This program contract started Sept. 22. Construction was to start in Nov. 22 and finish within a month. This was a 32 panel ground mount system located about 200 ft from our home. Some time in Dec the major construction was completed (late) but their licensed electrician told Elijah that his crew didn't have a heavy enough gauge wire coming from the panels. So they dig up my yard again and the trench becomes a bigger and bigger mess. Then the install crew can't get the panels to communicate and spend another two months trying to figure out why and how to fix it. Instead of doing their homework on the system from the start. They dug up our yard again and wired the box from the panels to our house to eliminate the communication problem. When they could have purchased a wifi from Enphase and fixed the problem. Now we find out our rebate is late because Sangamon didn't file all the forms we needed upon completion in April of 23. It's now Oct. 23.

We had Sangamon Solar install a 40 panel system two years back and we've loved it. Since our install, we've had a bit of roof damage from the elements and have decided to get a new roof. We've worked it out with Eli and it looks they'll work to coordinate removing and then reinstalling our system with the new roof. We're not out of the woods yet on our home improvement project, but if our initial install has any bearing on what's to come, I'm confident in the work ahead.
