Met my expectations!

I was very happy with my experience with Renova Energy. My consultant Patrick asked me a lot of questions to make sure he knew what they needed to do to meet my expectations. The Renova team kept in touch with me throughout the process. They were respectful of my property and cleaned up well after they were done. I am very happy with my durable SunPower system. I also had Renova install a battery system based on my experience with them. I would recommend Renova without reservation.

We can't tell you enough how happy we are to have decided to install solar panel from Renova.. We called a few other companies, as most people do, but we received the most information and attention from Renova, especially from Matt McPherson... who by the way is FANTASTIC.. very caring, helpful, always calls back immediately day or night and walked us through the entire process... He along with his crew Fernando and his workers were stellar, professional and accommodating... they were quick, polite, hardly made any noises, and if we didn't check we would have never known panels were up there... They placed them neatly and out of site.. we are beyond excited to start using Renova, and know we made the "best decision of our live" (other than each other and our kids hahaha)... and your reviews were amazing. After a few quotes, I chose Renova. They had the most comprehensive response, and as part of getting the quote, they sent two people to my house: one to provide me with info and answer questions about what I was looking for, the other to measure my roof and collect the wattage usage of all my appliances

I have had my system for 3 years

For the three years I've had my system it was running like clockwork! I did have a small issue with my inverter but it was fixed quickly and the problem didn't affect my system's production. I love my solar system!!!

Awesome job

The installation team was quick, clean and very respectful. They also finished early. The entire team from Nelson to the office and installers were great about follow up.

Easiest process ever

This process of getting solar for our house was a lot easier than we thought. Matt McPherson handled our questions and guided us through the process very well. The team that did the install was very professional, all about business, and the end result looked fantastic. All holes or parts installed for the panels were repaired, painted to match our house, and intelligently installed. Every aspect of the process was easy and ultimately the reason we chose Renova. They are a great company that goes to great length to make sure the customer is happy with the build. If you thinking about solar, this is your company. Highly recommend them.

Friends of mine had used Renova for their solar installations and recommended them highly. I was not disappointed. The entire process from start to finish was handled with a high degree of professionalism. Nelson, my rep, was very informative and was readily available to answer any questions I had. I was kept informed throughout every step of the process, which I appreciated. My system is up and running and saving me money and helping to save the planet.

Exceeded Expectations!

We worked with Matt McPherson when we were deciding to add solar panels to our roof. Our house was built in 2015, and had 9 solar panels (through Renova/SunPower), but we needed more. Matt provided us with all the information we needed to make this big decision. He was professional, prompt, courteous, and easy to talk with. No hard sales push or condescending attitude! Quite the contrary - he was knowledgeable, patient, kind, sincere and trustworthy - all the things customers want in a sales rep, but seldom get. He is the whole package! Since we had a unique situation and would have a 'hybrid' solar system in the end, we felt assured he would walk us through the entire process and address any concerns we had. He always returned phone calls and emails, and came out on the day of the installation (30 new panels, and moving of current panels) to make introductions and ensure things got off to a good start. We could not have asked for a better experience. Now we are communicating with Matt as we see the difference the additional solar power is having on our SCE bill!. We are very grateful to have had such a talented guy guide us through this. Thus, we are telling our neighbors about Renova, and about Matt.

Great employees, and great at keeping me updated

Matthew McPherson was our contact at Renova. He was always on time, and he explained everything in detail and our options. We had received a separate bid from Hot Purple, but we decided on the company with the most experience. Once we signed the contract, Matt told me that if I could get a Nest smart thermostat in the future, he'd go ahead and install it. Instead of Nest, we went with Ecobee. Matt hadn't installed one previously, but he gave it a shot. The Ecobee required an attachment to our HVAC, which was in the attic. It was beyond Matt's scope, but at least he made the effort. We decided to return the Ecobee and get a Nest, something that we had more control over. Matt came back out to the house and installed it for free. He kept us updated every step along the way of the installation process.. They took care of dealing with our HOA, Edison, and the City. Once permits were approved and they got the go ahead, the install started soon after. The installers were professional, and you could tell they liked to work together. I love upbeat workers! We were told to expect a three-day installation, but they were able to finish within two days.

Good company. Good explanation of electrical charges.

Name recognition. Nelson carefully explained the process,the charges and answered all of my questions. Also, there was no denigration of competition -- mainly spoke of Renova and Sun Power. Also, handled all paperwork and had been used by Chaparral residents before.

Didn't feel like a retail customer - never rushed us in discussing questions/issues on our mind, and always had good answers and willing to patiently explain them. Very knowledgeable, which made us have confidence and no need to be nervous. Our rep was proactive instead of just reactive.

Matthew McPherson is awesome!

Matthew McPherson was our sales person and the reason we decided to go with Renova Energy. He is by far one of the most responsive individuals ever. He answers calls, texts, emails 24/7. The installation process was seamless and they delivered everything they promised and beyond. We couldn't be happier with our purchase! Kudos to Matt!

I was really please with the way Renova Energy explained how solar panels could work and were very honest in there approach. Would definitely recommend them.

Took care of the details...

The last 5% of the job is the most important. Renova completed our work and the details that satisfied our HOA and responsibilities for the roof. Thework was finished and brought online on the day promised. Our questions were answered and all calls returned with answers. The contracting process was smooth and fell into place. Not much more we could ask.

Professional, Customer Oriented

Commercials were informative, with no hype, which I do not like. Made the phone call. From the outset, they were knowledgeable, informative, professional.

Excellent

Good management and customer service is best measured not when all goes as planned, but when things go wrong. We had a couple minor issues come up - driveway looked stained from the colored dust tracked off our roofing tiles on the workman's boots - it didn't budge with a broom or hosing off and I was afraid it would not come out. Barbara Jennings, our sales rep, contacted Renova's quality control and it was handled to our satisfaction and relief. After the install, the power generation/usage app showed us using more power than generating. Barb caught it immediately and had it corrected within 24 hours. Barbara Jennings, our Renova sales rep, was just outstanding. Returned all calls and emails promptly, handled every question and concern completely. System installed and operating as promised. We were referred to Renova by our neighbor that had just had an installation done. He told us that when he was meeting with solar companies for quotes, Renova's representative, their materials, and program, were so far superior to the others that he cancelled further appointments and signed with Renova. I would agree.

We were referred to Jeff Godels by another sastisfied customer with rave reviews. Jeff was extremely professional and got back to us right away to set up appointment and each time we called him with more questions. He made sure we had a thorough understanding of the system and great follow through from initial contact all the way through installation and after. He and Renova made sure each step was easy.

Excellent, just excellent

Renova Energy installed a Powerwall for us about a year ago: today, with the torrential rain that Palm Springs is getting, was its first test, as we've already lost power several times, each time for upwards of 50 minutes. The Powerwall did *precisely* what it was supposed to do, and we couldn't possibly be happier. Flawless execution on top of on-time-on-budget installation appears to be what these folks do best.

The crew were professional, knowledgable and managed minimal interruption to our daily routines.
