Renova Energy

Good experience!

David was very helpful. I am still awaiting the installation but the purchasing experience and help with navigating solar has been outstanding.

A+MAZING

Amazing experience from start to finish, very satisfied with the whole process, being a first time solar consumer I was impressed during the entire process, Nate and Nelson really took the time To explain all of my solar options. Issac and his crew were great, very professional and tidy which is important to me. I am now producing power and saving money! Couldn't be happier. Do not hesitate to use renova!

Excellent

They have been reliable and professional. Carlos Mora did an excellent job. Daniel and his crew were great. Always on time and prompt. Everyone went above and beyond what I expected. 5 Stars!

Fantastic and seamless service and support

Barbara Jennings handled our installation incredibly and was a great source of data balanced with great customer care.

Great organization to work with. No weak links in the chain.

Started out with SunRun which is the Solar company that we used for our last two houses. SunRun prices and services changed enough to search out other options. Finding Renova Energy was a perfect fit. Sales (Matt McPherson) did a great job explaining the process and found solutions when issues of finance etc came up. The production crews all worked nicely together, respectful, and cleaned up at end of each shift. The same high praise for the behind the scenes schedulers and office personnel who managed the communications and production process. I will definitely highly recommend Renova Energy to anyone we come across that is interested in solar energy systems.

Great service

They worked hard under hot conditions and Matt went above and beyond to be helpful

Top Notch Company!

From start to finish, Renova met and exceeded expectations. Sales agent Matt McPherson was professional from the get-go. He explained things clearly and thoroughly, answering questions with confidence. He actually met with us twice before we decided to go with Renova, once under the gazebo on a hot afternoon as remodeling was going on inside. Then when the project started, he kept us informed, which made the process much easier and less stressful. I think we should have asked more questions earlier about the process. . .might have saved us some stress. . .but Matt kept us on point. Then he made other visits and a nice meeting today (a couple weeks after completion) when he delivered a collection of "treats" not only for us but also for our cats. Meanwhile, the installation crew was great, too. Luis (I believe he was the guy in charge) and his assistants were responsible, respectful, and punctual. They gave us frequent "heads-up" information as they appeared concerned about our comfort as we were inside the house 90 percent of the time when work was going on. Even when it was loud, it wasn't too unbearable. The installation progressed smoothly as the guys worked extremely hard in blazing temps. They obviously knew what they were doing, professionals at their jobs, yet easy to work with and very accommodating. They never bothered us unnecessarily and were extremely aware of our needs. Looking back, I could have been a great deal friendlier. . .no excuses other than caught up in my own world and my own work issues. Nevertheless, Renova is a first-class team. Everything went smoothly from sign-up to installation to inspection. Clearly, the company's high rating comes honestly.

Great service, Great contract, Highly Recommended

Renova Energy handled my entire install, from system configuration to activation with minimal involvement required on my part. They got the permits required from the city, handled the interface with Southern California Edison, and submitted the required documents to my HOA to get their approval. The entire process went smoothly.

Wonderful experience !

First, Renova reacted immediately within 8 hours to a request for quote. We we lucky enough to get Matt McPherson as our representative. He has many years experience in solar and a long history with Renova. He educated us. Made absolutely sure we understood the pay down of the loan so our payments will stay flat. His command of facts coupled with another person (wish I could remember his name) that did a complete electrical evaluation to make sure we installed the correct number of panels. This is critical as you don’t want to pay SCE because you are not producing enough solar power. While I won’t know the absolute result for some months, Matt removed my concern simply because he is knowledgeable, honest, and concerned. The installation was awesome as our crew leader and his assistant were similar to Matt. They got it done on schedule. And they cleaned up and touched up all the paint. It’s so clean and while our solar is on the front of the house, it’s not an eyesore as we had skirting installed. Matt came back after the installation to go over functions and use of the solar. He brought a goodie basket with awesome Carmel corn :-)) I received quotes from a couple others but I will tell you they were both short 8 panels. Don’t get solar unless Renova does your site eval. I financed mine as a purchase using Mosaic loan group. Can’t say much yet. The only problem I occurred with a first month high bill from SCE. That’s not Matt’s fault. I was on level billing with SCE. Because I started the level plan in February, I had to pay the balance before starting my 12 month solar run. And my first solar payment came due the same month. If the installation happened in 2 months instead of three months in the cue I would not have had this all fall on the same month. However, note that there Is a lot that has to happen to get solar. The city had to permit and approve. And SCE requirements to hook onto their grid. Do call Matt McPherson and mention Mr. Wright’s review. He is awesome !!

Great installations by an employee owned company

Renova solar system installed June 2014 and continues the Sunower panel washing service. Tesla power wall installed May 2020. Installations of both systems were efficient and completed on schedule. Renova provided a detailed plan prior to installation and and applied for all required permits. Enrique Hoyt, Energy Consultant, provided indepth information of the benefits of adding the Tesla powerwall and using the Tesla app to monitor the system. Daniel Comparan, Lead Installer, was courteous, knowledgeable, on time and extremely neat. The work area was spotless when the installation was completed and all system boxes were painted to match the stucco. Jeff Flores, Battery Storage lead, was very accessible throughout the process and provided a battery review after installation. Edwin Flores, Energy Storage, worked behind the scenes but provided a seamless installation. Renova and Sunpower, local, brighter, better!

A very caring company

Ruben Gamez-Ramirez was a very organized young man who was able to explain everything we needed to know about solar energy. Then he kept us updated constantly throughout the project. All the men who worked on installing the panels were very hard working and nice. They certainly knew what they were doing! I would gladly recommend Renova Energy!

Fast and fair pricing

This company arrived as scheduled. They were very thorough and detailed with the pricing , process and time frame. They did a great job and were easy to work with, especially with having no knowledge of solar. I highly recommend using them.

Smooth Process!

From start to finish, everything went smoothly. We appreciate how well Ruben Gamez, the salesperson, explained everything to us and very friendly and nice. We had a couple electrical issues and Ruben had them resolved quickly. It has been great working with them. I'm excited to see our electric bill go down all while helping the environment. Thank you!

Covid-19 Installation

I chose Renova because of the good reviews from friends.

Based on the reviews I saw online.

Love Renova

Ruben was great couldn’t have done any of this without his help. Brendan is a very nice young man that kept me informed throughout the installation. He and his crew did a fantastic job. Overall a great experience.

Great service and installation

Seem to have the best products and pricing

Awesome !

Renova is the only choice. Their panel technology is more advanced and efficient than those that competitors use. That alone is reason to choose Renova. But what blew me away was their amazing customer service and follow thru. They answered every call and kept us up to date on the process before installation. Ruben took the time and explained exactly what the timeframe and steps were going to be. The installation team led by Frankie was professional and knowledgeable. To top it off their app is genius it allows us to monitor the use of our system and have complete control at our finger tips, Literally. Thank you so much Renova !!! You guys Rock !
