Super satisfied with my solar system!!

I was paying an average of over $200 per month with So Cal Edison (as high as $550 during the hot summer months). I chose Renova as my installer and they designed a solar system for my home that offsets all of my Edison usage so I pay a fixed rate and save over 30% on my electricity costs. The installation was quick, clean and the attention to detail was amazing!

Undoubtedly the Best Solar Company Around

I started shopping around for solar some time ago and found just what I was looking for with Renova Solar! I never felt like any of the companies ever cared about what was best for ME! I was referred to Renova through a really great friend and neighbor of mine. The consultant's name was Chad Beckstrand. Chad is awesome!!! He was very patient and answered all of my questions. I finally found the company that was knowledgeable about "everything solar" but had great customer service and kept me in the loop about everything that was going on. The best part about Renova is that they are a LOCAL company, have been in business for a really long time and offer a great product. I felt like they have, by far, the most experience in this extreme climate! If you are looking for solar, no doubt you should check out Renova and ask for Chad Beckstrand.

My partner and I interviewed three solar companies. One was a referral from a friend so at the beginning it was Renova's competitors sale to lose. They lost. My rep, Michael Cordero was professional and very informative. Choosing a solar company involves doing A LOT of homework in order to make the best decision. Michael was very responsive and answered all our questions and provided detailed information that the other two companies would not. Michael is a top notch sales professional. Patient with us and always followed up. The installation crew were on time and on schedule. They too took the time to explain every detail of the installation process. Ten months after the installation Michael still keeps in touch with us to ensure everything is going well. If you choose to go solar, choose Renova.

Exceptional Product

We chose Renova to install our SunPower solar panels because of their reputation to get install done right the first time. We were not disappointed! Renova staff had to bend over backwards to answer our HOA questions and get install completed before June 1 - and they did.

I don't know what or why I didn't do this solar sooner!!! When I could have gotten the rabates. Stupid on my account. So far I have paid so little to SCE it's crazy. Other than my lease payment, which is less than $185 and this is less than my level pay plan with Edison and at the end of the year I would still need to pay more to the utility company. If there is anyone out there on the fence - what are you waiting for the utility company will not be rolling back the rates...EVER! I would suggest you buy over lease only because once its paid for you have FREE power for life!!! Not that I'm not happy with my lease I am. Renova did a great job from start to finish and I would suggest you call and talk to someone today and start saving your money and live a cooler life in the summer - I am!

3 Years later and my Renova Solar is still working great!

I've had my Renova Solar system for a little over three years now. I could not be happier with the installation, follow-up and annual savings my solar provides. Year after year it works with no problems. Thank you, Renova for saving me money and doing the right thing for the environment!

Installed in the fall of 2013, my system is coming up on 4 years of essentially trouble-free operation. There has only been 1 instance where the system experienced a problem, and that was quickly diagnosed and fixed by Renova. It comes down to this: High quality equipment + top-notch installation and maintenance = reliable and superior performance!

We had considered solar previously but just did not get a good vibe from the companies we talked with. Then a friend recommended Renova. We met once with the sales person, Barb, and knew we might be ready. However, we were still on the fence. She met with us again and gave us former clients to speak with. We decided to go ahead. Renova, with Barb leading the way, made the process easy. They took the lead with getting permits from the City AND approval from our HOA in a timely manner, this is not an easy task. The install crew were on time and were polite and neat and tidy. Working with contractors is often a challenge with Renova super smooth. I purchased my system almost 3 years ago. I did all kinds of research before contracting with Renova Solar to do my system. They use the best and most efficient panels and inverters on the market. Their installers were very detailed oriented. Everything was done very professionally. If you are looking for a solar company, I would definitely recommend Renova Solar.

Let me begin by saying before you choose to go Solar-do your "homework" and research the other Solar companies that are out there. I am certain you will come to the conclusion that Renova is truly the only legit one. It took my husband and I close to a year to decide to commit to Solar as we were apprehensive and did not completely understand the whole process. However, all that changed after speaking to Brandon De La Torre, our Solar Consultant from Renova. From start to finish Brandon was thorough, efficient, and spoke to us using non jargon language that we could understand. He put us at ease with his non-pressure and honesty when it came to assisting us throughout this whole process. In addition, our Renova installation crew were professional, courteous, and timely. They arrived when they said they would and paid great attention to detail. Every step of the way worked out exactly how we were told it would, and there were no surprises. Best Solar Company in the Valley

I have had my system for a few years now. Everything is still running like clock work - absolutely no problems. When I first started looking for solar I interviewed three companies - two local and one in Riverside. The sales consultant for Renova answered all my questions so I could understand AND had the best price. The installation process was exactly how I was told it would be done and it was within the timeframe I was told. The installers were very polite and respected my property. They arrived on time and cleaned up every day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Renova - they are a class act.

2 years & Going Strong

I recently finished my 2nd year of using solar energy at my home & I couldn't be more pleased. My 'true up' from the utility was almost a break even. At the end of year 2, I used 70-kilowatt hours of power from the grid & my solar system generated the other 21,317 kilowatt hours that I used. Renova Solar did an excellent job installing my Sunpower system that I monitor on my phone app regularly. They made the process very simple & transparent with no pressure whatsoever. Going solar is a "NO BRAINER" these days. My electricity costs are fixed for the next several decades & I can budget what I will spend on power which makes my life easier!!

RENOVA.SOLAR IS FAR & AWAY THE BEST

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Renova.Solar. My salesperson, Jesse Kruszynski, was totally professional and was right on top of the whole approval & installation process and kept me posted every step of the way. Some of the words that come to mind in describing my experience include: professional, amazingly helpful, honest, punctual, thorough, and price competitive. I also liked the fact that they only use SOLARPOWER panels which are state-of-the-art and only manufactured in the USA.

Above and beyond

We recently had solar installed on our vacation home in Palm Springs, CA. We had shopped around among the many other providers in the Coachella Valley and ended up choosing Renova. We are glad we did and are very satisfied customers. They went above and beyond our expectations, as will be explained later. From the outset we got a good feeling for the company and their staff. Information was delivered in a language that was both informative and easy to understand. When you start to hear all the sales pitches it can be hard to wade through some of the terminology, but Jesse K made it easy to follow, without making it feel like a hard sales pitch. We decided to go with Renova for two main factors-- the product they sold (Sunpower panels) and the professionalism of their staff. We also decided to take advantage of the HERO program, which attaches the cost of energy efficiency upgrades to your property taxes-- spreading the cost of the system out over time. As Canadians, we couldn't take advantage of the 30% tax allowance US citizens are entitled to and combined with the slump of the Canadian dollar in recent months, we wanted to hedge our bets and pay out the loan once the CDN$ rose again. The amount of funds available through the HERO program depends on the equity of your home. This also meant that there was no initial outlay of cash. Renova has designated staff that takes care of this process for you and it takes about 20 minutes to get you approved. The installation process was a snap. Once a date was scheduled, the installation crew showed up right when expected. They were a friendly group of guys who walked me through the process of what was about to happen to our house. There were three Renova employees and two roofing specialists. The install went smoothly and finished almost one day ahead of its three day schedule. The third day was just a bit of tweaking to the control panel. The system went "live" on day three and the energy output was exactly what was to be expected if not a bit more. We were also able to obtain an app that allows us to monitor our system from our smart devices, which is extremely handy when we are at home 1000 miles away. The real reason I am writing this ringing endorsement of Renova is what they have done for us after the fact. We are the homeowners unlucky enough to live beside a complaining neighbor. Our home is in a gated community of stylized new mid-century modern homes. In order to proceed with our solar system (one of the many in our little community) we had to receive approval from our HOA and an Architectural Review Committee. The design/layout was approved with flying colors. Once the install was completed, a neighbor complained about the unsightliness of our panels and how two small triangles just above our roof line 'ruined' his view. It is solar in Palm Springs people!... Our system was designed to be minimally invasive to sight lines, with minimum tilt and angle and met or exceeded all guidelines and regulations... Our neighbor didn't believe in any of this and wanted four panels moved from the back of the house that he found offensive. We had no legal or moral obligation to appease his bullying and we are protected by the Solar Act of California. After numerous nasty emails from the neighbor and many conversations with Renova about appropriate solutions that the neighbor deemed unacceptable, it appeared there would be no resolution but for bad blood on one side of a concrete wall. Renova reached out and made us an offer we couldn't refuse and one that they didn't need to make. They offered, at no charge, to remove four panels and relocate them to another roof on our home. We took a moment to think this generous offer over. Part of me didn't want to give into the bully, but the better part of me didn't want to see a neighbor (also a prominent Palm Springs realtor/developer) bad mouth a company that has done everything right by us. We accepted the offer and have had the panels moved. I have never seen a company so willing to go out of their way to make a tough situation right. And we could not be more grateful to have chosen Renova as our solar provider. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for solar.
