A Class Company

When we decided to look into installing Solar, we asked friends that had an installation. Two very close friends highly recommended Renova. We contacted Renova and was introduced to Ken Waski, their Energy Consultant. He came out to the house and explained everything that was involved with a Solar installation. He discussed the upgraded panels, the connection with Southern California Edison, the compensation factor when the energy is sent back to the grid and more importantly, he explained a financing program that would save us money by working with Mosaic. After convincing us that Renova was the best fit for us, another representative came out and handled all the paper work. All we had to do was write a couple of checks to the HOA all part of the program here at the Springs. When the installtion date rolled around, Renova's team showed up and promised they would be finished in four days. Four days later they were done and they did such a brilliant job of installing, that you can hardly notice the panels from either the golf course or the street. A week or so later, Ken Waski came by and explained how the system works and downloaded an app so that we could monitor the system. It is quite evident that Renova is a "Class Company"

Renova Install in Palm Desert

We purchased our new home in Palm Desert in October of 2017, and immediately began thinking about adding a solar system, so we educated ourselves about whether it made economic sense, since it certainly made ecologic sense. After some research we chose Renova as our vendor-of-choice, and worked with Ken Waski as our consultant. Ken asked a lot of questions over the phone and a few days later came to our house to discuss the options. His team had done research using Google Maps to look at our roof and determine how many panels we needed to cover our electric bills. He also brought along an engineer to verify the panel placement, location of electrical connections and other factors that would impact the installation. Using our electric bills and estimates of future rate increases, Renova sized the system so we should have a net zero electric bill every year. At times we'll be selling electricity back to SC Edison, and during the peak periods of the summer we'll be buying - but overall the system is sized to net out to zero (for electrical usage - there's still a small monthly "connection" fee). Ken went through all the details and brought spreadsheets to show how the estimates were calculated. His presentation was clear and understandable. Overall, this has been a very easy decision and working with Renova has been a great experience. The financials work, and the Renova team has been super professional, helping with rebate paperwork, communicating regularly, doing a very professional looking installation, and even cleaning up and painting the walls where some holes were drilled. The best part is that we now have guilt-free air conditioning during the hot season and we are doing something positive for the environment. Ken was also a zero-pressure sales guy - he spent hours educating, and his information matched what I had researched independently. Our system has been up and running for a few weeks now and everything is working great. The Sunpower system controller is connected to the internet and we can see how much power the system is producing at any given time. So far this month we've produced 415kWh, far more than we've used.

Sunsational solar experience

I did a lot of research and talked to many solar companies before deciding who to work with. I wanted to make sure that the company not only had the best products and installers, but that they would be there for me in the future should I have any issues. My experience with Renova was fantastic from my initial consult to the after install follow-ups. I have had the system now for almost a year and it is producing as promised ++ and I feel the system that I was advised on was the perfect size for our home and its electrical needs. There are a few really great solar distributors/installers in the desert, but I ultimately went with Renova for a few reasons that made them stand out from their peers. The first is their competitive lease prices (they were the best deal at the time), and second was the quality solar consultant who was my representative, Michael Cordero. His expertise in the solar industry gave me confidence that I was getting the best product and quality system for my needs. I never felt pressured to work with Renova, and unlike other reps I spoke with, he never spoke badly about competitors. Lastly, the communication with anyone at Renova was excellent. The entire process was very transparent, on time and seamless. The team of installers was also top-notch and very respectful. We love that the panels can not be seen from the street and the work & panel upgrade was done professionally. And the team never left a mess at the end of the day! Renova knows the needs of the desert and I believe they work really hard to maintain a level of service that their clients can stand behind.

Project Management was on top of all activity, communicated progress through permitting process and install scheduling. I was very pleased by Renova. Their attention to customer service was what made me go with them. They were quick to respond, but most importantly they met with you face to face and sent people to the home to accurately assess my needs. They were timely and responsive on everything. The installation went off perfectly and with no problems. They also followed up in detail afterwards. I would highly recommend them because the service level is very high.

I've been on the fence and have obtained bids every 2 years for the past decade. I recently spoke with Ken Waski from Renova and several representatives from other companies. Ken provided the best information iwth the least sales BS. I decided to purchase, and Renova quicly proceeded with the design, approval and installtion of my system in October 2017. Ken Waski was the best, and consulted with and informed me consistently. He is professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I went with SunPower panels that are highly efficient with a great warranty. The installers were friendly, neat, arrived on time as scheduled and completed the work quickly. I recommend Renova in general and Ken in particular.

Outstanding experience working with Patrick. He guided us through the process from start to finish, and he was very helpful in coordinating pre-installation roof repairs and electrical upgrades. We shopped around before going with Renova and are very happy with our choice. The installation looks great. The process went smoothly. And we're now looking forward to saving on our energy bill.

Delivered as expected

Ken, the sales rep, explained everything clearly to us from the beginning who is very knowledgeable and he made us very comfortable. We were invited as well to the facility and showed us everything that needed to be told. We had a nice visit. The installation went smooth! We were explained every step of the way what was going on. The crew was fantastic at doing their job. They cleaned the site and replaced some of the broken tiles on our roof. I am very happy with all and I highly recommend them. Highly Charged Experience

After talking to three solar companies, we chose the company that was locally based in the Palm Springs area. Renova Solar had the best price, best reviews and offered Sunpower panels which appear to be a much higher quality than others I have seen. The Sunpower panels have a higher wattage which means we needed fewer panels on our roof. Renova installed on-time and kept us informed throughout the whole process. Renova Solar has proven to be a high quality customer oriented company.

Everyone at Renova was great. The approval through the City was excellent, and getting things done through Southern California Edison was easy with Renova! The design of our install was excellent, and Renova always answered our questions and listened to our concerns. Steve and his team were excellent, and followed up with us throughout the whole process. Cannot say enough good things about this Company, and in the Desert, it's very hard to say that! I will definitely use Renova again if the opportunity arises.

The installation of my residential solar system was completed recently by Renova Solar, in June 2017. I did my research of solar companies and decided to go with Renova. My sales representative was Ken Waski and in my opinion he's the best. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable and thorough. Also, in my opinion the SunPower panels that were installed are top of the line. The installers were also friendly and completed the work in a timely, neat and clean fashion.
