Rayah Solar

Brad and Lindsay are very good in laying out the project details and answering all my questions. Unfortunately the good experience ends there. Their customer service is poor, don't respond to emails. I had to push repeatedly every step for them to act. My solar system activation was delayed by 8 months. Some are caused by issues such as supply chain constrains, but majority of the delay was because of their lack of urgency and poor customer service. I would not recommend them to anyone. Don't be fooled by their sales pitch.

Rayah came in at the best price, so when they did shoddy work I basically said "well, that's why I paid $10k less". However, my roof started leaking. At first I thought it was the contractor that I used to put a new roof on before the panels went on. When the roofers came out to inspect they showed me that it was coming from the solar panels. I sent Rayah pictures of multiple leaks and where they were coming from. Absolutely no doubt it's the panels. I have talked with them no less than 20 times and keep getting the run around. No they won't return my calls. I have no choice but to go thru insurance and I hope they sue them to get their money back. Solar is great, but I would strongly suggest you chose a different company for solar. I feel abandoned and have been nothing but nice to this company. SHAME!!!!

We had a disastrous experience and can not recommend Rayah. Brad was knowledgeable and helpful and nearly all of the staff are kind and hardworking. But coordination of needs, requests, and follow-up we found/find sorely lacking. We experienced multiple issues and delays. We contracted for a ground mount in Sept 2021. They left a large trench open to our foundation for months that led to melting snow and ice flooding our always-dry basement. They were very responsive during the flooding and immediately afterwards, but concerns and requests were largely disregarded both before and since. We finally paid a backhoe operator to finish backfilling the trench. We paid Rayah in full in 2021, however we still are not able to use solar power, even though the electric company gave us permission to operate and installed a net meter. The monitoring app company has attempted to assist us but say only Rayah can get us online, unless/until they go out of business.

I'm very pleased with the experience I've had with Rayah Solar. We had some delays due to Covid, and a few other hiccups along the way, but through it all, Brad, Aliyah, Kendra and the team were all very responsive and professional, and I'm thrilled to be up and running with solar. I love seeing my negative Eversource bills and collecting my monthly SMART incentives. Just waiting for the battery storage to arrive and the system will be complete!

Rayah (and Brad the project manager especially) was a great experience to have my solar installed. Everyone was great in guiding me through the process from start to end. They were able to design what I needed and even have options available like EMP/solar flare hardened systems. They showed up when they said and did a very professional job. Having a responsive team like this was a treat when it seems like tradesmen these days are almost impossible to deal with. Great job guys!

We were very happy with the service provided by Rayah Solar from start to finish. Brad was very knowledgeable about the process, technology, options and programs with EverSource (utility company). We were interested in solar panels and a backup battery in case the grid goes down. Rayah's design and solution worked very well. Their staff designed and implemented the whole system flawlessly. I decided Rayah Solar was the company for my family. Brad took the time to explain the benefits of solar as well as the energy storage system as well. Rayah not only has excellent service, but the pricing was great as well. After going over all of the options Brad and I went with LG panels, Generac inverter, batteries and automatic transfer switch. The equipment is smart and works together and can be monitored on the app. Rayah can also monitor for performance as well. This would be great if the system needs to be serviced in the future. Their warranty was the best offered. I have enjoyed the Rayah experience and hope others can as well. This system is already saving me hundreds of dollars per month and will pay for itself quickly. Their team is very friendly, knowledgeable and and highly skilled. Brad knew everything and helped from incentives, financing, install. The entire team was extremely professional and quick to respond to any questions I had along the way. I will recommend the Rayah experience to co-workers, family and friends. This is a no-brainer, when there is an option for $0 down.

Every step of the solar process was made easy with Rayah. The company is very transparent and walk you through each step of the way. Everyone from the project manager to the installers to the sales team are so nice and easy to talk to and are able to answer every question you may have.

The sales experience was great. Brad explained everything and took all the time we needed to feel comfortable with solar power, the installation, and the financing. He helped us look at options for financing and helped us find the least expensive way to pay for our solar.

In August 2019, we had 22 panels put on the house and the installation was efficient, the information given was thorough and understandable, and even with the small tornadoes happening on the Cape about the same time interfering with our electric company's schedule, start-up was quick. Glad we used Rayah!

Owner / founder was quite knowledgeable and explained everything well and price was middle of pack. However, downhill from there: 1) I was setting up virtual metering against 2 meters (multi-family) and their recommendation to set up against largest use meter was incorrect (everyone says it should have been set up against smallest use, including them), which will cost thousands in electrician fees to fix. 2) We had an issue with system in mid-November and it took them until March to fix. However, in order to get it fixed, had to contact multiple times (they never seemed to follow up on their own even though they promised they would), and an issue with virtual metering is still not resolved (it's now July) with having to email and call them every few weeks. Overall, probably best to go with another company since they are plenty of great ones out there.

I just had my solar panels (28 SunPower 350 X-series) installed by Rayah Solar a couple of weeks ago. I researched many companies because making my decision. Brad Stoler is very knowledgeable about solar and provided me with tons of information in order for me to make an informed decision. He was very patient with me as I pondered my options and asked more questions over several weeks. Once I signed the paperwork, everything went according to plan. The project manager assigned to my project (Aliyah Chidbubem) kept me informed along the way about the multiple steps leading to the install (paperwork, inspections, installation, SMART credit signup, etc). She also answered any question I had in a timely manner. The installation crew is the most professional crew I have ever experienced (very polite, cleaning up the place after each day of work at my house, and keeping my wife and I informed about their progress). Kudos to Lumyr Derisier, Kendra Webb and the rest of the crew who made an awesome job with the install. I highly recommend Rayah for Solar projects.

Going solar is a tough decision for any homeowner given the sticker price, extended time horizon, and complicated process. However, Rayah helped us through it and now we have fabulous panels on our roof slashing our electric bills. What first attracted me to Rayah is the salesman Brad Stoler. The man does his job very well. He took his time explaining the entire process - paperwork, materials, installation, and finances (state/federal tax credits and rebates). Other solar companies I got a quote from tried very hard to finish their in-person spiel in under 20 minutes. That bombardment of info would leave anyone uneasy and unsure! However, Brad and I talked for a bit over 2 hours (at my request) on EVERYTHING. He was super patient and made sure I knew what I'd be getting myself into - espcially how to pay for the panels. I had lots of follow-up specific questions after the consultation and Brad was beyond helpful - I could tell he tried to give a full and honest answer to all of my questions. After signing up with, I was impressed with the installation go-to-person. She guided me through all the necessary paperwork, responded to my questions within 1-2 days, and is very kind and respectful overall. It was so easy! Thanks to her and Brad, I feel confident in my ability to understand the solar system and rebates/tax credits I will definitely be using. It's worth noting that the panels Rayah uses are top-notch. The panels may be different depending on the situation, but I appreciate Rayah offering panels with high efficiency, degrade at the slowest rate of most panels, and are overall quite nice to look at. In conlusion, I am very satisfied with Rayah's team and services. The entire process took about 4 months (August to late November) from signing to turning on the panels, through what I see as no fault of their own. This is because getting electrical inspections from the city, working with our chosen bank, and the Mass Solar Loan program took a long time. Rayah does everything they can do to help, show appreciation for their customers, and is always welcoming of questions - no question is a dumb question. I recommend Rayah to anyone interested in solar, regardless of how much you know about solar! I sure didn't.

We cannot express how grateful and satisfied we are with the solar installation process that Rayah Solar did at our house. The entire process has been exceptional, beginning with the assessment and proposal, project management and the installation. It was a pleasure to have the team at our house and we are impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, ability to answer our questions and their diligence for their work. Our congratulations to Rayah on assembling a very solid team as they took time to perform the installation and made it aesthetically pleasing while taking care of our house and its interior. I chose Rayah based off of their good reviews and knowledgeable salesperson. However, after signing the contract, I had many issues reaching the customer service team. When I did, they were often confused on project details. My install was significantly delayed. During install, they told me the design we had agreed on could not be done. It was too late to go back to the drawing board as they had already installed panels. Hoping this will keep others from making the same mistake I did choosing this company. 11/29/18 Update: I am increasing my rating as multiple people from Rayah reached out to see if there was anything they could do, which means a lot. Also, my system is producing well, slightly over what we actually use. Looking beyond the poor customer service I received during the installation period, I am satisfied with the results.

They were really fast and clean. Everything works well.

What impressed us early on was how knowledgeable and reliable the salesman, Brad Stoler, was. This installation was done for our church. Which, given committees, etc. requires a fair amount of patients. Brad never hesitated to give us what was needed. He was there literally every time we needed him. I had a great experience with Rayah. I have been a business owner for over 60 years, so I know the difference between a great company and a mediocre company. I pride myself on not being one of the easiest guys to work with. Rayah was able to handle all the intricacies of a solar construction process, and they were willing to work with me and my sometimes pressuring demeanor. With the new price increase from my utility, my solar incentives are paying me better than $1,500 every 3 months; with SREC's plus an average of $100.00 monthly electric bill. Here is the best part, the extra income from my solar leaves me enough extra money to pay my property taxes in full +. This was the 2nd time I installed solar panels and Rayah was terrific! They were able to install a few weeks ahead of schedule and the installation was flawless. They were all professional and answered all of my questions. They even asked my opinion about if I thought the placement of the electrical boxes looked ok. I would recommend them to anyone that asked me who to go to for solar.

We had met with several solar providers before Brad from Rayah met with us. It seemed as if with each presentation, more questions were raised. When Brad made his presentation, he covered every detail, in detail. In my occupation I have dealt with contractors, installers and large companies providing multi-million dollar pieces of equipment so I’m not easily impressed. We signed up with Rayah on the spot which is something I never do. I felt that comfortable going with Rayah. Every step from that point on went every bit as smooth. We were assigned a project manager who handled every detail, answered every question and was always readily available. The physical installation was by far the best contractor experience I have ever had. It was virtually flawless in execution and product. The crew was friendly, neat and courteous as well as very respectful of my house and property. I was on-site for the entire installation so I know exactly how everything was done and it was as good as it gets. Brad, our salesman, was actually on-site supervising the installation. He did the majority of the work on the roof. That explains why he was so effective as a salesperson. He knows solar systems inside and out. The installation was completed within the two day window even with a few random thunderstorms passing through. Brad was even present for the electrical inspection. Our system went live on August 3rd of 2017. Since then we were transitioned from AliYah, our Project Manager to Kendra, our Customer Support person. Both were excellent to work with. It’s now almost the end of October and I haven’t paid a penny for electric to Eversource. I’ve actually banked a substantial amount of energy in my account. Kendra is now walking me through the process of reporting my production in order to qualify for the SRECs for my system. Overall, this entire process, all of the people involved and the physical products could not have been better!

We are so happy that we chose to use Rayah Solar for our solar project. We had the system installed in December and even though it was winter we still only had one tiny electric bill the first month. Since then we have been building our bank of energy with no monthly electric bill. Rayah is very customer oriented and walked us through every step of the way with the loan and install process and they continue to answer any questions that we may have months after the install is complete. We chose the black Sunpower panels and they look great! No wires or rails are showing and they look like just part of the roof.

Installing solar panels, was the best decision we ever made. I am getting all that it was promised by the salesman and the company. Panels are producing enough energy for my home since day one. It will be 3 years in April that it was installed and only in the first year in the month of August I paid $17.00, since then I been bill free. If I ever have a question and call the company, they always there to help me, very friendly crew. I would highly recommend them to anyone consider to install solar panel.

My husband and I were into the middle stages of going solar. We had a number of companies come out to look at our property and give us estimates - some written, some verbal. But it wasn't until Brad Stoler came from Rayah Solar that both my husband and I felt a breath of fresh air. First of all there is nobody more personable and nobody more knowledgeable who had come out previously. Brad was not into high sales pitches or gimmicks nor was he in any hurry to get through the information he wanted to get through . And that is KEY - he genuinely wanted to explain his product and did so with thoughtful attention to our ability to take it all in. By the time he left I felt like inviting him to stay for dinner! He began by telling us what the Rayah experience was supposed to be and by the time he left, I reflected for a minute and thought - ah ha, so that is the comfort Rayah promises. Thank you Brad!

Brad was very helpful in all information given. He was very courteous and polite. He was very open and honest with all answers and very helpful with filling out the paperwork. Selah who handles the front office is very nice and helpful. I will update this review at a later time.

t is not clear where I would write the glowing review Rayah certainly deserves. Everything from My first meeting to inquire about Rayah solar has gone as smooth as melted butter. The attention to keep me updated along the way is something other businesses could emulate, Solar or not. The day was scorching hot when the panels were installed on my house. The crew arrived at At the projected time and got to work immediately. I am in happy shock at the amenable nature Of the crew as a group, each member had a role and understood their role and assisted other Members as needed. Clean up was beyond fantastic, no foot print left! I am waiting for the Customary inspections to take place before the solar panels are turned on. That will be a great day!

My Rayah experience started from the first knock on my door when Chris Painter came calling, but not aggressively pushing, looking to hear if I had interest in solar. Admittedly defensive, I said no thanks and started to shut the door. I had however, been thinking about it and I knew what the approach was I wanted to take - no money upfront and equal or smaller payments than what I was making - so I stopped and provided Chris these requirements and asked what he could do. This started a collaborative dialog with the Rayah team - Chris from the sales side, AliYah from the delivery side, and Kendall from the support / maintenance side (apologies if the names of the groups aren't exact but this is how I experienced their engagement) - that took me from initial quote through running system. Everyone was pulling together towards the goal of getting across the line! I appreciated the proactive communication with updates as the process moved forward, and even when a snag was hit that caused a little delay, someone was always reaching out to me before I had to reach out to them. Thanks team for making my solar transition a simple and positive one!! In this highly competitive market with so many choices (just looking at the vans driving around, the yard signs, and more and more houses equipped with panels) I am glad I chose Rayah and would recommend them to anyone looking to see if solar is right for them!

The team at Rayah solar and their partners executed on the tasks exactly as promised and we have been extremely happy with the results. They were timely, courteous, and professional and the process could not have gone smoother. I would highly recommend them.

My only regret is that I did not do this sooner. I have been up and running for over five years with no down time or maintenance expenses. Located on the water with no obstructions my system provides me with enough electricity to not only pay 100% of my summer house but also a portion of my permanent residence. I have worked with Rayah Solar over the years and found them to be very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to the new emerging solar industry.

Excellent Installation team. Brad and his team were very professional, polite and courteous. After some initial issue that Brad addressed the system is running great. Our Electric bill is greatly reduced and we haven't even hit the long power producing days of summer yet.

Rayah Solar installed my solar system a year and a half ago and it is producing more power than they estimated. I am very happy with my system. Rayah was great to deal with,my project manager was the best,she kept me updated on the entire project from start to finish. I would recommend them 100%.

Brad and Aliyah were great. Aliyah stayed on top of everything. It has worked out even better than expected and we are saving energy. Now we have an electric car and even save more on gasoline. I wish we have more space for additional panels.

He was never pushy or "hard sell" and gave me ample time to make my decision. I was completely comfortable with the entire process and consider him a friend. The installation crew was great. Always courteous and professional and they were receptive to my suggestion for the placement of the meter. They did a good job cleaning up after the installation. It's only been a little over a month since the system was installed so I haven"t received an electric bill yet but I'm very happy with the amount of electricity the panels are generating. I highly recommend Rayah Solar.

We have solar panels installed just over a year now. Everything has been working great so far. Brad and his people handled everything. They were very professional and answered questions very promptly. They also showed us the design of what the panels will look like on our roof before installation. Great work and highly recommended.

We've had solar on our roof for three years now and all has worked out perfectly!
