A good investment, IF you do the research

I’ve had solar panels from Palmetto for a smidge under one year now. Late October 2023 install and early October 2024 review. I feel that overall my experience is a positive one, but there are several things I as a potential customer could have done better on, and a few the company could have done better on. First, the sales process. They’re not pushy. It was an efficient process from deciding to go with them until the panels were installed. And generally I am satisfied. However, one point of contention I have is they could have explained the rebate process better. We decided to go to solar because of a generous federal rebate which the salesman made it seem like we would be getting cash back which we could either put towards the cost of the system or keep. And come to find out, the rebate is in the form of a tax credit. Not a “discount” like we were led to believe. Furthermore, that tax credit only applies if you owe on your taxes. So if you’re getting a refund, you’re not able to take advantage of the credit. However, that credit does apply until it runs out (I think). Next up, they wanted an energy bill so they could estimate how many solar panels we would need. So we gave them our latest energy bill, which happened to be September and we hadn’t really used a large amount of energy. It would be far more helpful if they asked for a years worth of energy bills so they could get a more accurate picture of our households energy consumption. If they insist on going one bill, make sure you are giving them a bill with a lot of power usage so you are getting an adequate amount of panels installed. My next gripe ties directly into the last one; our energy bill is not zero as promised. We still get a bill from Duke power, albeit a greatly reduced one. I have a neighbor who went solar with the same company and she says she isn’t getting a power bill, only a solar bill. So I think we are mainly at fault there because we didn’t have enough panels installed. But I think the company bears some blame there, and getting a better picture of energy usage would in my opinion fix this. So overall my too long, didn’t read version is that you need to do thorough research into whether it’s right for you, and how to go about it if so. Don’t go in uneducated, which I am embarrassed to admit, we did.

Shady! Liars!

Install was good- working fine for two years without an issue. Spend about $13/month and in summer almost $0. Two weeks ago said my monitoring system was down, I would have to pay a hefty fee to have a technician come out and “access” and reconnect-what a bunch of liars-this after care support has horrible follow-through they can barely speak English and take 48 hours minimum to reply. I was worried about getting scammed by this venture into solar panels, and feel like it’s coming true. Somehow they need to be held accountable!

Do not avail to Palmetto Solar, they have hidden fees and poor customer service.

Took 14 grand and ran

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I began my marathon trying to get solar May of 2025, and not only did the project end up getting cancelled due to a discovery that the subcontractor lacks permits to operate in my state, I have yet to receive the $14,000 down payment I provided back in June of last year. What is even worse is that Palmetto has strung me along for the entirety of our relationship. I am writing this nearly a full year later because every month for the first 6 months they told me permitting was almost done and they would soon install (which was not possible as they couldn't even operate in the state) and then the last 4 months I have been told every week they are working to get my money returned, which has not happened. I chose this company after reading good reviews on multiple forums, and thought I was making a well-informed decision. It is shocking the level of customer care failing to be provided by a company of this size and reputation. I will update this review with any outcomes that result from either response to my refund requests or legal actions.

Terrible service

My panels/system is one year old, it has been very glitchy, randomly shutting down and not producing. The company that allegedly monitors the system, never notices it’s down, even when it’s several days. Now it has been down for TWO MONTHS! I notified them, took a week before customer service returned my calls, then were unable to get a service tech out for an additional 6 weeks! I’m still paying, and now I have to pay Xcel Energy too! Terrible system, terrible service

One pissed customer | Tucson, AZ | 10/11/2025

My monthly energy costs doubled.

Do not use this company. This salesman, Brett Huff starts by telling me my next door neighbor "did not qualify for free solar panels but I did." All lies. The 25 year contract stipulates $89.12 monthly plus rate increases. After four months my bills have not gone down one cent. So now my energy costs have doubled. Not to mention the stupid installers cracked my interior ceiling and wall. Their customer service sucks. I intend to contact the South Carolina AG and file a complaint against this business. I am going to lawyer up also to get out of the contract.

Angry Son | Riverside, CA | 08/20/2025

Scummy scammy company

If I could give under 1 star I would. These people leased solar panels to my 93 year old father who died 3 months after signing the lease. I had to pay almost 30 thousand dollars to end the contract early so we could sell the house. They still call me every day asking for their payments they say I'm now several months late on. I tell them every day I already paid 30k to break their stupid predatory contract.

Connie | Perry, GA | 08/19/2025

Customer service is horrible. It’s hard to understand agent. I ask to speak to a supervisor but they won’t let me. I’ve called 5-6 times with no response yet. They keep telling me to wait up to 48 hours for a technician to call me back. I wait and then call back. That’s why I’ve called so many times. I tried calling today and asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they were not in. I’ve read many reviews with the same problem I am having. It sounds like they need to hire more technicians. I wouldn’t use this company, too many problems. Go through the reviews with 1 star and you will understand.

Customer service

Palmetto Solar has ZERO customer service! They uninstalled my panels so I could get my roof replaced but never came back to re-install them. After numerous phone calls and emails with no response, I finally gave up!

Palmetto Solar

DO NOT BUY SOLAR PANELS! These people sold my husband who is in 80's solar panel loan for 50,000 dollars. They didn't check the title names on the home and they installed anyway. SCAM on the elderly! This was the biggest waste of money! Unless you plan to live in your home for 20 years you will LOSE MONEY on solar. SOLAR PANELS ARE THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY! What they fail to tell you is the cost of the loan that you will be paying to purchase them and if you need to sell forget about it you will need to pay off the loan because buyers don't always understand them. If you need to repair your roof you're looking at 10,000 grand to remove and reinstall. IT"S A SCAM! The only people making money are the solar companies on your dime!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!

N R | Phoenix, AZ | 06/17/2025

Shady Practices

Considered working with this group to get leased solar panels. Signed the agreement, but had voiced concerns about the condition of our roof and whether they would be good to install. They bypassed their own roof inspection to RUSH the job through. The installers wouldn't install because they were convinced the roof wasn't in good enough shape. The quote to fix the roof was 12k from a separate vendor and wasn't worth the solar savings. Their project manager, in an attempt to "save" the project tried to layer in the roof repair costs into the lease amount, which increased the liability and sent a new agreement. When I declined, he threatened me with up to $10,000 in cancellation fees for a project that literally hadn't even started. Fortunately, I have experience with reviewing contracts. This was such an obvious scare tactic. I was easily able to cancel the project through their normal routes without consequence, but any kind of scum project manager that would threaten that needs to be fired. I cannot imagine an older couple on a fixed income seeing that and not being pressured/manipulated into a lease. I intend to file a complaint with the AG Consumer Protection Division and get this company investigated for this. Don't give your money to companies that employ these kinds of people and tactics.

Misleading and regrets

I purchased the Solar panels 5 years ago. They looked at my electric bill and calculated how many panels I need to produce sufficient energy. My panels have never produced enough energy and now I pay an electric and solar panel bill. My inverter broke and was replaced last year. Now the system is not working again and they would like me to pay $600 to have a repair man look at it. I wish I did better research and never went with this company! the reviews are terrible. So now I have 3 bills! We do not open the pool anymore so we use less electricity now but i still get a bill. I spoke with Victor This AM who informed me that the company cannot afford to pay the bills for repair. Although the repair is for the inverter they replaced last year. Keep doing your research and go with a reputable company!

Carolyn Tierney | Tucson, AZ | 05/08/2025

The salesman lied and was evasive

I told the salesman, in no uncertain terms, that I would not agreee to be on auto-pay. He never told me it was required, he never told me it was part of a contract, he never told me that not being on auto-pay would cost me an extra $15 per month. That's $4,500 dollars over the 25 year term of the contract, or $180 per year. That would have seriously impacted my decision on whether or not to agree to have these panels attached to my house. He was more concerned with making the sale and getting his bonus to go on a nice vacation to Jamaica than with being honest open about anything. He assured me that he would "be with me every step of the way", but now he is nowhere to be found. He has been to Jamaica and back, but he won't respond to my emails, and I have a lot of questions about all of this. I would not listen to any solar salesperson if I were you. They are deceptive self serving liars.

Damages during installation

This company sucks. The contractor they used caused a pipe to fall through my bathroom ceiling and cracked the tile in my bathroom floor. I have repeatedly called and always promised a supervisor would get in touch with me. This has been going on for 3 years and has never been resolved. I’m still waiting for a supervisor to call me back. I am filing a claim against the company. This is ridiculous.

Panels don’t work

I had the panels put on in December of 2024. They have never produced any solar energy. I’ve called Palmetto multiple times and they acknowledge that I need a technician to go out but they can’t seem to get me a tech. Now I am paying the monthly solar panel charge plus my electric bill. They can’t give me a time line of when this will be fixed. I DON’T ADVISE USING THIS COMPANY!!!

Horrible Company

We live in Texas. Last year a salesperson from Palmetto in collaboration with Tesla came to our house and talked about a plan to install solar panels on our roof. The plan was to lease our roof, the installation will be done and we will pay the monthly cost for the power that the panels will generate. Also note that we entered into a PPA with Palmetto/Lightreach. First nightmare - Bad installation. The wiring was messed up with inadequate wires for the power/panels Second nightmare - The salesperson who sold us the plan quit and did not enter information properly. Third nightmare - So called "project manager" Michaela was bad in addressing and helping out Fourth - We got charged for the "power" even before the panels were functioning. Finally the panels were claimed to be functioning. The Tesla app shows that ~ 1035 kWH of power was claimed to be generated by the panel in Feb 2025. ;while there was still power drawn from the grid ~ 400 kWH as well. From our bill for same month last year and the year before we used 350 to 400 kWH of power. If we did generate over 1000 kWH of power, why are we still using from the grid a similar amount that we used last year same time? We are getting bills from our regular utility provider for the power as well. No one from Palmetto or Lightreach is willing/able to help out. We have no clue what to do at this point.

Worst

I’m in a difficult situation right now. I recently sold my house and purchased new clothes, but I just found out that the title company called to inform me that the solar panel company has placed a lien on the property. We've called several times, but I still haven’t received payment for my home. The title company is holding onto the funds because of the lien, and the lawyers and title company have not been responsive to our calls; they only send emails. I’m feeling very frustrated.

Palmetto is a nightmare

The consulation, the design, the install all great no issues. The company that financed Palmetto/Lightreach is a nightmare to deal with. I have had nothing but issues, and each time I have called they will "escalate the situation" but then nothing happens. I call again ask to speak to a supervisor 1st time they're not available, all in a meeting, 2nd time, they're not available they all left for the day, 3rd time they're not available all in training..... and so on and so on. Today I got a name of a person that is suppossed to be handling my transition as we just sold our house, but I can not talk to him, He doesn't have a phone, or an email, or anyway of communicating with the outside world. The company that did my install and did my design and explained everything, Demand company, absolutely great.... their finance company that they partner with is literally the worst. So good luck if using them, and you actually need anything more than paying your bill.

Barbara Williams | Canton, OH | 12/24/2024

Absolutely no customer service

Once Palmetto made the sale and installed the solar, they dropped us from all service. Our system stopped generating electricity and they could care less. We have made three appointments for them to come from Pittsburgh to diagnose repairs and they have been no-shows all three times. This is a case of let’s make the sale and then forget about them. Do not use this company ever.

Palmetto solar not Closing permits/not finishing Installation

Palmetto opened permits for installation, but never bothered to close them. System installed in May 2024, permits pending and will expire in 150 days. Sales rep. Kyle Will doesn’t bother to answer at all. Installation was done in Palm Beach County in Florida. I will file a complaint with the county and they will be dealing with my attorney. All, stay away!!!

JJ | Runaway Bay , TX | 10/09/2024

Less than pleased

Hopefully the design and consultant "team" gets your system right the first time, because they will not - WILL NOT - add panels to your system when it under-produces. They don't care of you're paying for the system and an electricity bill on top of that - when I was faced with this issue, I was basically told it was my fault and the system should have been changed during the design phase. Now, if I were a solar expert, which I obviously am not, number one - I would have designed the system myself, and number two, it would have been designed to produce MORE energy than I use!!! Is that not the purpose of solar in the first place? Extremely disappointed in their customer service and the company as a whole. I will be contacting the installers directly... as they said panels could very easily be added to the system. They must know something Palmetto does not.

THIS COMPANY WILL S A JOKE. After one of having the panels they stop working . It’s been 2full months now and my panels are not fixed. No one ever called me to let me know it’s not working. When I found out it wasn’t working I had to cal them multiple times to get some to come out and look at my panels. After a month of me calling almost every day. Now they say they sent the part to fix my panels. I still have not seen the part. I have to call again to see where the part is. This company just lies to their customers. I m about to call the Bbb. I’m one very unhappy customer.

Excellent installation!

My solar system was installed today and I commend panel crew; Jon, Frank, Patrick, Dave and electrician Jake for the excellent work they did with the installation. They were very courteous and explained things very well. They kept a clean and safe work area and worked well with each other. Also, hats off to sales guy Mason for explaining everything and fielding my questions.

Great Job by Palmetto - Rep; scheduler; installer

We cannot be more pleased with the entire process of getting solar panels installed on our home. From the first meeting with Mason Pfiefer, our Palmetto rep, the entire process went smoothly and better than we could have ever hoped for. Mason is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional about solar energy/panels, answering every question or concern we had as well as taking care of the entire process from start to finish. I would recommend Palmetto to anyone thinking about having solar panels installed on their home. Palmetto and our rep, Mason Pfiefer, are the BEST!!!

A Year In Review w/Mason at Palmetto Solar

If you are considering going solar, consider Palmetto. And more specifically Mason Pfeifer as your salesman. We just had our one year review meeting with Mason, and are more than pleased with our decision to add solar panels to our home. We did buy the system outright, but they also have lease options. Not only did we received a large tax credit last year, we have also avoided a 25% DLC rate increase; and we saved well over $1,785 this past year!! Throughout the past year, Mason has consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise, as our Palmetto solar panel salesman. From the initial consultation to the installation, Mason provided clear details, and made sure we understood what to expect. He even brought us lunch!!! His knowledge of the product and services offered by Palmetto is impressive. He is dedicated to customer satisfaction, and his commitment to transparency and integrity made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. We highly recommend Mason and Palmetto Solar to anyone considering making the switch to solar. We are grateful for his assistance throughout this journey. Thank you Mason!!

Issues with there commitment/ promises

There sales team made below promises which are not implemented. 1. 10% discount on monthly bill for enrollment in the auto-ACH payment. 2. $1250 incentives to cut few trees. I also received an email offering $15 discount on monthly bill for enrollment in the auto-ACH payment from their new billing company Concord Servicing, LLC (Concord). When I made a call to the customer care team to confirm, they responded that $15 also not applied in my bill. I reached out to all three customer care team. One company is directing me to another company without resolving the issue which is pending around one and half month. Instead of providing any tentative deadline to resolve the issue, they are sending invoice of full bill. I don't know what is the reason of doing such discrimination with me!

Roger Mejia | Cape Coral, FL | 06/02/2024

service

my solar system stop producing energy for three months and I only got a notification saying that they have identified an issue with my solar energy system and are attempting to resolve remotely but they did not do anything to fix it or contact me to help me with this issue. after 3 months getting high electrical bill I contacted them and they confirmed that my system was not producing any anergy. I do not understand why they just did not care about my issues and let me find it out for myself. not acceptable.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE

My only regret is not doing it sooner. I was not educated in Solar energy and Mason our rep walked me thru everything and explained the process and how it worked so that I could understand. We started the process at the end of 2023 and the system was installed quickly and efficiently. We were able to turn on our system in January of 2024 and the first month was super cloudy and we didn't produce much ( thankyou PA winters) but Feb , March and April so far we have produced well over what we use. We did buy a system larger than we needed but we did that on purpose and if you can afford the initial cost then I definitely recommend going that route. Like I said my only regret is not doing it sooner.

Great Product and Great Service

Palmetto Solar “Palmetto are Rock Stars! They were great and finished well before the planned dates.” 1 2 3 4 5 Palmetto met with me via virtual meeting. Will Dennis was honest and up front about the entire process. He answered all my questions quickly and with documents to back his information. Once I took pictures and a plan was set up for the designation of the panels, the process began. Brandon Chambers was my contact, and he did a great job keeping me up with the process at each completion point. The install happened quickly, and the team of installers were professional, and quick. The entire process took about 4 hours. The lead installer walked me through the process and showed me the equipment that would be used which was fantastic. After the install was completed, I was told the next step was my utility company changing my meter, possibly within 30 days. Well 5 days later a new meter was in. Within 1 week Mr. Chambers called me to walk through the process of turning the panels on. It was so simple and 3 weeks sooner then the projected date. Mr. Chambers also walked me through the application registering so I could see my new investment at work. I was producing almost 2 times my use immediately. Amazing. Know I am checking it every day to see how much I am saving. Even on cloudy days it produces. I did the math, and this system will pay for itself in less than 7 years. I wanted to do this about 5 years ago and wish I had taken the leap. My house has a higher sale value, and I will only pay the customer charge from PECO, maybe not even that. Since, I joined "Time of Use" rates and hope to actually make some money from this. I would recommend to everyone that has sunlight on top of your property. Palmetto was the very professional and caring about my thoughts and opinions. I was worried at one point and Mr. Chambers called me to discuss my worry and put everything to ease. Very glad I did it and you will too, energy costs are so high with no end in sight.

Support is non existent

The first year after having my solar panels installed everything was great until they stop producing energy. To get them to come to the house cost $600 which they gladly took and then installed a new fuse which proceeded to blow within a day. I am now on day 19 with producing solar and they said they would send me a new inverter on May 1 which they never sent and now they have changed the date to May 6 but then after that they won’t install it or even contact you for five days, which means it could be another 5 to 15 days before I get anything fixed if I get anything fixed ever

Scott Skarupa | Pittsburgh, PA | 03/23/2024

Instant gratification

We first looked into solar panels in 2011, but we felt the technology was just not there and the price was just too high so now I’m more than a decade later we find that the panels were much more reasonable financing favorable but more importantly we had technology that was cost-effective. A close friend of ours recommended Mason Pfeifer from Palmetto Solar. They recently had panels installed and they were completely satisfied. We were using btw 1000kwh-1200kwh per month. Since our panels were install on 11/23, we not use 350-450kwh per month. Our bill now is a quarter if not less on average, plus some months we receive a credit that gets deposited into our bank account. Mason Pfeifer has excellent customer service skills and is well knowledgeable about this field, answering all our questions. Palmetto got us financing with great rates. My only regret is that we didn’t do this sooner.

I had my panels set up through Palmetto with Mason P. Install crew was very professional and efficient. After a full year of production wellI actually produced 10% more than we thought we would. Highly recommend this company!"

From start to finish we were well informed along the way by Palmetto's solar energy consultant, Mason Pfeifer. When the panels were installed the installers were very informative also.

Roof Leak after installation of solar panals.

Developed a roof leak. Went into the attic and video recorded the leak. Looks like a screw missed the truss. Crew came to my home five days later. I showed them the video, but they never went into the attic. Told them the leak was coming into the upstairs bathroom. Showed them the window to the bathroom on the second floor of the house, also showed them where there exhausts fan exited as a second reference point. Finally, I showed them in the video, that a foot away was a vent pipe they could use to help locate the leak. Thirty minutes later they retuned with a video, telling me the leak was actually the vent pipe and they applied silicone all around it to stop the leak. Two weeks later, we had more heavy rain, I still had a leak in the same spot. This time I contacted a local roofing company. They came out found the leak and repaired it. They also took pictures and video of the "repair" Palmetto allegedly had done. For starters, they went to a vent pipe five five feet away from the bathroom, the pipe was the vent for the kitchen, they did not go to the vent pipe in line with the bathroom window like I told them. So Palmetto was not even in the correct area, so they fixed nothing. Some roof leak investigation, They go to the wrong area, and fixed nothing. Now I am getting a $350.00 bill for a "Roof Leak Investigation". I have tried numerous times by calling on the phone and emails to get an answer on how a company can bill for something that was not even done correctly. They keep telling me they will have someone contact me, but that never happens. So I filed a complaint with the BBB, (they too don't offer much help), and I filed a complaint with NC Attorney Generals Office Consumer Protection and I am hoping they will help. me with this harassment of a bill for work not preformed. I have a total repair bill of over $600.00 thanks to their negligence and failure to properly find and correct the problem, which I gladly paid the other contractors because they did the job right.

They suck

The system they installed doesn't meet up to the promises that were made to me. I'm waiting six weeks for a response to my problems with the system not paying for itself it will end up costing me more with solar than without. absolutely no savings.

Poor management and skills

SUCH A POOR company with very poor management and groups of experience people. Palmetto used to sub out every single work and their customer care is terrible. I had my system up for about 3 months before all 11 panels went down due to burnt micro inverters. Even their sub-technician said they used bad micro inverters- not NEW Enphase inverters- Figured. I now have been waiting for 6 months and EVERY single person I have been in contact with in my case have either been FIRED or no longer with the company. 6 months of calling, emailing, waiting and even crying on the phone yet my issues still have not been resolved. I dont know about Mr.CEO, Chris Kemper who has so much "titles" and "achievements" on your profile but I surely know you don't even know what is going on with your CUSTOMER "CARE" team and your management. I used to be FOND OF Palmetto but now extremely disappointed and feel like being treater very poorly due to your team's lack of management and technical skills

DC System

I met with the Palmetto folks in Florida and they were friendly, nice and pretty knowledgeable. We have a new situation here in Florida where our home insurance providers do not want to cover solar panels so they use the fact that you net meter to cancel coverage. This drives many off us to need a DC system with batteries to use the energy most efficiently. Palmetto looked at me like it was an outlandish concept, they have no idea how to install a solar system with a battery. As a result I feel they deserve a single star.

Refuses to timely repair my system

On or about March 23 my solar panel system stopped working. I called Palmetto Solar LLC to inform them of the interruption of service. They advised me to go through the reset process manually at the homeowner level and they would get back to me in 72 hours. They did not respond. I called back at the end of 72 hours and they advised the system was still not working. They apparently internally escalated it to a resolution tech and advised they would get back to me within 3-5 business days. They never called. At the end of 5 business days I called Palmetto again. They advised they need to send someone out to evaluate and fix the problem on site. They would advise via e-mail as to the status. I received and email from an entirely different company called Pronto365 who advised they had to contract an authorized tech to come out to my property to fix the problem. A tech finally showed up 3 weeks later on or about 4/14. Tech advised unable to fix the problem and left. I have had no response from Palmetto Solar as to the problem, resolution or timing. I called on or about 4/24 to inquire as to the status. They have no response. I e-mailed tech support to document and copied the CEO. No response. All of this from installation to the output of the panels, panels themselves and all related work is under warranty for the next 25 years. I need my warranted solar panel system up and running immediately. No resolution or response to my warranty issue as of 4/24/2023

Palmetto will ignore your service request for over half a year

Palmetto services an energy generation / solar panel lease I have. I highly encourage anyone who is doing a lease style agreement, even if your contract provider is not Palmetto, check beforehand to make sure Palmetto is not the company doing the actual solar panel install and maintenance for your solar agreement provider. I have had a very simple work order that I have been trying to get progress on, and yet for more than half a year, Palmetto has chosen to ignore my case and not do a thing to move it along - not even yet providing a quote for the simple work I need done. Half a year. I have followed up with them many times via email and phone - I never get a meaningful response, and they never respond back later when they say they will with actual resolution steps. Their installers also will also damage your siding, and won't tell you about it or attempt to fix it. You'll get to find out later on your own as you look at your siding near where the equipment is installed, that they've drilled mistake/unnecessary holes in it, and didn't fill them back in. Do yourself a favor, and avoid these clowns - they are not worth the headaches you'll have if you ever need to get service on your system.

LIARS AND CROOKS

Installed in dec. of 21,it is now march of 23 and my solor pannels for the last 5 days my system says critical system ALERT. The critical system alert says we detecteda critical issue with your system performance and we are working to restore service. I called the company to see what the statis was,and to my surprise the jerk on the other end of the line didn't know what I was talking about. He had me do some things on my pannel on the side of my house,he directed me,didn't fix anything. So he said he could write up a ticket for a technition out,but I would have to pay for them to come out and fix the system. couldn't tell me how much though would have to see what the problem was. So guess what palmettos warrenty on there part of the system was only good for a year,$35,000.00 system and they only back it up for a year. 25 years on the pannels because that is not them, PALMETTO IS THE WORST SOLOR COMPANY OUT THERE THEY WILL RIPPPP YOU OFF IN A HEARTBEAT,THE ONLY PERSON THAT CAME TO MY HOUSE WAS THE SALESMAN, A REP WOULD COME OUT TO TALK TO ME AFTER I INSTALLED THEM FOR $350.00 DO NOT BUY FROM THEM,DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF IN A SECOND. Quick installation, great customer service.

I went with Palmetto after interviewing 4 solar companies and getting 3 quotes for a purchased solar syatem. Their price per kw was better than the rest and they also had the best interest rate. I was initially worried as I had never heard of them before but decided to take a chance and go for it, and I'm glad I did. From conversation, to roof mapping, to installation then turning the system on was about 2 months I believe, with the slowest part being related to the utility company. There were a couple things I needed to talk to customer service about and I was never on hold for more than a minute or two and always had my questions answered cleary within 5 minutes. I'm loving this company and since ultities have risen considerably my system is paying itself back quicker than expected. Additionally I'm in the process of getting two of my friends referred so they can be energy independent as well.

Great experience

We have had a great experience so far with Lauren and the Palmetto team! They provided all of the information and details in an informative and none pushy way. Lauren has been available for any questions that we had, and response time is great! The installation team was fast, efficient and kind. Our panels are now up and running and we look forward to an energy efficient home!
