Our journey with NM Solar company hit some bumps in the road early on until they brought on a new manager. Al Pohl made a tremendous difference for the company because he was a communicator who listened to concerns and reacted to those concerns. His follow up was timely and productive and he is personable. What a difference a good contentious manager makes!! I also want to give a huge compliment to his installers. The group of 3 led by Kevin (I believe) showed up early in the morning and worked into the very late afternoon until the installation was completed. They were friendly, and very professional. Many kudos to them!! Thanks to all of you!

I was very disappointed with NMSG. The initial sales person was excellent, but he was let go before the initial installation was completed. After that the project manager for our install was very disappointing. I had to constant call, text, or email to keep things going, and the delays actually cost us our New Mexico tax benefit which was very upsetting. It was so bad that I had to tell them that the system wasn't ready to turn on because the panels were physically disconnected from the invertor. Only then did they fix it. The whole experience was terrible. In addition, we had asked for a battery to be installed with the original installation, but they didn't know how to make that happen, so I had to complete the installation before I could request a battery to be installed. Now I have been waiting for months with ZERO feedback on progress without asking over and over and over again. The only reason I even went back to them for the battery is because I only want one company to be responsible for the entire system. I do not recommend NMSG.

Our over all experience was very good. We had one small issue getting in contact with someone to re-establish the monitoring of our solar out put with Solar Edge. Once a technician was scheduled, the repair was made and the monitoring system is working again.

I was completely satisfied UNTIL I needed warranty work. My inverter failed on 31 December 2022. As of 07 March 2023, I still have no communication from my panels. I have sent numerous emails, on-line service requests, texts and phone messages. After 3 weeks of trying, I received one response and 5 days later the tech arrived. New parts were ordered and for a couple of weeks I heard nothing. I sent the technician text inquiring as to the status. I was told the parts had been received and would be installed "next week". That was two weeks ago. Now my inquiries are all going unanswered. My opinion is ..... the service is great until you pay your money, then they ghost you. I would not recommend NM Solar Group to anyone considering solar. Their Customer Service is abysmal!

I went into a contract for 2 homes with this Company in September 2022. My home finally completed a month ago. THE SECOND home I have a son with medical issues and paid for a battery to be installed at the other home. So that if there was a shut down with Power he would be able to run his life support systems. As of this date 02/26/2023 I have been delayed many times with excuses about Battery installers, then 2 months ago I was told they would install the battery system at the Middle of January. I was given a date and nobody showed up and I was not called by anyone with NM SOLAR. I HAD TO CALL THEM! Per this conversation I was hit with another excuse of " The battery was leaking". So 2 weeks ago or so I reached out to them and was told the Regional Manager would call me and I have not heard back yet. Either they are not truthful or have money issues with the Battery suppliers. BUY THE WAY I have been paying the finance company for 3. months now without a completed job. Today at 11:00 am the power went out at my sons house and I hope it comes back on before his equipment batteries run completely out. I do not recommend this company !

We were convinced that solar was the way to go! We are very happy and satisfied with the way Yvette Graham handled everything from start to finish!! Way to go nm solar!

I went into a contract with NM Solar to get solar panels. On June 14, 2022, The representative, Luis Luna, made a joke during the presentation that Tesla would take your order and you would have to wait 9 months. Then AFTER I sign up for a $67,123.80 loan, that my battery was on back order and my system would be incomplete. I put my feet in the ground, and stated adimatelly that I sis not want to pay for an incomplete system. Juan Luna came up with a solution, which was to cover the payments for the loan until my battery was installed and my system was completely running. I have spent the last month trying to get a hold of Juan Luna, and he is ghosting me. I have sent 3 emails and 2 sets of text messages to the project manager. I just do not understand why Juan Luna would jeopardize $67,123.80 over a timely $250.47 payment.

I needed assistance filling out application for state tax credits. Actually the company should complete these forms for the customer since they are very technical in nature-not at all user friendly. My system was completed by mid December of 2021 and I wanted the tax credits for 2021. They did not answer their phones, return emails or any way respond to my repeated requests over a 7 month period. I finally got some assistance from them after reaching out to a regional manager in another part of the state. They sent me an incomplete application form and I submitted it to the state after I was assured by the company the omitted information was not relevant to my situation. The state sent the forms back for completion and I struggled through them for one full day to gather and complete the information. I submitted the completed forms after filing for an extension on my state income tax. I got a letter back from the state in September telling me the credits had all been given out and I was, in essence out of luck. Contrary to what the solar company told me the credits could not be "rolled over" to the next year. I sent another email to NM Solar Group telling them I had lost all state tax credits due to their lack of responsiveness in completing the necessary forms. That amounted to about a $1700 tax credit. I asked them how they were going make that up to me and I have never received a response-such is typical of this company. Apparently they are disorganized and poorly managed if my experience is indicative of their work. They did do a good job on installation after many delays but their follow-up is totally nonexistent.

I want to express how happy I am with the patience, demonstration, and explanation of products Mrs. Ofelia Cossio gave me. I have a business and she came at the time when I am the most busiest. Her with the help of her superiors were able to get me a solar system for my home. I'm happy that I got to do business with NM Solar Group, and, am awaiting for the next steps coming to be as easy, smooth as possible bcs I am really looking forward to establishing a long lasting business relationship with this company.

From the get go NEW MEXICO SOLAR GROUP representative Agustin Garcia, helped us understand the benefits and process to install our PV solar system. The design, installation and commissioning was fast and efficient, NM Solar took care of everything from design permits and put in service. We are completely satisfied and highly recommend NM Solar Group!

Highly recommendable!! Pablo and Robert are very informative they explain the solar process and your electric bill in detail to understand everything. Day or night they are there through the whole process making sure everything is going smooth even when we couldn’t be there. Pablo and Robert are very trustworthy, dependable and caring. Every person that came to install or monitor were very polite and explained what they needed to do or they showed you. Thank you for everything!

Everything and everyone in this company has been amazing! Victor, my original salesman was awesome and is still available anytime I've had a question. He was very transparent from the beginning about the time-line and potential hiccups in tbe process, so when we did have an issue with pnm, I was ready. My system is on and running great and I know that NM Solar is available if I need anything else! Thanks NM Solar Group!

Once they have completed the initial install you might as well forget they exist. I called them 3 times about a roof leak, Carlene Ortiz promised to get back to me and never did. My kitchen ceiling is ruined. I also called about installing a consumption meter and they never responded to my request. I am sorry I went with this company.

I'll try to be brief but anyone reading this should avoid New Mexico Solar Grup. The installation took close to three months, I was paying on the loan for the solar panels and PNM at the same time. After the installation my electricity use skyrocketed. We're frustrated and we have spoken to New Mexico Solar Grup and PNM they point the finger at each other but no one is willing to come to check to see if there's a problem. I wonder if I have to go to curt to have the system removed and have New Mexico Solar Grup pay back the loan.

We've had our solar panels for a couple of years now. From the moment the sales reps rang our doorbell to now, service has been outstanding. Even now, 2 years later, if we have questions we call and ask and the service has not changed. We are planning on adding additional panels in the near future with NM Solar Group. Highly recommended.

So that's what we did. The process began when the NM Solar Group salesman Jesus Alvarez visited for the first time, over 1 yr before the sale while we monitored our electrical usage of our new home. He returned often checking on us and was very personable and professional, low pressure, never rushing us. Meanwhile we interviewed at least 3 other companies doing business in this area. NM Solar offered the best all around package of product/service/warrantee.

We have had a terrible experience with this company. Many promises made. Our monthly bill has been over $200. Plus the payment. Only two people in this household 1500 sq ft home. This has been going on for months.

We signed on December 23 2019, today March 8th we still await interconnection! When we signed we were told to expect install end of January and be up and running middle of February. We were installed the 2nd Monday of January and was excited about the fast progress! Since then, we have had a ready to work, Solar Panel system sitting idle on our roof! NMSolar says fault is with PNM, PNM blames NMSolar. I blame bureaucracy of a messed up approval and permitting system! You can permit and build a small home in this time frame! If not for the damage it would leave on my roof and holes in the wall I would have system removed! Frustrated with waiting!

We shopped around for a solar electric system and eventually chose NM Solar group. They were not the cheapest vendor, but we felt they offered the best product, warranty, and overall value. We have been extremely pleased. The sales and installation staff were professional and knowledgeable. The system was installed on time and has been working very well. Our bills have been at the monthly minimum for El Paso Electric the last several months, and we have been recommending them to anyone interested in solar. An overall good investment.

I recommend nm solar group. Lorenzo lujan got me out of a bad contract with meraki. I got more solar for a cheaper price. NM solar even paid the cancellation fee with meraki. good customer service.

I chose NM solar through word of mouth. Everyone I spoke to that went through NM solar had nothing bad to say about the company.

My wife and I are totally happy with the solar installation project done by NM Solar Group. Mark in sales, Jessica the project manager and every other person we encountered were polite, competent, reliable regarding appointments and pleasant to deal with. They installed the most up-to-date equipment available. They handled all of the various inspectors professionally so that things moved forward quickly. Like I stated, we are very pleased.

I made the decision to go solar after much research and my electric costs going up $150 per month from when I first moved here 18 months ago. When Ryan from NM Solar Group called me for an appointment, I was ready, I had done my research and was prepared to be shrewd due to my research in my negotiations with Ryan. As it turned out, Ryan's presentation convinced me in 1 hour to go solar, everything he told me coupled with a great price for an installed system and an extremely accurate installation schedule made going solar one of the easiest home improvement project I have ever been involved with, a testament to the professionalism and skill of NM Solar Group. Everything Ryan told me from installation, PNM requirements and both electrical and PNM inspections were done exactly as was stated in my contract. Perfect timing allowed me to start saving immediately after the final inspection resulting in a electric bill after one month of use of $8 of PNM fees only and a $0.00 electric bill, the system produced ALL my electricity from the moment it went active! In addition to Ryan, Sonia Rigel, the project manager and Russel and his crew were outstanding during this whole project.

We installed solar panels in December 2017. From the salesman Alfred Pohl to the installers, to Bryan Beck, the professionalism, workmanship and personal care exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled, we got a tax break, our bill went from over $200 to $7.75 and we are doing our part to save our mother earth. What could be better than that. If you are thinking of installing solar, comtact New Mexico Solar. We got bids from several companies and NM Solar is the very best.

I had NM Solar install a system different than what they had been installing. I also only had them install half of the system at a time so I could better afford it. They did a great job installing both phases of my system. It has been working great. This is a great company to work with.

We had been considering adding solar for several months but were less than impressed with the big companies showing up at our door pushing the "Free" solar installations. After talking with a couple of the local vendors we decided on NMSG and it has proven to be a great choice. Throughout the entire process the NMSG team has been great. Ryan and Mason did a great job of explaining the process and taking care of all the paperwork with both PNM and our HOA. They installation crew was fantastic! They were on time both days and had a plan to get things done. They were also very flexible in routing the conduit and box placements to make for a smooth, clean installation. Our system has been up and running for a couple of months now and has been running great. NMSG has continued to answer our random questions and I have no doubt if we ever do have any issues they will be there to support us. NM Solar Group is a small (but growing) local business and we highly recommend them to anyone considering a solar system.

Ryan was great to work with. He kept us informed throughout the installation process from start to finish. Kept us up to date with every detail of the project. Very honest and up front and will answer all you questions. I highly recommend NM Solar Group.

We were drawn to NM Solar group because they are a local company in a sea of large national companies flooding Albuquerque in the recent solar boom. We were rewarded greatly! Ryan, the owner was extremely knowledgeable about the industry and great to work with. He worked with us personally, and was always a text message away when we had questions. NM Solar installed a 5.1kw system at a very reasonable price. The system installed was affordable and is functioning as spec'd. We had issues with the city and PNM waiting to get the system interconnected, and Ryan tracked down the issue personally, and was able to straighten everything out. Everything promised during the sales pitch was delivered, and we have no complaints. Would definitely recommend NM Solar Group!
