Very responsive, responsible and reliable company

We worked with Chris out of the Corona office, he's very knowledgeable, very responsive, and did a great job. We had our hiccup's with the city, but he and his company followed through, and got things done as efficiently as possible given the hoops they had to jump through. We had a very good experience and recommend them highly.

We were on the fence for almost a year or more regarding solar. We searched and searched for the right company, we finally narrowed it down to three... But after talking to Chris in the Corona office, we were absolutely sure we had chosen the correct company and Chris didn't prove us wrong! Absolutely wonderful customer service.. Seamless installation... Easy to stay in touch with... No problem getting something told to us "over and over" Chris always maintained kindness and calmness until he was sure we understood everything! MYNT SOLAR comes highly recommend from us!!!!

I was very pleased with Mynt Solar. Their pricing was fair and simple to understand. They don't try to push you into a decision like some other solar companies I have inquired with. Their communication throughout the whole process (city permitting, installation and registering with SCE) was great. If I ever had a question, Chris would get right back to me and had an answer. I recommend Mynt Solar to anyone who is considering solar.

Great job, great price

I had a great experience with Mynt Solar. I shopped around and compared companies and prices. I finally decided on Mynt and they were enjoyable to work with. No pushy sales tactics, they were up front with all the costs associated with it, and had good communication throughout. Getting my own loan also saved a bunch and they were able to work with me while I did that process. I waited a full year to write the review to see how the panels did compared to what they claimed, and I'm not disappointed. I would recommend Mynt to anyone looking for Solar.

I didn’t hate it.

I had Nate over and he made me believe he would do a better job than the other two companies. I liked his proposal and we went forward. The installers did a job that I would classify as %90 perfect. The only negative thing was that one installer spray painted the conduit on the side of my house and over sprayed gray on my brown stucco. Mynt made it right. I never saw that installer again. Now Cody came out and fixed everything, that dude was great. Colors all match and the install looks clean. I’m happy with how they had a problem and they fixed a problem in a professional, friendly, spare no expense type of an attitude until I was pleased with the outcome. That’s more impressive than the holy grail of a perfect experience to me.

Amazing communication and service!

Solar panels can be a daunting purchase because most of us have zero to little knowledge of how any of it works or how much it can cost. Mynt takes most of those worries completely away. Step by step Nate walked me through what type of system would work best, what ALL of the costs would be, and how to use the energy tax credits offered by the state and federal government. What initially got me to go with Mynt was their guarantee THAT THE SYSTEM THEY INSTALL WILL PRODUCE WHAT IS QUOTED IN THE CONTRACT. Every solar system produces a certain amount of power throughout the year. Mynt uses your energy bills from the previous year to determine how much electricity you typically use and how large of a system you will need. Within 24 hours of calling Mynt, I had a quote that included a satellite image of my home and the efficacy of what a solar system would produce for my specific location and roof configuration. Mynt makes the whole process simple and their communication is amazing. If you're anything like me it is REALLY difficult to trust anyone these days and big-ticket purchases compound that difficulty a lot. Finding a trustworthy company that stands behind their product and isn't looking to nickel and dime you is almost like winning the lottery. During the approval process I had to go through with my city (Mynt makes it easy), the original solar configuration was completely approved and it was installed exactly how the plans were submitted. The city, after giving full approval, rescinded that approval and required extra equipment be installed on my home with an additional cost of about $3,000. Nate called me to explain what had happened to our approval and I had the sinking gut feeling that he was going to ask me to pony up the cost. To my surprise he let me know right away that the extra cost was not something they felt right passing on to me and that they would cover it completely. Mynt came in with the lowest bid of the companies I had come out so I knew this extra cost was pretty rough. I was already really impressed with how smooth communication and setup had been but this really put them over the top. Yes, my solar system is working great. I haven't had it for more than a year yet but I think it is definitely going to produce as promised. Because of COVID my wife and I are working from home and the kids are home all day as well. With nearly zero attempts at conserving energy last month our bill was $1.58! It is usually near $150-$175 for late spring. Honestly, I found Mynt online and read through all of their reviews. In my opinion, they match what their other customers are saying about them and then some.

Best Solar Experience I could have asked for.

I worked with Chris Perry from Mynt Solar. It was the easiest and smoothest transition to Solar I could have asked for. Chris was extremely professional. He literally did all of the work and explained everything thoroughly. The only thing I had to do was provide my Edison bill and he did the rest. After listening to Chris and seeing the well written proposal, transitioning to solar was an easy decision to make. I highly recommend Mynt Solar!

His team did a great job installing the panels quickly and quietly Half the time I didn't even know they were on my roof very Professional and polite staff. Quick, Responsive, Professional & Competative

I have nothing but great praise for Mynt Solar. These guys were the only solar company I contacted who got back to me with a quote in a timely manner, who did exactly what they said they would do and who I could trust for our solar needs. Chris was our sales rep and he explained everything perfectly and put us at ease. Their prices were competitive, and their service was quick. From start to finish we had panels on our roof in about a 5 weeks. That was from our first visit to installation. My friend signed his contract with another company and is still waiting and my brother has regretted not signing with Mynt because the company he went with is lagging. Use these guys.

Competitive price, professional service and installation.

We had quotes from 5 different solar installers for a 6 KW system, each had the same inverter with different solar panels and one had a unique installation. After reviewing the quotes and speaking with each rep., we decided to go with Mynt Solar because of the price and service. Chris is very professional, answered all our questions on the material, installation, warranty, warranty process. The installation agreement was clear and written in plain english. Outstanding Company!

After looking at solar for several years and countless estimates, we found MYNT SOLAR and right away we knew that we found a truly amazing company. From the initial phone calls with Chris Perry, to his staff, we were educated with a courteous, informative and very patient hands on approach to the layout, design, recommendations and installation of our solar panels and electrical system. We knew that we were getting not only value but pride in ownership as well. We have wanted to do our part for the environment for several years and now we are. It’s a beautiful sight to see when I come home and see the solar panels on the roof. It puts a smile on my face knowing they are backed by a rock solid company and rock solid people who really do have the clients best interest at heart!

When I finally got him to listen to Chris, he was pleasantly surprised and felt educated and not like we were being pitched. We had hard facts that helped us make our decision. Outstanding Experience

MYNT SOLAR We had been talking about going solar for years, but were unsure about buying vs. leasing. We read articles, brochures, spoke with sales people, and still had questions that were not being answered in a way that connected with us. We had heard about Mynt Solar from our neighborhood Facebook page. A recommendation from a neighbor was what made us inquire about meeting with the company owner, Chris Perry. We had viewed a YouTube video where he and a prospective solar customer had a conversation about the pros and cons of buying vs. leasing solar power. Shortly thereafter, we asked Chris to meet with us in our home. Chris was friendly, warm, and non-intimidating as he explained how a rooftop solar panel system could benefit our household. He was able to use his computer to quickly draft a system for our home and show it to us at the table. His calculations used our actual SCE energy numbers from prior months and showed us the monthly savings going forward with solar. It finally all made sense. Chris Perry didn't approach us with a sales pitch, he sat at our dining room table to "teach" us about the benefits of a residential solar panel system. His style is lowkey, no pressure, and it makes sense. This is what worked for us. A few days after meeting with Chris we made the decision to purchase our solar panel system.  The timeline was a dream come true. Our solar panels were installed on June 8, 2019, we passed the city inspection within days after that, and we were officially connected to SCE on June 17, 2019 --- 9 days after install. Just WOW! Mynt showed up when they said they would. They then walked us through every aspect of what was going to happen. They kept in touch by contacting us every Monday until after we were up and running.

Awesome Company

We were in a peculiar situation. We sold a home with solar panels recently installed, under the premise that we could leave the panels on our old home and then remove them have them reinstalled on our newly built home. Unfortunately, during our building process the solar company that had installed our panels went under with no warning. Not completely surprising - we had had a terrible experience with them and their customer service after installation was awful. I called around to different solar companies asking if any of them would remove and reinstall our system. Some companies wouldn't do this since they were not the initial company who installed them. Other companies quoted me an insane amount of money to do this. I contacted Brandon at Mynt Solar and explained our situation to him. He was very empathetic and eager for us to have a good experience with solar. He and Nate worked with us to get our system removed and up and running at our new location. I was very impressed with the responsiveness and ease of working with Mynt Solar - a complete 180 from our last company. They answered our questions and kept us informed of what was going on. They also charged us a very competitive price that no one else could beat. We really appreciate them helping us out in our unique situation and wish we could've used them with the initial install. We highly recommend Mynt Solar.

Mynt Solar has been very responsive. They worked with me to make sure that I had the best possible solution and were able to offer financing options for the solar system and other upgrades. I am glad I went with them instead of the other companies for which I had obtained quotes. I would strongly recommend them.

Great Job... Would use again...

I waited a year before writing this as I "hate" when people review an item when only having it for a week :-) I investigated 5 companies over the Fall of 2017, and after multiple bids, ended up going with Mynt. They had just started and I did call ~5 of their prior customers who all had good things to say. I was nervous as first as they had just started the year before. Communication was great, and installation was quick and on time. Price was exactly as quoted, and no "surprises". They helped with the paperwork for the tax/rebates etc. I had one issue with the inverter not working for less than a few hours, I called and they responded within 20 minutes, and had me back up an running (it was an update for the inverter, and it shut it off during the update). I would definitely use Mynt again, and after having my system for 15 months now I feel this is an honest review.
