Can't say enough good things about Lumina
I chose Lumina after years of trying to find a reliable solar installer that could really educate me on the county/state/federal taxes, grants, solar credits sales, loans, energy company coordination/inspection, etc. Their representative walked me thru it all and continues to this day to support any questions I have after a year of having my panels in. I would have done it years ago if I had been able to find a solar company that was down to earth and supportive enough to trust with this large purchase. Can't say enough good things about Lumina.

I recently had a 10 kW residential rooftop solar system installed and the experience with the team was excellent. They explained the whole process clearly, handled permits, and completed the installation smoothly. The crew was professional and kept everything clean. The system has been running great and I’m already seeing a noticeable reduction in my electricity bills. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone considering switching to solar.

Solar System Installed!
First, I am a very detailed minded and technical person. I did a lot of research on solar systems before even getting to the quote process. Once I was ready I started getting quotes on solar systems for my house. The prices ranged by quite a large amount, the technology used also varied a good bit, a lot were focused on Tesla systems which I personally did not want as I think the tech is older and not as good as some of the newer technology being offered. So what made me go with Lumina... I would say first and foremost, the initial experience, their willingness to work "with" me and not against me, they listened to what I was looking for and accommodated my requests for newer or different components. A lot of places were locked into selling you on one system, wouldn't allow changes etc. Second, I worked with Gabriel and he was amazing in helping to get all my "tech" questions answered. If there is one thing I appreciate, it's being able to get into the details with someone and really see if they know what they are talking about. He was always fast to respond, even late at night or even some weekends. We did have to change a few things from the original quote after inspection. I couldn't get all the panels I thought I could, but it was just a limit of my house, Lumina worked with me to help me through all of that though. Overall, great support and communication, Thank You Gabriel!!! Last, I will say, be ready for this process to take some time, from the time I first talked to Lumina to the time I got PTO from my power company to turn things on, it was at least 5 months, granted this was at a time when the credits were ending at the end of 2025 and work rolled over into 2026. But the actual install was done in 1 day which was crazy fast! But they did a great job from what I can tell :). Then there was the waiting for inspections and the power company had to install a new meter.. just normal stuff everyone has to deal with that takes time, not Lumina's fault. This isn't a negative or anything just a heads up to people.. So to wrap things up, 100% would recommend working with Lumina, great sales people, great tech's, great support!! Keep up the good work!

Lumina Solar shines!
I had been thinking about getting solar panels for years. In 2025 I learned that the federal tax credit for solar panels was ending, so I decided to attend a Solar Brokers of Maryland dinner presentation and ended up working with Lumina Solar, via Solar Brokers, to get panels. Lumina Solar handled all of the administrative details (permission, filing for tax breaks and other incentives, as well as planning and installing the solar panels. The team at Lumina Solar was very professional, responsive, and easy to work with. Federal tax breaks are ending as of 2026, but if you're still interested in getting solar panels, Solar Brokers of Maryland and Lumina Solar are a great starting point.

Amazing Service with a product to match
Before getting Solar, I was worried about how much of a chore it might be to get - but when I found Lumina, they handled EVERYTHING. The breakdown I got before accepting was comprehensive and laid out what I could expect over the next 30 years. The vast improvements in the tech, my options for panel layout and the savings I was looking at were IMMENSE. I'm especially grateful for the help of my rep Kurt Bradshaw, he was always helpful, knowledgeable and able to address all my problems and clarify all my questions. -If you're looking for Solar, these guys have it down to a SCIENCE.

My wife and I decided we should look into purchasing solar panels for our home. After interviewing different companies, we decided to move forward with Lumina. Our sales person, Ryan Cook, was a pleasure to work with and explained the process every step of the way. He was always available to answer our questions no matter how complex or simple the question. Every step of the process was clearly explained to us by Ryan and Lumina. The process played out exactly as it was explained so there were no surprises. The Lumina team that installed our system were great and worked hard and efficiently to make the installation smooth. The County inspections went exactly as described Ryan and occurred even faster than we expected. We are already saving money on electricity and with rising rates, we expect our saving will continue to grow. Everytime I look at my electric bill I just smile knowing that my wife and I made a great choice, picked a great company with Lumina, and received great customer service from Ryan Cook.

Great customer service
Very happy with my experience with Lumina Solar. My representative, Gabriel Shabtai, clearly explained all the options when I was first exploring getting a solar system installed, and I never felt pressured to sign up. Once I did, everyone involved with my project kept me updated as to timelines and what to expect. There were many occasions when I had questions and I felt very comfortable reaching out to Gabriel numerous times. Although I mostly emailed my questions, Gabriel took the time to call me to make sure I fully understood. I've had my system running for a month and haven't had any issues, but feel confident that if something would arise it would be handled promptly. I would definitely recommend Lumina Solar.

Outstanding service
Our experience with Lumina Solar has been outstanding from the first introductory meeting to the time we started solar production. Our Sales Representative, Courtney, made a thorough presentation and was very knowledgeable about price savings calculations. She also kept us informed during the 90 day approval process. Installation took one day and went without issues. We are very happy with Lumina and have recommended the Company to our friends.
