Happy for my Solar Panels

I had been looking for 2 years before I installed my solar panels. I never felt pressured or pushed into buying something right now, just for the sale. James took time and answered my questions, making me feel like a person, not just a sale. I worked with James for almost 18 months, getting my financials in order and ready to install. Never once did I feel pressured that I had to do it right now or the good price would not be there any longer. I do wish that the monitoring system came with full access for me to monitor full system without paying extra, not just overall system. I would like to be able to see what my system is doing, down to individual panel. I have had my system for almost 2 months, and I love it.

Single Family Home Roof Top Install

I couldn't be happier with my project. Joey Eccleston guided my project and was fantastic. The staff at the office were responsive and knowledgeable. On the day of install I had bit of nervousness but I found the team to be true experts. They anticipated possible future needs. I was impressed with their efficiency. Aesthetically, the system looks great and it has worked flawlessly.

Our experience with Intermountain Wind and Solar was exemplary from start to finish. They accommodated our every wish and concern. Their install went without a hitch and easily passed inspection by the city. Their installers were there on time and jumped right into the job. Best home install job I've ever had by anyone for anything. Right now our meter shows that we have sent twice as much electricity back to the grid than we have used. When we crank up the AC in the summer it will likely even out. Our electricity bills are a thrill to receive now.

We love solar

IW&S at all levels in their staffing is great to work with, delivering as promised. Our sales representative, Cade Blatter,was very helpful; the installation crew was efficient and respectful of our home; and the administrative staff, which included the design folks, were very helpful. The system performs wonderfully, and the Owners Manual contained all the forms and information that was necessary for our tax energy rebate filing.

My sales person was James Marshall who was truly fabulous! He gave me an in depth and easy to understand sales presentation with no pressure what so ever. He saw the project through to completion which was done to the highest of standards. My project manager Peggy was a great help as well at every step of the way. Very Customer Oriented

IWS has been very conscientious in their efforts to meet our needs and desires. They have responded quickly to questions and (where possible) requests. Their sales representative, Brian, made several visits to our home and spent hours on our roof making measurements and performing sun-exposure analysis. After installation, they provided extensive information about the system they installed and about how to apply for federal and state rebates (including providing photos and diagrams to submit with the state application). Their instruction crew was respectful; however, they did err in the location of one group of panels (different from the designed location), but they returned within a few days and moved those panels to the correct location. They also needed a couple of trips to correctly install the wireless monitor, but that was accomplished successfully. When it became clear that we had understood some options and associated costs differently than they intended to convey, they were quick to discount the cost of a more costly option so that we didn't feel misled. Their total cost was very competitive with a number of vendors/installers that I also researched, and so far, the system seems to be working well.

Delivered as promised, expectations exceeded

Intermountain Wind and Solar (IWS) was responsive, transparent, and prompt. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would, and for the price they said they would do it. What more can you ask for from a contractor.

My Residential Install

I had been looking at solar for the past 3 years, and never won rocky mountain's lottery, but still wanted to do a solar array. I contacted IMW&S and not only did they have the best price around, but they also connected me with a bank that got me financed on a HELOC. IMW&S handled 100% of the install, paperwork etc. I don't think the process could have gone any better. Another thing that I really like is their real time monitoring of all the systems they install, if they ever see a problem they find out what it is and fix it. I am very pleased with my solar array and the service IMW&S provided me.

Professional Service

I spent time with four different companies that installed solar PV panels and found Intermountain to provide the most comprehensive and professional service from the initial contact through the installation. WE are very pleased with how smoothly everything flowed from the time we made the final contract. Their price was competitive and we were pleased with the extra work they did to interface with our electric generator.

Solar Power install

This was the best price and best service from the sales person to the installers to the people in the office. Everyone seemed to do their part. It is to soon to tell how well the system will work (less than a month in the winter so far) I wanted to go for 90% of my power bill, but settled on about a 75% production rate. Time will tell!

One of the Best Decisions I Ever Made

Intermountain Wind & Solar (IWS) was definitely the right choice. No high pressure...just the facts and follow through from the salesman. IWS took care of everything--permits, inspections, and expert installation. I just paid the very reasonable and competitive bill. Communication from the office kept me advised of the project status. They accommodated my installation of aluminum shingles prior to the solar system installation and took care not to damage the new shingles. A team of six arrived at 0830 on the scheduled day and they all went about their assignments professionally. One of the electricians had 20 years of experience. His partner went into the attic to run the wires from a solar junction box under the panels through the roof and to the conduit through the soffit directly above the power meter on the side of the house. A solar system breaker box was installed next to the power meter complete with labels...very professional. Our 20-panel system was accurately installed on the roof, attached through the shingles with stand-off bolts screwed directly into rafters and carefully sealed. The panels were carefully aligned for maximum eye appeal and minimal hindrance of snow sliding off panel surfaces. The Enphase Envoy Communication Gateway was plugged into my Internet and a power receptacle. I was instructed on how to use it to see the power production of my system and to obtain reports as desired online. The work was all completed by the end of the day with the work area left clean. The power company installed the net meter the very next day. It was great to see the meter showing that I was producing more power than I was receiving from the power company. The salesman came a few days after the installation to review the owner's manual with me and assure that I was satisfied. After he left, a crew of three quality assurance inspectors from IWS arrived to double check all the details of the installation. Amazing! I could not be more pleased and highly recommend IWS to anyone desiring a professional, quality, economical solar system. I especially enjoy minimal power bills because the power I produce reduces the power I need to purchase from the power company.

Professional, Knowledgeable and Fast!

Intermountain W&S was definitely the right choice for our solar system. We had quotes from two other companies, and while prices were similar all around initially, IWS's bulk purchase approach helped get our system about 15% less than the other companies. We also liked that they had done installations for our local city facilities. The order was placed, and everything from there was smooth sailing. IWS kept us informed of the schedule, and showed up on time. The entire project was completed in one day, and IWS worked with the city to quickly get the project approved for use. In fact, the longest part of the process was waiting for Rocky Mountain Power to come out and install the net meter and approve us for use! I've recommended IWS to several friends, and will definitely use them again if we ever do another project.

The school could not have had a better experience working with a company than it did working with Intermountain Wind and Solar. Jack Matsen was especially helpful when things went wrong that were outside of his control. WSD had roofing repairs, for instance, that delayed the process of installation and required additional patience and steps on the part of Intermountain. These were accomplished with professionalism and expedited at every step.

Justin was very helpful and professional. The whole process was easier than I imagined it could be with the IWS team handling all of the paperwork and performing the installation in about 5 hours. The system has been seamless since installation and we have a healthy kilowatt hour credit balance that should more than cover the winter months of lower production

Totally Happy with Intermountain Wind and Solar

Totally happy with Intermountain Wind and Solar. They did what they said they would do and more. Very professional, and prompt. System installed in May 2014, and Power Bill since has be $9.00 and a few cents a month. In Aug. we purchased a Nissan Leif full electric can and are driving green, charging the car from the Sun. December now and we have over a month's credit with the Power Company doing Net-Metering.

Great Experience

Intermountain Wind and Solar did an excellent job installing our system from start to finish. They took care of all the necessary filings and paperwork with the entities involved. They did all the leg work that would have been a hassle if we had tried to do it ourselves. Our home is a very old home, and we had to have some electrical upgrades in order to have the system installed. Intermountain planned for this, and when they arrived to do the work they were able to get the system upgraded, installed, and ready for production in a single day. Our Sales person, Justin, was great to work with. He listened to what we wanted and provided a system that was perfect for our desires. He kept in touch with us throughout the process. We feel the price for the system was more than competitive and have not had any regrets. We have had the system for a little over a year and it is working great. This is an excellent company with which to work.
