Greene Tech did a 9.9 kW roof system for us. Ian was very patient with all of our questions prior to signing the contract. In fact, I learned a huge amount about solar from him. After signing the contract he was equally helpful with installation questions. Throughout the process, Ian Huddleston was accessible and thorough. He designed a few options for a system that would meet my needs. He even took the time to give me some useful advice on some solutions that would not have included his services! The system is operational and working great. There have been no problems, and Ian has continued to answer my post-installation questions quickly. I won't hesitate to hire Greene Tech in the future or to recommend it. This region is fortunate to have this company.

Great experience

A great company to work with. They install the solar panels ran the wire through an existing geothermal line and installed a hook up for our generator. They did a very nice job and we're always responsive. It took us a year to decide if we were going to do this and the whole time they were willing to answer questions and support us in our decision making process.

Organic farming gone solar!

I highly recommend Greene Tech Renewable Energy. I chose to go solar because I'm an environmental person and we need to get off of fossil fuels. Best solar company around!

Greene Tech Renewable Energy came right out and walked around with us and did a very detailed look at what we wanted. Three other companies did not even show up and one called back two weeks later. Ian came out and talked and explain the whole system. Install was very quick and very interesting. Ian really knows his stuff and can talk tech in detail or just give you the over all. With the system we had installed, Ian set it up to be able to monitor it from the internet and monitor each panel. We can also add on to the system if we would like to later on. If we do, I will call on Ian and Greene Tech Renewable Energy to increase my output of solar energy. Call them you will not regret it, you will love the work they do.

After the completion of the installment of my solar system, I have to state that the job Ian did was outstanding. It was neat and clean, and very professional. The entire solar installation process was very satisfactory from the initial contact with accurate information to the contract completion in a very timely manner. The installation was very neat and there was absolutely no problem with the inspections. The start up went off without a hitch and the system is performing as advertised and expected.

greene tech accolades

We are anxiously awaiting spring and summer when we most surely won't need the electricity for our water heater. On sunny days it works great, but this is winter. The electrical grid is producing well, also.

You won’t find better anywhere

I was looking to go solar for over a year. In fact in 2013 I signed a contract with Lightwave Solar who breached our contract. Boy am I glad that Lightwave Solar breached our contract too. In early 2014 I contacted Ian Huddleston at Greene Tech Renewable Energy. Ian is on of a very few people in any field that believes in and delivers customer service. Ian came onto my property. The first thing I was impressed with was how and where Ian located my system on my property. He found a location that produces 92% efficiency yearly. Living in the Mountains that is GREAT! But what was better is that had Lightwave solar placed the unit, it would have been in a very poor location for efficiency. This in and of itself showed me that Ian was not just selling systems, he was and is concerned about the efficiency and production of the systems he sells and installs. Ian’s integrity and customer service should be enough to sell anyone, but Ian also sells a great product at modest and reasonable prices. Ian is not out to make a living on the sale of one system. He gave me the best price as I shopped in 2014. Ian is still there too. If I have any questions or concerns, no matter what, he always returns my calls and or answers the phone. Bottom line; Go Right, Go Greene Tech when going Solar!

GTRE has been our go-to contractor for all of our commercial solar power installations since 2011. They have always delivered in all phases of the process from sizing the systems, to professional installation, to walking us through how the systems work and operate. I am sure GTRE would get great reviews from us for their customer service on warranty work, but we've not had to call them for any warranty work because all our installations are running great! For what they specialize in, there is no other contractor in our area that can compete with GTRE..
