REVOKED License, 7 Months of Lies, Still Broken
I signed a solar contract with Green Home Systems on October 17th. It is now May 6th — nearly 7 months later — and I still do not have a fully functioning system. What follows is a factual, documented account of every broken promise, no-show, and lie this company has told me. Before you hire them, read this: Their website advertises CSLB License #1054222. I looked it up. According to the California Contractors State License Board's own website, that license is REVOKED. "This license is revoked and not able to contract at this time." They are advertising a revoked license to consumers. The license number actually on my contract is #1137897, which is valid — but the fact that they publicly display a revoked license number should tell you everything you need to know about this company. On Their "Support": Green Home Systems does not have a support team. They have one person named "Edward" who, based on my experience, has no authority or ability to actually resolve anything. He has lied to me — by my count — no fewer than 15 times. Either promising something he didn't deliver, going silent, changing the story, or simply not showing up. Every single person I spoke to at this company — Robbie, Jason, Edward — told me things that turned out to be false. The Pattern: They schedule. They reschedule. They no-show. Then they schedule again. They do not respond to calls or texts. They do not follow up. They do not take ownership. They drag customers along indefinitely hoping you'll give up. I haven't. I have 7 months of text messages, emails, and documentation. I am actively filing complaints with the CSLB (License #1137897), the San Diego County DA's Consumer Protection Unit, and the California Attorney General's Office. Do not hire this company. Whatever price they quoted you, the real cost — in time, stress, and a system that doesn't work - is far higher.

Byer Beware
I purchased a solar system 5 years ago and the inverters have stopped producing for the second time. I have called every number listed and every number is no longer in service.

Solar panels
I can not possibly express the extent of the negative experience I have had with Green Home Systems. Our solar panels did NOT work properly from day one. GHS acknowledged the problem and promised to fix it . They DID NOT. I contacted the BBB. They acknowledged the problem, but again did nothing. They totally ignore my phone calls We hired an attorney whom they also ignored. We are currently stuck with a $20,000 bill to tear down the system and reinstall it properly. RUN, don’t walk away from this company

Inadequate customer service
GHS customer service is bad. They have no techicians available in western PA. Same way with solar edge. Had a power surge July 2023 took over 18 months to get problem corrected. Backup battery interface still glitches

Keep them away from your money!!!
The sales pitch is good, but then they disappear and you are left to deal with the disaster! They damaged my roof, and then they failed to pay outstanding invoices for the mitigation process to recover from water damage caused by a storm. The cheap fix that was guaranteed for five years failed by the first winter, and when trying to contact them, there are no valid phone numbers anymore. Now I have a subcontractor that didn't get paid harassing me for payment of multiple invoices! There have been two failed pieces of equipment that I had to repair myself because they aren't reachable, no valid numbers to call! You'll only get support for parts under warranty from the manufacturer, but you'll need to follow multiple steps and be somewhat handy to get your system operational again. If you try getting another vendor, it is very pricey for them to take over the support, and it's out of your pocket. Stay away from this people!!!

How they totally ruined my home
When they installed the system on my roof, they missed all the rafters and cause a leak through my roof. Asked for help in fixing and repairing my damaged house. They completely ignored me and no response from them. The WORST outfit to do business with, wouldn’t recommend them to solar an outhouse, DON’T buy from them
Ben | Deer Park, TX | 05/23/2025
Do not use this installer or solar edge
Once they get paid, they stop responding. The system is completely dead. Please DO NOT use I've open cases with the manufacturers, and they keep saying to call the installer, but the installer cannot be reached. They only respond to new leads.

Non payment to Subcontracted Work
Review Title: Untrustworthy Contractor - Non-Payment Issue with Green Home Systems (GHS) I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Green Home Systems (GHS). As a subcontractor, I completed all tasks as agreed, which included obtaining permits, executing the installation, and passing inspections with the local municipality. Everything was performed professionally and on schedule. However, after several months, GHS has failed to make the promised payment for the work completed. I have reached out multiple times to resolve this issue, but my efforts have been met with silence and unfulfilled promises. This lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable for a company that claims to value its partnerships. I strongly advise anyone considering working with Green Home Systems to exercise caution. Their refusal to honor financial obligations has caused significant disruptions to my business. I hope this review serves as a warning to others to avoid the stress and frustration I have endured.

Green Home Systems is a complete joke
If you are reading my comments, and the comments of others who have left similar comments, take heed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY SOLAR NEEDS! I had my system installed in 2019. Since then I have had 3 occurrences of system failures. It isn't the failures that are the problem. Like anything else, things do break down. The problem stems from the piss poor customer service and timeliness of getting a technician to come and troubleshoot problems. On my 1st system failure, it was my inverter that failed. This was in 2020. I can't recall the actual month of failure. After contacting customer service, I was given the runaround about technician availability because they were at other locations installing new systems. Come to find out at that time, there was only one technician close to me that serviced an extremely large area in Missouri, Illinois and other states. A new inverter was ordered and had been delivered to my address in a timely manner as I recall. But it took the technician over 2 months to come and replace the inverter. On my 2nd system failure, my system broke down in July of 2022 and stopped producing solar power. I won't go into the details of that breakdown, but it to 9 months before my system was back up and running. The problem was so simple that 1 connecter had burned out. My son was the one that actually seen the burned connection in my system. Green Home Systems customer service finally authorized me to get a local electrician to come and look at my system. It took them around 10 minutes to replace that connector and my system was working again. AFTER 9 MONTHS OF WAITING. The company that fixed it however required me to pay for the service call myself because they had been stiffed in past jobs sub-contracting for GHS. I had to request reimbursement under my warranty from GHS. So, I had no solar production for 9 months because of a problem that took 10 minutes to fix. Now, here we are today, and another problem came up where my system seems to be producing less solar energy than it should. I paid the Solar Edge Monitoring Company $99 to conduct a diagnostic check. They found a discrepancy in my system and referred me back to the installer to come look at and fix the discrepancy. I made my 1st contact to customer service on September 5, 2024. Here it is today, February 7, 2025. I have exchanged 31 emails to customer service, furnishing them with the diagnostic check results and recommendations from Solar Edge. Most of my emails to them are ignored. Every now and then I will get an apology response from one of the customer service representatives and that she will forward my email to someone up the chain. I could go on and on about my complaints about the Green Home System's Company. But I am sure as you have read this far that my recommendations would be to find another company to do business with. They do not honor their obligations to their customers who have spent many thousands of dollars for their products to fix/repair. It is such a disappointment to say the least. Again, go somewhere else to buy a solar system.

Make that ZERO stars! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!
A year and a half from contract signing until project completion! I was promised some rebates because of the delays but no one responds now. I've been paying my full electric bill and my solar loan payment now for 4 months. All I can say is RUN if these guys come calling!!!

Bait and Switch
I am a customer of Green Home Systems. If you are considering this company READ THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN! They installed panels on my home in 2023. My entire experience with them was absolutely garbage. I am posting this to protect the public from making the same mistake in placing trust in this awful company. They have pushy sales representatives that will tell you that the loan they will set you up with is transferrable to new owners if you were to ever sell your house (that is false, they set me up with a lender that did not allow assumptions/transfer). Project managers through the installation are non-existent(I went through 3 of them in 4 months for an install that was supposed to take 3-4 days). The installer pulled off my job due to non payment from previous installations with GHS. They finally returned to finish 2 weeks before being in breach of contract. And finally, when I brought my loan transfer issue to Green Home's attention, their CEO was the only individual that could do anything on my behalf. He did nothing and wouldn't return any of my calls. Noah Rotenberg is as rotten as his last name, and the entire Green Home Systems business model and sales pitch is a bait and switch. Steer clear and do not entertain their lies! If negative stars was an option, that would be my rating.

Hasn't paid installer and giving me the run around
First off, I was advised that the total process would take 3 months to get my solar panels installed. It took one year from when I signed the contract for my system to actually be up and running and it took over 6 months to actually get my panels installed. Since then they have not paid the installer and they are now going to place lien on my home even though GHS received their money from me. Poor communication throughout and I went through three different project managers. When I initially signed the contract, I did review this compan y's history and they had a good reading on BBB at that time but since then it has tanked, do not recommend

Worst Experience Ever
RUN AWAY!!! Do not use this company. We selected this company after another solar vendor did not deliver for us. After months of research we landed with them. I'm happy to see that the rating is now an F on this site, unfortunately for us it was still an A at the time of our agreement in Jan 2023. At first all seemed fine, they delivered the panels, had an installer get them on in March 2023. Then everything went wrong, they were not able to obtain the permission to operate (PTO) from our electric company because they have no idea how to pick up the phone. We called multiple times got the run around for months. We were told they would make all payments to our lender until the PTO was completed. We assumed this meant they would actually work on things as they were paying the bill. That was not the case. Finally I found the email of the CEO Barry, he put us in touch with his "top guy" Robbie Herbert. Robbie threatened us on multiple occasions for leaving negative reviews of their company. We obtained our PTO in March 2024 because I took the time to coordinate everything with our power company. This company was trying to claim it would cost an additional $10,000 to get a new line run to our house. The actual cost was $750. They are nothing but scammers. They still owe us $3,387.45 though I don't we will ever see that. As the latest email we received they are having "financial struggles"

A Dr. Jekyl & Mr. Hyde company
I had a rooftop solar system put in last summer (2023) by GHS. They were helpful & good to work with. A little slow on the actual installation but that was a subcontractor issue. System got up & running, they got paid in full. But later I had a problem & had some questions. I emailed and called everybody at GHS that I had dealt with, but no reply from anyone. On multiple occasions. Post-installation customer service appears to be non-existent. Also, it took 2 months & the threat of a lien for the subcontractor to get paid by GHS. I do not recommend this company.
J Diener | Philadelphia, PA | 05/14/2024
They do not pay their contractors
Since on-boarding with GHS (October 2023), they were fine with their delierables until they weren't. After only two installs, they became late on payments, which eventually led to > 45-days late. With every discussion regarding payment status, they continued with excuse after excuse. Now, they are > 60-days late and have become completely unresponsive. If you are a contractor, I suggest avoiding this company. They jump contractor to contractor - onboarding one, getting work out of them, not paying them, then jumping to a another one. Avoid them if you don't want to lose money and be frauded.

Don’t use this Company!!
I live in Arizona and purchased a solar system for my home from Green Home Systems. It worked ok but didn’t produce like I was promised. It stopped working in September of 2023 and to this date (April 2024) they have NOT fixed it!! They finally sent a tech in December of 2023 who diagnosed the problem to be a bad Solaredge converter. GHS told me “its just a fuse inside the inverter.” What a joke these people are! Nobody has been sent to change this “fuse” and after several phone calls to GHS they said to me, “Do you know anyone who can change the “fuse?” How unprofessional is that!! It is GHS warranty and they told me if I worked on it it would void their warranty! But they do absolutely NOTHING to repair my system! So as of now I am out of pocket paying for a system that doesn’t work AND a monthly electric bill. So warning to all DONT USE GREEN HOME SYSTEMS!!!
Joe Phillips | Orinda, CA | 04/10/2024
Can I give zero stars?
We're still not done. After almost 2 years of bungling, GHS has repeatedly dropped the ball. Cue a revolving door of PMs, each starting from scratch on our project to sloppy installation, multiple (fired or otherwise) subcontractors, each doing something different. GHS has zero idea how to navigate PGE and pass regulation or inspection. And the best part, when I reached out to their managing director, he told me I should be "thanking him". I cannot warn any prospective buyer enough. Stay away at all costs.

Terrible business ethics!
In a CONTRACT, they have signed and my husband has signed, it states they owe us $868. Part of that amount is a rebate for going solar (in writing in a contract signed by both parties), and the other part of that amount is a payment owed to us for their clerical error in entering our address (payment is also in a signed contract), resulting in excessive power bills from the utilities company due to switching to solar. They have owed us this money for SIX MONTHS going on SEVEN with constant communication in attempts to collect. And constantly being told the check will be mailed the next day checks are sent out or that it was already mailed (has never showed up). Robbie Herbert is an absolute joke, sarcastic, passive aggressive, condescending but worst of all, a LIAR. I sent a demand letter for payment, 7 business days ago demanding payment in 2 weeks. Which has been acknowledged, forwarded to the company lawyer, and then ignored. I have filed a complaint with the BCA, will now be looking at filing a bad business complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, state of California, state of Nevada (state the work was completed in), and any other avenue I can. We are now looking at pursuing this in the court of law in 7 more business days. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!! They have terrible business ethics.
Scammy Scammerson | Missoula, MT | 03/22/2024
THEY ARE A SCAM
GHS is a scam. They do not pay their contractors and they lie to their customers. Once they get paid the loan they are done with everyone and the scam is on. They are impossible to reach, and then give you the runaround if they respond at all. If you're a homeowner your house will have a lien on it and you'll be saddled with a huge loan. If you are a contractor any job you do for them will be a total loss.

This is what you should know before going solar
Ask specific questions and get specific answers. Then will know if you must have batteries in order to have power when grid is down, and other such things. Do not believe ratings or accreditation on homepage for example like BBB (Better Business Bureau) accredited. Instead go and look. When looking at BBB uncheck your location to get full search. Then put in name of company. For me it was “Green Home Systems Inc” (but whoever you are checking), if prompted to look for unaccredited also, check it. Once you find the business click on go to their home page to be sure it is the same company your checking on. For example, below is what I saw when I did at on BBB site. https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/sherman-oaks/profile/solar-energy-contractors/green-home-systems-inc-1216-1272476 Anyone you ever do business with, anyone! you need to do the same thing, don’t just go by high star rating. With GHS wound up they were not accredited and had a BBB F rating (they have since removed BBB accredited from their site). Check all accreditations and if they refer to an accreditation that is not accurate, or no longer part of homepage in their review, don’t trust it might even get hold of them on it. Before signing a contract (especially if 20 or pages or more) don't just have them read through it with you, or even read it yourself. Print it off and let a lawyer read it before signing, will be worth the money (wish I had), because what you “think” parts of it mean and what it might really mean may not be the same. Get specific start and completion date so it doesn't drag out for months. Also, make sure it is in writing that any property damage will be fixed. If told approximately of how much you will save on power bill, get that in writing too, if not don’t believe them. If things like a underground gas line to house is cut, don’t trust subcontractor to fix. Inform contractor that you want your power company to come out and repair it, at their cost(wish I had). That way no future regrets and worries about if it will last, or hassle with contractor over it. Make sure you do not leave tools or anything laying around where subcontractor works, and check before they leave to be sure they don’t “accidentally” take your stuff. Will save hassle with contractor, to get back or reimbursed. Check to be sure all power lines in breaker box are installed properly and tightened properly so will not come loose after subcontractor leaves. Remember the person doing installation is the subcontractor, the person selling the product is the contractor and (at least where I come) is responsible for correcting any problems that involve the subcontractor. Be sure that is clearly stated in contract (again get a lawyer) With solar don’t be afraid to contact who owns or monitors solar panels, for me was Enfin (a great company, who will work with you), where you got loan from, and any government office that will be processing for state and federal tax rebates, payouts or whatever. Also look up solar help sites like Solar Review, Solar Neighbors United https://www.solarunitedneighbors.org/ . Also in my state Illinois Solar Education Project https://illinoissolar.org/ , and anyone else you can That is the one smart thing I did, just should of done before not after. With any business or job you are contracting out follow these steps don’t be like me and wish you had

Deceptive and won't finish install 1+ years
The sales team miss represented the monthly financed amount based on tax returns being applied that the amount couldn't possibly be acquired within the 18-month window unless you were making at least 6 figures. They hired a contractor that couldn't legally install in Iowa and when that installer was about to be caught and lose their license, they wouldn't finish install. This was after raising the purchase price $20k by saying they couldn't find anyone to do the install for the price agreed on. Then it's taken over a year and the install still isn't done because the first team did it incorrectly and the new team hasn't done the repair for over 6 months (winter time frame for most of that). The company has not called me back in over 6 months of trying to call them and 3 different project managers as they all keep quitting including my sales person. I opened a BBB claim and the company kept lying until BBB closed the claim. I also had to start paying on the loan before they finished since it took so long and they said they would refund me each month and after 2 months they stopped and luckily i got the bank to pause the loan. This company is a nightmare right now and I would suggest having a lawyer on hand just in case.

Money hungry and Corrupt
I was fooled by the reviews too. I was fooled by the sales person who ultimately lied left and right just to make a sale. I was fooled by the project manager who would just give me lip service and then not contact me for months. Green Home Systems seemed fine until I realize just how corrupt the company is and how each person you deal with does not actually care about you. They will just scam you out of your money like they did to me. Each person I got in contact with just gave me lip service to get me to trust them and then over charged me for panels that under produce (its taking more power to have them on then it is giving me any actual solar power), lied about how many trees i needed to cut down (they knew I had to cut down at least 20 trees, half of which on my neighbors property, and NEVER TOLD ME!), and after taking forever to install (with another company not even themselves!) they just ignored me when I had wiring issues. The project manager has not contacted me for MONTHS. Each person claiming to help me ends up ghosting me altogether. It is clear they do not care about their customers and continue to just put panels on anything that they can get away with in order to make money. At some point they used to be good but now that they are hurting for money they DO NOT CARe abouT ANYTHING BUT MAKING MONEY! STAY AWAY!! If you don't believe look at the most recent reviews from them and check out their F rating on the Better Business Bureau.

No customer service
My system has been down since August of 2023 and its February of 2024 and my system is still down. When I first contacted them about my problem they went online and found the inverter was bad. So a few weeks later the inverter shows up but nobody to install it. also I have roof damage and need the panels taken off to repair my roof but customer support is useless.

BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY
This company is based in California and sells project throughout the United States. Once the project is sold they subcontract out the labor to contractors that are located near the customer. Once the job is completed, they do not pay the subcontractor even though they receive the funding from the customer and/or customer's funding source. They will seem knowledgeable, accessible and responsive up front, but once they get paid - they ghost everyone else that was part of the process. DO NOT BUY SOLAR FROM THIS COMPANY. Read all of the reviews online, the bad ones are probably the most accurate reviews out there. We worked for them for about 8 months, they still owe several thousand dollars for jobs completed months ago and will no longer answer phone calls. Every project manager that we had established relationships, is no longer with the company - they will give you a list of excuses for anything that you question or seek truth on. DO NOT BUY SOLAR FROM THIS COMPANY.

The worst company I've ever dealt with
Well first off they forgot about me. I waited about 2 weeks for panels that were supposed to be shipped. When I finally got in touch with them it took them awhile to even find my order. Then it seemed like they scrambled to get the panels here. So I checked the order and the panels were smaller than originally ordered. When I finally got ahold of them again they tried to convince me that it was correct and if I was gonna send them back it was gonna cost about 9000 bucks for a restocking fee. The panels were not even American made like they were supposed to be. Then after all that everything sat still. They couldn't find an installer. My project sat so long that we had to finance all over again. Finally they got installed and I watched my bill for the entire sunny summer. Yes the solar helped but not like they said it would. According to them I would be selling extra power to my utility company. Hasn't happened yet. I told them those panels weren't right but they fail at getting back to me.

Almost non-existent customer service!!
Absolutely terrible customer service. It's hard to get anyone to return a call. I live in a remote location, but was told by the salesperson that would be no problem. The installation took 5 months, with a very inexperienced installer, and we had to figure a lot of things out for ourselves. The system still did not work after installation, but after several weeks we got it working. It worked for 3 ½ mos, then quit and I haven't been able to get it working again for about 2 months. No response from the inverter company or the solar company, except one guy from customer service who emails me every couple of weeks and says he's sorry he missed me. When I call the number he gives me I just get an answering service. I've been trying to get them to take the system back and cancel my loan because they obviously don't have adequate customer service to support me, but I can't even get a response about that. I've left multiple phone messages and emails. I quit paying on the loan because the system has not worked properly for almost 5 months, which affects my credit rating.

Good, Bad, and Ugly
Entirety of my solar purchasing experience had its ups and downs, but all in all, it remained positive. Also, company has changed ownership/name as it was green solar when I purchased panels. Green Home Systems: Seem to have a higher turnover for contacts. I had several. Plan for getting panels to property was a bust and needed some assistance on my part. That said, quality product, customer service was great, and timelines were acceptable. Installer: Sucked on almost every level…no other way about it. Only reason this is here is because I’m sure they were lowest bidder, and Green Home Systems (or Green Solar at the time) chose them SRECs: This was more associated with Carbon Management Solutions Group. Took a while for check, and was bumped from initial estimate of value by almost 50% (not quite, but close)

Since going solar I have enjoyed multiple $10 electric bills for all but 2 bills in the summer, July and August, and even there the bills that use to be 300-400 were down to a little over $75. I also got the battery backup as part of my system and it allows for power even when my neighbors don't have it.

Bait and Switch - Hidden Clauses
Jason our sales rep told us we would not be using power most of the time because we would produce enough energy with our 28 panels and store the energy on our batteries. We signed our contract. I read the whole thing as I was initialing and signing on Docusign. When I did my final signature, it said I was done. They had an additional amendment to the contract that I didn't initial after I was "done". It said they wouldn't hook everything to the battery as Jason had stated. At night, only 20amp or less item would work off the battery. Anat our project manager was horrible at communicating what was going on. Now they having us talking to legal. I think they are just waiting us out. I think we will need to involve an attorney and bill them for that too. Now, lets see. They will post their little, sorry about that here is the number we never answer down below.

I had a solar installation project with Green Home Systems that began in May 2023, and I'm extremely disappointed with their service. As of now (October 16, 2023) the system is still not functioning. What's even more frustrating is that they have been impossible to reach via phone and email throughout the entire project. It's been an infuriating and unprofessional experience dealing with them. The project has gone on for so long now that we have an energy bill as well as a solar bill. I would not recommend this company to anyone considering going solar.

Do not use this company.
I purchased a solar system from Green Home Systems. All went well until it was time to do the actual install. I was told when the delivery of the supplies was to be and stayed home from work to ensure the system was put on a pad in back of my house for safety. I looked out the window at 7:00 am and the pallets of supplies was on the sidewalk blocking it and partially in the street. The delivery company didn't even bother to ring the doorbell. I contacted my project manager and sent her pictures. SHE called a moving company to move the supplies. She told me there was no issue with me paying the movers and she would get me a check ASAP for reimbursement. Months later and I am still waiting on my $800. Upon installation the inspector said the panels could not go on the roof per the plans since the plans lacked any type of fire egress on the roof. The inspector and the installers came up with a plan for alternative placement that was completely different than the plans called for, probably affecting system performance since the panels are not facing the correct directions now. After installation I applied to get registered to get my SRECs. I was told that I needed AS BUILT drawings to register and photos of all the panels installed on the roof, which I am still waiting for from GHS. The photos supplied by GHS also did not show all the panels. I cannot get pictures of one side of the house due to another house being there and I am an amputee and cannot climb on the roof to take the pictures. I have called GHS literally hundreds of times and they rarely answer the phone. My project manager ceased contact with me months ago after repeatedly promising to rectify the situation multiple times. If I do get lucky and someone answers the phone I am told it will be taken care of, they will get back to me, and no one ever does. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. God forbid something goes wrong with the system. Who do I call then? Avoid this company.

4 g card
I had my solar panels installed through this company or the company. They took over 4, I've called 30 or 40 times and nobody calls me back about upgrading my 3G card to 4G or 5G. Someone did call me from the company twice. And I've never heard from him again. And I've called them back numerous times, I've called 4or 5 different numbers, and nobody's called me back from customer service to technical assistance. Tell her I hear back from them if I ever do I will leave this review here.

BUYER BEWARE!!
Worst company I have ever dealt with on any project. I was told my installation would be done the first week of July. It's now September 22nd. I have been told no fewer than 5 times "your panels will be delivered next week" These people will lie to you with a smile on their face. I made a mistake and sent them 3G upfront. It's likely an expensive learning lesson. I have come to the conclusion the company is in financial trouble. I don't know what other issue could be causing this. All I can do is leave reviews all over the web and call bi-state area installers to spread the word on this company. At this point I believe I have been scammed but if any subcontractor finally arrives you can bet they will be signing a lean waiver.

BUYER BEWARE SCAM COMPANY
Buyer BEWARE of this SCAM company. They actively do the Bait & Switch for their ads. Even if they put it in writing that you will get a $1000.00 rebate check from their company, YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT THEY LIE. Also, do NOT click the button stating the installation is complete until you verify with your Power Company that you are connected to the grid. I was coerced into stating the install was done. This starts the countdown for starting your loan payments. After the 2 month grace period before the loan payments started, I am still NOT connected to my power grid. I made my 1st loan payment today and I literally have solar panels on my roof that are NOT connected to my energy grid. So now I have to pay a loan and an energy bill. I am actually dealing with the CEO Robby at this company. I am getting the run around, I am being told their proposals mean NOTHING. So if you are promised something in a proposal according to CEO Robby is means NOTHING. I have a text message from him that states their ads mean nothing and their proposals mean nothing. So before you agree the install is done, get your rebate check from them in your hands or you will never see it. Make sure your are connected to your power grid or DO NOT AGREE IT IS FULLY INSTALLED. MINE IS NOT 6 MONTHS LATER. Then CEO Robby said he would also give me $190.00 equal to 1 months loan payment for the inconvenience. And 2 months later NOTHING. And yes he is tyring to get out of paying me what he personnally promised me too, go figure. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING ANYONE AT THIS COMPANY SAYS OR PROMISES YOU. YOU WON'T GET FUNCTIONAL SOLAR AND YOU WON'T GET YOUR REBATES. THEY ARE VERY GOOD SCAM ARTISTS!!!!!

No contact after the sale.
I have repeatedly tried calling and all I get is a recording with no follow-up on their part. How do I get in contact with these people? No matter how good the product is, if you don't have customer service, it doesn't matter.

Worst customer service ever
Worse customer service ever! my system went down in April of this year. it took almost 10 weeks for them to fix and i had to fight to get someone on the phone. customer service is a voice mail that no one returns. i had to call the financing company that financed my solar to have someone from green home systems to contacted me after i threatened to stop paying. this is the second time my system went down. also, the owner contacted Yelp and had some of my reviews removed. i was updating via yelp because that's the only thing he cared about was the reviews. honestly... solar is a scam! the amount that's produced vs what you pay for them is not worth it at all! and by the time you pay them off they're outdated and only producing "80%" of the newly installed or so they say. its a pain to try and sell your home with solar. it doesn't increase the value of your home and the buyer has to assume payments of them if they want to buy the house. i was told by the company the lean can be temporary removed to sell then paid off. not true. and getting youre roof fixed is a nightmare. its just not worth it!
