After doing tons of research and getting quotes from 4 companies, I selected Goldin Solar based on the system specifications, competitive pricing and excellent communication. They exceeded my expectations during the entire process. The permit was obtained quickly and all the work performed promptly. The workers showed up on schedule, were polite and cleaned up after themselves. Just as important, the project manager kept me updated during the entire process. I received frequent emails indicating changes in the status and all my questions were quickly answered. The owner even jumped on the line once when I asked a particularly technical question. Having recently built a house, I have some experience dealing with contractors. This was the best contractor experience I've ever had in Miami. I highly recommend Goldin Solar for anyone interested in installing solar on their home.

Great team at Goldin Solar - the owner and salesman were very responsive, answered all my questions, and know what they're talking about. I was 100% confident in them from day 1 and since installation, everything has been running smoothly. I highly recommend using them. I have a colleague who cannot get Tesla home batteries for months because they didn't go with Goldin. I got them in three days.

Great experience for a 25kW install

Solar was always something that I had been interested in, but just was never the right time. Finally, everything came together, and I started research. After a year of research and getting quotes, GoldinSolar came across my radar. Their salesperson, Justin, came out completely prepared from the info I gave them, and put their best price on the table after the first meeting. (This was equal to or lower than what I got the others down to after MONTHS of negotiations...). After we "signed the deal", I was skeptical of how things would go after that (I'm just like that... I build data storage systems, so I'm used to dealing with highly technical projects that are extremely complex. Things just go wrong you can't plan for...). I'm happy to say that they did not disappoint me. My project manager, Solene, keep me in the loop during every step of the way. This isn't to say that there weren't any problems along the way. From my experience, there always are in anything technical. This is where you really learn how good a company is. Not from how they deal with success, but how they deal with problems. Solene was on top of it all, and guided me through how to help her in keeping the project moving forward. She was absolutely the "tip of the spear" in this project. The installation team in Orlando was just great. Cleaned up the site everyday (after all... I do live here...), and worked like crazy to get everything installed. Dalton (on-site management) keep me up-to-speed on how things were going every day. Evidently, 25kW is a pretty large system, so this was not a small feat. The panels look great, and my electrical system at the house is better than before the install. This is definitely going to add a TON of value to my house. They spec'd out the system with SolarEdge components, and I couldn't be happier. The system works exactly as I planned. As an added bonus, SolarEdge makes available their Application Programming Interface (API) allowing me to access MY DATA. Excellent Communication

We had been contemplating solar for several months. We met with several different companies before meeting Michael with Goldin Solar. He was easily the most relaxed and knowledgeable of the group. He gladly answered all of our questions, and he made us feel valued as customers. Michael also stayed in close contact throughout the initial phase. Upon signing the contract, we met our project coordinator, Misty. She picked up right where Michael left off, and she checked in almost daily to keep us abreast of progress. The physical install went off without a hitch, and the inspection was a breeze as well. It is an incredible feeling to see how much power our system is producing on a daily basis. We are planning to build a pool, and our new system will provide power for this new addition! The cost of traditional electric is going to continue to rise. Now is the time to jump into solar! We are thrilled to be a part of the Goldin Solar family!!

Making a transition to solar energy could have not been possible without the help of Goldin Solar Team. We recently got our solar system installed and so far is performing phenomenally. Also, we really enjoy the SolarEdge monitoring app because we can observe the system production and consumption metrics. Great Solar Team

I recently moved from Los Angles to Florida. In my LA Community there were solar panels on many houses but when I arrived in Florida I had to search to find any in my community. I called 5 Solar Contractors and was not impressed with any of the salesmen except for Goldin's Justin Joyal. He was extremely knowledgeable and never tried to pressure me to buy their system. We decided the next day to go with Goldin. They took care of the Building Permit, HOA request and the power company's requirements. The team arrived right on time and installed everything in one day. We had to wait a short time for the Building inspection which passed then wait for FPL to change the meter. Goldin turned on the system and we are making power. It was a painless process and I highly recommend Goldin for you Solar needs

Awesome experience

From the initial meeting with Liz Letzing, through the project implementation with Steve Goldman and the installation in our house, the whole experience was world class. True turn-key approach, ever aspect of the project was taken care of. We have just received our first bill from FPL and it was incredible to see we needed to pay 9 bucks!!!! Goldin Solar gave me the best options, price and answered all my questions during my search for an installation provider. Once I signed up. they completed all the paperworks, permits, installation etc. Now 8 months after installation everything looks very good. I would recommend to consider their expertise and service if you are planning to go for solar installation.

Goldin Solar from beginning to end was a pleasure to work with. We started looking for information about solar panels in July of 2019. We opted for a turn-key solar system rather than installing the system ourselves, so we started interviewing several companies and getting some quotes. After reviewing information from each and their monthly payments that we would have been making with a 10KW system plus installation, we decided to go with Goldin Solar. I didn’t like the 18% dealer fee that was added to the final price because we decided to finance the system since we couldn’t afford to pay the system in cash, literally lowering the federal tax incentive to only 12% when you do the math. We weren’t aware of that until we were speaking with Daren Goldin from Golden solar, who by the way is an awesome person to meet face-to-face. Goldin Solar was always there for us from the time we made the decision to the final inspection of the solar panels, and all the way until the system was officially turned on. Goldin Solar worked around our schedule. After we upgraded our electrical panel, Goldin Solar was there within a couple of days to start the installation. Before the solar panels were installed, the project manager noticed that the panels were going to use up more space than what was measured, so we had to move about four panels to the front of the house which we didn’t mind at all. The project manager worked with us and would explain everything that was happening, especially since they were making holes in the roof to mount the system. They were very careful on our roof and they made sure that each hole was sealed properly. There were also a couple of holes that were done in our Florida room ceiling while they were looking for the studs. Once I showed the project manager the holes, he promptly went and made sure that the holes were covered and that no other damage was made to our ceiling. After the installation was complete and the solar system was ready to be turned on, I received a call and was “walked” through the process on how to view the way the solar panels were working through the SolarEdge application. It was amazing how the solar system was working flawlessly, and we were very excited to start producing power. I would totally recommend Goldin Solar to anyone who asks. They were great from start to finish.

Knowledgable Sales and Good communication

We had a positive experience with Goldin. There was good communication throughout the process of installing our panels and Tesla power wall. Then they were great at working with us post install to make sure everything was functioning perfectly. I would recommend working with them for your install.

I shopped around for a long time before choosing solar, and priced multiple vendors. At the end of the day, Goldin provided the most efficient, most cost-effective solution for my home. The service from day 1 was great. They worked with the roofers, city permitters, and the installers to make sure everything was done properly and on time. They resolved any issues that arose, and kept in touch. The PM (Madeline) was very good about answering calls, replying to emails, and keep me up to date on the status on the job. It is a new system, but if it performs as well as Goldin has thus far, I look forward to a long, satisfied solar experience.

We completed our solar project with Goldin Solar not too long ago, excellent work by Steve and his whole team! About the Solar Solution: Our goal was to be able to power the house during a hurricane if FPL power goes down. After looking into generators, it was a clear decision for us to go with solar – an environmentally sustainable and economically sensible solution. After much research, Goldin Solar stood out as the best provider. They worked with us and designed our 18.2kw system with 56 panels, 2 SolarEdge inverters, and 2 Tesla Powerwall batteries. Something Special about Goldin Solar: A lot of times the sales pitch is the high point of a consumer experience. However, with Goldin Solar, it was highly impressive that our experience got even better after the sales pitch. Led by Steve, our PM, their team was responsive, professional, and very knowledgeable. They made the process largely “hassle” free for us. Even with installation, where I was initially concerned about having a “construction site” look for too long in our yard, their on-site team did a fantastic job moving efficiently and keeping everything organized and neat. We are very pleased with the company’s work quality and service – from design, to installation, to post-installation care. Excellent Experience w/ Goldin Solar!

I had an excellent experience with Goldin Solar, especially working with Michael and Solene! Being a science teacher, solar has always interested me and I wanted to do my part to help reduce carbon emissions. After installing a new roof and knowing there was going to be a 30% federal tax credit, I knew it was the right time. I did my research and selected two different companies (and even had two different sales reps from each visit me). I selected Goldin Solar because their business is only solar, they were based out of Miami (but have offices throughout Florida), and their STELLAR reviews/reputation. The inspection, permitting, and install were very well coordinated. We are very happy with our solar panels and have already seen the savings potential after a month of it up and running. Very Professional Organization

Goldin Solar installed our solar system about 45 days ago. They showed up as promised & cleaned up every day when they left. It is wonderful to go outside past the meter and watch it spin backwards, knowing that in our own little way that we are helping to fight global warming. Steve who was our rep at Goldin, kept us up to date all the time as to the status of the permitting, installation and inspections. My only suggestion is to anyone who has a an FP & L “time of use meter”, Have the time of use turned off before the installation begins. I would highly recommend Goldin Solar if you ever thought about putting solar on your home or business.
