So Glad I've "Gone Solar"

My solar panel purchase and installation was much easier than I ever thought it would be. My one regret is that I felt a little pressured to make my decision the very day the salesman spoke with me; the pressure was that I might not be eligible to receive the Ambassador discount [about $4000.00] if I waited to decide. Because, after he left I felt I hadn't done due diligence in looking at other company's offers and prices before just signing on the dotted line for such a big investment. Aside from my one regret I have been SO pleased with everything else FES has done. 1. They made it very easy for me to get a loan, at a VERY fair interest rate, with a Bank they work with (so I didn't have to go in search of a loan on my own - which would have delayed the process for me). 2. The installers were prompt, professional, and courteous. The installation started in the early AM and was done before noon. 3. FES had made all the arrangements with my HOA in order to proceed within their guidelines, and also made all arrangements with the city inspectors, so I did not have to think twice about either of those hurdles. 4. FES sent an employee to meet and facilitate the final (post-installation) inspection. 5. It was a few days less than one month from the day I signed the paper to move forward to the day my system was "up and running". 6. And, lastly, FES had a representative make an appointment with me to sit down and go through a completion checklist so that I would be comfortable with the workings of my new system. My system has routinely been delivering the promised amount of energy and my P.G.&E. bill has dropped to exactly what Dale had estimated .... around $40.00. So, for example, July, 2016 my energy bill was $207.84, and July this year it was $39.83. Because of the kind, courteous, and prompt service I have been afforded by FES employees, as well as the performance of my solar system so far I would DEFINITELY recommend that a prospective buyer strongly consider this family-owned, community-minded company to meet their solar energy needs.

Do not pick FUTURE ENERGY SAVERS, you will regret it!

DO NOT PICK THIS COMPANY - FUTURE ENERGY SAVERS. Pick ANY other company, you will save roughly 10-15 thousand dollars and they will be superior in every way. You will avoid the headaches, arguments, lack of knowledge, false advertising, and manipulative nature of how FES promises you features at signing but not tell you that they do not offer it or charge extra it’s too late, you already paid them for the system. May 20, Dale came by our house and went over everything that we need, after some calculations, he set a 4kW system for us. He explained all the features that FES gives. He knew the products so we knew they would take care of us. He mentioned FES customer service is 2nd to none when compared to other companies and gave us the Ambassador Program since we are a returning customer. Dale promised us a worry-free system from FES so we went into contract: • Active/Live solar production monitoring; Micro-inverter monitoring; Quick turn arounds on repairs because of 30-year warranty; FES monitoring my system for quick resolutions of issues; Ability to use my system from day one; Great customer service, quality parts and installation He confirmed we will get all these as part of the system. Wife and I discussed and both agreed that this was a good choice. We would spend more time with family and less on the system (my son is Autistic). June 2, FES calls to install the system so I took the day off. Once the system was installed and turned on, the installers let us know that we can start using the system from here on end. June 9, FES inspector comes by to check the system installation so I took that day off. He told us that the system works fine, we’re good to keep using it, SMUD should be done in another week. July 6, SMUD installs their Meter and lets me know to turn our Solar to use. I was confused as I was told that it’s already on. Dale, 2 installers and pre-inspection person stated: We would be able to use our system from day one install. There was no mention of the system being off. I called Rob, tech person, about why it was not Energized. He said it was turned off June 9, the day the inspection person came. He turned it off and told us that we can keep using it. It was off for almost 1 month and no one in FES knew. Where was this live monitoring that FES does? Where is the customer service that FES was to provide? If the system is off, there will be a notification to FES about it not working! I had to manually energize it while on the phone. System was up but wasn’t working properly when checked online. Production and consumption charts were wrong. It was showing Solar production at 1 AM. Called FES on and they couldn’t figure it out but could see it was happening from the day one until turned off and again when turned back on. They knew this but didn’t come to fix it? What in the hell did I pay this company for? Contacted FES again and complained that we paid so much money and got ripped off. I wanted to speak to a Manager or the Owner. Got a call from Mitch and started talking about my issues. Gave him proof on normal system costs per industry standard. SMUD shows the cost for Solar on their site and building permit shows my system value. Mitch comes back with the salesman pitch comparing FES to a Mercedes dealership. He was forgetting that FES has provided me ZERO world class, sorry Mercedes class customer service. They provided me mediocre at best service. I gave him a list of issues that I’ve been having and told him that this is not what I paid for. Where is what was promised? I requested FES compensate me for ignoring what was part of the contract by adding 8-10 panels. After a week, they came back with 2 more panels to compensate. I was shocked, hesitantly said yes on the phone but spoke to my wife and she said no. We are not taking 2 panels, that’s an insult. They lied to us, charged us $14,000+ more than others, didn’t provide what was said, caused us frustration every day and now are “giving” 2 panels to make it all better? I emailed FES within a few hours to let Mitch know that we don’t agree, it’s not the compensation we wanted. He called back and said that they would not give me anything now because we are wanting too much, he will only honor the original contract. Honor the original contract? You haven’t delivered ANYTHING that was promised! I told Mitch about how Dale sold me on all these things, he said the equipment was new and they aren’t trained up on it. THEN WHY DID YOU SEND HIM TO ME? You sent untrained reps to me, told me items will be delivered and when it’s not, say they aren’t trained? If they would have been honest, I would have gone with someone else. You falsified your promises, took my money and caused us frustrated, emotional distress and time away from my son. FES have finally fixed most of the issues that I have complained about since day one but they have not compensated me for anything. DO NOT CHOOSE FES, you will regret it.

Solar Review

We've had our system for a few months and are very pleased. From our initial contact with the company every person we have encountered has been professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They never missed an appointment, time frames were met...and the installers completely cleaned up after themselves! Our monthly energy bills have plummeted to approximately 15% of what they were, and with the above industry standard 30 year warranty, we know we will be taken care of in the Future should any repairs be needed! We highly recommend Future Energy Savers to anyone seeking to install a solar system!

Great Experience

From start to finish working with Future Energy has been a pleasant experience. We actually had three solar companies knock on our door in two days, this was the least pushy of the three (they're solicitors, of course there is going to be a bit of pushing on their part). Mitch, our salesman, arrived on time and was a joy to have in our home. My husband was much less sure about going solar than I was and had a lot of questions and concerns. Mitch answered them with certainty and ease. The inspector/planner for the roof and layout was out the next week and approved the panels. The workers actually arrived early but waited quietly outside until their start time. They were done fairly quickly and left nothing but the solar panels behind. The only bummer is that you have to wait for permits from PG&E before you can actually start producing energy. We finally got them and started producing. My husband was anxious to get the app and start monitoring how much energy we were producing. So far we are producing more energy than we need on bright, sunny days!

future energy savers realy are all there cracked up to be. From the moment I met the salesman I didn't get that feeling when you feel like your being pressured into something your not sure you should do. The feeling was an enjoyable one. Kevin (salesman) was awesome. He had tremendous knowledge and educated 90% of the time. He basically left it all up to us with no pressure at all. he was great with our kids too! We had our system installed on the exact days scheduled. Everyone from installers to office staff was a pleasure working with. We are enjoying are solar more every day. Expecially the price.

Quick and professional installation, and a satisfied customer

We are very happy with our solar system installed by Future Energy Savers. The sales meeting, installation, and the resulting system all were handled professionally and to our satisfaction. Their sales person, William, was knowledgeable and thorough in explaining their system and answering our questions. Once we made our decision, which took a few days on our part, they quickly scheduled the installation for about a week later. They showed up on time, and completed the installation in one day. From a layman's viiew of their work, it looks very professionally done, and it has worked as advertised. Once PG&E did their processing, which took only a few days, we began to generate electricity for our house and to feed back into the grid. There were two areas that could be improved on their part, though neither affects the quality of our system or how it operates. In the section below, we did not give them all 5 stars in two areas. For sales, we found their sales calls to be persistent to the point of being a bit overbearing. For instance, they would call to "verfiy a sales appointment" when no such appointment had been set up. Once we got past this stage, however, all of our communications with their people was very professional and satisfactory. In the "price charged as quoted", we used Future Energy Savers finance arm to get a loan for the system. When they sent us the paperwork for signature, it was made out at a higher interest rate than we had agreed on. This was quickly fixed with one phone call, and they were apologetic for their error. Other than these two items, however, our experience with Future Energy Savers has been very professional and satisfactory. We are very happy with our solar system and we are happy to recommend Future Energy Systems to others who are considering going solar.

Living the Green Life

My wife and I had our system installed the first of February. So far every time I have gotten on to SCE web site I see a great big "0" under where it says how much we owe. Even with the inclimate weather we've had this year we still have a plus of produced electricity. Future has been great to work with. They have been prompt. They are there when they say they will. Gotta love that. The crew was very professional. They worked very cleanly. They would have been done in one day except they had someone sick. And they still almost made it in one day. They were back the next day. Finished up, and then went over with some do's and don'ts with us. I would happily recommend Future Energy Savers to anyone who was thinking about getting solar. Over thirty years of experience installing Solar systems on homes like yours!

Solar Installation

I have found the whole process from the sales meeting with Kevin Gaskins to the final installation to be fast and professional. My system was installed in February 2017 and I'm waiting to see my first bill. I haven't had problems with the system so far and am looking forward to my electric savings.

Thrilled with our new Future Energy Savers Solar system!!

Our new solar system was installed in December 2016. We were so excited to get our January PG&E bill to see the savings. Just as we were told, our balance owing to PG&E was approximately $10....woohoo! From the young man who came to our door, to our salesperson Dale, to the installation crew and office staff, all facets of our experience went smoothly with no pressure. Great information was provided which helped us to take the step for solar! We would definitely encourage any homeowners to check out this company. Solar is their market! not roofing or any other business. They have been around a long time and have a great reputation!!

Solar Installation

Overall we are very happy with our solar system. The installer was professional and answered all our questions. The salesman was very professional and on time. Just for FYI this solar system is a tax credit not a tax refund. Unless you pay taxes to uncle sam on the end of the year you will get credit. You will never get a refund (30%) to pay your solar loan and get a lower payment. I suggest to Contact your Tax person before buying.

The entire process from start to finish only took 6 weeks. We stared with another company and it would have taken 3 months to go through the same process so we switched to Future Energy because we like what they had to say and offer. Granted we paid a little more, but it was worth it. Overall everyone was nice and helpful. If I had a question they were able to answer right away, even after the panels were put on.

Happy with Our Solar

On December 22, 2016 Future Energy Savers solar company installed a 4kw solar system on our home in Woodland, California. We had decided late in the year that we would like to have the solar installed before the end of the year in order to take advantage of the federal tax credit for the 2016 year. The salesman met with us on November 28, 2016, clearly explained the advantages of a solar installation on our home, answered our questions, and set the process in motion. In spite of our late decision to get this done in 2016, Future Energy Staff went to work and designed the system, arranged the financing, answered our questions through the process, accommodated some small adjustments we requested…and just plain made the process so very simple. They walked us through the process each step of the way. The technicians completed the installation in only about seven hours. We are very pleased with our new solar…and the knowledge that we are reducing our carbon footprint and doing something good for our beloved planet. We like that the solar panels are state of the art and made-in-America by Solar World. We heartily recommend Future Energy Savers when you are considering solar for your home.

My home solar review

My name is Brian Holiman I had solar installed by future energy. The customer severvice was excellent , they were showed up on time and they did exactly what they said the would do I would recommend as a very good company to do your solar, the only issue I had with the company is that they based how many solar panels I needed based on my winter electric bill. So I try to be cautious with how much energy ,I have learned from all of this just cause you have solar you still need to be aware of your energy ussage. I just wished they would have explained this to us in our in home meeting with there sales rep. They did tell us this information after the system was installed. This company did an excellent job on the repairs of my tiles the damaged they sent there employees to my house after hours the day before a big rain so my roof would not leak. For the most part I have a very good experience from this company and I did recommend them to friends
