Sometimes it takes very long to get a hold of someone in customer service. You'll get random disconnects and have to wait in queue again. When the techs come out they do an excellent job but every single time they have come out to my property something was wrong with a part either missing or not appropriate so they have to order. My setup has not been properly or smoothly functioning where they dont have to keep coming back. My main concern is the delay in part ordering. I have to endure elevated electric bills because my solar is not functioning as promised until they can get the appropriate pieces installed....which i feel should have been done in the very first place. Its been almost coming up a year since this was installed and not going as well as I hoped for.

Nothing but problems
18 months and still don't have a proper working system! I went thru Solar Project for my system and they used freedom forever as the subcontractor. Freedom foe er has horrible le reviews and I have experienced the same. They advised me to use Solar edge equipment I stead of tesla. I spent $120000.00 for an abnormally large system and paid for it. Freedom Forever from the beginning was late to start did not keep anywhere to schedule, thier engineers I swear they get from a preschool. Two engineers lost their job over my project as I pointed out to them their huge mistakes. That only set us back even further because each change brings another permit change. I had three different solar edge peice of equipment fail in the first six months which took forever to get parts for. I'm still waiting g on the last peice of equipment that their engineer undersized and would not charge properly. This is my home in Arizona with no ostructions. They have lied to me multiple times. The biggest problem is on my other home I designed and installed my own system 25 years ago with zero failures and it works perfectly to this day. I have 25 years of living off solar experience. Gauges don't lie. Freedom Forever is a crap company with inferior products. Their own installer told me.I made a big mistake with Solar Edge equipment because they said their programming software is old and does not work properly. On the positive not e ery installer/ trouble shooter that came out did top quality work and were very helpful and understanding. The trouble shooter told me I was 100% right and they had lots of complaints and that it was common. I appreciated their honesty. I have no gripe with the installers or the trouble shooters. They did their best and Freedom Forever would not listen to them. Do not deal with Solar Project or Freedom Forever. Horrible experience. I would have gladly paid more money for better service. I am only hitting the high points here and could go on and on.

DISSATISFACTION
It was difficult to reach the appropriate technical personnel and to obtain clear explanations regarding the state benefits. As a result, we lost the opportunity to receive certain state grants. Although the project was installed and designed quickly, the PTO (Permission to Operate) process took a long time. Consequently, the system could not begin operating as expected, and the anticipated benefits from reduced power consumption were delayed.

Almost perfect
The guys came according to the time frame promised and began their work. We left the house for our jobs and when we came home for lunch, they were done but they left our garage door open. Leaving our home unsecured was inexcusable. They knew we weren't home and could have closed the door and left out the side door, locking the knob as they left. Really disappointed! The panels look great and they left everything clean.

I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy, even if they paid me! We were haggling back and forth for about 6 months or longer for a simple job. And that's that they're getting paid for it, not a warranty job. If it wasn't for the last customer support agent I spoke with, Morgan, we would have lost out on a roofing job that we had planned.

Mike is GREAT! ..I hate Freedom Forever Solar
Mike, like Everyone I’ve spoken to at FF customer service, was extremely friendly, competent, and efficient! Mike is def an asset at this organization. The people who actually installed our panels and/or our local office sucks! No communication or maybe just miscommunication makes me think I’d prefer sitting cacti than referring FF to anyone I actually like. Mike..FF don’t deserve you! You’re too good!

My journey with Freedom sellers started back March 2025. I’ve always wanted Solar, save the planet and all that shit give the electrical company less money. So when the opportunity came to get Solar, I was very excited. I thought I would get the maximum amount of panels and in no time the electric company would owe me money or I would have credits to last me the lifetime I lived in this house. Little did I know, that they don’t want that outcome. They want to give you the bare minimum, so you will still get a fairly large elect bill and pay them $200 a month. So where was the savings I wasn’t getting any. And now recently they’ve come back and said oh we can add more. Why couldn’t this be from the beginning? I asked, the response was too much shade, I have a second building on my property. I asked if that was a viable solution. I was told no with no or very little explanation. The second time around I’ve decided to check other resources and come across a company that is very transparent. They have suggested 22 more panels on my house.! gee, where did they find the room to add these? Also said my second building on my property was also a great location. So I am very grateful that I went to another Solar company. It will be great to see my Bills be 90% Solar and 10% electric company versus the other way around plus the additional cost to Freedom Solar.
