A Stalwart Company! Ten stars if I could!

Freedom Forever is a stellar company. I’d give them 10 stars if I could. My HOA was a bear to deal with and Mary Anno, their customer experience specialist, was always there to help me and to facilitate the process. Due to unforeseen circumstances with my HOA, it took over a year to get PTO (permission to operate) but Freedom Forever stood by me and paid my loan payments until we were finally given permission. Then they followed up with me for the next six months to make sure my HOA was charging me appropriately. What a stalwart company! I recommend them highly. My only suggestion is they no longer deal with Noah Falk of Greenstar energy (see my other 2 star review). He told me (and others) many untruths and sold me a $36,000 system without a battery! Stay away from Greenstar Solar!

Perfect

Thanks to Gio and his crew for a great install. They saw a few places where stuff could be done a bit cleaner, and it looks great. Ran me through a few of the more techy stuff, that I am sure they didn't have, but much appreciated. Can't wait to get this bad boy running. Thanks again Gio

Horrible

We signed the contract in August of 2018 and paid for the 15k system. It failed inspections over and over was finally turned on in February of 2019. We noticed a leak in our roof and the roofer came out, left because panels needed to be removed another week goes by and panels are off. Roofer comes out verifies nothing was used to seal holes when installed and we have been waiting ever since with some panels in our courtyard on the ground and system unhooked again waiting for 2 weeks now on approval to repair the damage they created to roof. So in total 9 months since process started our solar has ran 1.5 months and is now on the ground unhooked waiting for a roofer approval again. Not to mention the wait we will have for the repair, reinstall of panels. We were told they have new customers to deal with and I guess since we already paid are no longer a priority even though we have no solar! I want them to take the panels off my roof, fix the damage they created and give me back my money at this point as they obviously cannot install or handle solar. We feel duped and want others to know before they get involved with this company. 9 months and still not an operating solar system with roof leaks on brand new home is completely ridiculous when other neighbors have had other companies install theirs in 2 weeks! Beware you will not get answers and service from Freedom Forever, they dont even show up after appts are set.

Excellent Experience with Thor Dyrensborg

I was doing plenty of shopping for Solar trying to find out the best way to get Clean energy without too much of the obligations that come along with maintaining it. You have a few different options, Finance, Cash, Lease, or PPA. I wasn't super clear on it, until I met Thor Dyrensborg. Extremely patient and not pushy Sales Professional! He assured me of the whole process, and explained how long each step was going to take and what they were doing. I had many questions from the beginning to till the end, and not once was I left in the dark. Freedom Forever utilizes Sunrun and I was happy to sign up with a company that is one of the top in the industry. I would highly recommend this Company and if you want to make sure you get the best sales experience, I can only recommend to people the experience I encountered with Freedom Forever, and that is to ask for Thor Dyrensborg. 100% satisfied. I've got 30 pannels and they are over producing! Couldn't be happier with my Solar. Thanks Thor, and Freedom Forever.

Glad we picked Freedom Forever to install our solar system. Trey and Jessica did an outstanding presentation on their solar system. They answered any questions my wife and I had about their product. Everything went smoothly from beginning to finish They even stopped by the house while the installers were present to make sure that everything was going according to schedule. The installers were just as friendly, answering any questions I had about the solar system. Even when two of the panels were not operating at fully capacity, a tech was sent to solve the problem immediately. Now everything is up and running, couldn't be happier....

Pigeon Purgatory

Freedom Forever was very efficient with regards to installation. They were in and out in one day. The efficiency of the system installed (Sony) has been excellent. Follow up and customer service has been the worst I've ever seen in any sector of the market. I can no longer reach my sales representative and the customer service line has now ignored my requests for help a total of three times. I now have a large family of pigeons living on my roof that seem to enjoy being under the solar panels. Under the guidelines of my warranty with Forever Freedom, I cannot have an outside contractor install any type of pigeon control on the panels. This will void the warranty. I've contacted customer service several times and they've been willing to give me a price for the control system; however, getting them to actually have a technician come out and install the pigeon control system has proven to be impossible. They have ignored my requests and do not seem to care about being contacted by the Better Business Bureau (I've filed a complaint). I would recommend steering clear of this sub-par company, as they have the worst customer service of any solar company out there. My house is infested with winged rodents and covered in disgusting bird feces thanks to FREEDOM FOREVER (ironic name, don't you think?).

They never finished

Still waiting for them to bring out the inspector, but they have fallen off the grid. They don't answer phone calls and I tried contacting the company of Facebook and they won't call me back. Maybe if I don't pay for the system they will call me

Mr. Robert Contreras (L.A.) works with these guys and both are impeccable with care and service. The clients needs are an absolute first. We are in San Diego and FF is in our area. The quality of paperwork process and customer care were one thing. But the system choice and installation were above and beyond. We LOVE our system and monitoring and for August to October that AC is ON!! System was turned on early Sept and we ran the A/C all month with live in family member using power all day to have our bill usage only $15 down from over $300!! I will not work with anybody else for our future/other properties. Thank you Freedom Forever and Robert!!

Really satisfied I’ve had the best experience with my Solor panel installation and Cary W Was my sales representative he handled him self in a very professional way that I myself was even impressed with really happy with my installation and everything. it came out Great I’m so looking forward to saving money on my power bill

Freedom is a very good Solar company

Freedom has treated me and my Wife very good from the first meeting thou installation. The sales team has treated us very professional. The Installers were right on time and did a great job and completed it in one day which really impressed me. I can not wait till we are able to run the system. I was told that I would get updates tile the system is able to go live.below you ask the question how many KW and I am not sure the total size but I know it is large enough to cover my homes usage plus extra.

I have been waiting to write this review for about a year because I wanted to be sure everything I was told would actually be true and it is! I met with a few different companies and each one would tell me how horrible the other one was and they seemed so pushy but when I met with my Sales Rep Matt that changed. He explained everything in a way I could understand, he was very knowledgeable and actually seemed to care in whether or not I saved money and let me tell you I have. My average bill was around $208 a month and right away we saw a change in that. This first year we have not had to pay for power through SRP anymore, we have only paid our connection fee. So between that and our solar payment we have saved over 50% of what we spent last year. We are still in contact with our Rep Matt and he has been available with whatever we needed. So Thank you Freedom and Matt for keeping your promise!!

Great Professionalism

Freedom is definitely the installer you want to deal with to, Chris simply had all the answers and many years of experience in the solar industry! Before installing my solar system I spoke to lots of other solar companies that barely had any knowledge regarding many aspects of the solar process. Not to mention the fact that they did not disclose crucial information just to make a quick sale. Chris is not a used car salesman, he simply provides you with all the information based on numbers and facts since solar simply sells itself. My bill has now dropped to $23/month and I have already referred my family members and neighbors. It's not easy finding a reputable solar company that actually delivers as promised, . I encourage more people to start going green. You can save your wallet and the planet at the same time. Im very satisfied Thank you Freedom!

5 Star company. Communication has been perfect. This is not a quick process but my rep Cary was very educated and great at setting expectations for time lines. He was always available to answer my 'stupid' questions. Compared to other Solar Companies that have sought my business Freedom was the most competitive with the lowest interest rates and comprehensive warranty 25 years. My install lasted a day. TJ was the roof lead very competent and the first of the construction crew that I met him and his guys worked very hard out in the AZ sun with a smile on there face everytime they saw me. I felt really bad for them. The team lead Brandon was also very knowledgeable and very personable and made me feel very comfortable. They installed 21 soalr panels on my roof quickly and efficiently. The job is now complete and just waiting for SRP to install there meter so we can put our solar to use. Very excited. Highly reccommend this company to any one wanting to install solar especially if your utility is SRP. Thanks!

Great Company to Work With!

Had a very positive expierence with Freedom. Saw their advertisement on facebook and thought it was too good to be true So I set up an appointment for someone to tell me about it. Their solar rep Cary came out next day and quickly explained what was going on and showed me the differnt options of going solar. I saw this as a better option than wasting money on Nevada Power.Plus I saw some savings. There installation took place about 45 days later. The install team showed up at 7 in the morning and were done by three. I left for work at 9am and came home at 7pm. From there It took a while to get on and operating (another 45 days)and finally NVE installed there new meter and I am now powered on and am super excited. I have their monitoring app and love watching the daily creation of energy from 'MY' solar system. Highly recommend.

NO customer service on a verified complaint caused by company

Installation in Santa Rosa, CA started well, we thought, but there is no back end service and I can not get the company to fix a problem that they created and admitted to creating. They want me to cover the cost for their mistake and keep dragging their feet to fix it. Had a great experience with determining pricing, selecting panels and moving quickly to get panels installed before the end of the year (2017). Panels are good and the data from the system is valuable. However, after installation, we found the the inverter that the designer selected was WAY undersized for our system and cutting off our power generation each day by as much as 15-20%. After bringing it to the attention of the tech, I was told to wait to collect more data. I did. We both looked at more data and confirmed and agreed that the inverter was undersized and significantly cutting our generation potential. After some investigation, the tech told me directly that the Freedom Forever system designer had a misunderstanding about sizing inverters and the inverter they spec-ed and installed was significantly undersized. He said there were other customers like me with undersized inverters and they were working on a solution. I was told I was at the top of the list and asked to be patient. That was March. It is now the end of July and they are still asking me to be patient. We have just gone through peak production time for the year and I can't get them to come in and fix the problem they created. Countless e mails and phone calls. I did not get this to the "escalations" department until I hinted about social media and writing a negative review. I was asked to be patient for a week. then another, and now a third. This is an easy fix. I am and have been willing to pay for the difference in the inverter cost, but they can not figure out how to pay for the labor for their own mistake. This is not rocket science and now it is costing me more money. I could have paid $6300 LESS for a system that produces as much electricity as what our undersized inverter is allowing. That is a significant extra hidden cost to me based on a mistake that Freedom Forever created. I was a vocal advocate for this company based on our initial experience with installation. But, based on their collective inability to fix an obvious customer issue that they created, unresponsiveness, and endless loops with people on trying to fix the problem, I can no longer recommend them.
