My Solar System Acquisition

Almost 2 years ago I decided to invest in a solar system to obtain a more efficient electrical energy system for my large home. I discussed systems with personnel from 5 Florida companies. Nick Minton with EHS PRESENTED THE BEST system and best cost. He followedup with frequent discussions with great detail through the complete cycle of financing, construction, testing andcommitment with Florida & Light. After we had an agreement on yhe system, Nick suggested an efficientand cost savings improvements that I accepted!!

I had a big upgrade on my house which needed a new hybrid water heater and hvac replacement plus solar. Lico the EHS rep did a outstanding job in explaining the entire process in detail, he put me in the best position to make the best decision for my home. From the first meeting I had with him through installation everything met my needs. Thank you Lico for the hard work you do and dedication to your customers.

Excellent solar panel experience

Nick Minton was an excellent customer service representative who has a complete knowledge of the solar industry in general. He explained the program to me — how solar panels work and how I could benefit from them. And now, almost a year into my experience, he was right. I’m not paying any mor for the solar panels and the reduced FPL cost than I was for FPL alone beforehand. I hav 17 panels in a 6.29 KW system, which cost me $20,700. I happily recommend EHS, and especially Nick Minton, to anyone considering solar panels. He will answer all your questions.

Solar System from EHS

I got a 9.3kW solar system installed by EHS in Nov.'23. I have been quite satisfied with the performance of the system as well as with my EHS contact (Nick Minton). Nick did follow up after the system was installed even though there was not any problem. I did have an IT issue when I changed my internet router. EHS' tech support provided excellent support to resolve the problem which was created by me.

Nick has been super working with me. I needed a tree down and he made the arrangements for me. I feel very comfortable working with Nick and EHS.

BUYER BEWARE

I purchased a solar system through Efficient Home Services in August 2022. The system was later installed in December 2022. Since then, it is now October 2033 and my system has yet to be activated. The sales team said and did anything they could to get my business, only to later ignore my calls and emails regarding concerns about the system. I then followed up with the Regional Director, who was no better. She to made promises to get my system taken care of and activated right away but did nothing. I’ve had to call and email repeatedly inquiring about when my system will be activated. Please look elsewhere and do not contract with Efficient Home Services (EHS) in North Texas.

Horrible

This company needs to be shut down. this is the third review i have done. On appox Aug 2 i called them and let them know i had a roof leak. First i called a roofing company to check. He said it was from the solar panel bracket and that i would have to call them to get it fixed because of warranty. Called Efficient Home Service told them the problem. They said they would get back to me. As of today NO call back. Called this morning no answer. Had another company come out and check the leak. He told me the same thing and he took pictures. So now with the rain like it's been i need to go on roof and fix myself before more damage is done. I am 72 years old and have no business doing this bur no roofing company will fix due to warranty. THE LAST BREAK DOWN WAS DUE TO WATER DAMAGE
