Well Done!

Based on the great reviews of Boston Solar I contacted them. Their representative made 2 house visits; he was punctual, courteous and professional. Boston Solar's proposal was competitive and I accepted. The customer service representative contacted me for procedure and scheduling; all good. A team of electricians then arrived to make sure my wiring/breaker boxes were ready to proceed. The electricians went far beyond the extra mile to prepare my wiring and kept me informed every step of the way. The install crew did an incredible job, again allowing me to observe while explaining their procedure. They were organized, with each member knowing their duties. The electrical inspection and meter upgrade are forthcoming but I have no doubts about approval. Thank you Boston Solar for a job well done and for your courtesy and professionalism!

Boston Solar Installation Review - Wrentham, MA

Boston Solar completed a 28 solar panel array during September 2018. All work was completed on schedule and within quoted price without ant issues. The office and field staff were very professional, informative and performed work consistent with high quality workmanship. The system is working as expected and we are very pleased to have contracted with Boston Solar.

Great job, except with the snow guards

Great communication, timely installation, except that the required snow guards took an extra 10 weeks after installation - and may still be inadequate. Their engineering is looking into the current install to see if its sufficient.

Solar installation review

Installation of the 18 LG panels for a 8.9 system occurred the 1st week in August 2018. To my surprise the installation was just one day. The installation crew was very professional and did amazing job and did not leave one piece of trash behind after the installation. I picked Boston Solar because I wanted a local MA company that did everything in house and did not subcontract the installation out to another company. Their service and communication on the project was very good. My panels look great and a lot of people that visit us don't even notice them because they are black on black.

Awesome Company

Everyone throughout the process from sales, to installation preparation, to the installers, to the technicians everyone was so helpful, polite, and professional. It was a pleasant experience and the quality and price of the panels really can't be matched.

Get Solar Now from Boston Solar

I had a solar lease at a previous home from another solar company. When I moved, I knew I was going to get solar again. I had 4 solar companies come out and provide quotes and I quickly learned the benefits of actually owning solar instead of leasing. I am going to save a lot more money with owning the system. I had no idea of the financial benefits of owning over leasing and the cost is very affordable. I decided to switch from my previous solar company to Boston Solar because of a few reasons, they guaranteed the SREC program, which the other companies did not, they have a more efficient solar panel over the other companies. The salesman was the best one I have ever met. No pressure sales and very informative with everything I needed to know. The only issue I had was with my electric company having to verify there was room on the transformer for my solar system. Other than that everything else has been smooth sailing. I highly recommend Boston Solar, and now is the time to sign up before the SREC program expires and you lose thousands of dollars in incentives.

Residential solar panel system

I have been contemplating purchasing solar panels for the past 4 years and in the process compared 4 different companies in the metrowest area that design, install, and facilitate financing. I could not be happier with all three aspects of this project. My salesperson, Tom Chabot, is extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent information about the system for our home and the financing. Besides offering excellent quality panels (not all panels are equal quality), the financing package made the most sense for us. Tom also clearly explained the new SMART program in MA which I think is a better plan for us financially. I like the monthly payments vs. the quarterly payouts from SRECs. Our project manager, Sana Jameel, has been extremely professional and quickly answered any questions as well as kept the project moving along at a quick pace. It only took 6.5 weeks from the time we signed the paperwork to having our system up and generating electricity! I can't say enough about Boston Solar and recommend them to anyone looking to install a solar panel system. Thanks team!!!

Massachusetts Residential Solar Installation

Boston Solar did an excellent job designing, procuring, and installing a 9+ KW system on our home. There were minor issues in scheduling and installation, but they were addressed immediately and we are very happy with the results.

Solar Panel Process

Overall from beginning to end the process was very well done. I was calling just to get a quote and better understand the tax credits and incentives. They came onsite prepared to discuss my particular situation in detail. I had two other vendors come in before hand, and they were by far the best prepared and most helpful. And as we progressed through the process they stayed on top of the project and got it done ahead of schedule.

Solar installation

I finally decided to go solar! I had two companies present proposals after reading their reviews. Boston Solar actually came to my home, took a physical look at my home and discussed my concerns about placement of panels etc. the other company presented their proposal over the phone using satallite images of my house. After deciding on Boston Solar, they walked us through every step of the installation and were very communicative through the entire process. They were very professional and efficient. Would absolutely recommend Boston Solar!!

From start to finish Boston Solar made the whole process easy and stress free. Our sales rep Joe came out and explained everything in detail. He worked with us to determine that solar would work out for us. We were very happy to know that our system could go on the back of the house, that was a huge bonus. Sana our coordinator was fantastic. She always explained everything in detail and she always made sure I was informed as to what was happening, when and why. The install was great, the panels look amazing. I can't wait for some sunny days so I can start to generate some solar! Special thanks and applaud to our project manager Mali who personally run to take care of the paper work between the town and our neighbor (condo association). Amazing dedication and looking into all the details. She constantly kept us in the loop throughout everything,and was very courteous to my endless e-mails and phone calls. Every Day Is Pay Day

I am a very happy customer of Boston Solar. As a former contractor , I know the good, The Bad, and the Ugly when it comes to dealing with contractors of many types. From my first personal contact with the company, it's Sales person Tom C, The Installation crew, my Solar Customer Experience Coordinator, Sana J and all others with whom I dealt the experience in total could not have been better ! Yes ! I would surely say use Boston Solar !

Great Experience

I had investigated several solar companies before going with Boston Solar, and feel I definitely made the right choice. From the sales rep, to the technicians, everyone in the process worked together to make this installation as seamless as possible. Customers are assigned a coordinator who kept us up to date with every step of the installation. Our coordinator, Mali, was excellent. Can’t say enough good things about this company. Going solar can be a complicated endeavor but with Boston Solar it was a breeze.

Good experience

We used Boston solar for a recent install on our home. I did a ton of research on solar systems before going with Boston. We had a few other companies come in (national companies and local companies) to give us a quote and present what they could offer. Although the were not necessarily the cheapest (the were in the middle) they had the most to offer for what we wanted out of a system. Our sales rep was josh and was great. No pressure sell tactics which is comforting and was very forthcoming about what he thought could be done and pricing for the same. Every person that has come to my house were very nice and helpful. Especially the actual roofers and electricians that mounted the panels. They worked on two extremely hot days and finished up very quickly and did a great job. I took one star off bc I thought some of the scheduling and communication regarding that was a little lacking. All in all easy company to deal with and would recommend.

Boston Solar Delivers!

Since we have a larger house with two A/C units and a pool with heat pump, we decided to look into solar to save money and to reduce our impact on the environment. We found out about Boston Solar at an earth day event at the Ecotarium in Worcester, MA. Boston Solar made everything extremely clear and easy. From the initial meeting to the install and hook-up to the grid, they handled everything. The steps transpired just as they projected. They took care of all permits, inspections, coordination with the electric company, application for our MA SREC credits, and even hooked us up with financing for the project. Our system has been on and we are very happy with the results so far. There is an app you can download to see your production in real time which is allowing us to confidently write this positive review. From everything we can tell, the production will meet or exceed the projections. We would highly recommend solar and Boston Solar specifically if you want to know what you are getting into and work with a company that delivers.

Very professional

We had an extremely positive experience with Boston Solar from the beginning of the process to the end. Their staff are knowledgeable and very supportive with great customer care skills. The crew who installed the panels did a great job with minimum disturbance. I will rate Boston Solar A plus.

Low-Hassle, Good Communication, and Friendly

Working with Boston Solar to set up our system was very low hassle. They took care of everything and did the work with high quality. They made sure to communicate with us regarding scheduling, design decisions (e.g. where to install equipment, route wiring, etc.), and system operation & monitoring. They were also very friendly and responsive at answering our own questions. There are only two issues I can think of (initially had some incorrect information on forms, and initially left some outlets detached from our new electrical panel), but both were resolved quickly once Boston Solar was made aware of the issues. I feel comforted knowing they have our back for at least the next ten years throughout the duration of our labor warranty.

Residential Installation Review

Overall, Boston Solar was a great company to deal with. Staff were easy to deal with and very helpful. The installers were professional and respectful of our home. We are happy to see that we are producing as much electricity as quoted. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the scheduling of our job took much longer than originally quoted - about 3 months and the clarity of the process to receive any bonus credits or promo items has not been clear - we are still working on them.

Boston Solar is THE BEST!

We had a fantastic experience! Our sales rep Wayne was super friendly and made a very compelling financial case. The design they came up with really impressed us, as our house doesn't face the ideal direction, but they made it work without putting panels on the front of the house as we thought they would have to! Our project manager Mali was very informative, was clear and detailed about every aspect of the process, and made the whole experience so easy. Tom Sheridan who did the final walkthrough was fabulous! Couldn't recommend Boston Solar any more! Outstanding product/value and a phenomenal company!
