The entire process for our Blue Sky Solar system could not have been easier! My wife found Blue Sky online, and just suggested I inquire. Their response was immediate, factual, no nonsense, easily comparable, and patient with all of my questions. Scheduling the installation was a breeze, and they dovetailed into our schedule as if we were their only customer! Their installation team was wonderful and addressed all of my little inquiries and concerns. WB

Good Experience

My experience with Blue Sky Solar was positive from the start. From the first call to assess my situation to the final installation everything was explained fully and clearly. All the personnel involved along the way were very professional, patient and knowledgeable about the product and the installation process. The only frustrating part was the coordination between the company, the county and the power utility. But I guess some of this is unavoidable when dealing with bureaucracies. All in all a very good experience.

From the start to where we are now in the process. I would give you all 4.8 stars out of 5!! Bravo. Had a few communications issues once the sale had been made. That being said, once Michele Lunt stepped in as our Customer experience rep. She has taken it to a whole other level. She has been the bomb!!!

Blue Sky Solar was amazing to work with. We got multiple bids and they were the best price by far. From Todd in sales, to Sammi and Megan helping with the onboarding and answering all my questions, Logan to helping manage the project, and Michelle helping after installation, everything went great. Great Customer Experience!

I can't say enough positives things about my recent experience with my solar install by Blue Sky Solar. They communicated with me every step of the way. My particular experience required my entire roof be reinforced and replaced. I ended up using a roofer they had past experience with and could not be happier with the results. Im still new to my panels being installed so cannot comment yet on savings. I would very much recommend the Blue Sky team on your project.

Throughout the process the communication was seamless. I always knew what was going on, where my project was and what the next step was. Almost the entire process was done via email with very minimal phone calls. Personally I liked it that way because I work graveyards and could respond to emails easier than phone calls. The product is top of the line, the install was completed in a day and the follow-up was completed shortly after that. Blue Sky knew what they were doing and planned everything from A to Z. Great product, amazing service!

When I was looking into installing solar panels, I looked at about 10 different companies in the Salt Lake Area, and did a ton of research on what I should expect to generate/use, so I went in to this with certain expectations which Blue Sky Solar met and exceeded. The sales staff (I worked with Trent) was very informative and at no point did I feel under any pressure to choose something I didn't already know I wanted based on my own research. Some of the other 10 companies I looked at either tried to upsell me, or just weren't as responsive to my questions/concerns. Once I was ready to move forward with installation, they were extremely flexible, and worked with me to find a payment plan that worked with my timing but also reduced my overall cost. Once installation began, I started working with a project manager (Felisha) at Blue Sky who was just as flexible and responsive to my (numerous) questions. She did a great job making sure everything came together by my deadline, and even drove all the way from Layton at the last minute to meet with the city inspector to open up some of the electrical panels. I'm four months into using my system, and production is very close to what they (and I) estimated it to be. I was able to get the slightly more efficient REC-Alpha Blacks at a great price and am thrilled with the system so far. The Alpha Blacks are slimmer and look really nice on my roof, and have a slightly better lifespan and efficiency than some of the other panel options. While most companies will provide a similar option for the panels themselves, it's hard to imagine anyone would have been as easy to work with as Blue Sky (or as affordable). If we ever move, or when it's time to replace them in 30 years, I will definitely reach out to Blue Sky again!

I had been thinking about solar for some time. When my salesman gave me a quote and explained how it works, I was for sure interested. He was well informed and had all my answers. One of my concerns is the way the panels look on roofs. I had been paying attention to homes with solar. I didn't like the panels looking like a tetris game on your roof. When I got my quote and layout, it was fantastic. They placed the panels on a detached garage and a dormer on the house. You cant even see the panels as it takes up the whole space of the roof tops, Very impressive. Another concern was if I was asked questions during the installation, I hoped I had answers . My installer came, did all the work very quickly without a question. My only job was to flip the on switch once the meter was changed out. This had to be one of the easiest improvements I have done. I received emails and calls on every step that was going to happen, I was well informed. I would highly recommend this company. I am a Very satisfied customer

My solar installation experience.

Blue Sky Solar recently completed my solar installation at my home in Eugene Oregon. The entire project was done in a timely fashion. They did all of the paperwork from design, permit application, loan application and the installation. My questions were promptly answered. Blue Sky Solar got me a great system, great panels and a great price. I saved over $6,000 dollars by using them. I was going to go with another company until I heard from these guys. They got me better panels and saved me a fortune. Their team is amazing to work with and they've all been extremely helpful along every step of the way. I'd recommend Blue Sky to anyone.

Seamless Solar

My wife and I recently had rooftop solar installed on our home by Blue Sky Solar. This organization provided incredible service from the initial meeting to the final installation. There were multiple people on the team providing timely and clear communications on everything from financing, tax credits, timelines, installation procedures, and expected energy production. Everything about the process was laid out very clearly from the beginning and every question we had along the way was answered quickly and clearly. The cost that was determined at the very beginning was, down to the penny, the cost I paid at the end. We were also very impressed with the installation team. They were very friendly, conscientious, and also took the time to answer questions and point out the important features of the install and system. They arrived on the day and at the time promised and installed the system in half a day. Finally, Blue Sky sets you up with a great monitoring system so you can use your computer or phone to keep track of your production over time and make you feel extra good about yourself!! Nice work from start to finish!

The folks at Blue Sky did a nice job getting my solar panels designed, installed, permitted and qualified for tax credits. They got all 28 panels installed, working past sundown to get the project finished on time. The support staff put together a nicely organized book that contains everything about the project from start to finish. Super nice staff in their offices and the on-site installers did a really clean installation. Thanks for doing such a great job!

Amazing company to work with!

Getting solar power was easier than I could have imagined. They were clear, responsive, prompt and polite. The entire process was amazing. We are very happy to be producing our own clean energy! I would recommend them to ANYONE!

A great company

The Team and Blue Sky Solar from start to finish was great. Trent came out to inspect the home and provide an estimate of solar production and viability. His energy and passion for Solar really shines through and helps eliminate any unease you may have. Second steps were having the solar installers out who work with Blue Sky, those guys were friendly and passionate about solar also. Respectful of my space and time and really showed the quality of people they were. During the permitting / design / project prep work the office team did a great job at keeping me informed of the steps and what is coming, along with processing all the paperwork as quickly as they could. I expected the time from start to finish to take significantly longer, we were able to schedule the install before the end of the year to gain the max benefit of the federal rebates! During install the same installers from the inspection came out to do the work, and they did a great job, solar went online 1/8 after all inspections passed. I would absolutely recommend Blue Sky Solar for taking care of your solar needs!

Very Happy With Our 14.4kW System

We had a great experience with BlueSky solar. We spent a year looking for a company to install solar and ended up choosing them. Their salesperson was professional, knowledgeable and, most importantly, completely no-pressure. We chose to go with a slightly larger than average system due to high energy use. The prices were reasonable and we received a discount on our system since they weren't guaranteeing install by the end of the year. We were very happy that everything was finished before the end of the year. The project managers were very quick to respond to questions and even though we had a couple frustrating scheduling snafu's the system was completely installed within a couple of days and the staff fixed any issues right away. The install crew was clean-cut, professional and worked hard through some awful wind and rain to get the system put in. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for solar.

I have had a terrific experience with Blue Sky Solar. I worked with Rick who held my hand all the way through the process so graciously. I now have wonderfully functioning solar panels on my roof and a Nest to control my temperature and LED lights throughout my house. We all want to do something to make a difference for future generations and this is the easiest possible way to do it. I am a teacher and not a wealthy person but with all the support I had financially to make this happen with tax credits it’s been100% positive all the way through.
