All Energy Solar

Working with All Energy Solar was a very pleasant experience. Everyone was very open and easy to communicate with every step of the way. The solar installation was a project my husband and I had been planning to do for several years. My husband passed away and it was something I wanted to complete for him. He loved doing all the research and crunching all the numbers. Me - not so much. I was pretty nervous about it but I found it to be a very pleasant and stress free experience. It was a very, very wet summer. My system is a ground mount. A lot of the work had to be done in the rain and the mud. It was done well and on schedule.

Go Solar - Awesome Experience

From start to finish going solar could not have been easier. The solar project went back and forth between myself and the design team until I had exactly what I wanted. From there, the project manager took me through the whole process. He was attentive and always got back to me when I had any questions. When it was time for the installation, the crews were professional, took care while on my property and were very respectful. Once all the inspections were completed, my meters were installed quickly and the system was up and running. I highly recommend All Energy Solar if you are considering going solar.

Great Value; Great Customer Experience

Carlo and his team at All Energy did a fantastic job, right from the first phone call. We had had previous consultations with other companies that had not gone well. All Energy was a refreshing change. From the start, Carlo was up front and honest about the costs of solar, the drawbacks of our location, the work involved, and the long-term effects of switching. Especially important was the difference between solar credits and solar rebates, which are highly publicized, but poorly explained - not with Carlo, though. He walked us through pricing models and array designs to maximize our sunlight capture, while minimizing our costs. (He even recommended us a really great roofer in the mix!) Our design and financing steps went flawlessly and efficiently. Before we knew it, we were on our way to a solar array! The inspections and install went off just fine. We set appointments and everyone was on time. Carlo Meloni was an exceptional project manager for us. Every step of the way, he would call and email with updates, even if he didn't have any, just to let us know that we were still on the calendar and still on their minds. He was responsive to phone calls and emails. He is still calling to this day, almost 2 months after install, as there was an issue with the rebates. He calls every few weeks just to tell us that he is still monitoring the rebate program and there are good signs for the future, but nothing concrete yet. Our system has been generating for 2 months now. We are creating most of our energy needs through the solar panels. Our energy costs have not yet decreased, due to the rebate program, but we hold out hope. We will also be pruning back some trees to let more light flood on the panels and hopefully collect more energy. All in all, we are very happy with our new solar system. Well designed and well executed job!

All Energy Solar did an outstanding job to install solar panels on our roof that meet our needs. It took a little longer than expected but these guys didn't compromise on the quality. The cost to install is probably on the lower side compared to other companies in the twin cities. We got what they proposed and promised. Our install was designed to meet our current energy needs and future need for charging two EVs. The install stated in early June and got done in late July. In August and September, the panels generated 1.8 KWH and 1.5 KWH. In October so far we are at 562 KWH. I won't be surprised to see the energy generation exceed the initial design specs! I would recommend these guys without any hesitation.

Home Solar Installation

My wife and I have a lot of experience with home improvements and contractors. I would have to say that this project was one of our best experiences, From start to finish including follow up they were top notch. We particularly appreciated their regular communication during the entire process. Megan Spear, our project manager, did an outstanding job. When we had a glitch, when the system was activated, she quickly diagnosed the problem and got it fixed. Could not be more pleased

First Class Job!

Worked with Carlo and the team for several months. A job well done! Gave us a good bid, and backed it up with first class service throughout. Crew was on time, got the job done in a few hours, and cleaned up nicely. Carlo helped us get through the permitting and interconnect process, which took a little longer than hoped (delays on the govt side, not theirs), and was totally helpful throughout. Followed everything up to completion, and closed out nicely. Highly recommended!

All-around great solar experience

From the start of the project, AES worked closely with me to get the system I wanted. They looked at my post usage and costs to determine the right system. They worked behind the scenes to get all the paperwork and permits set up for me and installed the arrays in no time---the crew even stayed late to make sure they completed the project efficiently. The office staff and project manager were communicative and knowledgeable. The crew was friendly and approachable. The one minor issue i had after the set up was fixed immediately. Now I've been solar powered for a month and love it!

Great experience

We got the OK to turn our panels on today and we could not be happier with the entire experience with All Energy. Carlo has been with us since the beginning. He was always available, proactive knowledgeable and helpful. Alfie, the electricians and the install crews that came to to the house were phenomenal. They were quiet, kept a clean site and were there when they said they'd be. They were fair and honest, and respectful. I will be contunue to highly recommend them in the future.

We researched quite a bit before choosing All Energy Solar and chose them because they were familiar with the Twin Cities and Dakota Electric and they made the entire process of going solar easy and seamless for us. Price was very fair, access to rebates and loan info was clear and up front, and sales/production/install folks were all fabulous. Absolutely recommend!

Great experience...would recommend to anyone!

I had a 9.5 kwh solar array installed by Solar Energy. I would say the overall experience was great. The team kept me up to date, even when we were waiting through the long process of permitting. The team that did that installation were done in 2 days and we had it turned on less than a week later. Overall great experience, the drawback to this process is the time it takes for permitting, but I think things will be getting easier going forward. Thanks to everyone!

Outstanding service 4+ years later

After looking at multiple solar installers in 2007 and again in 2016, we finally decided on All Energy Solar as our solar install partner. The installation process was smooth, and the customer service provided was excellent. Since that time, we've been enjoying the benefits of reduced energy bills on our solar. However, during my regular monthly check-in on my panels using my solar monitoring system, I noticed one panel was continually underproducing. I check it for debris, and there was none, so I contacted All Energy Solar for help. Within a day, a customer service person got back to me, and a few days later, they confirmed that a new inverter was needed for the one panel, and a crew would be out to fix it in about a week. As promised, they delivered and even sent me a follow-up email to let me know. It's nice when someone lives up to their sales pitch.

Very pleased with all phases of my solar project

All Energy's yard signs pop up all over South Minneapolis, so it was easy to find their contact information. My sales person took the time to gather the information about my situation, did a great job explaining the proposal she put together for me and was very patient with my questions. I wanted to go with a micro inverter system and that is what All Energy proposed for me. The installation crew was extremely professional and left my yard and gardens in perfect condition. My project manager went to bat for me when Xcel Energy dragged their feet on the final connection. All around great experience with All Energy!

Great customer service, very fast and no pressure

We reached out to several companies, based on recommendations from friends, All Energy Solar was the best. AES created our plan, and did not pressure us to get more panels than we needed. We received quick, comprehensive communication throughout the process. The installation was completed 2 weeks early with no issues.

Excellent service

We researched several companies before deciding to go with All Energy Solar. They were the most thorough and straight forward of all of the companies that I spoke with, and overall have a great reputation. We felt the option to purchase our panels was more beneficial than leasing. Both David and Carlo were amazing to work with throughout the process. Carlo kept in contact with us every step of the way, and he made sure we knew what the next steps would be as the project moved along. Our panels were installed and up and running a lot faster than I had initially expected. The installation team worked quickly, were very respectful, and cleaned up entirely after installation. The whole process ran very smoothly and we have already seen a significant savings during our first month. I would highly recommend All Energy and I'm happy we made the decision to go with them.

Terrific Experience

We did very thorough research and found All Energy to have the most up to date tech and best pricing. The proposal was clear and we never felt that we were being sold something that didn’t fit our needs. Our PM, Carlo was on it with communications throughout the process and beyond the install. The crew was respectful, tidy and clearly knew their trade. All around terrific experience, we are so glad we made the decision to go with All Energy.

Outstanding work while respecting our property.

We contracted with All Energy Solar after getting four bids for our project based on a Zoom meeting with David, the quality of the panels offered and employing their installation crew. Two days after signing the contract their project manager, Carlo, phoned. Carlo did an outstanding job of keeping us informed throughout the project with phone calls and emails before each phase and when some issues of inspections and permissions came up. All Energy Solar handled all the paperwork with National Grid for the required permissions. Carlo acknowledged receipt of key documents from both my wife and I and National Grid which was appreciated.

Great solar company!

All Energy Solar made getting solar panels easy! They answered all questions right away, took care of the permits, and followed up with Xcel Energy to make sure everything was completed in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone interested in solar panels!!!

Sunsational!!

After deciding to go solar, we checked with friends active in the alternative energy community if they could recommend a good Twin Cities installer. They did some checking and recommended All Energy Solar. We were familiar with the name because they are a Minnesota Lynx sponsor, and we are Lynx season ticket holders. We contacted them and never looked back. The staff (we dealt with Colin and Nick) were prompt, friendly, knowledgable and professional. We had no idea it would be so easy! They answered all of our questions and took care of everything - design, installation, permits, inspections, etc. Installation was actually complete ahead of schedule. We’d highly recommend All Energy Solar to anyone thinking about going solar.
