Affordable Solar Roof & Air

This is the second home I’ve done solar with, I can definitely say Affordable bel was more professional/easier to work with than the last company a few years back. Happy the cost of solar has gone down over 5 years, especially when my bill showed no signs of decreasing- don’t know how long I’ll stay living at this house but increasing the home value is always a plus. I’ve got neighbors asking who did my panels so I’m hoping to send some more business Affordable Solar’s way.

Bad company

don't use this company they play world game on the contract . salse people lied and they use the world on contract explained different meaning . not like what they said to you will have no bill or negative bills . because they never tell you when you change to 1:1solar buy back energy company every months have TDU deliver fee that's meaning you have to reduce more power than what you really use then can cover your bills. and they told me i have to use the solar panels one years see can reduce the energy on contract or not if not they will add more panels after one year i called they tell me they can't put because of contract they use word syetem will offset last 12 months of usage . start one year before i sign the contract . but my house is new i not have one year before energy bills. if anyone looking for solar company try open your eyes. my bills not lower higher than before.

Great results with my affordable solar system. Hands down they were the right company to go with I don’t have a single complaint. I felt as if it went exactly how it should have went in regard to the ease of getting a solar system no hassle or bs. Straight business and results.

Impressed with the service they provided to me. It was very simple and not overwhelming at any point. Chris was a great sales rep for me and was communicating with me through out everything he really made it easy.

Support local business

Dunedin building code is super strict. We we’ve been dealing with lots of permits from the city, Solar was relatively easy compared to some of the other work on the house. Affordable’s installers satisfied the criteria on the first go which was a relief. Affordable was our top choice because they offered the three in one deal. We got our AC, roof, and solar done in one sweep from a local company! Can’t beat that, was thrilled to support a company from Clearwater.

They did my panels really well they match well with my metal roof. My neighbor was the one to put me onto affordable he has a system as well. I’m really glad we went with them because I haven’t had any issues at all.

Affordable made this whole solar system process very easy if I must say. Not once did I feel pressured into anything they just gave me what I needed to see and we went from there. Each step was easy as well. Install crew was clean and fast. System was turned on real quick after connection and meter swap.

They were very professional on time and didn’t disappoint me. It was a pleasure to deal with them honestly not stressful once so ever. Will be interested to see the long term savings from going Solar.

I work a busy schedule, they installed around my schedule so I appreciate that. I work in construction as well so I can appreciate an efficient team. Other companies tried to sell me after I already met with Affordable- none seems as trustworthy.

We were an absolute no when Affordable first came to meet with us. We listened to their sales and were pleasantly surprised. Paying in full allowed us to have a ROI in 5 years & never have to worry about bout a crazy light bill again. I’m happy to have the system up and running quickly, and it’s nice to know we can add more panels down the road if we need to heat the pool or increase our usage.

Six years of holding off

I’ve been looking into solar for about 6 years before pulling the trigger. I’ve been waiting for the technology to improve and make a more significant difference in the billing. With prices increasing like they are in Florida I knew it was time to switch. After waiting 6 years, I was satisfied with the interest rates and difference in bill costs. Now that it’s said and done I can say Affordable is the real deal! Punctual or ahead of schedule at all times! Amazing how quickly they were able to get my house through permitting, install, and inspection. We signed papers 9/25 and finished 11/02.

Delighted

Delighted when I found out our project only took about a month! I thought for sure it would be another 3-4 weeks for the inspection to happen after the install but to my surprise Affordable let me know we got our permission and our system was on in no time! They have their process smooth and organized, definitely the right choice for Solar installers. Affordable stood out to me from their honest sales team, Josh was very relatable and had my best interest in mind.

I’m so happy to have the system up and running! Right when we wanted to install the solar our AC started leaking the same week so we had to replace all the ductwork before going forward with the solar. Happy to have that headache done and be able to move the process for solar along. Affordable’s people were very nice anytime we needed anything and felt a lot less pushy than the other companies.

Super excited to see what this solar system can do for us. Saw a good opportunity to get onto solar after thinking about it for awhile and finally did with affordable they’ve been great all the way through.

Left a little scrap metal in the yard when they installed but that’s not a big deal considering how efficient they were. I don’t like using my phone for much so knowing Affordable can monitor my panels for me is a big plus.

Excellent all around, I’m a certified electrical and mechanical engineer so my standards are high and they lived up to my high expectations. I ran comparisons online and looked into the hardware they were offering, overall the most competitive offer.

Very professional and polite. They did a fantastic job all around for me I have no complaints me and my neighbor got a system at the same time.

Wee wanted to support a local company and I’m so happy we found Affordable Solar Roof & Air. Their main selling point for us was be my both a solar and roofing company. We knew they’d do the roof properly and would know how to fix it if needed. Easy to trust our salesman, we learned he was going to be a neighbor soon so he’ll be there if we need Dow. The road.

Consistency

Happy to give a 10/10. I checked out 5 companies but Affordable stood out as the most consistent based on price, feedback, customer service, and project time.

I do not write reviews often, but I had to take a minute to say how pleased I am with my recent experience with Affordable Solar! From my sales guy Neil to Spencer who visited my home today, the entire experience was top notch! I've just completed the install and activation of Solar panels for my home. After many years of declining the offer to get solar, rising electricity cost finally forced me to take a serious look. Affordable Solar really made the process, not only easy, but easy to understand. Neil was thorough and professional. The staff reached out several times during the process, just to let me know how things were going.. The last step was a visit from Spencer who came by to turn on the panels and explain the monitoring process. Spencer was prompt, very courteous and explained everything I needed to know. I had a great experience with this company. If you are considering getting solar, I would definitely recommend them.

Definitely would recommend to go with them if you want a quick and simple process. They really did everything for me and made it super simple. Installers were nice and here for 1 day. Cleaned up very well and were super respectful I give it to them for being up on that hot roof. Can’t wait for my energy savings to start coming along soon now that the system was just activated.

I was put onto affordable Solar through my neighbor down the street who recommended I get in contact with them about a solar system because he went through them and had a really good experience so I decided to join him and I can vouch it was worth it in all ways. They are helping me save on my electric cost and saved me from having a headache during the process of doing everything. They had my system up and running in what felt like no time at all really appreciated that because I’ve heard some stories about different companies making you wait forever.

I’m happy with how everything went it was quick and smooth. I liked my sales rep and how they communicated with me through put the whole process. The installers were nice and worked fast. This will be perfect for getting rid of my electric bill.

Michael was nice when coming out and showing me the app and actually turning on my system. Rae from the office was very helpful as well and my sales rep of course. Panels look great on the roof and are running good. Can’t wait to start saving on my bill.

Very happy to have it powered up, easy understand the Enphase app. Spencer came out to walk me through the app and get my WiFi connected with an extender, wouldn’t have been able to do that myself so I appreciate it!
