Solar Panel and Micro Inverter Install

7.15 kw system

I had been interested in getting some info on solar panels and put my zip code and phone # into an ad on my cell phone. Got a call in a few minutes from a solar company in California. They were able to give me a bid and send info by email. Then I decided to see what I could find in Texas and located one in Austin, one in Houston and one in Tyler. I then had 4 bids to compare. After several back and forth conversations with each of the companies, I found that Rudy Wright was able to offer the best advice and the best price. After making the deal, he drove about 5 hours to inspect my home and within a month he came out with a crew of 3 men who installed the solar panel system, a generac generator and a tankless propane water heater (after removing my old electric one) within 4 days. The electric co-op came out 4 days later and put in a new meter starting at 99999. It has been running backwards ever since. The latest number since the last 21 days was 99694.

Residential 10Kw

Ever since I moved from Michigan to Texas Solar energy has been on my mind. I started researching the subject last fall and had various installers look at the site and give me estimates. Rudy had the right price and he seemed to care about what I wanted more than any of the other installers. He also has a history of installations and his reviews at this and other sites are all outstanding. He always gave me solid advice and designed a system that met my needs and expectations. He took care of all permits and made sure I got the most out of the incentive money available. Installation was on time and went without a hitch and the panels look like they belong, not like an afterthought. He also took care of the paper work with the electric delivery company and the incentive money was paid sooner than I expected. The system has been up and running and so far it has exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend Wright-way if you are thinking about getting solar.

Residential solar energy system

We are very happy with our system and with everything that went along with it. Rudy Wright walked us through the whole process. We knew nothing about solar residential service until our builder put us in touch with Rudy. As a matter of fact, the builder bought a system from Rudy after sitting in on our meeting. We love it.

2016 install

Rudy an I have been in touch for several years. When we decided to install we agreed on price and date. The install was smooth and all wiring is underground to remote site on property. The unit produces (sunny days) as labeled and as I was told. Install is clean and extra plug ins and we'll labeled breaker boxes, disconnects, etc... make for a easy to understand system for anyone to use.

Rural solar install, northeast Texas

Rudy and crew installed a 10kw system on the roof of our barndominium. I had his crew do some other minor work at the same time. I found Rudy and his crew supervisor to be great to work with. There were a couple of minor issues during install that required us to flex around the plan, but Rudy and his crew supervisor took care of me. I had a pre-existing manual generator cutoff that Rudy was able to integrate into the system design. This allows me to operate on solar backed by mains, or by pure solar (drastically reduced output supported by the inverters), or by gasoline generator. I had opportunity to test this last month and ran the barn/house (minus AC) on pure solar (without batteries) for a few hours during a mains outage. Rudy sent me the review form a while back, but I asked him to let me hit my anniversary of install, which was last week, before righting the review. We were about 2-4% over what he guaranteed at sales meeting for annual generation (15kw+). Overall very satisfied, have recommended to other interested buyers, and would use again.

This Guy Knows His Business

We had debated going solar for about seven years. We had already switched to hybrid cars in 2003, but the cost of solar panels/systems and our lack of understanding of how they worked, their stability and the return on investment were obstacles for us. Rudy Wright was the second person who came out and surveyed our property and gave us an estimate. But, ultimately, for several reasons, he was the one we chose to do our install. The number of installations he has done, his willingness to give us references and allow us to talk with his other clients, and his ability to customize what we wanted, including working with a carpenter to build us a structure to house our control panels and battery bank, were the reason we chose Wright-Way Solar Technologies. Rudy understands state and federal laws regarding solar, and he knew about all of the rebates, which saved us 30% through tax credits. Solar is an investment. It is also a sensible part of being prepared. Customer service is a rare commodity these days. Rudy possesses great customer service and always responds promptly if we have a question. Phase One of our project is complete, and we are preparing for Phase Two. I highly recommend Wright-Way Solar Technologies and we couldn't be happier.

Wright-Way submitted a proposal on August 26, 2014. The materials were ordered and construction was completed by September 17, 2014 for the agreed price. The products and installation are very good. The electricity produced has met my goals except that we have had much higher rainfall and cloudy weather than normal. I could have used better advice on the difference between the Interconnection Agreement and the Solar Sell Back Agreement. I highly recommend Wright-Way as a solar energy contractor.

Fantastic job

From start to finish the information, guidance and installation of our solar array has been wonderful. The after sales support is the best. Solar is definitely a learning experience, so having someone willing to be called for every little question is very reassuring.

Excellent installation

Rudy Wright installed an off-grid system for the workshop at my farm this past summer. The project was finished on schedule as promised. To date it has worked as promised. When I did run into a problem, Rudy promptly came out to troubleshoot and determined I had wired a short circuit into some lights I had installed. No problem with the system. I would definitely recommend Wright-Way and will use them when I build a house in the next 5 years or so.
