Honestly, going solar with Venture Solar was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The whole team was super easy to work with, especially Philip Jiang — he explained everything in plain language, no pushy sales talk, just straight-up helpful advice. From the very first consultation, he was professional, knowledgeable, and patient in answering all my questions about solar energy. The installation process was seamless — the crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left everything spotless. Within weeks, my system was up and running, and I immediately noticed the difference in my energy bills. What really impressed me was their commitment to customer service. They walked me through the monitoring app so I can track my energy production in real time, and they’ve been quick to respond whenever I have follow-up questions. Venture was Truly Excellent
They were simply superb. So so SO much better than the 5 other companies we went to. Venture went all out to get the Landmarks Commission to Approve us (we are in an historic district and no other vendors wanted to bid after learning this) Venture stayed with us and spent an incredible amount of time designing a system Landmarks would approve AND that fully met our needs Every person we spoke to was unfailing polite, helpful and MOST IMPORTANT, knowledgeable. Installation was careful, professional and caused no problems at all (despite our 4 story house). They also arranged a new roof (ours was well over 35 years old) at an exceptionally competitive price. The contractors were fantastic and even swept the leaves in our back yards free of charge. VENTURE PROVED TRULY EXCEPTIONAL. Excellent in EVERY way

Worry-free experience
We talked to a LOT of different vendors before deciding on Venture, but they had the best combination of timeliness and responsiveness, along with a reasonable quote. They handled all the red tape with utilities and the city inspectors, and were very clear in setting expectations about installation timelines and the level of power generation we'd see. Everyone I dealt with was cheerful and professional. 5/5 stars!

After my roof leaked, I decided to install solar panels while replacing the roof. However, the system has only achieved about 80% of its designed capacity. About two months after the installation, my roof began leaking again around the skylight area. The Venture team told me that neither they nor the roofing company they subcontracted were responsible for the issue, since I had signed an agreement to keep the skylight. This is absurd, as I had specifically asked them to fix the leaking issue. They never told me that replacing the skylight was necessary. When their team came to inspect, they only measured the size of the skylights without providing any real inspection or assessment. Be careful when choosing this firm — they do not seem committed to protecting their clients’ interests. The company also does not appear to have a reliable roofing contractor, despite what they claim.

Review on Venture Solar
The Venture Solar installation crew showed up when they were scheduled and completed the job within the scheduled timeframe. They had 6+ people, all were very polite and considerate. I had concerns of potential ice issues where electrical conduits ran across roof joint valleys and the team added additional bracing for those areas. They truly did an outstanding job. They have a very high risk job, but did every task and took every step with care and consideration for each other’s safety. After the job was complete, they talked to me about the installation, what to expect for taking care of the system, what would I need to consider if I wanted to expand it further or attach a battery backup system and if I could still use my generator when power is lost… this was one of the best contractor teams I have ever worked with. They did an outstanding job!
