Great experience!

Bryan and the entire team at Sunwork were amazing. We are very happy with our system and what we received. For folks like us that use less than $100 a month in electricity, it was amazing to find a group like Sunwork that makes solar a financially reasonable option. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Perfect company could not be more happier

Great company, great people, great communication, always on time, a lot lower price quote then other solar companies due to their volunteer work strategy, very good customer service. The whole project was done on time as promised. In the end of the project, the cost was lower then quoted. Owner can participate in the whole install process.

A+ Solar Service!

SunWork was top notch! They installed a 9.24 kW solar system at our church and its working like a charm. Their price was even $10,000 less than competitors because they are a nonprofit and use volunteers to help install the system. All their staff were super friendly, down to earth, and passionate about this mission. I highly recommend them A++

SunWork is amazing

All I can say is WOW. These guys are so professional from beginning to end. We didn't think we could get solar, due to our small electric bill and small house. But because putting solar on small houses with low electricity bills are their specialty, SunWork was able to help us. They were all so patient with me (and I am clueless about electricity), explaining everything really well, every step of the way. I have felt so well-taken care of. And if that were not enough, the final price came out to be several hundred dollars less than the estimate and because they are a non-profit they were able to pass that savings on to me. I'm SOO excited that we are now generating our own power and saving money. A total win-win. Doesn't get any better than that!

Thank you, Meo!

Had an excellent experience with Meo and Paul from SunWork - both were incredibly professional. Paul scheduled the initial meeting and answered all my questions on what to expect from SunWork and explained their philosophy around making solar available to homes such as mine that use less than $100 / month in electricity - amazing organization and mission! Meo did a great job explaining what type of system and how many panels he recommended for my home based on my current and anticipated future usage (hoping for 2 EVs!). On the day of the install, he and his team did an excellent job and even finished a day sooner than originally planned - which freed up my Sunday. All in all, an excellent experience thanks to Meo, Paul, and the volunteers at SunWork! I would highly recommend it to family and friends.

Very Happy Solar System Homeoweners

We met with 6 different vendors. Sunwork Renewable Energy Projects offered excellent panels (equipment) with great warranties (better than most) and panels made in Canada. Furthermore, we love the idea of supporting an organization that is training on the job for people to work in the industry. We spoke with personnel and volunteers working for the organizations. Top Solar Panel experts were volunteering for Sunwork which spoke highly of the integrity of the work. We knew we had to be patient since they are NOT eager to sell panels and they do NOT work on commission; thus, communications are a bit slow. However, everything else was outstanding. My husband has expertise in the industry and couldn't be happier with the results. We highly recommend Sunwork! _ Best at outstanding prices!- Just be patient. They don't have a secretary and salespeople.

Great Solar company for low electricity usage customer

I first learn about SunWork is through a web search "Solar for under USD 100 electricity usage". So I contacted a few big-commerce solar companies and sunwork for their cost estimation for my 3.2K Solar system. Paul's qualifiication call and draft quote is very transparent and competitive, it is so transparent that you do not want to DIY. later on, project lead Meo (great guy) came onsite and did a very through site survey, very professiional and answered many of my questions. Compare to this, other company is mainly doing sales pitch. The contract signing process is very smooth and fast. We were set for installation after 3 week of contract signature. The installation is completed in one day from 8am-5pm and looks very nice. Meo also did a final review on the installation and make sure everything is set for inspection. 3 days after installation, city inspector came and the system passed as expected. 5 days after installation, Net-metering is also completed. It has been almost a month and we are using our own green electricity from the roof. Wonderful services and thank you, SunWork. I would recommend them to my friend.

Great installers and very useful experience

SunWork helped us install a 4.2kw system last week. Bryan (the project lead) was very knowledgable and spent a lot of effort in finding the best configuration for our roof. They let the homeowner take part in the installation and I learned a lot about the whole system. Excellent communication from the beginning to the end.

A Job Well Done

Reuben and his team did a great job. The job was done on schedule and very quickly over one weekend. Reuben even worked late on a Saturday night to make sure this got done. Reuben is a good guy and has good patience. The panels are working good. Estimated production is 7400 kWh per year and average so far is 7800 kWh. We are making good use of the solar energy as we now have two electric cars. The price for the solar panels and installation was significantly lower than other quotes I obtained. You really can't go wrong with hiring Sunwork to install your solar panels.

Very happy with SunWork

I contracted with SunWork to install a 3.315 kw solar system on my roof. Price: The quote from SunWork was 40-60% lower than all the quotes from other solar companies. I had wanted solar for many years, but it was always to expensive to install a small system. This was the first time that it made financial sense to get solar. Not only was the quote lower, the final price turned out to be $300 LESS than than the quote! I love saving money! Speed: He had the system installed in just a few days. The city inspector came out and approved it a week later. Then PG&E approved it a week after that. I am impressed the whole process took less than a month. Quality/Service: The solar system works great. They cleaned up after themselves. They took the time to route the wires in the least noticeable way. Overall: I would highly recommend SunWork.

Incredibly friendly and a great value

Our project was larger than typical for SunWork, but since we're a two-EV household, they configured a great system for us. I'm also happy to support a non-profit organization that's providing solar energy and volunteer opportunities in our community.

Utmost Respect for Reuben Veek and his Company

Reuben at Sunwork Renewable Energy Products is organized, efficient, values-driven, and extremely hard working. Our panels were installed quickly and work great! We are enjoying electricity bills of $0, and credit with our local electricity provider for those times when we need more electricity than we produce. Reuben is patient and persistent in a good, low-key way, and never dropped any balls. He has a big heart. I have the utmost respect for him and his company.

Response from Sunwork Renewable Energy Projects

Without reservation, I would recommend this installer to others. I guess I forgot to mention that since Sunwork is a non-profit training company and most installation labor is done on a volunteer basis, our cost was $30,000 less than the competitor's. That was good too! Going with Sunwork is a great decision. You won't regret it.

quite satisfied

We got quote from other solar companies for sub $100 monthly bill, no one could beat sunwork renewable energy. Bryan Noel came for inspection and provided different options like high efficiency panels, central inverter vs individual one etc. Our roof is not exactly south facing. We got 15 panels installed with 12 facing south east and 3 facing north west (mostly west). Bryan and his volunteers did an awesome job in setting conduit to electrical panel with our drilling holes etc, explained and worked with city for approval and got PG&E approval as well. All of which was seamless. Within a week we got panels installed, city approval completed and PG&E net metering approved. I would strongly recommend Sunwork renewable Energy projects for residential solar.

Fantastic Installation

SunWork was beyond a pleasure to work with. From my initial consultations with them to after the installation, it has been a breeze and a pleasure. We are so happy with SunWork. The pricing is amazing. Their professionalism, knowledge and quality of their work is exceptional. The installer we worked with Meo, was so gracious, prompt, knowledgable and did fantastic work. He was patient and explained to us parts of the system whenever we had any questions about it. My wife and I feel like we can explain solar panel systems to any lay person. The quality of the panels to the inverter are the best. Please, please, do yourself a favor and use SunWork.

Neat, Clean, and On Time

The crew from SunWork Renewable Energy showed up on time on a Saturday morning in early July and went to work without any delay. By the end of the day they had completed the installation and the panels were cooking along. The installation was cleanly done with much of the conduit installed in the attic and a minimum of exterior conduit. Our next door neighbor, who had a system installed by another company, expressed envy at the neatness and minimum exterior clutter in our system. SunWork got the permits and arranged the inspection with the City in a timely fashion. They also followed up with the paperwork for P.G.& E. which was approved efficiently. the price was as quoted and we are extremely happy with the result. We are recommending them to friends whose installation will likely qualify. Keep up the good work.

Response from Sunwork Renewable Energy Projects

Absolutely! Have done so already and will continue to do so.

Truly Awesome

I have been looking to install solar in my home for over 7 years. In due course I moved home and I met with Reuben. I could tell when I met him for the first time what a great person and professional he was. he explained things to me and worked with me. Due to various reasons I couldn't get it installed right away but in the three years since I met him first, he kept in touch answering my questions and checking in with me. I finally decided it was time to move ahead and he did it all in 5 days. Even during the install he was courteous and answering everything I wanted to know. My system finally turned ON today from PGE and I am super happy!. I would recommend them. Oh and during the three year time I did get quotes from others and no one could even come close to the pricing or for that matter be as nice as Reuben. Thank you and I am going to recommend them to all of my friends and family. Oh and btw, I am know in my friends circle to be the go to guy when it comes to electric cars or solar etc. so expect to hear from more of them!

A pleasure to work with, excellent people and work

Reuben and his team were a pleasure to work with, and completed the job professionally and courteously, and within their original bid. Excellent work and a great price

Reuben and Mario did a great job on our project. We were very happy they went the extra mile to design a system that worked with our difficult roof, and still look good with all the plumbing vents. They were also able to tap into our old electric setup without requiring an electric panel upgrade. All other installers we talked to wanted extra for a panel upgrade. During the install, they also took the extra effort to run the conduit through the attic, and to paint the conduit on the roof. If they are a little slow to reply to email in the beginning, don't let that deter you.
