Overcoming the challenges of a three-month installation period, the exceptional final result justified the wait, and the consistent communication was an added benefit throughout the process.

My rep Kevin was upfront and honest about the whole process. He communicated well with me and warned me about all the possible hiccups along the way. My overall experience was good and I have recommend them to friends and family that’s had a good experience as well.

Very pleased
Kevin was up front and honest from the beginning. I had a well known solar company come to my door a few weeks before, and try to give me a very bad deal. One of Kevin’s associates knocked on my door a few weeks later and I met with Kevin. His offer was substantially better and he informed me that it would take approximately 3 months after install to get up and running, and there might be a few snags along the way. Indeed there was, however everytime I messaged Kevin with a concern he immediately answered back and addressed the situation. So far my short lived experience with this company has been great. Would definitely recommend giving them a chance.

Wonderful company
We’ve had solar for almost two years now. Suntria has been wonderful to work with. Our sales rep was upfront and honest and we have referred many of our friends to them. I would highly recommend them after researching various other companies.

Bad customer reps that will ghost you
If you considering Solar for your house, don't use Suntria. The a sales rep from them was a guy named Nick Tocher. If guy you're talking to this guy ask for a different person or better yet use a different company. He got me to roll another loan in to the solar loan, but then didn't tell me how the first loan is going to be paid off, until after I'd sign for the solar loan. Also Nick promised me 3 months connected to solar before I would have to make the first payment on the solar loan. This is were the deal goes shady, instead of the banks paying each other, the money is supposed to be dispersed to HIM and HE has to bring me a check. He lied about when Suntria got paid from the loan company saying the solar has to be completely installed and connected before Suntria gets paid. After Suntria got paid and the solar is connected, instead of bringing me a check he gave vague answers as to when he's going to bring the check and when the money was to be dispersed to him. He lied to me about what is causing delays in the project when delays occur as well. This all started back in August 2023 for me, the solar was installed in September 2023. I spoke with Nick asking about the money to pay of the first loan, he stated that Suntria doesn't get funded until Solar is completely connected to the power grid, this was a lie. I spoke with the loan company in October 2023 and was informed Suntra was paid back in September 2023. I asked Nick about this and he changed his story to he doesn't get his disbursement until the solar is completely connected to the power grid. So I ask Nick what was remaining to get the solar connected, he told me Suntria is waiting on OG&E due to a shortage of their smart meters. In November 2023 I called OG&E, and was informed this was also a lie. OG&E was waiting on Suntria to come fix a connection before OG&E would be able to inspect and install said smart meter. I asked Nick about this and he stammered and changed his story again. In December 2023 the solar loan is now wanting paid and the solar is installed but not connected to my power or the grid. Finally in January 2024 Suntria fixes their connection issue. Then OG&E does their inspection and installation on the same day a few days later. I contact Nick letting him know that all the solar has finally been connected asking when I can get the money to pay off the loan that was rolled in to the solar. I'm still trying to get this money from him and his company. I am tired of this sales rep ghosting me to the point I have had to contact people in their headquarters, to deal with their employee and the theft of my money at this point.

SCAMMERS..
Suntria is a total scamming company. They paint such a pretty picture, promising things they won't do just to get you to sign and for them to get paid. i now owe on an almost $40,000 while still getting electric bills.. i never got the Generac i was promised by the sales guy. the sales guy also made it seem like i was going to get $11k at tax time. turns out it just reduces amount in taxes owed, which we don't owe anyway.. so we just don't see that 11k to put towards paying off the loan. and pretty certain they block any number i call from because it always go straight to voicemail until i call from a new number. i'm telling you, AVOID SUNTRIA AT ALL COSTS. they are out here scamming people!!!!

Great Company
I met with Stephen a while back and fell in love with solar. My utility bills were around 120$ on average a month so I was kind of skeptical on how this would work. I thought to myself there is no reason on why I should switch, I was wrong! Stephen explained everything to me and my husband and told us how this would all work. I felt really comfortable with the whole thing. He explained to us on how we can benefit from the tax credit and how ownership of the panels is way better than paying the utility companies. I mean come on I'm basically throwing my money away with Oncor. The really nice part about the whole thing is it didn't cost me anything out of pocket to get them installed. Sunrita also reimbursed me for the first three months. I would recommend solar to anyone who has a brain. Stephen is an amazing guy, if you are interested, I recommend reaching out to the company and asking for him, or just wait for one of his reps to knock on your door ha-ha.

Suntria
This is nothing but a joke. Paid for this system in January 2023. It was supposedly turned on the 2nd of August. Like hell it was. The battery system has not been commissioned nor the system commissioned as of the 5th of December 2023. Also found out the so called insurance company (SOLARINSURE) stopped doing business with Suntria in 2022. But according to my contract is the insurance company for my system. That is FRAUD.. So if you have a solar system installed by Suntria, you should be going through the contract.

Owner
No response from voice mails and they will not contact Sonnen about the battery issues. Akso electric bills no where near what they stated and still about as high as before solar

Don’t use these guys
I contracted in May to have solar panels installed. Still waiting. They keep saying that OGE is the problem but they can’t seem to get my solar installation finished. Have had at least 6 inspections done so far and 4 panels don’t work. Getting really tired of this. They asked me to call NEP customer service which I did and we were able to fix one of the panels. They asked me to call NEP again and NEP said someone needed to be on the roof while they troubleshot the issue. I told the solar guys that I was 62 and had paid $46K for this system and I don’t do roofs any more. While these guys are “contractors” Suntria is ultimately responsible for their work and will be named in the lawsuit. If they can’t make it work they need to pay someone who can. I have 18 solar panels that work, I paid for 21. That comes out to $2200 per solar panel. They owe me $6600 for the non working panels and attorney’s fees. If this isn’t acceptable they need to come remove the panels all together and pay my attorney fees, then cancel the loan ($46000 + attorney fees)
