Everything on our project took way longer than expected, and then when they were done there were things that didn't work correctly. Plan design - 2 months, Permitting - 2 months. Permitting would have been faster if I had known I needed to sign things (multiple times). That started the "90 day" expected completion. Original install was the fastest thing - less than 2 months. But then there was product failure after product failure. I sort of have to trust them that 4 batteries and 3 inverters were all faulty (manufacturer did replace them after extensive trouble shooting) - but that bad string of luck really could have been install protocols too. The second star was earned just by the fact that the team eventually pulled it all together and got us the product that we had paid for. It took a full 12 months - easily 6 months late. Management didn't even consider a reduction in price for all of the delays and inconvenience to me the customer. What should have been 2 days for install/testing ended up being 20 visits or more.

I dealt with several members of the Sunshine team during my solar installation (solar panels plus Powerwalls) and every single person displayed very good knowledge, excellent service, courtesy and efficiency. I would definitely recommend Sunshine to anyone considering solar installation.

No one will say when the promised system will be installed. It has been three months and no indication of interest in getting the 15 panels and batteries on my roof.

SRS Service Dept. was phenomenal!! They came in and repaired solar panels they did not install. I bought my panels from a company that had gone out of business, and SRS was willing to repair them. My solar panels were no longer communicating with my home or app. The representative who supported me on the phone was very professional, and worked quickly to get a technician to me. When Ulises arrived, he was professional, quick, and highly knowledgeable. He explained to me everything that was going on, and corrected the problem. Thanks to Sunshine Renewable Solutions, I am back online saving money! I highly recommend their maintenance service even if you do not have panels with them. Peace of mind is Priceless!!

The team at Sunshine was extremely helpful and professional starting with our energy consultant/designer engineer Shannon Munden. We did a lot of shopping around and no one compared with our experience with Sunshine. Most of the companies were really “sales-y” and couldn’t answer our technical questions. Shannon has tons of solar experience and actually has a system on his roof so he was able to really understand and address our questions and concerns. It definitely took longer than we wanted but we couldn’t be happier with our system and the team at ☀️ Sunshine.

If you're looking for a company you can trust look no further than Sunshine Renewable. We ran into a few snags in permitting and initial install but everything was made right and promises were delivered on. If they say they will take care of something, you can trust it will get done.

Sunshine installed my solar panels 12/14/22. I signed the contract 7/31/22, so it took 4.5 months from deposit to install. I was not going to leave a review, but the owner asked me to and he said to be honest. Pros: Installers were nice, quality seems good. Sales guy was nice, great presentation. Cons: Project Manager missed every date they committed to. Made up excuses or just didn't show up. Went over the original timeline. No after installation instructions or help setting up. Example 1: Project Manager said the reason we had gone past 90 days without hearing anything was a change in permit requirements that rejected their submission. This was sent to me in email. I called the city permit office and there were no changes, the PM had simply never submitted them. The Frisco permit office has a 24 hour turnaround time. Example 2: Some back and forth and I then called to cancel our order to get a response from them and sales guy put me in touch with the owner. We had an install date set up for that week. The installers did not show up. I contacted the project manager and he said he doesn't micro manage his team and he was unaware where they were. This was sent to me in a text. I had high hopes for them based on other reviews, so I hope you have better luck.

Received very prompt and professional service prior to and during installation. Installation was completed within two days but that is where everything seemed to stop. Every step of the activation of the panels required that we instigate a series of phone calls to keep the project moving forward as there seemed to be little to no communication after the panels were installed. Once operational, we were advised by multiple members of Sunshine Renewable to go with Rhythm Energy as they provided the best buyback in our area. A few months in and our electrical bills are almost double what they were before we started this process in addition to the cost of the panels themselves. We have also been informed that our panels are underperforming and not providing anywhere near what was quoted and as such will most likely not see any surplus energy produced meaning little to no buyback credit. We can give top stars for Sales Process, Price and Schedule but until our panels produce something meaningful I would have to rate poorly for Installation Quality adn After Sales Support has been nonexistant.

The guys showed up on time and installed the solar panels on my roof in Dallas. The job only took about 2 days and they were polite and cleaned up after the job was done. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.

Excellent experience from beginning to end. Sales experience was informative, low pressure, and respectful. They respected my bid process and made a very competitive proposal. I opted for a Black on Black solar system for a cleaner appearance on my roof. They made several alterations to the system in design and installation to give us a very pure black on black look. The installation team worked very hard on hot Texas mid summer days to install the system. I am very happy with our decision to go with Sunshine Renewable Solutions.

For anyone that wants a polite and quick solution to their system problems, this is the company to get it done. I had problems finding an expert on my system and after two weeks of calling many companies, this firm came to my rescue. Not only did they do a great job of getting everything done, the individual, Sid Chandrashekar, came to Georgetown, TX on his weekend trip, and took the time to visit my home. Very polite and friendly. I could have not ask for a better experience. Highly recommend these people for your solar needs.

Scott, Sid and Cody had it spec'd out, priced, installed and up and running with PTO in about 5 weeks. This is extra fast since I'm outside city limits and did not require many permits. When business runs as it is suppose to, we don't have much to say other than ... GREAT JOB, GREAT TEAM. I expected the system to be functional within a certain time frame and it was. I expected the system to run nice and smooth, and it does. Few hiccups were efficiently addressed. Hiccups are part of the job especially when dealing with a tremendous amount of paperwork (fully out of their control), field activities and difficult clients (I do consider myself rather demanding). A professional turn-key experience with a good company…beginning to end. Cudos to Jeff (owner), Cody, Donovan, George & Sid. A well put-together company. Accommodated my request for specific panels. System is performing extremely well despite it being early in the year. I opted to oversize the system for a future electric car purchase. Situations and enquiries were quickly addressed. I had a 10.56 kv system consisting of 32 Panasonic solar panels put in by Sunshine Renewable Solutions. Installation was completed in the last week of September. I just got my first full month power bill (for October) and it was a $87.84 cent credit. In the past I normally consumed about 900-1000 kwh a month. This system will save me a lot of money. The company was very responsive, very nice people to work with , and offered a wide range of products

After being ignored by several other solar installers, Sunshine owner Jeff promptly came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate for replacing the microinverters in my existing photovoltaic system. Despite their busy schedule, and despite having to source some unusual hardware, Sunshine were able to squeeze in my small job in a reasonable time. It's great to have the system acting like new again. I appreciate the attention and care from Jeff and project manager Cody, and I will definitely call them again if I need anything! The reasons for my strong recommendation are as follows, 1) They are a team of highly trained, professional and courteous people and it is a pleasure working with them. 2) When I was thinking of going Solar, they walked me through the entire process of making a decision. They carefully laid out the pros and cons with detailed calculations. Never did I get a feeling that Solar energy was being thrust on me. 3) Once I decided to go Solar, I checked around with multiple installers. Theirs was the most economical and enthusiastic bid. 4) They took care of all permissions required for the installation (permissions from HOA, County etc). Never did I have to contact these agencies. 5) The installation was done in a timely manner with great detail for aesthetics. The installed panels look really nice. 6) I was kept educated and updated all through the process. 7) They also helped me decide on a utility company compatible with my Solar energy production. 8) The panels are now producing energy and thanks to an App that they provided, I can monitor in real time the amount of energy produced by each panel. 9) Overall working with them was a very pleasant endeavor. 10) They have my unqualified and unconditional recommendation.

It was a hard choice to make between several solar companies, but in the end I believe these guys did an awesome job. I wanted my electric bill to be as close to $0 as possible and I believe they accomplished that. Since I have a large lot, the best choice was to go with a ground mount instead of roof. Most of the other solar companies would not lower their price, but instead insisted that it was more expensive to put on the ground. Sunshine Renewable Solutions did the ground mount for the same price as a roof mount. Currently they are working out issues with a bad inverter which should be resolved shortly. I highly recommend these guys; Jeff, Adam, and Sid - all did a great job.

I originally contracted another company that had taken 16 months to get them to supposedly complete the solar installation on my house, only to find they didn't run the power from the solar panels to the inverter. Just empty conduit. Fortunately, I was contacted by Adam Miner with Sunshine Renewable Solutions, Who quickly gave me a fair bid on the completion of the job. They finished the job properly and took the time to make sure everything was correct. Thank you, Adam and Jeff, for a great job.

I very much enjoyed working with both Sid and Jeff at Sunshine Renewable Solutions. They were professional and capably completed the installation of a 13.2 KW solar system at our home. All of the seven references I called were unequivocally positive about their installations. Sid was disappointed in how long it took for the City of Houston permit and CenterPoint approval process, however the actual installation went quickly. The system has just come on line and is generating the expected amount of power to offset our yearly consumption. We have had no issues with their work and highly recommend them.
