Very Professional Installation

My installation was well communicated ahead of time and the crew arrived when they committed. During installation I was very impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of every crew member. They kept me informed as the installation went along and took time to answer any of my questions. After installation, the crew cleaned up and disposed of all trash. Very good experience throughout the entire process.

Just Dont do it!

Solar just isnt worth it. Originally a Sunpro client, which the project once they locked you in took an eternity. The project was not completed ontime and took over 6 months to get up and running. Its always great paying for something that is not working. Now that ADT bought Sunpro, the panels that have been operating less than 6 months one is already out. You think you could get someone out to fix it? Nope been out since Sept, many phone calls now it’s December and still cant get a date to fix it. Yes they tell you everything comes with a 25 year warranty, but warranties are garbage if they wont come fix faulty equipment. All you get are excuses that they are short staffed, or ADT wouldnt let them hire anyone. Anyways not my problem and ADT is not living up to what I was promised. My advice DONT DO IT and run away from solar as fast as you can!

These panels are a joke

The whole sales process turns out was a joke and a lie. We live on the gulf coast and were told that they are covered for 25 yrs and that included weather related events/storms. Turns out thats a lie, literally nothing is covered. It took several months after install for them to finally get turned out so we lost a full summer of production and we paid an electric bill and loan note for the panel. Fast forward less than a year later more than half our microinverters went out and after months of back and forth and less than timely responses from the customer service department we finally got back up and running. It's been less than a month now and we are back to having the same issues. This is beyond frustrating to have spent this kind of money to not have them working and producing like they should.

Great experience

Tony Price was the salesman who initially pitched solar to us. I was already interested, but he did a great job of explaining all the nuances of how the billing worked, payment options, and the credits and rebates that were available. He made it all sound great, and he was right. There were a couple of delays with the install, one based on our HOA, and another getting a City inspection, but those issues were outside the control of SunPro. There was a brief period between completion of the installation, and the activation with the electric company, but SunPro reimbursed us for the payments made in that period. Overall, we had a great experience with SunPro, and Tony always made himself available when we had questions about anything.

My Experience with ADT was remarkable. with the communication from Sales to the rest of the Team at ADT Solar to explaining and showing me the parts to be install gave me the confidence to trust on ADT for our big investment on going Solar. Through that process I got a text or call giving me the update on my solar panels prior to install and after. Thank you Sonia Faucher for your communication and putting attention to detail to all my concerns you really did go above and beyond my expectations. if anyone needs Solar go with ADT Solar and ask for Sonia Faucher 956-640-5550 her direct line. she always answers no matter what.

Scheduling and Service

Scheduling installation has been ridiculous, and overly difficult. My solar panels have been installed for over 6 weeks but electrician didn’t come out to connect then. I have been trying for 6 weeks to get that completed and get the system commissioned. No one returns calls, and when they finally do they have some kind of excuse as to way they can’t come and finish this project. I’m at the point with them they can come and get their solar panels and redo my roof from where they installed their crap and refund all the money. Save your money and time and avoid this company!

ADT Darrick Sigman

Darrick is very responsive. He continues to be accessible, provide answers, and connect me with the right people. I took a star from the review, not due to Darrick, but because it was 5 months from the time my panels were installed to the time they were in service and producing. Some of this delay was on the part of the utility company, Buckeye Rural, but it was apparent that ADT was in no hurry once they got paid. ADT did refund my payment for 4 of the months, but I lost potential solar credits during the best months of the year.

Overall Professional Service and Install! Quick process, my associate Sonia Faucher was very friendly and followed throughout the entire time. Communication was excellent! I would give 6 star! One extra for going the extra mile!

Installers arrived earlier than scheduled, worked thru the snow, and completed earlier than planned. They did an amazing job!!!

Do Not Use This Company

Began the process in December 2021, finally had my system installed on October 18, 2022 after being rescheduled numerous times. I have called, texted, emailed and cannot get a response on when my system will be functional. I'm essentially paying for $75,000 lawn ornament. I have called my account manager, Kevin Nulph and his supervisor, Jason Tanner and have not received any updates. I have emailed the customer support address provided in these reviews. I have called customer service and have been advised of updates by the end of day and have yet to hear from anyone after 10 days. This company has horrible customer service with absolutely NO communication. They promise you will never pay for both electricity and solar. However, this is not the case. You will be paying double for a system that is not benefitting anyone. Absolutely horrible. Do NOT use this company.

This is a SCAM

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are irresponsible, unreliable, extortionist and they place suboptional panels with unlicensed Electricion. They have no idea of how to run a company much less give zero customer service. Never call back. The just took $62,520 and ran. They changed their name from Sunpro to ADT Solar. Dont be fooled they are the same scammers. in contract they promised 95% energy independent I am only getting 20-50 energy independent whenever their Breaker doesn' t trip. I have had it trip trip 2 times and it took them several months to come out to fix the enphase Breaker. Finally an independent technician came by and told me the panels were suboptimal, miscalculated and placed in wrong places in my roof. Enless calls and they just ghost you. No response.

The solar installation failed Marana inspection.

The installation was completed on 10/21/2022. It failed the Marana city inspection on 10/27/2022. A minor correction is needed to pass inspection. I have made several phone calls and emailed ADT requesting a schedule to fix the problem. It has now been 10 days and no response from ADT. I'm worried that they may not complete the project during December 2022.

Jesse was GREAT with the solar process. He checked in, he was great with my kids, and even came on install day to make sure I understood everything and to answer any questions I had. I definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to get solar or even just explore the options!!

1 year into contract, still waiting

Took a few months to get the panels installed. Then the delays started and SunPro would just keep delaying. I’m now a full year into my contract and the final inspections still haven’t been installed. I’ve never dealt with such a bad company. They never schedule or tell me when I can expect anything. Stay far away from this disaster.

We were referred to Justin Bell, Solar Energy Specialist by our neighbors, who also had solar panels installed by ADT solar. Justin contacted us and came to our home for an evaluation on August 26. He was professional, answered all our questions and even after our first meeting, he was available for all our concerns at any time we needed him. He helped us understand all the tax credits and all the extras with the system (electric company credit, Light bulbs, energy saving extension cords, home energy evaluation) The representative assigned to us, kept us informed weekly about the paperwork that needed done with the electric company and county. Today, November 7, we had our installation done. The men were very professional and worked efficiently. They installed 40 panels in about 7 hours. The team worked well together. No garbage was left behind. The man who installed our thermostats, was so helpful in explaining the system, he walked us through the app for our phones and answered every question. Justin gave us a call tonight and asked to come check out the installation that was done today. I thought that was very professional. This company seems to care about their customers and products. We are so happy that we got our solar panels and system done by ADT Solar.

Job not completed

So the sales process was pretty good, however when ADT arrived to do the work they try to upsell me for an air cleaner for my central air unit. Which is why they received 1 star as opposed to 1.5 stars. Honestly the sales portion has been the only good thing from this experience to date. So first it took a few months to get an install date, which I expected. When we scheduled the first date for September 30th 2022 I was like finally. Then the day before I got a call saying they were going to have to reschedule because they didn't have enough people to do the job. I was annoyed they waited till the last minute to call me but chalked it up to employee shortages that everyone is experiencing. We were rescheduled for October 10th they never showed up and I had to call them to find out they couldn't come. Then we were rescheduled for the 14th so I was like fine. They did show up on the 14th and installed the solar panels and started the electrical work. It got dark and they were not finished the install. The electrician asked if he could return the next day because he couldn't see, I stated that would be fine BIG MISTAKE!!! The electrician called the next night around 730 to let me know he couldn't make it out and I would have to be rescheduled. I spoke with customer service on Monday and was told they would get back to me when they can reschedule me. It has been almost a month and I am still waiting. Quite frankly I am ready to tell them to come get their equipment and find a company that actually has the time and integrity to do the job that was agreed upon.

Large Job had 3 separate jobs done

This project involved removing my 1st array of 38 solar cells. Then Buildpro replaced my roof. Then the Final section involved reinstalling the 1st array and an additional 17 solar cells. I was kept updated as the permitting required took the longest. The 3 crews where professional and great workers. All 3 crews where knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Very happy with the total job.

Over paid

After doing extensive research, and talking to others. After signing the contract. I paid about 8-10 grand too much. The financing terms weren’t clearly explained. I get an email after the system is installed. Stating that the price in the contract is only good for 17 months. After that the price goes up 70 dollars unless i pay them the 26 percent of the total loan. Currently waiting on the energy audit items to given to me. I was very excited and happy when i first started the process, started giving recommendations right away..but now in good conscience, I can’t recommend ADT/Solarpro
