I just had my panels installed by ADT Solar, the whole experience has been great, they were always available to answer any of my questions, install was a great experience the electricians were available to answer any of my question, I highly recommend my Solar Specialist (Stan Gonzalez) he was always available to us.

Stay away you will regret it… Very Unprofessional

This is predatory company… My whole experience from signing the contract with ADT/SUNPRO Solar has been a nightmare drawn out installation disrespectful agents. Customer service is the worst. Multiple calls to them and they abruptly end the call… Called back and asked to speak to a manager or supervisor I was told that I would be wasting the managers time and then they hung up again… The issue I am dealing with now is after installation my roof is leaking at anchor point of the solar panel.. In January 2023 I reported the issue the guys came out said they fixed the issue now it June and we are back to square one leaky roof when it’s rains… and it’s hell trying to get them to come out and address the issue me living with a leaking roof on a brand new house… Why can’t we be people of integrity and honesty… simple do what you agree to do as I agree to pay everyone goes home happy….

Have been great to work with! Great communication. Have been very honest and true to their word. Have heard many horror stories from people who used other solar companies. These guys have delivered on all their promises so far!

Gage Mueller

I would like to give a huge Thank You to Gage Mueller that works for ADT Solar in Houston Texas. While we unfortunately did not purchase through ADT Solar Gage Mueller has stepped up and provided my husband and I with some much needed help when the company we bought through would not return calls, text, emails etc after install was finished. Gage has spent several hours chatting with me on facebook walking me through things. He has helped us with our app and understanding it. I have sent him screen shots of our app and found out the app is not working. He helped me with the right questions to ask the app customer service. Not only has he chatted with me on FB but he spent over an hour on the phone with me walking me through buyback companies. He has shown us there are truly people out there that do care and not in this business for the money. He isn't making 1 penny off of us. His heart to help is a breath of fresh air for sure. We were feeling defeated and knocked down. While our app is still not working correctly but it is being worked on we are on the downhill side of a bad situation. I just wish we had found Gage Mueller and ADT Solar before my husband bought from the company of nightmares. ADT Solar you have a good guy. Thank you Gage for all of your help so far and still willing to help to the end.

Do NOT use this company

ADT told me it would take 3 months to install my solar. It took 10 months. The day my solar was installed, I had a meter issue within 4 hours. When I called to get the issue resolved my site administrator didn't get back to me for a week. The issue happened on May 18th. When she finally got back to me, she said a tech wouldn't be able to come out until June 16th. I even emailed the CEO to find out why nobody returns calls, texts, or emails? Well... She has never returned my email either. This company just wants your mone and does NOT care about you once they get you to sign the contract. I urge you to find a solar company that is more local and one you can trust!

Terrible Service and Lack of Reimbursements - Avoid ADT Solar!

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service provided by ADT Solar. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to warn potential customers to stay away. First and foremost, I encountered significant damage to my property during the solar system installation process. Despite numerous promises from ADT Solar to reimburse the costs of repairs, I have yet to receive any reimbursement. The lack of responsibility and failure to honor their commitments is appalling. It is clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for ADT Solar. Furthermore, the level of service provided by this company is abysmal. The delays I experienced throughout the entire process were exasperating. From the initial consultation to the installation itself, it felt like a never-ending cycle of excuses and unfulfilled promises. ADT Solar's poor company processes have resulted in a frustrating and time-consuming experience. I must also highlight the issue that I had my system installed in December and still as of June the system is still not turned on. Despite my efforts to seek clarification and resolve this matter, ADT Solar provided no reasonable explanation. It is clear that they have no regard for transparency or honoring their contractual obligations. All the while pigeon-holing you with only one person who has the ability to support you or move you forward in your process. In conclusion, I strongly advise potential customers to avoid ADT Solar at all costs. Their service is subpar, their lack of reimbursements is inexcusable, and their poor company processes only contribute to a frustrating and disappointing experience. There are many reputable solar companies out there that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide reliable services. I regret my decision to engage with ADT Solar and hope that others can learn from my unfortunate experience. Please think twice before choosing ADT Solar for your solar needs. The worst company ever!!!! I’ve had nothing but problems from the beginning. They did not order the correct amount of materials then it was wrong size, then they did not clean up the nails, they did not have any communication and I had to call the guy in charge of the laborers to get any kind of updates. Worst ever call anyone else!

Was a fantastic experience! The team that came and installed got so much done in a day and made it nice and clean and got it done in the time they said they would.

Brittany Warren

Solar system was installed, however, left without inspection and completion for more than 6 months. ADT Solar failed to respond to customer grievance effectively for several months. Customer advocate Brittany Warren stepped in and ensured project completion and customer satisfaction in a highly professional manner. Brittany Warren saved the day for this project and reduced high risk and liability for ADT Solar.

Overall, I had a pretty good experience with ADT solar. I really appreciated the consistent weekly follow-up phone calls or SMS texts on the status of various phases of the installation and activation. ADT handled all essential contracting paperwork with CPS energy and my local HOA for approvals. CPS did take alot longer than I expected to commission the system, but I'll cut some slack given the lingering effects of COVID and probably greater demand for solar panel installations as a result of high inflation, so I was caught in a perfect storm. ADT however was a solid partner throughout the process. The panels I got are the Enphase SilFab with IQ8+ microinverters. So far the system is keeping me about 50-60% off dependency which is what I expected given the current configuration.

My time with Adt so far has been exceptional. Negotiating was the hardest part because I needed to get this product at a price I was confortable with but since then it’s been smooth sailings. Installation was quick and easy. Everything was installed and working within 6hrs and that’s because my home needed a little extra work. The best part is that after installation Mike from Adt has been there answering every question in a timely fashion. They are living up to being a company that will be with you for the life of your solar panels.

Total Fraud company!!

I signed contract with ADT Solar on Feb to add solar panels before new metering NEM2.0 starts in California. I informed them that we already have solar system with other company and they visited my home for three times to make their design. ADT sales representative said there will be no problem proceeding so I signed the contract. And deadline for NEM2.0 approval was approaching. I asked for status updates and sales representative said there is no issue as week before that deadline and after passing that day. If I ask for updates always replied with will give updates end of the day and that repeated for few days. And I got noticed from ADT that because of their design guideline they can't proceed with my contract and I lost all other options that I could have selected and now it is impossible to get approval for NEM2.0 since deadline has passed. And ADT project manager is not replying to my email and sales representative is now saying it's not his fault and disconnected from conversation. And upto now they are not coming back with any communication

New solar customer

Our purchase Date is 01/11/2023 and 5 months into the process we have not received 95% of the service and energy improvement Items as promised in the contract No energy audit No utility credit No energypro home efficiency package we got a bill from the company who provided funding this in addition to our regular energy bill ADT solar customer service says there is a back log so we may not be proceeding any time soon shame shame!!?

Excellent experience

Overall very professional team from start to finish. Fernando was very thorough on explaining to me about solar and being there even during installation making sure it’s done right. Installation team was on time and very friendly and very professional. Highly recommended.

Installation

The team of 5 workers that included the installers and electricians were all easy to deal with. They answered all the questions we had and were very professional. They cleaned up around the house, ensuring they left no screws or other material laying around. We would highly recommend using their services for any installation or project update.

Professional

The crew was supper friendly. We were impressed that they realized that a wire was not correct and the next day, in the pouring down rain, they came back to correct it. Overall, would suggest these guys to anyone. Thanks, George

Solar System Installation

Great support from sales rep, Rimal Disia , in Nov 2022 took care of 1st contract and loan, in Dec 2023 decided to add Batteries. Rimal took care of getting Batteries added. Great job. Once the planning and permits were done. Went through a number of project managers, but AmandA Cude was very helpful in getting project moving. Project install started Mar 20 & 21. 2023. Thanks Amanda. Installers did great job. Brandy Knighton Acct Manger was very helpful in keeping the project moving forward. Kept me informed of status, called numerous times, insuring project be on track. Thanks Brandy.

Great product and Installation. Unsatisfactory administration.

I first contacted ADT Solar sales representatives on July 21, 2022. The representative with whom I spoke assured me that the additional panels I requested would be installed within a few weeks of initial payment. After several discussions and changes, I received and signed a contract on September 21, 2022, and made the initial payment. The contract estimated that the approximate completion date for the work would be between 30 and 120 days (one to four months). Over the next seven months, I wrote repeatedly to ADT asking for an estimated installation date and for reasons for delays. My letters were either ignored, or resulted in unsatisfactory responses. It took nine months from the time I first requested the additional panels until they were finally installed on April 21, 2023.

Promises Broken

I had been assured by people in the company that if the roof was in poor condition in the area that they were going to put up the panels they would give me time to get my roof re-shingled before the panels would go up. They never told me anything was wrong with the roof and the panels went up. Later I had a roof inspection done due to some shingles on the front side of my house that needed to be nailed back down. After the inspection I was informed the entire roof needed to be done. Not only that but there were large bare spots on my roof under and around the panels. They then charged me thousands of dollars to have the panels taken off and put back up. The only silver lining in this whole situation is that my insurance was able to take care of it. If I did not I would be up that well known creek right now. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE FOR SOLAR PANELS THEY WILL TRY TO GET EXTRA MONEY FROM YOU IN THE WORST WAYS POSSIBLE.

7 Months and still not energized!

On 9/1 I signed an approval of this project. My husband and I were so excited to become solar customers and play our part for the environment. The panels were installed in December and electrician hooked up in January. On March 19, 2023 my husband died. We still do not have working panels. I am sad, and now I am angry. The finance company wants its money but I am so frustrated. Do not go with ADT solar.

Sunpro Solar

I worked with Gage Mueller and had a terrific experience. Gage is more than capable, the installers were excellent. They took the time to explain everything to me and answer any questions I had. One of the best decision I've made.

13 panel system.

It took a long time to get permits. Installation was quick without any problems. Quality workers who were very curtious. Panels produce more power than I use on a sunny day.
