I think they are understaffed and way behind and scrambling to get jobs done a two day job is now spread out over 3 weeks nothing they said is happening the way they said it was.

Don't do it

My husband I decided to get solar to do our part in reducing our carbon footprint and to hopefully have some power from the battery when the power goes out. However, now I am wishing I could rewind time and say no to this decision we have made. We felt like we had a very good and honest salesman; however, he told us we wouldn't get charged if the system wasn't working. He also told us it would take approximately 6 weeks to have our system installed. He didn't tell us that there would be several electric panels attached to the side wall of our house. BUT.... we signed our contract to get solar with Sunpro at the end of March today is September 23 the panels are on our home but not working. Today I get charged by the loan company. So not only am I having to pay my full electric bill now I'm having to pay for a loan too. That's $530 a month for both. They were first telling me they're waiting on a meter swap from my Electric company which our meter was swapped out in June. Then I was waiting on the Tesla battery which we have now had for a few months. Now they're telling me they are AGAIN waiting on a meter swap from my electric company. The guys that were doing the electrical components didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. It took them multiple attempts to get things installed, they put random holes in our brick wall (which someone did fix after complaining), they left gaps in the brick from where the old meter was and filled it in with ugly orange foam that is extremely visible (was told a while ago that someone was going to fix that). No one told me that several electric panels would be attached to our home let alone ask me where they needed to go. The side of our house faces the road, right where they installed all this crap. Now as soon as you pull up to our house you see all these panels and foam (looks horrible). I am a VERY unsatisfied customer. And now since I am paying for something that is not working I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I was also told by our salesman that we could pay for a portion of our loan with the tax credit which will bring our payments back down after they increase in a year. After hearing these other reviews I hope that's actually true. To me seems like this company is more concerned with getting paid than customer service.

Awesome Experience

We had Sunpro Solar come out and give us an estimate on having Solar panels installed. We were given a time line of about 12-15 weeks but they ended up installing them after about a month. They were done in less than a day and all of their employees were top notch including, Caroline, from their sister company Energy Pro. Coincidentally 2 days after the install we had a terrible storm blow through with lots of rain. We immediately started hearing a drip that sounded like it was inside the wall. That was on Sunday. On Monday I called the company and told them that we seemed to have a leak and I didn't know if it was their fault because it sounded like it was in an area that they did not install panels. First thing Tuesday morning they had a crew show up (4 guys) and they thoroughly checked our roof from the inside out. The problems they found indeed were NOT from their install but they went over, above and beyond to find the leak and help stop it until we can get the correct people out to fix it. Particularly, Anthony Seise, made sure he did everything he could to help. He was a God-send. He even took videos and pics of the problem area and showed us so we'd have proof when filing a claim. He and his crew could have stopped right there when they found out it was not their problem but continued to work to try to do a temporary fix since there's more bad weather on the way. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their crews and their work ethic. Anthony Seise is definitely an asset to their company. Thank you Sun Pro, can't wait to have everything running!

Two time homeowner and SUPER HAPPY`

I am two time customer and am loving every minute of it. I put solar on my first home in Dec. 2017, sold that home and made every penny of my money back with the solar on the house, plus it helped sell my home faster. We built a new home and solar was 100% going on the new construction. It has been about 7 months and I can't wait to see how it did and will be possibly be adding some panels in the future to help offset the usage I wasn't sure we were going to be using. I can't say enough good things about my solar and my experience! Sunpro has stuck by me as well as followed through on all their promises and if I ever purchased a third home solar is ABSOLUTLEY going on that property as well.

All Things Considered

System is not finished yet (two-weeks late). I am anxious to see how the system functions, which it appears will take another week. That will be three weeks from the initial designated starting date. Looks like the job that the electricians, and solar panel installers did is excellent (certainly looks great).....Anxious to see how the LG Panels function and operate through it's remote blue-tooth access. Looking for that "net-zero" electric bill. There is no doubt that Sunpro is one of the best. Ask me again after I have the system operating for 3 months.

They have a good rating with the BBB and their reviews were positive. After speaking with Alex, who explained what I would be getting, and Marco, who further explained the process of the purchase, I knew solar was the way to go. Great company!

My New Soñar panels experience

Sunpro Team was here all day reviewing/Installing the new solar panel system. I still surprised of the professionalism of this team installing all the equipment in highest temperatures 100+ Daniel the Install panel specialist explain me the process that they need to follow very clear. The Panels looks Amazing!!! Julio Pena The AC specialist also identified and fixed some of the problems that I had to keep my AC working in a perfect mode and Installed and Explained the new functionality of the new AC Thermostat. Nice Person great attention to me. Carlos the Electrician specialist also was very clearly explained me the process that they will do and notify me when the power needs to be shut down. The installations look very clean and professional!! And also, Jazmin Sanchez the Sales Person was very clear about all related with the new solar panels, she also was here during the installation in case that I have more questions regarding my new panels. She was very interested that sunpro provide me a progesional installation. I very comfortable with my Panels!!! I recommend 100 % Sunpro they did a good job and very clean Installation.

Excellent process and execution.

What I liked the most about these guys from the onset was they were able to tell me what I was getting why my equipment was important and what it did for me. They told me how it was going on my roof and why wouldn’t have any problems with leaks and how they guaranteed that. Basically they were able to address my concerns before I was even able to voice them by educating me. I spoke with four if not five different companies and this is the only company that took time to actually train their people to be able to explain everything in detail. The best equipment with parts and labor covered for 25 years by the manufactures. I ran into one of their installer guys (Jeff) while I was working and asked him a couple questions about the company. He took 15 minutes out of his time after he had gotten off of work tell me a bit about the company. Employees don’t go on about their companies in a positive manner for 15 minutes if they’re not being cared for well. Their people are what make the difference. They clearly make great hiring decisions.Home run!

Excellent Service

I am excited about going solar!!! I have dealt with so long with KCPL now Evergy and their rates consistently increasing, I now get to see light at the end of the tunnel. Tyler and the gentleman accompanying him provide thorough excellent service. I feel like I understand what I am getting and the benefit of it. The fact that he really explain that I am going to pay to have my own energy down the line after paying off the panels and it adds value to my home is wonderful. I would recommend SunPro to any home owner whom is looking to save on their energy bill.

Customer Support is really bad

Great company when selling, but after the installation, their support is crap. stay away.

The are horrible I got rain leaks on my roof because of them!!!

The contract was signed on 7-22-21 and SunPro was ready to schedule install on 8-12-21, less then a month. SunPro offers LG 375 Solar panels made here in the USA and considered the best in the industry. SunPro has a 25 year warranty which is among the best in the solar business. Sunpro has an apples to apples Price match guarantee. Paul Schlosser was always willing to get on the phone with me at any time I wanted to speak to someone from SunPro about the project.

Very disappointed

I've had SunPro Solar for 2 years. Hail destroyed our roof in April and I had to have the panels removed and replaced at a cost of nearly $12,000.00. After reinstallation, the crew neglected to turn the panels back on. After service call, finally got them back on then the reporting failed. Third call got the panels back to reporting, but showing not generating full power. There is too much incompetence here. I cannot recommend Sunpro Solar.
