Big Disappointment

We have had the panels on our house for months. Still not connected was told that they would be finished this morning now being told later this afternoon. The finance company is a hassle and dealing with this has been nothing but a bunch of stress. If it’s not completed today I will be talking with a lawyer.

My expirience with Sunpro has been Amazing! Eloy Garza is my sales rep who I highly recommend to anyone that is looking to go solar. He came to my home went over the program and was able to drop my bill by over 40% from what I was paying. Not only was he great but his instillation crew were prompt and professional from beginning to the end. Thank you Eloy and crew for all of your help!

Saving Money - Great Company

Sunpro Solar installed our system 4 years ago. We haven’t had an electricity bill in 4 years. We are very happy. Customer service is great. We added a Tesla batterie as well and had no issues at all.

Worst company I have ever dealt with in my Life. Started in June of 2021 and I still do not have an operational system but am being charged for it. Salesman no help. Account Manager no help Credit Union no help. BBB did not help. I keep being made one promise after another and they keep getting broken. Everything is everyone else problem but theirs. I am to the point that I am looking for an attorney now.

I bought a system a year and a half from sunpro and it’s been the best thing I’ve ever done! Everyone has been awesome from the beginning and to this day, I’m still so in love with my system! Like many people, I was skeptical but I can honestly say now…. So incredibly happy with my choices!

Do not use this company!

We have been waiting 11 months now and still do not have our solar hooked up. Got the panels installed in February. It has been a nightmare. It is like pulling teeth to get anyone to communicate. Turnover of sales reps, managers, account reps, etc., is extremely high. They finally got our battery installed 3 weeks ago and we have heard nothing since. Going with this company was the worst decision we've ever made.

After 1 consultation with a sales rep, I decided to not go ahead with the project. 3 weeks later, I received notification that I’d be charged a large cancellation fee! Never sign with SunPro!

Great Experience

Sunpro was very informative throughout the whole process. They scheduled a follow up appointment to check on our system to ensure that everything was working correctly and did not have any issues.

My salesperson Shelli was amazing. My project was completed earlier than projected. But I think that’s because I’m an impatient and I also called the power company and followed up with scheduling of the inspection, etc. I live out in the Hill country and sometimes, they do things at their own pace (turtle pace) There were a few bumps in the road with the project manager (I think she was new) but everything was resolved quickly! Everything that was promised, was provided!! Electric credits, spray insulation, water heater wrap, attic tent, smart power strip, LED light bulbs, Air seal tested my home and then added stripping where needed and even installed a Nest.. I also love the app so I can see what my panels are doing throughout the day and how much power I am using from the power company. I can even look at history. Very cool.

Sun pro makes going solar so easy ! they handle everything from permits to HOA guidelines. our account manager Paul Schlosser was always easy to get a hold of. the financing is very affordable and all the appointments and paperwork are handled by sun pro to make your life easier .

Sunpro is the way to go!!

SunPro Solar sales rep directed us to the best commercial LG Panels in the industry, John Brown was very helpful to explain the entire process details from start to finish. SunPro was very efficient in getting us from contract to ready for installation. Calvin along with multiple crew team members were right there letting us know what to expect and when, every step of the way as they performed an amazing installation. Their people are what make the difference. My thirty-five solar panels look incredible and work fantastic. Very happy with decision choosing Sunpro!

Great people and equipment

Outstanding service. Excellent and efficient installation. Regional manager very interested in prof. Dylan our sales rep monitored the installation. Overall, excellent experience. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Poor Customer Service

During the sales presentation and all the way to installation they are an amazing company and communication is above level. After the installation was completed, it took over a month for them to get back and schedule a inspection with the County. They blamed it on COVID and short staffed. I know inspectors in the County that denied this information, SunPro simply didn’t schedule the inspection. First inspection was scheduled, they failed. A breaker needed to be replaced. 3 weeks after they come to replace the breaker and 2nd inspection. This time guess what? Inspection failed again and this time was because the SunPro team didn’t submit paperwork that needs to go to the county and get sealed prior to the inspector come to the site for inspection, something as simple and administrative as that and they failed. Now 3 months after panels are installed, they are not working and no one is responding to my emails and calls. I just emailed the CEO Mr Jones a second time and still have not heard from anyone. In my opinion, the answer is simple they received the funds from the lender already since the contract says they get paid when is installed not when is working so they have no desire to make this right since they got paid. Now I have a Duke Energy bill and a loan bill for them not following up after installation of the panels. DO NOT HIRE this company do yourself a favor.

So Far So Good!

So far everything is going according to initial discussions and plans. Sales process was informative and no pressure. Our consultant was very helpful providing us with the information we needed to make an informed decision. After signing they said 30-90 days before construction, I would lean more towards the 90 day time frame. No fault of theirs but due to permitting and multiple approvals needed from our city and HOA. This took time. Once we got to install day, it was just that, a day. Both their electrical and panel installers came at once and knocked out the conversion and installation of the electrical and solar panels on the roof. Here and gone in about 9hrs. Cleaned up after themselves and left no traces of them being in, on or around our home. Now we are at present day. 2 days after install we are getting their final sign off and inspection of the work. Fingers crossed all goes well and after that we wait again on our regional electric company to do their final inspection and repace our meter with a solar meter and we then can finally fip the swith. All in all a smooth and pleasant process. Only downside is waiting for all the in between stuff to get approved and inspected and sign offs.

Excellent Experience

Yesterday, Sunpro installed a solar panel system on my roof. My experience with Sunpro to date has been excellent. Many contacts with highly professional people ensuring a positive experience every step of the way. The sales, contracting, permitting and installation processes all went smoothly. I'm now looking forward to lighting up, doing my part for the environment and saving money!

If you're going solar, go Sunpro

We received quotes from multiple companies and actually signed two different contracts for service. Sunpro was hands down the best to work with both before and after signing. Our sales agent Lindsay in particular was a joy to work with. Between their guarantees and their excellent service, I would put Sunpro at the very top of the pack.

Salesman was very nice and helpful

Actually, we didn't choose Sunpro Solar; they chose us. It was a cold call, which makes me very nervous, and the callers (there was more than one call) wouldn't take no for an answer. Talking with the salesman convinced us to proceed.

Poor Customer Service

After a year of using the panels, we needed to replace our roof but we’re unable to start the process as SunPro has taken over a month to get back with us on scheduling a time to remove panels. It takes 7 days to receive a phone call back and no one has been able to help with simply scheduling. I do not appreciate the lack of timely communication with a customer. They have made our lives very difficult and do not seem to care to help with the removal and reinstall.
