From the very first call I made with Sunny Energy, I was immediately taken care of! They had a rep within a day come out and thoroughly go over all the details about our solar energy potential and was extremely kind and personable! The installation process was one of my husband and I's biggest fears about the whole commitment to going solar, but afterwards, the installation was a breeze and it turned out beautifully. I highly recommend this company, they have been with us every step of the process and have made it such an exciting endeavor!

The best local solar company I could find.

When we decided to move to AZ a few months ago I knew that solar was going to be one thing that was on the top of my list to have installed on our house. Where we came from “MS” the availability of solar is pretty much “0”, mainly due to the amount of shading from trees and absolutely no support of it by the state. I have a background in electronics “pretty much everything with electricity flowing through it” and knew all the basics about solar already. After moving here I started researching what is currently available at the time and then set out to start meeting with companies and getting quotes. We didn’t have to look far, as within a week of moving in we had multiple door-to-door solar sales people knocking, all trying to get our business. All of the door-to-to door people were high pressure sales, trying to get us to purchase / lease as big of a system as they could sell us “hoping we didn’t know better”, those I ushered right out. I met with about a dozen companies including the door-to-door people, and narrowed our search down to three companies, one happen to be Sunny Energy. Our sales person “Mike”, was one of the easiest sales people to deal with, he was laid back, not high pressure, and he didn’t try to over sell us a system that would not be worth our ROI. The other two companies were actually more interested in what they were selling us as both of them immediately wanted us to spend a few thousand $ more, that pretty much cinched the deal with me. All the equipment Sunny Energy is high end equipment too, nothing cheap or short lived about it. The system comes with a 25year warranty on top of it. The REC panels they use are one of the top rated panels on all the review sites, and the Solar Edge converter is one of the most efficient available. We didn’t have to do anything after signing either; Sunny Energy took care of all the permits and paperwork. They designed the system layout for optimum performance “they didn’t just throw it up on the roof not worrying about where the panels were facing”. Their installation crew was even showed up early to do the install and had everything installed in just under three hours “very impressive for the amount of work they did”. After everything was approved and the switches thrown everything worked perfectly, no going back and trying to figure out what went wrong, “actually had a neighbor experience that after going with a different company and they had to come back twice to figure out why the system wasn’t working right”. I really like the Solar Edge monitoring platform; we can watch all of our solar production and see just how much we are producing on a daily basis, anxious to see the impact on the APS bill. Over all I would give Sunny Energy 5 out of 5 stars as they were honest about what we needed, nothing high pressure and they were always happy to answer any question we had about the system. They also kept us fully informed every step of the way from start to finish.

Excellent Company

We've had such a wonderful experience with Sunny Energy. They have been extremely helpful, quick to serve, and very friendly. We were nervous about dealing with a shady company, but we really lucked out with them. I recommend them a million times over. Everyone from sales to installation to post-installation has been amazing.

Great Experience

From start to finish, Sunny Energy have been great answering any questions I've had and punctual/helpful at all the appointments during set up. With all the choices out there, we are very happy that we chose Sunny.

Excellent customer service

I researched several solar companies, and also came on contact with a person nearby who had researched considerably more before deciding on Sunny Energy. Our salesman Chris explained everything in a total professional manner, and not once was pushy during the process. This company is clearly committed to excellent customer service-they sell and service their product without out-sourcing labor. process went quickly and smoothly-both Taylor was on top of all the details from then on, making sure the paper work was completed for City, county and APS, always informing me where the job status state was. Even OK to operate went quickly and seamlessly, and our salesman did a followup visit to may sure everything was explained and in proper order.

He came to me with interest in solar energy and I had mentioned this was my first home and I am interested, but I needed special care because I did not know a whole lot about Solar. Over the top Service

I really want to recommend Sunny Energy. They have been nothing but helpful and communicative during the entire experience. Right from the start they were over the top helpful. When the panels were to be installed, I noticed that they were not where we wanted them. I immediately called my sales rep who got in touch with the "boss". The crew actually turned around (they had already left) and returned to move the panels into the correct placement. The crew were happy and friendly and didn't seem to mind at all. Truly over the top service. I am so glad I went with Sunny Energy.

Great customer service

we had several people stop by our house for solar but Sunny Energy stood out above threat. The sales person was great and great customer service has followed ever since. Living in Arizona, it seemed like the responsible thing to do with over 300 days of sunshine. Great company!

From the initial meeting with the sales representative to the final commissioning of the solar system the service I received was first class. Good Review

I met with 4 different solar companies before choosing Sunny Energy. The warranties were the best that I saw. The price was 3 to $10,000 less than the other companies. The installation process was very simple and easy. With my calculations, including the tax credits, the system should pay for itself in 8 to 9 years. I do not have to worry about utility company's price increases on an almost yearly basis. So now all I do is write a different name on the check to pay for my electricity usage. We are snowbirds from Wisconsin, so we are certain that APS will be crediting our account in the summer months.

Solar Panel Installation

HIGHLY Recommend Sunny Energy for your residential Solar Panel needs. Living in Arizona, I felt somewhat obligated to at least consider Solar energy for my home’s electrical needs. I went into the venture not knowing if I could afford it or not, AND with an extensive list of questions. I eventually talked with 9 solar companies. Sunny Energy (Rich M) quickly moved to the top of my list due to Rich’s CLEAR explanations and patience in answering my questions. Only one other company even heard out my entire list. Rich researched a few obscure questions I had—and didn’t downplay my interest in knowing about them. Rich did not use the pushy salesman approach that ALL the other companies had employed. I needed time to decide if I wanted to move forward, but had decided on Sunny Energy if I chose to do so. Again, Rich and the staff were patient and not pushy. Once I decided to move forward, I had interactions with Rich and several of Sunny Energy’s staff over the phone. I was a very inquisitive and detail oriented customer, but Sunny Energy’s staff continued to make me comfortable to call them for any reason. I had numerous calls with Taylor and Kristina during this time. Both were courteous, patient and always either had an answer--or found out what the answer was. Excellent customer service. The installation process includes many steps, including inspections and a LOT of coordination. In every case, things were handled professionally. Again, any question I had about timing or clarification on where things stood was handled by Taylor and Sunny’s team in a flawless and courteous manner. If needed my concern was escalated to Chris W, who was the most reasonable upper management person I’ve worked with in years. He entertained any concern I had, and resolved every one of them. This is clearly a company that is committed to excellent customer service. A+

Very fast

They delivered on what they promised. The system was up and Connected in two and a half months from when we signed the contract to being connected. The only problem we had was the inspector didn’t like the control panel being behind the satellite dish( which is on the ground) and they paid to have it moved.

Keith was our salesman, gave us facts in an easy to understand manner, no pressure at all, everything went smoothly, Taylor was very informative during the whole process. Wonderful Service and Follow UP

I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. From the initial in home consultation, to the installation, to responding to follow up questions and requests this company (and particularly their customer service rep - Melanie Love) has been professional, courteous, and a pleasure to deal with. Nearly every question or text has received a response in less than two hours. Within a year I had them back out to install three more panels because the system is exceeding the original production estimates. My level billing is $50.......yes $50 in Arizona!

Salesman was very friendly and laid out facts in an easy to understand manner; loan process was easy, everything went smoothly, everyone was informative during the whole process. Every person I spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable. Installers even replaced a GFI outlet that happened to go bad on a day they were there but unable to do anything because it rained. I highly recommend this company if you’re considering solar.

Awesome Company

There are so many solar companies out there knocking on your door every day. I have to say that Sunny Energy was everything I’d hope they would be. Their communication was to the point and not overwhelming while at the same time I never felt like I was out of the loop. Someone always answered the phone and always replied to an email. Our system was installed extremely fast and I did not feel like it was a waiting game at all. A pleasure to do business with for sure!
