Randi Krugue was on top of the project from start to finish and was very good about communicating with us every step of the way. There was one delay in the installation, but otherwise everything proceeded as expected. We had one unexpected minor mishap with the install and Randi made sure the service team was made aware of it and a ticket was promptly opened.

Kevin Lothrop was totally awesome, he was here for every step of the process. Very upfront and honest about what to expect. Totally recommend Solar Summit. Prior to his visit we had rejected 4 other solar companies.

Summit Energy did a great job of preparing me for the installation. There or no surprises and they keep me informed during the entire installation. All the employees of Summit were courteous and a pleasure to work with.

Our consultant, Dave Decker, was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He made the entire process effortless and kept us updated throughout. We are very happy with Summit overall and will continue to refer Dave Decker to our friends, neighbors, etc.

The project was fairly priced. The timetable and project benchmarks were clearly laid out. Communication during the project was good. The project was completed on time.

We worked with Kevin Aubut. He was amazing!! Very personable and knowledgeable about what he sells.. He answered any questions we had and kept us up to date as to what was happening. Also worked with Jeff Parsont who was also very pleasant and knowledgeable. He also kept us up to date as to what was happening. The installation crew were great they were all very pleasant and friendly. They also let us know what they were doing. It did not take them long to install the panels.

This was a large project for us with many moving parts coordinating install on the Island for a home that was co-owned, and NOT by a married couple. I am reviewing this before we are actually live on the system. Starting the process to solar was rough, a lot of miscommunication with the sales and finance teams. We almost didn't do the install. We did love our sales guy, Rick, he was straight forward and honest with us, and the main reason we did move forward. Summit did make up for it in negotiations so we went forward. The install team was top notch! They were friendly and courteous. The companies communication is also great. You get an email every step of the way. Once we are live (should be within 10 days) I may update the review.

We had a great experience with Jeff and the crew. Everyone who had a part in the process was professional and knew their stuff! Very knowledgeable group that always were polite and answered all our questions and showed up every time they were scheduled to!

We had a great experience as Summit navigated us through our solar adventure. From our first contact with Rich Ford to the final installation steps with Jeff Parsont, we were impressed with the professionalism and quick response to all of our questions. The installation team was also great - very polite and helpful and really efficient and knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend the Summit team to anyone interested in going solar.

Our summit sales rep Jackie was so friendly and helpful. She always was available to answer my questions and was always checking in and keeping us up to date throughout the entire process. She even went above and beyond to personally walk into city hall to inquire why the permit was taking so long to get approved and got that going too. The installation process was really quick they installed 30 panels in 2 days and were very professional and also always touched base regarding their progress. Once again after the installation Jackie came right out to inspect the panels and take pictures and she’s even coming back to officially flip the switch to turn the panels on. She was a pleasure to work with and I’m happy with Summit.

Summit Solar is a great company to work with. From my first inquiry to the final installation, there was always someone available to answer my questions. As a non-profit early childhood program, our needs around installation were unique. We had to work around times when the children would not be impacted. I think I only mentioned this once during the process, and when it came to the time for installation, our Project Manager, Eldo, noticed this, and paid attention to our calendar and planned the time for when the children would be on a break. This is just one of many instances where Summit really impressed me. When we were initially getting quotes, the sales rep, Matt, was terrific. He met with me through an online meeting, and even offered to meet with my Board of Directors, knowing we’re a non-profit organization. Ultimately, this wasn’t necessary, but the fact that he offered was a testament to Summit’s attention to their customers. The installation crew was wonderful as well. Most of the work was done over two or three days, and they made a point of leaving our property as they found it, cleaning up as they worked. Shortly after the installation we had a minor issue with a roof leak and they immediately responded, sending someone out to investigate it, and fixing the issue (which was not caused by poor workmanship, at all). I strongly recommend Summit Solar. They are a great company with employees who are well trained to meet the customer’s needs!

I have a signed contract and have been waiting since May to get my panels installed. Summit doesn’t even respond to me anymore when I ask for status on the installation. I just keep getting moved from one person to the next. It’s been one excuse after the other and no one is doing anything to get the panels installed. Don’t use this company!

I had known that I wanted to get a PV system for a long time and the time was finally right. I did a fair amount of research, but nothing that could fully prepare us for the journey of endless hoops involved. Through it all, the team at Summit kept me level-headed, reminding me to keep my eye on the prize. At first, we intended to lease a smaller system, but the numbers never worked for us, so we decided to move to a 10.25kW system with 25 panels on our rooftop. After extensive issues with our power company (Summit helped with those, too, but my persistence probably made the biggest difference), we went live in late July. Producing clean energy (with room to grow), and selling it back to the grid has been intensely gratifying for us, both in terms of the environment and our own finances. From Taylor in sales through the install team, and Tiffany our current live support system, we felt like the company cared about what we were facing. I'm certain we could have paid less with another company (maybe not...honestly you never know after your first batch of research), but I'm glad we worked with Summit and would recommend them to anyone considering the move to a high-quality PV system.

We worked with Liz to learn about the process and facilitate the installation. The Summit team is extremely professional. Our timeline ended up being much quicker than originally expected. The installation team was extremely professional, neat, and efficient. Any pipes and wires are clean and not visible unless you are looking for it. They were equally efficient and neat on the inside of the house. I would absolutely recommend Liz to sign you up and the installation team to perform a professional installation.

They took a complex process and made it so much easier. Highly recommend working with Molly and Stacey and the whole team. Pros!

We had a great smooth process from sign to install to PTO. I had a lot of referrals to follow and Rose Ambroise was a great in helping in making sure everything went as it should!

Going from installation to functioning was a slow process but it's paid off. There are numerous moving parts, between the electric company and city hall. I'm glad I went with Summit Energy, however, they were on our side each step in the process. I understand they are facing tremendous demand for these projects so things get backlogged. I put my initial deposit down in Oct 2022, and the install wasn't completed and running online until May of 2023. Bottom line, the process works. It's a good investment. My account coordinator Randi Krogue was highly responsive. Our initial consultant with Enrique Coello was good too, he was really informative about the process and he followed through on his promises. My advice would be if you can afford to pay cash, do it because financing comes with high rates and loan origination fees that will run up the cost of your install.

I have been 100% satisfied with Summit Solar. They have been such a top notch company with which to do business. I have recommended them to so many friends and they have said the same thing to me. Richard Ford has been our Solar Consultant and he has been amazing to work with. He is knowledgeable and personable and has great follow up. The entire team has been great. Jeff Parsonts does a very good job of keeping us posted on progress. For us, Richard Ford has been the 'face' of the company and we just appreciate his communication. If you live in MA you NEED Solar, and if you want to be 100% satisfied with your experience you NEED to go with Summit Solar and have Richard Ford (richard@summit.solar) as your Solar Consultant. I was very nervous about making the leap into buying solar. However, Mike was what truly made me feel like I was making the right choice to go with Summit Energy. Mike was amazing with answering my questions from start to finish. I felt so comfortable being able to ask as many questions as I needed. Jeff was helpful & professional if I had any questions as well when it came to installation. Jeff would find out answers if he was unsure. Jeff also made sure things were done in a timely manner. I can’t express how wonderful both of these gentlemen were! Lastly, the crew that installed was very professional, clean & respectful. Thank you!

It takes a while to get everything in place. Be patient. This is no surprise considering this is new for everyone. Caitlin was consistently informative, persistent and amazingly cheerful throughout the process. Alexis constantly kept track of the process and answered all questions posed. The various crew members, electricians, etc that worked on the project were all very friendly, punctual and competent. It's not a small project bringing so many people together. So far so good....haven't turned it on yet...

We just switched over to our solar panels this morning and everything is up and running great. Michael Monahan explained everything in a clearly. Tiffany Dolphin always kept in touch. They both answered my questions and listened to my concerns. I would highly recommend Mike and Tiffany to anyone who wants to go solar.

Cameron Reeves was extremely patient and helpful getting us signed up and ready to go. Office staff is always upbeat and responsive. The installers were friendly and professional.

We had a great team that came to plan how many panels we would we would need for our home. The installation went smoothly. The true strength though came from Jennifer. We had some hiccups with National Grid and the meter that had originally been installed. Jennifer was 100% our advocate at all hours, joining us on calls with National Grid ensuring our voices were being heard. Jennifer was so understanding of the frustrations we had. I'm not sure where we would be if Jennifer had not been on our side.

Started the process in August of 2022. Was told I'd have the roof done in October and panels on in November. Didn't get either until February. They were given the green light to operate in March, but they quickly failed. The system is currently off for electrical safety reasons. I've been trying to get a service team out here for over a month, but my requests have been ignored. They got paid in full for the work, but apparently feel no obligation to live up to the promises they made as far as reliability and quick service. I would avoid using them.

My experience was generally positive. Caitlin was great - always responsive. Liz was also helpful during the initial stages of the project. The one issue that precludes me from writing a totally positive review is that my tax advisor adamantly refuted the idea that the roof I had installed as part of the project would be eligible for the federal tax credit). I realize that other tax preparers may have a different interpretation, but future customers should at least be cautioned about the possibility that the roof may not qualify. I was expecting almost $5,000 for the roof portion of the federal tax credit, and that never materialized. Also, I was originally told that the system would be fully operational by the end of this calendar year, but it was just completed (3/24/23). As a result, I will have to wait another year to benefit from the tax credit.

Just wanted to warn people of Summit Energy. We installed a $60,000 system solar panel system with them over the summer which flooded our house after it rained. This ended up causing tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage to our home which we are still in the process of repairing. The leak filled our home with water destroying the 1st floor ceiling, upstairs bathroom, insulation, ect. We lived with a tarp over our house for over 2 months while the company kept saying "dont worry we will take care of you". They ended up not being able to fix the problem and I had to have a 3rd party roofer come out and fix the issue. I still haven't seen a single cent from Summit Energy. This is only a fraction of the issues we have had with them over the last 6 months. The damages are extensive and too much to list for the sake of this post Take a look at recent reviews for this company. It seems this is happening to a lot of people.

Rick Morrison was a great guy to deal with. He gave us time to review the contract before we signed it. The installers were here the day scheduled and done before dark. Everything looks good. The lady in the office, Liz Rolfe is very professional and personal, she answered all my questions, even the stupid ones. I haven't had a bad experience with anyone at Summit Energy.

I had a great experience with Summit Energy and their Solar Install. Rob Bultman our project manager was fantastic and communicated at a high level.

Summit Energy sold me a solar energy system and installation plan that was approved and signed by me, then installed a different design and layout, that included a battery backup system that I did not order and fewer actual solar panels, than was expected. After this, They tried to coerce me into accepting this system by offering it at a so-called discounted price. Then proceeded to present a contract at a considerably increased cost than was quoted to me. Summit Energy ultimately installed a system that they know had been recalled due to faulty parts and as a result, has failed and does not work. The system was turned on November 1st and has been down for almost the entirety of the 2 &1/2 months since then (as of writing this). Also during the installation, they damaged my roof and it now has leaks in multiple places. I have made multiple requests to have these issues addressed. Their response has been to make appointments for technicians to come out and then not show up at all. I have lost days of work by taking time off, just for no one to show up! They don’t even have the common courtesy to call and cancel their appointments.

From the start, Tiffany showed her ability to help and explain certain details that made me feel secure and trusty especially when it came to reviewing contracts and signing them. She was available any time I had a question.

We can’t even begin to warn you enough not to use them. They don’t communicate, they don’t follow through to get the project completed. We started this process in Aug 2022 with a salesman named Chad. Most of the information we received from him was grossly incorrect. The timeline he stated for the project was incorrect, the weekly updates we never received. At some point he disappeared and we started dealing with Robert. Still not much better with the communication, but at least things moved at a snail pace. Once we had the approval from eversource it took almost 6 weeks to get the panels installed. That was finally done 12/4. The install team was great, that is the ONLY part of this that has gone well. We were assured that the certificate of completion was sent to eversource so that we could get the net meter installed, that takes an additional 10-20 days. As of this writing eversource has advised that the completion certificate has not been received, so I have panels on my roof that can’t be used….. we have tried numerous times to reach senior management at this company, and the office does not even know who the president is, and you can’t reach any of them. These delays have now cost us over 7000 this year due to them not completing the job we paid for. If anyone is crazy enough to use them…. Good Luck

Everything happened exactly as it was explained, timely and no extra costs. When they left everything was tidy.

Hi- We had solar installed by Summit Energey in September and it could not have gone more smoothly. The installers and electricians were very knowlagable and easy to work with. Everyone says it takes months to get your solar running but we had ours installed in the middle of September and turned on by October 25th. Very quick and easy. Great job by Summit and quick turnaround by the electric company and inspectors. Brian

The process was great from the start to the finish, from Molly showing us our options via a low pressure meeting, to scheduling and project management with Stacy, and the installation crew. We were up and running from our first meeting to generating power in less than two months.

I cannot yet speak to the installation process, but I will say that I am very pleased with all of the pre-agreement support I received! I want to shout out our rep Dean T who was absolutely fantastic from day 1–very patient, polite and low-pressure, he walked us through every step of the process and took care to ensure we understood all of our options. More importantly, he did everything in his power to ensure we got the best interest rate—including answering “after hours” texts and working on the weekend. He sourced answers for our (many) questions, and even ensured we knew about a last-minute in-state rebate lottery we could apply for even after we signed. Also shout out to Kayla for getting our paperwork over to us in such a timely fashion so we could move forward, even on a Sunday! Great communication from the team, we’re very excited for next steps.

from Sales, to Installation, to Customer Support, every individual at Summ,. Ener. Grp. has been responsive, helpful, efficient, knowledgeable, professional, very easy to work with. they listen. they keep the customer informed every step of the way. they keep their promises. they deliver exactly what was sold. system performance has been exceptional, resulting in a ‘net-zero’, so to speak energy use from the grid. Actually, home now produces more energy than used, resulting in a net-negative energy use. batteries keep house running in outages and after sundown, resulting in no energy required from the grid. the entire experience was, and still is, ‘top-shelf’, so to speak, in every way. zero problems; no complaints—-says it all, doesn’t it?!!!

Just starting the process. Chad and Ina answered all my questions. From being in the military for 15 years, I am straight forward and was happy to see that my questions were answered directly with no fluff. Just starting the process so the site visit was just set up. Looking forward to working with this group and excited to be going solar.

Where to begin – lets start with the installation, on August 11th, my panels were installed. The crew was given the wrong plans and started to install the mounting hardware on the front of my house, in addition to the rear, which is the only place they were supposed to go. So we had to have our roof repaired. After that, it took over a month for my "Project Success Leader" and her team to get me a new contract drawn up for the correct number of panels. This was after several points of outreach from me to my "Project Success Leader" asking for the updated contract. As for where my project stands today, it has been over a month since the building inspector signed off on the project and I just found out today that my PTO still has not been submitted to Eversource. This means the 3-4 week waiting period for Eversource to switch out my meter hasn’t started yet. This puts my project timeline going on nearly 8 months, and will push 9+ months before the system is turned on. If I could, I would back out of the contract and have the panels removed. This is what I get for backing out of working with Trinity Solar for our project.

Our sales rep has provided great customer service throughout this experience. We have a larger roof and the install was quick and done professionally in just two days. We are very happy we went with Summit.

My experience with Summit Energy was excellent. My sale rap was Michael Monahan. He help me every step of the way. He kept me in form with everything that is going on with my application. So far we are very pleased with the people we have dealt with on our journey to Solar. Sarena P has done a great job presenting our plan and what we can expect going forward. Steve came out to do the site survey and was very pleasent mindful of our property. We can't wait for Sarena to come back with the plans after the site survey so we can get our solar panels installed.
