Stellar Solar

Installed inverter not FCC compliant

Company installed a Solar Edge inverter which is very noisy and interferes with my ham radios. Therefore it is not FCC compliant for RFI (Radio Frequency Interference). Now I have paid a large sum of money for a system that has destroyed ability to use my hobby.

Recommend without reservation

The short...my experience with Stellar Solar was a 10 out of 10. From my first consult with Dave Gersz to final Permission to Operate the process and support by Stellar was easy, efficient, and thorough. Everyone I dealt with, in every step along the way, was competent, professional, and helpful. The installation took one day. The crew were efficient, and worked diligently. They were careful, respectful of my property, and did a thorough cleanup. I would also like to specifically acknowledge the jobs Eric did on the electrical side of things, and Victor the Inspections Tech. I can't say enough positive things about them, and the jobs they did. I can say I had great customer service from Stellar Solar, and given my experience recommend Stellar Solar without reservation

Stellar solar - Tesla Backup Battery

This is my third project with Stellar Solar where I added a Tesla backup battery to my Solar System. From the time I requested a price quote to the final stage when my system was on, I had a great experience. The project manager kept me informed with all the stages, milestones, schedules, and deliverables. All the team members (design, installation, commissioning, and inspection) were very skilled, professional, customer-oriented, and great to deal with. I strongly recommend Stellar Solar for all solar related projects where you get competitive pricing and high-quality outcome.

Great experience

Stellar Solar is great, they calculated everything we would need for our home. We were able to throw in a new roof, battery, and an electrical panel upgrade for our home. My wife and I are very happy with how everything turned out, and would recommend Stellar Solar for anyone looking to upgrade their home.

Working with Stellar Solar was an absolute pleasure. The whole process from speaking to Robert during the proposal to installation was very smooth. Compared to other companies, I felt like Stellar answered all my questions and was honest with me from the very beginning. Since they were my first bid, I was more prepared to speak to other companies regarding my solar needs. After deciding to work with Stellar, each point of contact from the project manager to the installation team were very professional. From signing our agreement, it took about 1-2 weeks to install our panels and about another week for our inspection and receiving our PTO. Of course, these times may vary as it may depend on SDGE. I'm confident after working with Stellar that they will continue to provide great customer service even after completing the project. Highly recommend!

Solar Install

Kent, Bryan and the entire Stellar Solar team are wonderful. We had moved into a new build home in the Eastlake area of Chula Vista and desperately wanted solar. Stellar Solar offered an amazing price and interest free financing. Their team was extremely efficient and responsive. We were the first in our complex to get Solar, so there were several hoops we had to jump through. The Stellar Solar team was there every step of the way and handled things professionally and promptly. I have recommended them to neighbors and friends who have also been very pleased with their work! I highly recommend the Stellar Solar team! Not to mention our electric bill went from $300 to $7!!

Awesome job from beginning to end

From beginning to end, the entire Stellar Solar team was amazing. From having very competitive pricing, to top notch customer service, I can't recommend them enough. My sales person Dave did a great job explaining the entire project and provided a through overview of the process and then even showed me how to read my production after the system was installed. Installation team was also great, clean and took great care of my house. I asked for some specifics on how I wanted the conduit run and where I wanted to place the inverter and they complied with every request. Then the inspections team was also on top of every step of the way until my system was up and running. If you are thinking of going solar don't look anywhere else.

Fast and Efficient Operation

After seeing our rising SDGE rates we decided that it was finally time to get solar. We met with 4 or 5 companies to get quotes and finally settled on Stellar Solar. From the beginning we hit it off with Erin who was always available and answered all of our questions. From the time we signed to the time we had installers out was amazingly fast....a matter of a couple weeks. The install and inspection process went smoothly with plenty of communication from Stellar all along the way. Today we have a fully functional solar system that's meeting all exceptions. Thanks Stellar!

Stellar Solar a Smart Choice for us

We are so happy with our choice to use Stellar Solar! We have had our panels for 2.5 years. The entire process was very professional. We had our first consultation with Conor, the installation followed a couple of weeks later, and there has been absolutely no problem and a tremendous saving for us. We wanted solar panels because we were getting an electric car. This was a great choice considering how much driving I was doing at the time. We have a house of 5 and one electric car and the monthly SDGE bill is totally reasonable. Another important point is they install Sunpower solar panels which are top of the line, AND, they are under warranty for everything for 25 years. They also install Q-Cells and LG. They are a very professional company and we are absolutely satisfied. They have been ranked the top local solar panel installer many years in San Diego and have been in business for over 20, which is also a testament to how solid a company it is.

Love Stellar Solar!

Stellar Solar is AMAZING! I shopped around for multiple places and after getting a referral from my friends, I spoke to Robert for one meeting and my husband and I were sold on going with Stellar Solar! Their customer service is amazing and reliable. After starting the consultation process, it only took us about 4-5 weeks for us to have our solar panels installed and fully operational. We ended up referring other friends and they have moved forward with Stellar Solar with happy results as well! :)

Solar Made Easy!

We finally decided to install solar panels on our house and after some research and recommendations from neighbors, we chose Stellar Solar. We could not be happier with this choice. Their customer service is top notch. Everyone we dealt with has been well trained and informed about their product and especially the process. They managed everything from design, permitting and installation. Our main point of contact throughout the process, and who I would recommend contacting if you are considering solar is Marc Cirelli

OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE

From start to finish and beyond, our experience with @Stellar Solar was fantastic - we could not have asked for a better experience. The unit, installed in late October, is exceeding our expectations as we generated more electricity in February, a winter month, than we consumed and got our first credit. Two incidents bear out why this whole experience was so great. 1. Final payment was due before the start of final completion and we challenged the amount of the final payment. They accepted $1,000 less and completed the work. Went back to my paperwork and found out that we had shortpaid one of the interim payments so settled up with them the next day. 2. They called to tell us there was a small glitch in the programming and they would send someone out to fix it. They didn't hide the fact of the glitch, just upfront about the problem. Fixed in minutes, if that. Cleanup was also excellent. Highly recommend @Stellar Solar.

The team at Stellar Solar is amazing! From the initial appointment up to years after installation they have been very attentive and supportive. Conor was very honest when it came to sizing our panels and the needs of the household, I appreciate all the details he provided and his patience to answer all my questions about the product and installation. Installation was so smooth we barely noticed they were doing work at the house. We've had the panels for 2 years now and the performance has been great, they work like new. The app to check on the panels' performance is easy to use and customer service is easy to work with in case of questions/concerns. I value Stellar Solar as a great provider and would recommend them to anyone looking for good quality solar energy.

Great Experience with Stellar Solar

After getting quotes from many solar companies, we went with Stellar Solar to install our solar panels. The panels are working great, and we are saving a ton on our energy bill. We have been very happy with them. If you are looking for solar on your home, I highly recommend Marc Cirelli at Stellar Solar.

Highly recommend Stella Solar

Stellar Solar did an amazing job with my solar panel install. I considered other companies but decided to go with them because they did great work installing panels at my parent's house. I have had my panels for 2 years now and have had no problems. Everything works as expected and I am very happy with my choice. If you are looking for solar on your home, I highly recommend Zac Dowell at Stellar Solar. Contact him at (619) 800-1786 or zac@stellarsolar.net

Just had Solar panels installed by Stellar Solar. Good communication. The crew was quick and effecient. Overall a good experience! I recommend them for your solar needs!

Top notch solar company

Made adding solar to my home an easy and quick process. Very responsive and attentive throughout the design, install, and permitting process, the latter of which is not trivial. I have had my system in for a month now, and the performance is exactly what they modeled it as during our consultations. They were also very accommodating to my timeline (which was quite fast) and schedule. Multiple houses on my block have recently gone through Stellar as well and everyone seems quite happy.

Our solar installation was awesome!

I did a lot of research and after looking at many solar companies, we hired Stellar Solar (@StellarSolar) to upgrade our home to solar. Our panels have worked out wonderfully and helped to greatly reduce our electric bill. We couldnt be happier. If you are looking for solar on your home, I highly recommend Zac Dowell at Stellar Solar.

I've had an excellent experience both times I've worked with Stellar Solar for a residential solar power system. I worked with Marc Cirelli both times and he (and his team) was very responsive (within minutes of me contacting them on every occasion) and were able to schedule my installation the day after the plans had been approved. Installation was completed in one day. The system was active within a couple of weeks of installation. My neighbors have used other solar companies and cannot describe nearly the same promptness, sometimes waiting several months for installation to be completed. Their price is competitive as well. I highly recommend Marc Cirelli at Stellar Solar. Contact him at 619.261.1868 or marc@stellarsolar.net

Very Satisfied with Stellar Solar

Just wanted to write a quick note with regards to our Satisfaction with Stellar Solar. We purchased our system on Black Friday(11/26/2021) and it was up and running with a PTO on 12/17/2021. The sales process was very easy, Tom answered all of my questions. Installation was scheduled for the two weeks later, then we got our PTO on 12/17. The installation crew did a wonderful job and the configuration guy was very helpful with all my questions. Thanks Stellar!

A Great Experience!

I called around and got several quotes on a solar package for my home. All along the way, I felt like I was being "sold" to. I then called Stellar Solar and was connected with Marc Cirelli, who gave me all the proper info I was looking for and helped guide me through the process. It was seamless and actually more affordable than all other quotes I received. The process and install was quick and now I essentially don't have an energy bill! I would highly recommend Stellar Solar.

Great Job

Before installing my solar system I interviewed several solar installers. I hired Stellar Solar because they were highly professional and willing to work with me. With only a few adjustments, my solar system has worked very well over the past six years and has been a great investment. Zac Dowell at Stellar Solar was my sales contact and I found him very knowledgeable.

Stellar Solar is AMAZING!

We've had an AMAZING experience with Stellar Solar!! We were referred to Erin Presley in Sales by one of our neighbors and Erin has been fantastic from start to finish. She was incredibly responsive, very flexible, and beyond knowledgeable. She set up an introductory Zoom call to walk my wife and I through everything with solar since we were new to everything and was beyond patient and helped answer all of our questions. She's not pushy AT ALL, gives you her honest opinion and advice from years of experience in the industry, and works to ensure you're happy and pleased with every decision and choice point. She made the whole process simple and easy to understand and helped us through each step. From there, every other person we've worked with at Stellar has been phenomenal. From Jeff Warren who brilliantly handled all of the scheduling, planning, and logistics and was so flexible and accommodating ... to the actual installation crew that was BEYOND courteous, respectful, and organized ... to Nolan who helped with the final inspections and would always make himself available to help with anything big or small and would routinely go above and beyond ... to Anthony who was one of the wonderful techs who helped to actually commission and turn on the system ... and to Alishia who was in the service department who helped ensure our system was up and running properly right before a long holiday weekend. We can't thank Stellar Solar enough and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to work with the best solar company in San Diego. Even more amazing, our whole process was unbelievably fast and efficient! From the day we first spoke with Erin to the day we were officially up and running with PTO from SDG&E (after install, inspections, approvals, etc.) was less than 2 weeks. We absolutely love our system, know Stellar Solar will be there if and when any issues arise, and can't thank them all enough!!!

Fanstatic work Stellar Solar

New solar installation...I recently installed (Dec 2021) 10-LG425Kw solar panels with Solar Edge HD Wave delivered by Stellar Solar-Oceanside, CA. The service was exceptional, the entire project took 3 weeks from installation, inspection and system turned on remotely. I recommend working Erin Presley at Stellar Solar very knowledgeable.

Great company! Repeat customer

We had another great experience with Stellar Solar. Stellar did our initial installation for our rooftop solar several years ago. Everything has worked great and they were able to quickly resolve a panel issue when one of our microinverters went down. They even advocated to have the panel manufacturer compensate us for several months of loss production in the form of a gift card! This year, we decided to expand our system and add back up batteries. Given our previous great experience, it was an easy choice to go with them again. We were not disappointed at all! Connor helped design a system that would integrate our previous install with the add on panels and batteries. The installers made quick work and were very respectful and made everything look great. PTO and inspection came very quick as well. The new improved system has been working flawlessly. We're out of roof space for any more expansion, but we will definitely use Stellar again if we ever move to a new place and need another system. I have 100% confidence in their future support and warranties of their installation.
