Stellar Solar

Outstanding

Kenny and his team could not have been better. From start to finish they handled every aspect of the install, working with SDGE, and getting the PTO with professionalism and efficiency. I would use them again without question.

We had a great experience with Stellar. The team that came out to give us our initial quote was super helpful in answering our questions and our sales rep made sure to give us updates every step of the way. The installation was painless and they even helped us out with a charger for an electric vehicle in our garage.

Honest, Communicative, and Reliable

We had a great experience purchasing and installing our system with Stellar Solar in late 2021. Our salesperson, Kenny, was honest, transparent about design decisions, and exceptionally communicative from start to finish. Our system is producing the predicted output, and has been trouble-free in its first year.

Seamless install from Excellent Company

We just got Solar installed from Stellar Solar. If you are thinking about Solar then I highly recommend them. They are super professional and made our install pretty easy from start to finish. Our salesman Marc answered all my questions and really helped us as we weighed our needs and all the options. There's also a pretty sweet tax credit that made it a no brainer. I shopped about 6 companies and Stellar stood out as the best. The install and communication was seamless.

Stellar Solar is wonderful!

Stellar Solar was a pleasure to work with! Connor was very thorough and patient with walking us through the home solar installation process. He laid out all the options we had and gave his suggestions on what would work best for our needs and home. The installation process went extremely smoothly. We found out that we didn’t have enough space in our breaker box for the system, but they added a sub panel for us with no additional charge. They were also great with follow ups and making sure that we would get our inspections done in a timely manner ensuring that we would be able to utilize the solar system quickly. We would recommend them to anyone looking for solar installation and already have referred some family and friends! We have been enjoying A/C during all the summer heatwaves. A+++

Highly recommended

I wanted to share my great experience with my solar installer Stellar Solar located here in San Diego county. It began with my consultant Connor Smith who's presentation won over my business. Connor's no pressure presentation and being able to answer ALL my questions during and after was great. Knowing Stellar Solar would be able to handle the install from soup to nuts (panel installation, battery installation, electrical) was also a major deciding factor. Stellar has all these services in-house which makes for a coordinated and seamless install. If an issue were to ever happen I did not want various contractors pointing fingers. In all i couldn't be happier with how this process went and highly recommend this company if you're in the market for solar.

San Diego: Carmel Valley: (9) 400w SunPower panels

Full and enthusiastic endorsement for Stellar Solar - if you are like many fence sitters, overloaded with potential vendor choices and no clear way to differentiate their product or services I’d like to help remove some stress. For most of us, this solar purchase may be a one time purchase..and not something all our neighbors have experience with. If you value prompt, clear and courteous email and phone communication- choose Stellar.. value an assortment of panels from proven vendors, chose Stellar. Value fair price that isn’t a low ball sham or marked up because of your zip code, chose Stellar… and finally if you’re still not sure who to go with - how about just trust the fact that Stellar solar has been named “Best Solar Company” by SD readers poll for the 6th year in a row and 10 out of past 12 years. Just play the odds and go with Stellar.

We did quite a bit of research on different solar companies in the area. Stellar stood out and we chose Stellar to be our solar company. The sales process was smooth without any surprises. The installation process was on schedule and we were provided with regular project updates. We have been very happy with our system and would highly recommend Stellar. Thank you Stellar Solar!!!!! #StellarSolar

Job Well Done

We finally went solar! We did a lot of shopping and curiously we started and ended with Stellar Solar We got ten quotes along the way. There's a lot of competitors out there and a lot of choices. Ours is a little unique, one we overbuilt for the second house we are building on property and it is a ground mount. Some vendors didn't really like the ground mount and were eager to sell us a new roof as well as solar. We had great communication from the team each step of the way. There was a minor mishap along the way, but Stellar took responsibility and never even hinted that they wouldn't. Completely handled to my satisfaction. How a company handles things when they don't go perfect tells me a lot about the company's integrity. I am reassured that they will continue to stand by their work for years to come. Looking forward to our big tax credit next year. I commend Stellar Solar to anyone in the market.

Excellent experience!

Just had a solar system installed by Stellar Solar. They were easy to work with, fast and the system looks and works great! I highly recommend for anyone looking for solar in the San Diego area.

Stellar Solar is stellar

We chose Stellar Solar for our solar installation. From beginning to end, estimate/design to turning on the system, their service was outstanding. The project proceeded quickly and smoothly. Our solar production exceeds the estimate we were given. We couldn't be happier that we chose Stellar Solar.

Stellar Solar was with us every step of the process when it came to getting solar panels for our house. From the initial step of getting a quote to the final step of turning on our solar panels, Stellar Solar was informative, responsive, and genuine. The process was efficient and easy! I was thoroughly impressed with their amazing customer service and with how quickly they got the job done! Considering that there has been a supply chain shortage and materials were in high demand, Stellar Solar still offered competitive pricing. We were referred by a family member and I couldn't have been happier to work with Connor and his team. I would highly recommend Stellar Solar to anyone looking to get solar. I've been on a home improvement spree since retirement, so I've done my due diligence when it comes to researching a company to work with. Stellar Solar left a lasting impression for me to recommend them to anyone who asks without sparing any details. Also, solar panels are truly a great investment, especially living in San Diego when it's sunny year round, it honestly pays for itself with the money you save on the electricity bill!

Solar addition

For anyone interested in solar panels, we just added to our system (we had 8 panels from the previous owner) and had a great experience with Stellar Solar. We brought out about 5 companies (I know, a lot but we do our due diligence) and Stellar wasn't the cheapest, but after doing some research, they use the newest and best materials and had the best reviews on the installation process. The reviews were not wrong. The installers that came out ended up having a pretty tough job because of the angles that they had to install the panels so what should have been a 1 day job, turned into a two day job--or at least it would have if the team didn't stay late to finish the job. They did have to come back for an hour a few days later to finalize a couple things but they made it really easy. The best part is they handled all the permits and paperwork, I just got emails from the county/utility that everything was done. Here are pictures: you can see our old (uglier) panels compared to the newer all black panels. If you go with them, your roof will look a lot nicer with only the black panels!

We had been wanting to get solar panels for quite a while, one of our friends told us about Stellar Solar. He told us that he had looked around for solar companies. He convinced us that Stellar Solar was the best out there! We are so glad and happy that we followed his lead to Stellar Solar. From the beginning to the end everyone on the Stellar Solar team from Zac, the sales manager, Jeff, the project coordinator, Ana, the customer experience manager, and all of the installers were efficient and helpful as they guided us through the purchase and installation of our solar panels. Our solar panels have being keeping our house nice and cool! Fernando and Carol La Mesa,ca

Excellent solar company

We just completed our solar installation with Stellar Solar after looking into a few companies. This company was recommended by our neighbors. Kenny, our sales rep, and the rest of the team have been transparent, timely and helpful throughout the whole process. We are confident we chose Stellar and have already recommended them to friends and family.

Very professional, helpful and amazing value

Hey neighbors! Wanted to help out with a reminder that the large federal rebate on solar panels will be decreasing substantially soon, and the power buyback rate by SDGE will also be likely dropping to wholesale soon, so now is the time to get solar on your home! Jessie and I highly recommend Dave Gersz at Stellar Solar. Contact him at 619.884.9899 or daveg@stellarsolar.net They communicated really well, were honest, and patiently and clearly taught us about the ins and outs of solar.

Super smooth solar install

There are a lot of choices nowadays when it comes to solar. But one needs to do their homework. Stellar made the process easy and smooth from the beginning to the end. All employees were professional and knew their job to a tee! The whole install process was smooth and fairly quick. Our system is up and running with no issues. I 100% recommend Stellar Solar! Thank you so much for making our home efficient and ultimately saving us a ton in the future.

Stellar Solar - Great Experience

Wanted to give a big shout out to Stellar Solar They exceeded all of our expectations, getting the install and turn on completed prior to all estimates with minimal time/effort on our end. 6 months later and our electricity bill consistently down each month from about $315 to about $10/mnth. Thank you @Marc Cirelli and team!

Best Solar Company I have ever worked with!!!

I referred my clients over to Dave at Stellar solar and himself and staff took amazing care of my clients! My client - whom sold his home and bought another with me - is experienced and has purchased solar many times before, he only had amazing things to say about his experience with Stellar and said the COST for the system he got was AMAZING and he received several bids. If you want a strong referral partner, or you just want amazing service and system at a great price, you need to call Stellar Solar!

Stellar Solar gives stellar service!

We had a solar system installed by Stellar Solar - I highly recommend this company to anyone in San Diego who is considering installing a solar system. We are saving a lot of money every month on electricity. Our sales representative, Kenny, has been very responsive and helpful. Many of our neighbors are also using this company - can't recommend Stellar Solar enough!

Happy customer

Stellar Solar was easy to work with. The process was streamlined and our solar was up and running much quicker than we expected. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful Experience

We had a great experience with Stellar Solar. We met with 6 or 7 reps from various solar companies and our rep, Connor, was by far the most professional. He walked us through all the pros and cons. He helped us make the best financial and long term decision (which was to purchase the panels), and he shepherded us through the entire process. The panels were put up quickly. They look great. And most important, our electric bill went from like $400 a month to $50. We save so much and don't stress about running the AC. Only once did we have tech questions and everyone was super helpful. A technician came out within the week, examined everything, and explained how the system was functioning (basically less sunlight means less energy, I felt like a genius :)). For a large investment, we feel GREAT about going with Stellar Solar.

A STELLAR Experience

Stellar Solar recently completed a large panel and battery installation for us. They were by far the most professional company that we spoke with while researching and came recommended by our friends as well. The entire process from first contact to PTO was only a few months! Our rep Zac and the install teams were great, everyone was on time and answered our questions thoroughly.

Recommend without reservation

The short...my experience with Stellar Solar was a 10 out of 10. From my first consult with Dave Gersz to final Permission to Operate the process and support by Stellar was easy, efficient, and thorough. Everyone I dealt with, in every step along the way, was competent, professional, and helpful. The installation took one day. The crew were efficient, and worked diligently. They were careful, respectful of my property, and did a thorough cleanup. I would also like to specifically acknowledge the jobs Eric did on the electrical side of things, and Victor the Inspections Tech. I can't say enough positive things about them, and the jobs they did. I can say I had great customer service from Stellar Solar, and given my experience recommend Stellar Solar without reservation

Stellar solar - Tesla Backup Battery

This is my third project with Stellar Solar where I added a Tesla backup battery to my Solar System. From the time I requested a price quote to the final stage when my system was on, I had a great experience. The project manager kept me informed with all the stages, milestones, schedules, and deliverables. All the team members (design, installation, commissioning, and inspection) were very skilled, professional, customer-oriented, and great to deal with. I strongly recommend Stellar Solar for all solar related projects where you get competitive pricing and high-quality outcome.
