Solar Tech Elec LLC

Awesome!

These guys are well educated professionals who care about the positive impact of solar. They explained everything simply and did an outstanding quality job for me. I could not be happier.

Best price, best service.

Definitely use Solar Tech Elec for all your home Solar panel needs. Ross Dyson and Celeste and just about the nicest people. The solar panel price point is way less than every one else. What I liked most was how transparent Ross was with me during the qualifying process. I asked many many questions and Ross was always gracious enough to answer them honestly and throughly. I can’t say enough about them. I gave them the highest possible ratings. If there is one thing I would like to be approved upon in the future was how long the whole process takes. So be prepared to pack your patience. A lot of these things are beyond their control, (like building permits etc.) and they are really good about following up with you to give you updates on the process. I have been personally recommending them to my friends and family. I hope you feel the same once they take care of you.

Solar Panel Project.

Great Experience! Ross took care of everything. Solar Panels look great and installed quickly. Very affordable cash price. Thank you Solar Elec LLC.

Great job!

Top of the line solar equipment, on time installation and friendly staff.

Great product, install that looks great, full power, great team.

Solar tech Electric was best choice for our project. We wanted full power completely eliminating the increasing costs power. We interviewed 8 companies. I liked the straight talk and simple solution and warranty to cover 25 years and next generation as well. Ross was confident and helped us to get the product we wanted and the installation that looks great. Our system provides us with room to expand when we wish to get electric car charging Battery in future. We are more than pleased with the work done, product and highly recommend Solar TechElec.

Great Job!

Ross and his team did a great job installing our new solar roof panels. Very pleased with the results.

Competitive Price, Best Technology

I chose Solar Elec Tech LLC because they were the highest rated among all the proposals I received using the EnergySage.com website.

Fantastic service & a great job

From start to finish all went smoothly & we were kept up to date with the progress. The install was very neat & looks great Thank you

Success during COVID install

Let me say that installing solar during Covid has been a challenge. Ross was able to get it done and definitely had the best price. So far, seems to be working well. Supply chain and other obstacles are to be expected if you install during this period, however, Solar Tech Elec LLC is still providing a great service. Looking forward to many, many years of solar production. Sit back and put the sun glasses on!

Great job

We had a unique experience with our install. We didn’t think we’d ever be able to get our DIY solar kit installed. That’s where Ross and SolarTechElec came in. Ross and Celeste were super helpful at scheduling and installing. Their communication was always fast, friendly, and detailed. After the initial install, there were some issues with the system (not his fault at all) But Ross and the team jumped into action and got it all fixed. He even drove from Clearwater to our house in central Florida many times to make sure our system was running and we were happy. His commitment to his customers is exceptional. His team (Celeste included) made the very stressful process easy, convenient, and friendly. I absolutely recommend them.

My Solar Install Experience

Ross installed my system about 3 years ago when I I built a new home. To date, my system has generated 42.2 mWh (42,200 kWh) of electricity for my home. If you’ve been thinking about going solar this is the company to call because I called all the others before I had my system installed and they were by far the least expensive and provided the same or better quality of product.

Excellent Company

Ross and his team at Solar Tech Elec have been nothing but amazing from first call, through permitting and installing, and even a couple years after install. My system was installed and up and running within a month of receiving my quote and the prices were unbeatable. After having my system for a couple years I rarely have a bill and usually carry credits. Ross even checks in from time to time to make sure everything is operating like it should be. A+ company

Top Notch Solar

I have been very satisfied with my system. I consider my house to be a power abuser and the massive system installed has helped finally get everything under control

Good quality work

Quality of the equipment seems excellent, and the installers were very professional and efficient. Still running great after a year and a half. After some months, it was apparent that my system was a bit undersized, so Solar TechElec added some more panels at their own expense, which they weren't really required to do.

A happy customer

Solar Tech was professional, fast and best price for the best product. Ross has been very helpful and communicative even when we were having trouble with our power company.

Very professional and best price

The Solar Tech Elec LLC to finished our 11,470 Watt solar system installation in just two days, and on the 3rd day they passed the final inspection. The same day when the inspection was passed Solar Tech Elec applied to Duke Energy on our behalf for a meter swap. It may take sometime for Duke to review before they can do the swap. We highly recommend using this company because they did a professional installation at the time when they scheduled it and completed it in timely fashion and passed the final inspection the next day. The communication either with Ross, the owner, or Celeste, the office manager, was friendly, supportive and prompt. We were able to electronically sign the contract and they did the installation and passed inspection even we weren’t at home at that time. And we had to pay only when the final inspection was passed. Not only that Solar Tech Elec did a great job, but the price per watt was better than from any other solar company. I will update this review after Duke connect us to the grid, which may take some time, due to coronavirus situation.

Simply the Best.

We shopped many different solar companies before we chose Solar Tech Elec LLC. We have 90 panels in three separate systems with an 8kw battery backup. Solar Tech panels and systems are superior to all of the others that we looked at. They also had the best price. The installers are very knowledgeable and excel at what they do. I would highly recommend Solar Tech Elec LLC to anyone wanting solar. We would not go with any other company.

Just do it!

Now is the time - Solartechelec did a thorough design and installation. Ross was great to deal with throughout the process. We ran into a snag with our house electrical grounds (water pipe had been converted to PVC) but Ross & team got it all resolved. We just zeroed our our power bill this month!

Response to malfunctioning inverter

Ross contacted us letting us know the solar was not producing solar energy. The inverter has stopped working. He ordered a new one and replaced the bad one and we are now producing solar energy again. He is contacting the manufacturer to reimburse us for electric costs for the five weeks we were without solar. Thank you Solartech Elec and Ross!

Strong Recommend. Compared with 5 Estimates by Other Companies.

I have a 14.3 kW system installed by SolarTechElec. They were available within a couple of days as opposed to a month by some other installers. The price was 1/3 less than some other installers and the installation was started in less than a month. My roofing system is concrete tile, and the install required a significant amount of effort by SolarTech that was far more than anticipated, but the solar panels were installed in 3 days with a crew of 4 working on the roof. I selected the Enphase microinverters to lessen the diameter of the large gauge wire that must be used for the DC systems. SolarTechElec is a smooth company to work with, and the Enphase power monitoring system is available on a smartphone or on a home PC so you can track the useage. The system is producing exactly as much as predicted by the SolarTechElec modeling completed the same day as the initial visit. I am now adding energy to the electric grid, and am a net producer instead of just a consumer of electricity. Strong recommend! Very satisfied customer. They have consistently good reviews.

Great customer service

Ross responded quickly to questions that I had and explained them until I understood. They started later in the morning per my request and still finished the install in one day. I have now had my system for 2.5yrs and am still happy with the performance. I am averaging 16.2MWh, which is right at what I was quoted my system would do.

Quick and Efficient

Ross Dyson, owner of SolarTechElec, made a complex issue easy to understand and install. 35 solar panels were on our roof within 2 weeks of signing the paperwork. Ross negotiated a fair price, promptly responded to our texts, answered all our questions and even installed the equipment to enable solar monitoring on our phone. We generated 1000 KWH in January and can't wait to see our savings in our first power bill.

Ross and Team were great and easy to worth with!

Ross and his team were great! We were quoted quickly and his team took the right steps to ensure our install was smooth! I would recommend them to anyone looking to go solar. We were fortunate to find them through a co-op in our community. They were competitive and still efficient even with their larger number of installs that summer.
