Solar Rising

I am completely satisfied with Solar Rising. I highly recommend them. I decided to contract with Solar Rising primarily because of their 5 star rating. Customer ratings matter to me because there is no reliable substitute for actual experience. In addition to the 5 star rating, Solar Rising offered a prepaid lease arrangement that provided us with the government discounts that the current administration took away shortly after the president was elected. The prepaid lease arrangement may not be unique to Solar Rising, but it was the favorable financial arrangement that we were looking for. We are very pleased with the quality of the solar panels, the microinverters, the Enphase electronics, and the related hardware including the critter guards to keep squirrels and the like out from under the panels. We are equally as pleased with the quality of the installation. The installation technicians were skilled and had the installation completed sooner than we expected. Additionally, the service has been outstanding, including a visit to address a problem with the network connection to the Enphase component. The problem was solved using powerline ethernet adapters to work around a wifi issue. The solution performs flawlessly. Finally, the communication with Solar Rising was excellent. The office staff were responsive and completely transparent. When you add it all up, this company will meet or exceed all of your expectations.

I hired Solar Rising to clean my solar panels at a very reasonable price, in my opinion. It was well worth keeping me off a ladder! Not only that, their very professional and personable crew uncovered a squirrels' nest under one of the panels, cleared it away, and repaired the damaged done by nibbling, all in the same cleaning visit. To quickly unclamp a panel to work underneath on the wiring, then set it back in place and operational, to me shows real expertise and experience. Without caked-on pollen and sap, my array looks brand new again! I'm very glad that I chose Solar Rising for this task.

Solar Rising has been an outstanding provider for the past 8 years. Every interaction with them has been great. We have a SolarEdge inverter that’s experienced several faults and they’ve always been quick to troubleshoot and resolve despite the fact that we live several hours away.

I had a storm-damaged 12 year old array and the installer was long gone; I called Solar Rising on a Thursday and they had someone out to look at the damage and secure the system within 24 hours. They found replacement panels and parts for my ground mount, had my system up and running during a cold rainstorm the following Monday. All with great attitude, particularly for working in the rain and at a very reasonable price. First rate service I highly recommend them.

From initial contact to final Permission to Operate, the team at Solar Rising was fantastic. Great communication, informed responses to many initial questions, ease of contracting, on-time installation over two days in promised window, and an experienced team with attention to detail. 7kW system with whole home battery backup is operating flawlessly and exceeding production forecasts. Highly recommend.

Great experience!

I could not be more pleased with the services I received from Solar Rising. From start to finish they were very well organized, efficient, friendly with excellent communication. Real professionals with integrity, not so common these days. I appreciated that they came out to the house and did a thorough evaluation, advised the best number of panels and answered questions. I have whole heartedly recommended them to all of my neighbors. A really great experience. Plus, just got my 1st electric bill ZERO!

Excellent and Professional Service

It was a pleasure working with Solar Rising. Their staff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They answered all of our questions promptly and fully. Once we agreed to have them do the installation ( solar panels and house battery) they worked with the electric company to get all the paperwork in place for the installation to begin. Their installation crew was great. They worked very cleanly and had the solar array wired and up in just a few days. They walked us through getting the battery up and running in person and answered all of our follow up questions. Lastly, they made sure we has everything we needed for the tax incentives etc. A top notch operation from start to finish. I would enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking to have solar work done on their home

Solar Rising has been excellent to work with. They provided a competitive price and completed the installation in the time frame that they promised. The installation and administrative staff staff were very responsive to questions and kept us well informed throughout the entire process. The system has been producing with no issues and early indications are that it will meet or exceed expectations.

This company has been wonderful to work with and after a month up and running we have no complaints and no electric bill. Yay.

Owner

Solar rising was very professional, installation and activation were done as scheduled. dealings with utility were excellent as well.

Great experience

We used Solar Rising to install solar panels on our new barn and install and electric vehicle charging station as well. They were incredibly easy to work with, managed every step of the way in the state process and did their work efficiently and on schedule. Their relationship with Eversource really helped as well. Highly recommend!

Knowledgeable and trustworthy

Solar Rising came not only recommended to us by neighbors but were also very responsive and knowledgeable about the whole process. We felt comfortable with the whole team - they walked us through the process, did a great job with the installation (panels and battery) and they also took care of the paperwork all along the way. Everything was done by the book and without hiccups. We would totally recommend them as installers of Solar - we are so glad we've made the decision to save trees! If you want the expert in the area, talk to Solar Rising! Bonus: Super nice team!

Great Company to work with!

I really enjoyed the professionalism and knowledge of everyone I spoke to or met at this company. They answered all questions quickly and the installation process was very smooth. All the field staff work for the company...they do not sub out any work to other electricians, or installers. This way they show up and get the job done when they say they will and at the contracted price.

Don't look any further

I was extremely pleased with the entire process! Solar Rising was a pleasure to work with. From my initial contact, the sales process, contract, installation, and go-live, everything was handled with professionalism. The office staff was responsive and friendly, and the installation crew was fantastic! Everything was done exactly as promised. I got several other estimates and the difference between Solar Rising and their competitors was incredible. If there were more than five stars in the rating system, I would give them to Solar Rising.

Amazing throughout each step of the installation

Solar Rising has the solar panel installation process streamlined to make it very easy on their customers. As a local company, they are also very responsive, professional, and helpful people who are a pleasure to interact with. From the inspection to permits and paperwork, to installation, I was impressed by how smooth everything went. I highly recommend working with Solar Rising for your solar solar panel installations!

Exceeded expectations !

I got bids from multiple companies and Solar Rising was the clear choice. The team is very accessible, professional, and responsive. They are completely turn key from planning to permitting thru completion and beyond. With over 30 years of experience Chris, Neal, Ben, Angela, Mike, and Renee are local and committed for the long haul. After offering several options we settled on a solar pergola which offered 89% efficiency and was built from the ground up. We could not be more pleased and highly recommend Solar Rising.

As good as advertised

Began process with a national solar provider but opted for 2nd opinion from a local provider in belief I would get more personal attention. Solar Rising reached out to me with a detailed easy to read report on what I could expect for performance and tax incentives. Found this very informative and helpful. I felt very comfortable dealing with staff of Solar Rising, no high pressure sales pitch. Due to Covid-19 issues process was delayed somewhat but installation crew did show up with ample notification. Very impressed with installation crew. The were all very professional, serious, and sincere. Nobody was blowing smoke at me. Everybody seemed like family. The process began in February and I started generating solar power June 28. During this whole time Solar Rising was very responsive to all my concerns. Solar Rising did pretty much all the work regarding application paper work. Would definitely recommend this firm to anyone contemplating solar power.

Excellent from start to finish

The entire team was knowledgeable, professional and responsive.

Solar install

Happy customer

Friendly, efficient, compentent. Couldn't have asked for more. Very helpful in explaining everything, including SMART program

Fast & Responsive Installation, Strong Support

Within a few days after I contacted Solar Rising, they visited my house, analyzed my electrical bills and sent a clear and brief proposal. When I accepted their quote, they performed the installation on a tight schedule so I could hit a year-end deadline for maximizing the federal deduction. The folks have been extremely responsive and it's been a pleasure to deal with Solar Rising from the initial bid through the turnkey installation!

Great people, skilled technicians

We had a Tesla power wall Installation. Easy to work with. One day installation by well trained and courteous technicians. No pressure sales as well.

Outstandiong Customer Relations

Friendly Staff, capable and full service. Answer all your questions and meet any of you special requirements. These guys are Fantastic and from quote to finish and beyond

Outstanding Customer Service

When I completed my online bid application for solar panels Solar Rising was the first to contact me. Steve asked me pointed questions to better understand my goals. He put together a very thorough proposal. We met with him and Angela in their office to go over all the specifics so we would have a thorough understanding of the process and expectations. Everything was done on time and exactly as we discussed. Angela was great in making sure the enrollment in the MA SMART program was seamless. Would highly recommend Solar Rising

Fantastic customer service from beginning to end!

The staff at Solar Rising was very responsive and helpful from the bidding process through installation. Their estimate was full of useful information and easy to understand, not to mention very competitive with other local installers. They took care of all of the paperwork for permits and SRECs. The guys who came to install the panels did a very professional job, both on the roof, and in the house, where they took care to not scuff up any of the interior surfaces. I had a 5.69 kW system installed with Sunpower panels. I couldn't be happier with the performance of these panels, and the SRECs I've generated with them. I would highly recommend Solar Rising for your solar energy needs.

THE BEST SOLAR COMPANY HANDS DOWN!!!!

We researched 8 companies when looking to install solar panels, everything from which panels to buy, down to if we had to cut down trees, to cost, effectiveness etc. Solar Rising came in with the best of everything that we wanted, at the lowest costs. The helped us get into the SREC program, helped us with the state and federal incentives, and referred us to the lowest interest loan companies. They arrived on time, and the installation only took several hours. Within a day, the squirrels were trying to build nests under the panels, and they came out immediately and installed squirrel guards. They answered every and all questions! The only things that took too long were the changeover from Eversource, and waiting for the town inspectors to show up and give their seal of approval. LOOK NO FURTHER PEOPLE, go with Solar Rising, you will not be disappointed. Since installation, we only get 1 small electric bill once a year (around Christmas), and the payback from the SREC trade is wonderful, money in the bank!!

Solar Rising is the complete package!

Solar Rising installed an 8.64 kWh system with battery back September 2017. Over the winter we had seamless energy during the many power outages that allowed us to maintain heat, refrigerator, and wifi. We were comfortable through all of it. The folks at Solar Rising were wonderful to work with. It is important to have folks who not only know the system that you want, but what the industry is doing, how the government programs work, etc. Solar Rising had it all. I've been geeking about in the world of solar for 30 years and they were simply great about working with me and my ideas. They also knew how to move the financing and kept us moving forward. And everyone is so nice. They really have it down and are the full package you want installing your system

Price, Quality, Service

7.68 kW system in 3 arrays on 3 different roof planes. Bid price was 3rd lowest of 7 bids received, but the Company provided premium panels and accommodated the addition of a circuit, with a 60-foot run from the main panel, for a EV charger. The company made an on-site inspection prior to my acceptance of their bid. This resulted in zero change orders and no surprises during the installation. After their bid was accepted, the schedule of permitting and work proceeded as stated by the Company. The Company provided a strong labor and materials warranty. Since I had done some research, the Company accommodated my preferences without compromising, based on their experience, their recommendations on the design and equipment specifications. The workers that arrived on site were polite, deliberate, efficient, and neat. Installation took a day and a half. It is quality workmanship with all electrical conduit being able to be run internally. Besides being locally owned and operated, the team of people I have interacted with are very professional and responsive to all my questions and concerns.

A Great Experience!

From beginning to end the entire staff was professional and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Our very first electric bill after the installation was zero. We are very happy with the SunPower panels we chose. They are attractive and functioning perfectly.

Great Solar Experience

Solar Rising was the first company to give me an estimate for a complete solar system. I chose them for their knowledge, expertise, and professionalism. Everyone, especially Angela and Neal, were always willing to answer questions and helped with every step of the process. From our first meeting to complete installation took only a few months and now the system is generating power. I'd recommend Solar Rising without reserve.
