12.9 KW Solar system

Very happy with my installation. Onest sale person-Jeff Nachman. Got the best system/best price. $10,000 less than any other competitor. Jeff knows the business and it's an honest person. I had another company which tried to charge me over $10,000 for a 10KW system acting like a car dealer. No other solar company came close to this one. My system produced 8.1 MW (8,100KW) since june this year. I love it. B Let's Go Brandon can increase the energy price as much as he wants. I am setup for the next 30 years (30 years warranty on my system).

If you care about future of the earth go solar! And, if you want a hassle free service go with SEW. Believe me! This process can be so frustrating if you don't pick a right partner. SEW does the job from womb to tomb. From design to installation, from getting permit to filing Clean Energy Rebate application, from paperwork with your utility company to application for SREC. This is a new industry and so many companies have started as a contractor, but you have only one chance and you don't want to miss it by going with inexperienced companies who just buy the panels from COSTCO and install it! Design is a key factor. If you want a clean job, then call Solar Energy World and ask for Jeff Nachman. He'll schedule a short meeting. You won't lose anything! Even if you're not lucky enough and your roof does not get enough sunlight or house doesn't fit for solar panel, you'll learn a lot and will find a good friend! And best of all, you don't need to pay a penny in advanced. They give you several options including lease and finance.

Worst experience of my life

All I can say is do not do business with this company! This company took over 6 months to install my solar. They lied to me the whole time about permitting and timelines, broke multiple electrical components of my brand new circuit breaker and then charged me to fix it, and worst of all took money from me to upgrade my electric panel and then refused to perform the service and have not refunded my money. They took nearly $1,000 from me and then refused to refund it all back after rejecting the service. The install took so long that now i am paying for my large energy bills on top of my loan bill since they did not complete the permitting and utility start on time. They have gaslighted and bullied me through the whole process and refused to take responsibility for their mistakes or refund me what I paid.

Right on target

At every step of the process, Solar Energy did exactly what they said would maximize our system. They designed it to get the most our of our house architecture and installed it right on schedule. They predicted precisely how many annual kWh's it would produce, and what our annual income and savings would be. They are always available for follow up phone calls about SRECs and PEPCO's accounting. I heartily recommend you go with them.

Great to work with

SEW took us through the sometimes complicated regulatory process of installing solar panels. They took care of all the paperwork and worked with the county historical agency to get the required permits. Because we are in a historic district this was an especially onerous task. Austin was great to work with and kept us in the loop.

I abandoned my initial solar project contract with another company when their pushy sales pitch began to raise some discomfort for me. After a bit of a breather I selected Solar Energy World since Energy Sage listed SEW as having great ratings (and the best price). I was preparing myself for another round of agony. Daren Weatherby contacted me and suggested that he would like to work with me on my solar project, we discussed multiple panel layout diagrams, shade study reports, made changes to our original design after he reviewed them with his engineers and decided we could improve performance with another plan variant. The somewhat frustrating part were the permitting time delays due to COVID. Daren kept me updated on progress, even when there was no update to be given, which was appreciated. Time finally came for the panel/electrical installation, the crews sent where polite, respectful, and left no debris of any sort behind. Just a joy to work with. Melanie Beasley and Kristin Manzo kept scheduling on track, were always polite and a pleasure to deal with. Just this morning I activated the system, 100% satisfied customer so far. Install of 26 panels on 3 story house on windy Chesapeake Bay!

Solar Energy World installers were just amazing. I would give them 10 stars !!!! They arrived on site as planned, but did not - i am sure - expect to see that the roof was on a 3 story residence. ....and there was a slight breeze coming off the shore......they did a fine Job, Charley, David, David, Dequan, and i am sorry, i dont remember the name of the lad who was just starting his first installation.....The crew was here for 2 days, the first day was devoted to installing the framework, and the second day was mainly for the install of the panels. The electrician Charley did all the conduit work and wiring of the Enphase panel.....and explained and answered all of my questions.....i had many!!! The whole crew was great! They worked under very hard conditions,. The first day was extremely windy on the Bay, and they had to climb ladders 30 + feet in height.... I also need a shout out for Jeff Nachman, responsible for enrolling us in this solar adventure!....Jeff is quite a salesman and did his job engaging us!! I had a lot of questions for Jeff, and we continue to text each other and he explains the whole solar thing so i can understand it. Jeff is perfect at his job! All in all, the crew was great and we are happy with the installation and look forward to many years of Solar bliss and are glad to enter the world of green energy!!! Jim and Sandra

I vetted at least 4-6 solar companies, and I have to say that I made the right choice. My solar rep Paul was the ultimate customer service professional. He made, what I thought was a daunting decision, very manageable. I felt like I had a family member holding my hand through the process.
