Solar Energy World

Great service

It was a pleasure to deal with Travis for our entire solar project. From day one he was responsive to every text and every phone call and answered every time. From our initial phone call to the system being installed was in a matter of weeks, which is unheard of the designed portion didn’t even take anywhere near the estimate that he gave me which was quite impressive. I would recommend Travis to anyone wanting to install solar.

Company was enjoyable to work with were not the cheapest option but did have the best quality from local sources. Jacques was an excellent sales rep and also helped out years after installation.

Excellent Service

I had a great experience with this Solar Energy World. From the initial consultation to the final installation, the team was professional and very helpful. Alex is my go-to person and he is amazing. He answered all my questions and made the whole process easy to understand. The installation crew was on time, efficient, and left everything clean afterward. I’m not seeing the benefits yet since it’s the Winter season and the sun has not been coming out but I am excited for the Spring. I hope to feel the benefits on my energy bill in the coming months. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to switch to solar.

Great Honest Salesman

I didn’t know shit about Solar until Robert Sherman. Rob showed up prepared to make SEW proud. He was very HONEST about the system the pricing and install. I would recommend calling Rob for any Solar needs as I have passed his number to many people. I don’t have time to be jerked around or to sit with any other company. After meeting Rob and his up front to the point reality and knowledge of the benefits of Solar I was sold. I has a few issues with the install and Rob went above and beyond to make sure ALL the issues were resolved quickly. I now am very happy with the system that Rob designed. I have also been very pleased with Rob following up not just sell and run. I would recommend SEW if you call Robert Sherman 240-478-7947 he will make sure the customer comes first and you will be 110% Happy.

Solar Energy , Rob Sherman

Throughout the process of investigation, installation , connection to BGE and monitoring my solar panel production, Rob Sherman has been a wonderful resource. He shared how solar worked, was installed, connected and monitored using language that was easy for me to understand. His knowledge of solar was apparent as he answered all of my questions in detail. He explained a variety of options for my home and the advantages of each. Rob discussed each of the steps of installation and a typical time frame for each step. I believe Solar Energy did their best to complete the entire process in a timely manner. Whenever I needed clarification regarding any clerical or other procedure , Rob kindly offered appropriate advise. He continues to be a willing and interested resource. I am pleased with my decision to go solar and look forward to warm weather energy production.

Our experience with Solar Energy World was great. Specifically our advisor Alex Flax. He was really helpful since day one and still. He answered all our questions and was/is there any time we needed him. We did some research and picked this company because of the reviews and the exceptional service provided by Alex. Recommended him and the company 100%

Solar Energy World in Tampa area.

My panels were installed by Solar Energy World in Tampa, and the sale Rep. was Damien and a pleasure to deal with. He was very attentive and helpful throughout installation process. I will recommend him and the company to whoever is looking to install Solar Panels.

Excellent communication

Alex is a very good salesperson to work with. Communication is timely and efficient. The process took a while but that was because of Orange County and Duke Energy delays. Overall would recommend.

Nice company and good experience

I contacted Solar Energy World and a few others solar companies. After some comparison and doing some research, I chose Solar Energy World because of their reputation, proximity, and warranty. I met with Chris Gopalan with no pressure and decided to move forward within my community.

The Columbia Kundrats

Solar installation was very well handled and Jake Shaffer was excellent at explaining the whole process and was good on responding to all our concerns. Really glad we made the choice to save some money on our BG & E !

Alex Starr

I had a great experience with Alex throughout the entire process of getting my solar installed. I am very happy with my system and he continues to stay in touch to make sure I am satisfied. Thanks Ales

Great team to work with on a nice project

The Solar Energy World led by Greg Uhas performed a excellent installation. They allowed me to provide input for the location of the panels. They also ensured I would be satisfied with the final product.

Solar for the win!

I love my solar panels and so does my pockets lol! Greg Uhas is absolutely the best! Every question and concern I had he had an answer for it. Great communication from our initial consultation to the end of installation. He also did check ins months after the installation to ensure everything was working properly. If you are thinking or even slightly curious about solar energy & its benefits, Solar Energy World is the place to start! Thanks again Greg for helping me make the switch and start saving money on these costly BG&E bills!

The Whole process was smooth and painless

Greg Uhas was the best to work with! Installation went very smoothly and we breezed through the County Inspection. Everything is working great and we love our new solar panels!

Alax Far is Amazing

Alax did an amazing job with end to end journey of my solar purchase experience. He was a lawyer available to resolve queries, technical issues and pricing questions. I sincerely appreciate Alax and I feel I made the best decision to purchase Solar via Solar Energy World because of Alax

Stability, Savings, and a seamless solar experience

I was looking for solar company to help protect me rising energy rates with a strong reputation, excellent warranty and could demonstrate financial stability. I met with Chris Gopalan who helped me solidify what I was looking for. The process was smooth from contract to installation. My system turned ON and I am excited to see results.

Andy, laurel office, managed every detail of planning and installation. We found him to be honest with all the details!

A shining example of customer service!

Travis has been such a great help to us in navigating the solar process - so much that we’ve recommend to multiple friends!

Amazing service. 100% guaranteed

SEW was a great company to work with. From the sales process, permit issuance, HOA approval, install, service and customer appreciation, I can’t even imagine a company doing better. Travis Kent has been awesome through the whole process and has stayed in contact with me since the installation was completed. I definitely recommend 100%. I’m getting a 95% off set and am paying over $100 a month less on my power bill due to this system. There’s a small issue with a relay on one of my panels and I’m sure I’ll be over 100% offset when that gets repaired. That process has been very easy so far as well. Again, great company, they deliver what they promise.

Great solar company to buy from. I had my panels installed in early 2024 and have had 0 issues since the installation date. My sales rep, Greg Uhas, was outstanding throughout the installation process. He provided detailed information on the panel installation and savings over the years. The installation only took one day and everyone was professional during the process.

Professional and timely

Solid company to go for with solar. Worked with Andy Grygier. Strong communicator, responsible and get things done right. Recommend if you're doing solar panels in Maryland.

Very efficient and friendly, everyone knows there stuff and there were no pushy sales to deal with. They had flexible options to suit my current needs and future plans.

Highly recommend Solar Energy World!

I have only great things to say about Solar Energy World in general, and about Greg Uhas in particular. In October 2023 we had 16 solar panels installed. Great experience. Then, we decided to add two FranklinWH 15 kWh solar storage batteries. Greg made the whole process easy. The only hold-up for us was waiting on our county to approve permits. After the battery install, we decided to add 14 more panels before the federal tax credit expired. Again, SEW and Greg provided seamless and courteous service to make this happen. Greg remains available to this day whenever I have a question. He responds promptly and completely. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable field rep who can point you in the right direction. 1We have not paid an electricity bill in two years and the investment will pay for itself in another 4.5 years or so. Highly recommend this company!

2 years in and super happy with my decision to go solar

I bought solar panels from Solar Energy World 2 years ago and have been very satisfied with my decision to go solar. I worked with Greg, and he designed the perfect system for my house. He also walked me through each step of the process to make sure everything was filed for my utility as well as local, state, and federal government. All of my friends have been jealous of my solar panels with the recent hikes in energy prices. I would strongly advise anyone on the fence about going solar to give Greg or anyone else on the Solar Energy World team a call.

Quick and clear communication

I purchased our solar panels and battery from SEW through Travis Kent (our sales rep) and he explained the whole process from start to finish. He explained the how the system will work and what to expect. The warranty for the system from SEW was even better than the manufacturer's warranty by 5 years. Travis also came to our house to wait for the city inspectors to get the approval for Net Metering with the utility company. He went above and beyond his normal duties to get us inspected approved weeks ahead of schedule.
