Scot with Solar CenTex was great to work with, all the way from the design to the build of our solar pavilion. His team was efficient, accommodating, and helpful. We were grateful to work with Solar CenTex's team of solar experts for our project.

One word really describes Solar Centex - professional. I went back and counted 23 different e-mails concerning purchasing and installing the system. There were countless texts (I switched phones, so I could not get an exact count) as well and {Name Deleted} always replied within 24 hours (most of the time it was within 1 - 2 hours). They also have a great website where the owner actually publishes the amount of electricity his personal system is producing on a live stream. Their facebook page has a lot of information as well, and they are not afraid to post articles discussing some of the horror stories about installing solar systems. My wife and I were concerned, however, about installing panels when we might be moving within five to ten years. {Name Deleted} was very understanding and worked with us to find a system that worked for our concerns. I really do not think we would have gone ahead with the system if it had not been for all of the communications, support, and articles sent by {Name Deleted} to make sure we were considering all of the aspects about installing a system. I haven't addressed the installation aspect of the process. The installers showed up at EXACTLY 8:00 a.m. They knocked on the door twice, never asked to use the bathroom, cleaned up everything after the installation, and fully explained how to monitor the system. They allowed my wife to video tape the explanation as I was at work and they were fine with that. She tried to tip the lead installer, but he would not take anything. His reply was, "No ma'am. I'm just doing my job." Solar Centex has a lot of great reviews. I guess the only thing I hope to achieve by writing mine is that my wife and I were very anxious about whether or not to install a system because of the possibility of moving. Because of the professionalism of this company (sales and installation), we know we made the right decision. Even if you are just thinking about solar, I would give them a call. {Name Deleted} is a wealth of information and will answer all of your questions promptly and honestly. I highly recommend them!

You Are My Sunshine

We are very pleased and excited to be Solar Centex customers. The process was very easy and surprisingly affordable. We like the app that allows us to see how the panels are working. {Name Deleted} was great at his sales presentation, and the installation crew was very professional and quick. We were especially pleased that the business is local, and the owner came by and checked on the installation. The good news is spreading! A neighbor down the block has recently had his panels installed as well.

If I could do it all over again, I would!!

We had been interested in Solar for a while and stopped by a local company to get some information. They sent a representative out and our experience at that meting nearly turned us away from Solar completely. We then looked at some other companies and were so fortunate to have found Solar Centex. We submitted an online interest form and followed up with a phone call. The call was answered by Mr. Arey who then put me in contact with Mr. Seok. From that initial phone call I can say with 100% conviction that every interaction with Solar Centex has been a positive one. Not only did we get an incredibly thorough estimate from start to finish, we were advised all along the way for the VLB funding and timelines for all aspects. The employees that came out to start marking the location of the project were a lot of fun to talk with as were all of the ones sent out for the construction phase as well. The work that they did is fantastic! So much so that we have had neighbors come over to ask about the product and processes with the intent of getting Solar themselves. I really could go on and on and on about how pleased we are with the product and the service provided by Solar Centex. The only regret that I truly have is that we did not do this sooner.

Good Product ... Good Service

They have provided great service ... from the initial contact all the up to one year after the install. It is a quality product and they are happy to continue to answer any questions you may have long after the install is completed. I am very pleased with the Service that Solar Centex has provided.

Excellent Service and Delivered Products as Promised

Solar Centex made this very easy for consumers. Their customer service is superb and their products are working as promised. My Rep, {Name Deleted} came by a few times to my house to ensure everything was working properly after the installation. He is very professional and diligent. The installer worked around my busy work schedule and {Name Deleted} came by to show me how the monitoring software works and explained to me how to use the app as well. I would recommend this company and highly recommend.

My electric meter is going backwards!

Solar CenTex did an outstanding job in helping me select the right system for my home (thanks {Name Deleted}!), which electric company would buy back my excess (thanks again, {Name Deleted}!), and installing my system. The electrician (don't remember his name) was SUPER helpful.

I should have gone with Solar Cen Tex earlier

After getting a detailed estimate from two other installers, I was still left with lots of questions and lots of concerns. Scot did the initial site survey and {Name Deleted}later followed up with a very detailed and specific survey with scalable options and answered all of my questions. {Name Deleted} even came out a second time and gave the entire detailed estimate to my wife because she was un-available for the first review. My mistake was waiting, I weighed the pro's vs con's for a few months. Once I decided well all that I can say looking back is why did I wait? The installation was excellent, the panels look great, the interface is seamless and most important to me is they were not pushy and the customer support is excellent.

Solar Is Awesome!

Several months ago I saw in our local newspaper that Solar Centex had joined our local chamber. I was somewhat curious about solar power so I contacted them. I warned them upfront that I was just curious, probably not a likely candidate to buy a solar power system. They understood and said they would be glad to come do a site survey and work up a quote on a system. They did so, showed up right on time, did the site survey, answered all my questions, and several days later sent me a quote. Our local electric provider has a rebate for solar, and when you add to that the 30% federal tax credit, I realized that solar is in fact affordable and makes sense. So I agreed to buy a system and signed the contract. Installation was scheduled for February 2, they showed up right on time again, installed the panels one day and hooked up the inverter to my electrical system the next day. And then, voila! Solar power started flowing! I have a 4Kw system, so far it has produced 3.0-3.5 Kw on sunny days, but this was in February when the sun is low in the sky, I have no doubt that it will produce 4Kw in the summer. The quality of the equipment is excellent, and the Solar Centex folks are great. Most of them are retired military folks. They are straight shooters, they tell you exactly what they are going to do, and when, and how much it will cost. And if a system is not right for you, they will tell you that too. A couple of my friends looked into it but Solar Centex was honest with them and said their house was not a good candidate for solar. Solar Centex is a great outfit, I give them my highest recommendation!

Simply AWESOME!

When we decided to build our new home, the best decision we made was to build and go solar. The second best decision we made was calling Solar Centex. The owner Scott, and {Name Deleted} were simply amazing throughout the entire process. We could not have been more satisfied with their professionalism and their ability to educate us on the entire solar energy process. I could not have been more pleased with the entire install crew as they did the actual install. They were never too bust to continue to educate. And I must admit, when they finished and turned on the system, it was simply awesome to see our utility meter start running in reverse. Bring on the savings!

I am ecstatic. I finally gotten my Solar Power system. I like saving wherever I can and this system gonna do just that for me. I love my new system. I could hardly wait for them to get the installation finished. It took them only a couple of days to get everything up and running. Everyone was very professional. {Name Deleted}, my personal Representative from Solar Centex, is great. He was on point, very helpful and informative, all thru the whole process. He walk me thru everything in a timely matter. {Name Deleted} did great follow-up as well. If I didn't understand something he explained until I did. If I had any questions or worries he help me thru them quickly. {Name Deleted} helped the guys with a portion of the actual installation and he "always" dressed professionally. I worried he might mess up his good clothes, lol. Even the owner came out to my house to see how my installation was going. Wow, he was not in work clothes either and got up on the roof dress shoe and all! Very impressive on both their parts. It's really good to see all these people doing such a great job and their professionalism. They even clean up all installation trash. Wow who can ask for more! I have been telling everyone about my system and Solar Centex! Thank you {Name Deleted}, and thank you Solar Centex!

Our experience with Solar Centex has been outstanding. Chris Graham has been most helpful with information and replies quickly when we have a question or concern. The entire team is professional in every way. The installation crew was efficient and there was absolutely no mess to clean up when they left! We highly recommend Solar Centex.

Wonderful Customer Interaction & Service

Scot, Chris and the rest of the team were more than willing to help me at every stage of the process - from planning what needed to be done when building the house, to determining the size, and installing and getting all the necessary approvals. Chris was always willing to answer any question, and gave answers that were not overly technical, but also gave me all the details that I needed to make decisions. I don't know if he ever sleeps based on how quick he responded to all requests!

Great Company

All the guys at Solar Centex were great. All polite and very respectful. Got our 6.25 system installed on our house in a great amount of time. Scot was great to work with. He really knows all his stuff when it comes to solar. My husband and I loved the fact that alot of their employees where prior military. We have saved on average 75-100$ a month.

A Fantastic Company

Solar CenTex installed a system on my home about 10 months ago. They were polite, professional, and accommodating to my schedule 100% of the time. They have saved me at least $100 per month since installation. Prior to choosing Solar CenTex, I researched other companies, and these guys have by far the best service on the market both locally and within a 100 mile radius. Their customer service is the best in the business and they genuinely care about their customers. Their owner even came to my house to meet me, which is a level of personable service no other business I have dealt with can beat. Their product is top quality, and their installation is immaculate (I have seen other installations locally by other companies that have exposed wires running on top of the roof, etc). It is now 10 months since installation and I still get regular calls from the same representative that has been with me from the beginning, {Name Deleted}, just to check up on things and see if there is anything they can do to help me. Overall, I couldn’t be happier being a customer of Solar CenTex.

Outstanding service from the beggining to the end and after installation. Great professionals with a vast understanding of the systems and the Oncor protocols so your installation and paperwork will be right from the get go. Instalation was done in time and with no issues at all. If you really want to take advantage of the solar energy system Solar Centex is the company to contact.

Good Company Great Savings

This is a good company. I called the owner after speaking with one of his representatives and he knew me by name. The installation only took one day which I thought was very convenient and so far the savings on my electric bill are great. My TXU bill went from 150 in August to 90 in September ( which was the month the Solar Panels were installed ) to 50 in October. So far so good!!!

Very Pleased

The whole team was very helpful, professional, and courteous from beginning to end. {Name Deleted} took great lengths to work with us, answer all our questions, and ensure we had the right paperwork for ONCOR, HOA, and other concerns. I think this is a great investment and only regret that we didn't pull the trigger sooner.

Outstanding Texas Company and Competitive Team

Prior to contacting Solar CenTex in July 2015, I had made arrangements with a different company in December 2014 to have solar panels installed on my house. This other company failed to get anything started from December 2014 to June 2015. Once I called Scot, at Solar CenTex in July 2015, we agreed on a proposal for the solar array system for my house on July 7, 2015. Since that date, panels were sized-up for the size of my roof. I scheduled an installation date for August 14, 2015. Solar CenTex were ready to begin installation on August 10, 2015, which was fantastic. Installation began the morning of August 10, 2015 and was 100% completed August 11, 2015 by 1:30 P.M. This whole entire timeframe from meeting with Scot, at my home to having the panels installed and fully operational was much more faster than I expected. Not only did the team work efficiently and safely (with zero accidents), but they kept me informed during the process whenever I had questions. Solar CenTex completed all the necessary required documentation and coordination for my local transmission and distribution service provider, including making arrangement for the required inspection by the city of Killeen. My family and I visited their shop in Harker Heights to see and experience "hands-on" the panels and hardware used to install the panels, as well as being able to see an actual Pergola in their shop. Solar CenTex is the only company I would ever recommend for Solar Array System installations. The warranty time limits on equipment is phenomenal and they provide complimentary checks after the installation. Pricing and financing was another area that I wanted to discuss, and Scot was a great help.

Excellent Company

From the moment we first expressed interest in acquiring a system, Solar CenTex was clearly the best choice for the job. We called other companies in the area and were simply not impressed. Scot answered every question we had and impressed us with his professionalism and knowledge. The entire install team were considerate and very efficient. They installed a beautiful ground mount and left my yard clean of any signs of their work. The system fired right up and we have had zero issues with it. It offsets my energy bill just as {Name Deleted} quoted us during the free site survey. I highly recommend this company!!!

Solar installed

The solar system was installed on home in less than, the crew did super job with no mess made. They were very professional and asked about something about the system you got answer. Scott came out as they turned the system on and reviewed the work that done. My first bill was $45 a big change from $160. The company has checked with me every month to ensure there no problems. You don't find this from other company's,this is excellent and friendly!
