Solar Centex

Pergola with Solar Panels

Solar Centex built and installed my 20' x 30' Pergola along with a 14kw system on my home in October 2017. Sabrina and crew did an amazing job explaining the process planning and setting everything up. I had a vision of what I wanted my back yard to look like and I couldn't be happier. So very pleased about entire set up. If you want great quality with great customer service solar centex is your company.

Clean, precise install

Outstanding attention to detail through the installation process and the work was completed on time. Excellent customer experience with Scot and team!

Outstanding service

Very professional, well organized. Sabrina is very professional and know well there products. I recommend them. Thanks you.

Outstanding in Central Texas

Solar CenTex is outstanding from start to finish! Scot (who is former military) and his team are very professional and knowledgeable. They always answer the phone and use the best technology in the market! They can do everything from roof mounts, ground mounts, solar pergolas, and dual axis trackers. The team they sent out was very friendly and I felt comfortable having them at my house all day. They are very detail oriented and pay attention to things like not exposing wires, low-profile brackets, and minimizing the amount of runs and pipes installed. I would highly recommend anyone considering them for a project in central Texas. I have already referred them to multiple friends and family.

Solar Centex

This is the second home that we’ve installed solar panels and a solar system on. Scott gave us the best price ever. Our first system was overpriced and was installed incorrectly. Scott gave us excellent information from beginning to end. The work was done professionally, not to mention complete and running in just 2 days (there was lightning on the 1st day). Scott has followed up with us numerous times after the job to make sure everything is functioning to include the the electric providers portion of the job. Scott and his company is truly the best choice for solar. We would suggest them for anyone interested in solar and the advantages it can provide.

Tapping Into the Sun's Energy Thanks to Solar CenTex!

I have been looking at getting solar panels installed for the last 10 years but couldn't convince my husband to do it until this year. I did a ton of research and was delighted to find Solar CenTex and then to discover that a friend who had a client who was very happy with his solar panels installed by Solar CenTex. It's only been a few weeks since we had the panels installed and we've had a lot of rain and cloudy days but I think we hit a milestone last week. Although it was cloudy, I was outside looking at the meters and being taught a little bit more about my solar panels by Sabrina when she showed me how my meter was going backward. Yep. Despite the overcast day, my solar panels were producing more electricity than I was using. I only wish I'd made this decision sooner!

Solar panel install

I heard about solar centex from Neighbors mike and heide, who had a system installed...their experience was so good, I looked into it...got a call from Chris graham that totally changed our view of solar and it's affordability...we had support from start to finish...great install crew, and office support...owner scott came by several times to answer our questions...very neat and professional installation of top notch equipment...love our system...thank you solar centex...roland and kathy salinas

Very Satisfied!!

The Solar Centex team did an amazing job with our Solar install. I have had the system for about three months now and am very happy with Chris Graham and the team. I wish I would have done this sooner! I really like the way I can look at the app daily to see the amount of power I'm generating. I am very satisfied with the system.

Simple Solar

Sabrina made the solar process seamless from what system to get to getting the loan to installation. The install process was super easy and they really only needed in our house for 20 minutes and that was just to get in the attic. I would recommend SolarCentex to anyone and everyone.

Amazing Job!

After reviewing different companies, I was discouraged to have Solar panels installed in my home. I started to believe that Solar Panels are priced too high and therefore not worth it in the end. After speaking to a colleague, I decided to give it one more try and called Solar Centex…and I am glad I did! Sabrina was very knowledgeable and professional and offered me a deal that I could not resist. Sabrina understood my concerns and put together a perfect sized system for my needs. Although the installation was supposed to take three weeks, my panels were installed much earlier than expected. The workers were very professional and worked with my schedule as well. I am more than happy with the outcome, and I would highly recommend Solar Centax to any of my friends! K. R.

Very Happy with this company and my system

I have had my system for over one year. Bottom line up front, I have not paid an electrical bill for over six months and currently have a $190 credit. I would not have paid the first six months if I was not under contract to a utility that charged me .10/kw and paid me 0.7/kw. Starting from the beginning Solar Centex has been a wonderful company to work with. Chris Graham came by with aerial photo's and a few options for the solar panel placement, he had designed the system to meet approximately 80-85% of my current needs. I opted for a grid tie system on the south side of my house. I had some work to do to minimize the shading caused by overgrown trees, we worked out a time frame and on the date we had agreed on the crew showed up and placed the system in 1.5 days. While this was going on Scott facilitated the paperwork with Oncor to make this truly a turn key operation. Thru Solar Centex I was able to meet Onstar requirements for a program that saved me $3500 off the cost of the installation, coupling this with a 30% federal tax credit I was able to have a 16,000$ dollar system for about 9k. At the current rate I estimate the system will pay for itself in 6-7 years, I do not skimp on AC at all, my house is nice and cool. I had looked at Solar systems before but I was overwhelmed with the paperwork that Oncor requested. Solar Centex handled all the paperwork and made this process extremely easy. Oh, by the way Solar Centex also installed a monitoring system that works thru wi-if where I can see how each panel is producing, this system also gives me the amount of Kw produced every day with history going back to system initiation. In closing, I am ecstatic about my solar system and highly recommend Solar Centex

Just Outstanding

Solar Centex went above and beyond with the installation of a custom pergola on my property. I get asked tons of questions from neighbors and as well as many compliments. I can't thank Solar Centex enough on providing their great service and knowledge on the system workings. Their team is just outstanding!

fairfield solar

DID A GREAT JOB START TO FINISH. SABRINA DID A GREAT JOB EXPLAINING AND SHOWING US OUR NEED. AND HOW IT ALL WORKS AND SHOWED US HOW YOU CAN TRACT ALL OF THIS ON COMPUTER. CONSTRUCTION WAS DONE WITH GREAT CARE AND EXPLAINING WHAT THEY WHERE DOING AND HOW EVERYTHING WORKS. CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELF. GREAT JOB ALL AROUND.

Maximum Satisfaction

The customer service is amazing! Professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Right now l am saving over 70% on my electric bill and l plan on adding more panels to be at maximum savings in the future!!!

Solar panels

I cannot even begin to say enough great things about Sabrina Arnold with Solar Centex. From the first time I spoke to her, I knew that I would have a 5-star experience with her. She is so knowledgeable about the whole process and the ‘electricity world’ She was always available at any time of the day to answer my question. She made sure that we had all the information we needed before we decided to proceed with the purchasing of our solar system. The installation crew were so professional and did an outstanding job! I seriously recommend this company if you are even thinking about solar panels. But most importantly, think of the environment and how much just one house is doing for it, can you imagine how much it would do if all houses and businesses went solar? You either pay for your electricity bill or pay for the system, once paid off. You will never have another electric bill or at the very least, a very small one. You just can’t go wrong.

Fantastic

Hubby and I are having so much fun watching our minutes and turning things in and off in the house just to see how much power it uses. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Sabrina Arnold was wonderful to work with. Closing in on a year past install, and I'm still asking questions with great customer service in return.

Amazing Installer

Solar Centex was amazing to work with, both before and after the sale. The entire process was easier than buying a car. My only regret is that we didn't do this sooner. Scot installed a 12.8 kW ground mount system that has completely offset our electrical usage, plus some. It has been almost a year since the installation, and we have a net sale of 4 MWh to the grid. Make sure you add on the eGauge. It is very interesting to watch your solar output and energy consumption patterns. Also helped us diagnose a problem with our heat pump. Thanks Scot.

Solar Savings

I have a friend who had solar installed 2 years ago, I was skeptical about having solar. I wish I would have done this two years ago, my normal electric bill is average $375. a month, the first month with solar and a lot of cloudy days my electric bill 37.75 AWESOME, thank you so much Scot and crew at Solar Centex! If anyone is out their looking for solar call them Scot is friendly, honest and explains the system. No I don't get anything for writing this, I wanted too.

The Sun is Paying for my Electric Bills!!!!

I would definitely recommend Solar Centex to anyone! They Installed a 33'x17' Solar pergola in our backyard that now produces us 100% of our electricity needs! We currently have a $45 credit from our Electric Company! Woo! They are paying us now instead of US paying THEM! I love the fact that I get to produce all my energy, extend my patio and add value to my home all in one! and OH! I don't have to pay property taxes on the value of my solar system! Oh! and i got a 30% tax credit off the total cost! It CANT get any better than that! Solar Centex is a local company and they took care of us like we were family :)

Solar Centex

Scot and his crew have been a great help to us. Our original solar installation ( by another installer) was seriously flawed and had dangerous safety problems. Scot remedied all those problems and helped us upgrade our system to do what we originally wanted it to do. Part of that was helping us to understand the ins and outs of solar and what was needed. He and his company have been responsive and competent, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to go solar. They are not just a fly-by-night installer, they stand by their customers and make sure the systems keep working year after year. Five stars from us!

My investment with Solar Centex makes financial sense

We kicked around the idea of adding solar to our property for several years, and once I found Solar Centex I finally was able to make an informed decision. Scott and his team are FANTASTIC to work with and walked us through every step. My electric bill used to average around $800 per month. Now it ranges anywhere from $-100 to $+200 depending on the conditions. Looks like my system will pay for itself in about 6 or 7 years. We purchased trackers and they are great.

A Dream Come True.

I have to say that I have always wanted to have solar panels. They have been a goal of mine for about 10 years and now that goal has been met. I googled where I could get solar panels from and the company was the first to show up for my region. I made an appointment through email and had one of their representatives come chat with me about the process. Sabrina Arnold showed up on time and was super professional. She went through the bills that I had paid for the last year and calibrated how many panels that I would need, the total cost, and what it would take for me to be 100% efficient. After discussing it with my wife, we decided to go through with it. Sabrina was a professional throughout the process and even handled all the permits (even the permission of the HOA). The only thing that hit a block through the process was the approval of the HOA. She impressed me with how she handled the HOA and was knowledgeable about Texas property law. We couldn't have done this without her. After the approval, everything else went smooth and fast. We signed the documents, had the installation, and the inspection all within the two weeks after the approval. Solar Centex has my recommendation and I will recommend them to any person who is looking for solar in the Central Texas Area. The Panels were installed on my roof so symmetrical that they aesthetically make the house look better. Do yourself a favor and email them for a quote. You wont be disappointed.

Grape Creek Installation

Installed in one day, and was working when they left. Waited a few days for AEP to confirm that it was working to turn it on. I like the app that shows the details of watts generated too. Can see the physical and logical layout of the equipment. Chris was easy to work with and had no problems.

Home Solar Installed

I have had an excellent experience from start to finish with the installation of my solar system, Chris Graham has answer every issue I have had from the paperwork to the completion of the installation. installation of the system only took 2 days and I was up and running. Very pleased with the whole experience from Solar Centex. thank again Chris for everything

#BEST SOLAR in the CTX!

We highly recommend Solar Centex for your renewable energy service. Other vendors in the area were considered but didn’t come close. Sabrina Arnold was very knowledgeable on the products and services of the company, as well as the remote “egauge” monitoring system. The team came out and had 22 panels on my roof and built a 9 panel pergola in less than 2 weeks (even with me asking questions every 5mins). A year later; I’m still receiving great customer service, have NOT had any issues with my system and grateful of the noticeable bill credits from the electric company! Also looking forward to my 30% tax credit this year.
