When we first decided that we needed to go solar we had a lot of options. From start to finish Shine Solar has been the best company for us. We were first contacted with a proposal on what Shine could do for us and how much it would cost. We had talked to Shine first so we didn't have any idea of what other companies could offer. We talked to other companies and they were way more expensive and their reps weren't as professional or personable as the rep from Shine Solar. After we were committed to Shine they walked us through all of the process from financing to commissioning. They never has us feeling that we were abandoned or left out of the loop. I'll be honest with you. Getting panels installed and up and running probably won't happen overnight. They have to schedule your installation, permitting, inspections, commissioning, etc. It takes time, but Shine stays with you through it all. We were told we were the first installation in Tennessee. They folks that did our installation came in from Arkansas. That's how serious Shine Solar is about their product and serving their customer. They didn't contract the work out to some locals. We are starting to see results on the sunny days and are looking forward to summer when the days are longer. Check out the rest of the competition. If you find something you think is better than Shine Solar then you go for it and good luck to you. I have no regrets about going with Shine Solar.

Quick and easy

I was wondering about solar for a while, with a pretty large sized house and 2-300 dollar a month electric bills I figured why not give it a try. There was quite a bit of them talking me into it when I was already sold, but I ended up getting a system financed through loan pal which is also pretty awesome with its rates[comparable to a va loan]. They came out a few days later installed everything and just got it all attached. Not really any fuss except for the power company but all is well.

Professional and Speedy

I did some research among other companies in the area before I chose Shine Solar. Based on my comparisons they had the best buy package. Their team took care of all the paperwork and were fast at doing so, they did good follow-ups and also found me a good loan. One thing I do recommend is for anyone when considering solar panels, do your homework and make sure you calculate your cash payments monthly correctly. I basically am swapping my utilities bill with the loan payments, but did not consider the extra home insurance cost since my house is very old and my insurance is sort of unique.

Outstanding Service

My name is Chris and I've had Solar panels on my house for a month or so now. Shine Solar was very quick and knowledgeable with their service. They had a few video call meetings with me to explain how the system works and answered any questions that I had. After my panels were installed they came over and gave me LED light bulbs, inspected my AC and heater as well as adding insulation in my attic at no cost to me. I recently just got my first electric bill of $17.11! I'm the third person in my family to have Shine Solar panels and we have nothing but great things to say. Highly recommend!

Excellent Company, very transparent process, quality workmanship

I made the decision to use Shine Solar because they didn't try to oversell their product. They explained that other companies would try to put on more panels but they would not have been productive because of the way my house is situated in relation to the sun. I was impressed with that kind of honesty and I haven't been disappointed once during the entire process. Amazing Customer Service and Installation

Shine Solar has been amazing to work with. They answered all our questions and made it easy to understand. They sized the solar system for our needs. They also replaced out aging HVAC system and made sure that we had 20” of insulation in the attic. The installation was faster than expected and they even reimbursed us for removing a huge tree. Customer Service has been great too in helping me set up apps for tracking the installation and for tracking the production of the solar panels. Overall, I highly recommend Shine Solar.

Friendly People

Overall I had a great experience, but sometimes I felt like I was the one pushing the project through to completion. The people installing everything could work without me being present, which was nice for me, but I wish the process could have gone faster without me having to push it through myself.

Good so far

Setup staff was very helpful. install took longer than expected but everything looks great and is humming along so far. waiting on our first electric bill to see about the performance.

Great Job

Install was fast and easy. The technicians were nice and fast. Kept the area clean. Shine Solar was quick in answering all our questions. We noticed an immediate improvement with the energy upgrades that Shine Solar did. So excited to see what our energy savings will be. Also looking forward to life long energy production!

Great all around and included some extras

This is the second home I've had panels installed on. The process was great and better than my first experience. Shine Solar was great to keep me in the loop, especially through Aaron who I felt always had a pulse on the project and made himself available throughout all the process. I appreciated his updates on how things were progressing without me ever reaching out. The staff is great and I love the package deal with the HVAC check and extra insulation installed to make sure our home is energy efficient.

It’s been a great experience working with shine solar, took about a total of 51 days from the first phone call to getting the last part of our package deal installed which was attic insulation. Everyone that I’ve been in contact with at shine solar have been very friendly and have updated us during the whole process. Cant wait to see the savings
