Glad I finally did it

I have thought of installing solar for years. I had concerns around the appearance since the panels were ideally located for correct exposure on my road facing garage roof. I also wondered if the price would come down some more and didn't want to be one of the trial cases or early adopters and miss out on the price drops and new and improved panels to come. All that said the black panels are hardly ever noticed by newcomers to our house. Even our kids who had seen my nerdy step by step Facebook pictures forgot all about them and didn't notice them when they parked right underneath them. And the minute I switched them on my bill went to $2 the first 2 weeks and $25 the next month from $200 the year before. We have been making around a megawatt of electricity a month since first turned on in April. I look forward to seeing my bills now knowing I am being environmentally friendly and saving money. Two things that I am fond of. The installers couldn't have been more careful of my property or respectful of my time. The install looks great and almost overbuilt in terms of code and safety. I have absolutely no regrets and nothing but praise for Revision. Wish I had done it sooner. My home wifi router went down a couple of months after install and a revision engineer talked me through the software reboot and fixed the issue so I could go back to checking my power production on my iPhone. I know I am an nerd but...Because I couldn't do this during business hours he did this after hours while he was on the road leaving for vacation. Great service.

A Good Decision

I have been very happy with my solar hot water system. No longer do I have to have my furnace going all summer long to get hot water. I have saved a ton of money on my oil bill. Because of.a very harsh winter, I did not get as much sun as otherwise, and my electric bill went up as a result, but the net saving was considerable. Revision was a wonderful company to deal with.

Good investment for the future.

I have given 4 stars instead of 5 because we have had our system only for a short period so I cannot answer, yet, for its longevity and whatnot. We purchased our solar hot H2O system along with a new wood pellet furnace to replace our ageing oil burner/forced hot water system. From beginning to present time ReVision has been simple to work with. We are very satisfied with the entire process. I can say that during the late spring months and through the past few summer months our hot H2O solar system has worked fine and has been the main source of our hot water. Our furnace is hardly ever running meaning that the sun is heating our water (which is the whole point, isn't it?). So far, well worth the money.

The system provides plenty of hot water. Our CMP bill for electricity this summer is now $10 to $13 each month.

We could not be happier with our solar panels. It is amazing to watch them work. They were installed in October 2014 and nine months later we are putting power in the bank for the coming winter months. ReVision's installers worked quickly and were very helpful. let the sun shine

We had just had our roof replaced so this was the perfect time to do a solar installation. We chose Revision because of their reputation, their ability to do the whole package - solar panels, heat pumps and electric hot water heater installation.The installation went very smoothly! We had had our electrician come to the house a few weeks prior to take care of a few issues and assure us that we were set up to accept a solar installation. I was very impressed with the efficiency, team work and professionalism of the team that did the work! It took two days and voila!

Despite an extremely busy schedule of ensuring residential customers were taken care of prior to the winter heating and electric season, ReVision Energy was able to install an electric vehicle charging station on my house which was easy and convenient to use. The job was particularly difficult because of the urban location of the house, but after almost 2 years, I've had no problems with the unit.

Our experience was really excellent in all aspects of the process. The design phase of the project took more than two years, as we worked out what was possible and practical for us. Our design consultant, John Luft, was always prompt to respond, even after prolonged periods of silence. He provided excellent information and guidance, adapting the design repeatedly to our changing perceptions of our needs. He even visited the house twice during the process to get things right. I should add that the house is on an island, so there was a ferry to weave into his schedule. By the time we actually decided what we were going to do, we had had numerous options to consider and knew quite well what was best for us. The installation team was excellent. They came on time, did the work carefully and expeditiously, and were more than courteous. I enjoyed their company, while trying not to get in their way or slow their progress. The quality of the work was excellent. The installation is solid and neat. They went out of their way to make it so in tight quarters where access was a challenge. They took the time and care to bring a new plywood backing support the second day when the original piece proved not to serve perfectly. They could have made the original piece "do", but there was no question of taking such a short cut. They made this choice completely independently. I made no effort to sway their decision. At the end of the installation, they cleaned up completely. We could not have asked for a better experience. The system has been working as projected since its installation, and we are very happy with its performance. We were guided well through the contract process. As indicated above, we were very clear on our options and the costs associated with each. The only "unknowns" at this point are those associated with the discount and rebate aspects of the contract. These remain unknowns simply because we have not fully experienced them yet and do not know exactly how they will unfold. We will have a clearer sense of that once we have prepared our income taxes for the year. To summarize, Revision Energy's role in the project was top notch in every regard. We recommend them enthusiastically and without reservation.

Kim, Bryon, Chuck and the installation gang were all great from answering all my questions related rebates, costs, siting to walking me through the system once it was complete. They were great and I highly recommend them. They not only have been there from start to finish, but are always available to answer any and all questions.
