There can be no doubt that Revision energy has provided an exceptional product for our newly constructed home. From the initial sales contact through design, site implementation, commissioning, and follow-up, the experience has been fabulous. Being a Builder by trade, I seek a high level of professionalism in vendors. ReVision has a unique business model that brings highly motivated and determined individuals to the field. This particular project is a home for my wife and I. On site crews were knowledgeable and customer friendly. Customer service is both proactive and reactive at all levels and in all departments. We had a small aesthetic issue with the roof layout. Before I could point it out, a site foreman noted same and relayed this to both myself and the scheduling department for attention. Despite nasty winter weather the crew returned and repelled into place for a daylong re-alignment at no charge to us. This echelon of service is rare these days. I hold hope that other companies will seek the level of commitment noted in the entire ReVision Team. We are on the docket for a Heat Pump Installation with Revision also and look forward to many years of green living and low energy costs!

We have been pleased in every way with ReVision Energy’s assessment, proposal, installation, and support for our new solar panel array. The staff has been knowledgeable, accessible, and helpful. We recommend them completely. And it’s a thrill to see our panels in action through online monitoring, and watch our electric bills go way down. We’re grateful to be doing something significant and affordable to diminish our use of fossil fuels and do our best to mitigate climate change.

Could not be happier

I read the other review posted for Revision and though I may have written it myself as the other customer and I share the same experience. In my case, the installers had to put up with snow and cold, but had me up and running within two weeks, most of which was waiting for Eversource to come install the new meter and qualify the installation. The revision team were absolute professionals from the sales lead who evaluated our house, to the installers and office personnel who walked us through the whole process, not only installation but the plethora of paperwork needed to get the rebates and incentives. The unit has been up for 14 months and we managed to have a surplus still left coming through the long, cold, dark winter. While we still had a monthly service cost to be connected to the grid, and which I personally feel is more than fair, we sold enough energy credits to off-set some of this. I estimate that excluding the system cost, our out of pocket cost for the year for electricity was less than $60, which is great given we use between 15 and 18 KWH daily! I am expecting the payback to be now less than 80 months which I'm happyu with.

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!

We recently celebrated our 1st anniversary with our roof top system. It consists of 32 panels mounted on top of our garage. The personnel at ReVision Energy were terrific; whether it was the sales people who I spoke with, or the man who came out to do a site visit or the crew who installed the system. The installation team worked for about a week in terrible cold, rainy weather and were fantastic. During this past year, there was one minor issue with getting the information from my computer which tells me how much electricity we generate on a daily basis. I called the office and technicians were dispatched and problem fixed; NO CHARGE! The best aspect of this system is the very low monthly electric bill from CMP, usually the standard delivery charge of $10.68. We were able to "bank" a considerable amount of electricity over the summer months to help carry us through most of the winter months. We would highly recommend solar to everyone and would especially recommend Revision Energy as a dealer. And, by the way, it didn't hurt one bit at tax time to take advantage of the 30% tax incentive from Uncle Sam.

Best Solar Company in Maine

There is no better solar installer in Maine. While they may be priced a bit higher than competitors, their work is first class. They're also loyal and do not abandon you when your neighbors are difficult. They just do their jobs and carry on. Few companies nowadays have that kind of service ethic.

My wife and I first went solar in 2016 with another local company and we couldn't be happier with the technology. I got so excited about solar and other clean technologies that I signed on to join ReVision Energy, where I've been working for over a year. I was inspired by ReVision's commitment to actually making the 100% solar-powered lifestyle possible here in northern New England. We've since had ReVision install two heat pumps and a heat pump water heater, which have been working seamlessly (instead of our gas furnace) since January, and we are under contract for a second ~5 kW solar array to power the heat pumps and my electric car. I know I'm biased but I can honestly say that the good you hear or see from ReVision out there is simply a reflection of what happens behind the scenes. Solar Installation, Eliot, Maine

(26) Q CELLS 280w Solar Electric Modules, (6000) watt SolarEdge grid-tied solar electric inverter with Arc-Fault Protection and individual panel level optimizers. I worked with co-worker reviewing bids and researching solar installation at his house. ReVision Energy had the most experience, knowledge and best price of the several company's that were reviewed. Co-worker had his system installed about 9 months before me, everything went well. It was easy for me to select ReVision Energy as a result of involvement with co-worker's installation. My system has been running well since installation in May of 2017. Output has exceeded expectations and there has been no post installations problems or surprises.

Great service, great system for a small home

I turned to ReVision because I knew some of their employees and their reputation for great service. I'm glad I did. Our project changed dramatically after the original visit from a ReVision tech person, but he stayed patient and helpful throughout various redesigns, eventually helping us install a small PV system and air source heat pumps to power a small home. I was present for the installations and totally impressed by the installers' care and knowledge. The system has worked beautifully.

All work was completed on time and thoughtfully and carefully done. The men who came to install our units were prepared and equipped to handle any problems they might encounter. They brought everything they needed and in two short days we were ready to use our heat pumps. Which seem to be excellent by the way.

Excellent service

Kim and her team installed a 10 kWh system on our roof. They were very responsive to our questions and made the whole experience very easy. They even dealt with the town to get all the required permits. Once the system was installed, Kim helped me understand what effects the weather and temperature have on the solar production. At one time she even came and inspected the system based on my request. I can highly recommend the Energy Emporium, and I will use them going forward for any of my renewable energy needs.

Home Solar Installation

We were impressed by the thoroughness of preparations, skillful installation and decrease in our electric bill! Our south facing barn roof now provides electricity to our home and two apartments.

Delivering as promised

I have used Kim Quirk and her team at Energy Emporium to install 2 solar systems. The first in 2010 was a grid-tied 4.9Kw system with 3 arrays on 3 poles, manually adjustable. The second installed in 2013 was an additional 4.8Kw ground-based array also manually adjustable. Kim was very helpful in guiding me through the process of deciding what to install, and then managed the entire process from ordering parts, arranging all subcontractors, connecting with the electric company, and completing the work and ensuring everything worked. With both systems we had problems with inverter hardware initially. Kim resolved all issues and continues to this day to track performance and answer questions. Kim and Energy Emporium are a first-class solar PV sales and service company.
