Energized by the Sun and couldn’t be happier!

Renu Energy Solutions completed our solar panel installation this week. The experience has be great from the start. No matter what phase of the project, the Renu team took the time to answer all of our questions. The initial consultation was with Bill Winker. Not only did Bill answer all of our questions, but he stepped us through all of our options for choosing the right panels for us. Bill did a great job of educating us about going solar. On installation day, Matt lead the installation team and changed the panel layout on the fly to fit our roof. He and the team never missed a beat even with the curveball. Jordan Thomas, last team member onsite, dealt with a minor configuration issue keeping all the panels from showing on the monitoring app. He troubleshot the issue and resolved it quickly. We were well informed each step of the way by Calli Hudgins our project coordinator. Calli stayed on top of everything and kept us updated every step of the journey. I would highly recommend Renu Energy Solutions if you are considering going solar. Great people and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Renu energy solutions was great working with for our solar installation. Communication was consistent and regular with updates and appropriate information at every step of the process. They solar panels they offered were top of the line. Installation was very professional with a crew of knowledgeable and efficient workers.

Choosing the right company for me

I chose to investigate solar because my wife and I are considering a full-time retirement in the foreseeable future. We wanted to research all expenses we are currently incurring, and research how to eliminate or drastically reduce them. We had several solar companies come in and tell me why they had the best program/product for my money. I narrowed my prospect list down to two companies. Both offering different manufacturers, but equivalent quality. Pricing from both of these companies were very close and competitive. The final decision for choosing Renu besides the knowledge Bill brought to the table, was the offering of a solar system that produces 25kw per hour vs the competition offering a max of 20kw per hour. So even on overcast days, I am still pulling 5,000kw per hour more when the energy product starts to slow down. Now that the crew has completed my installation, I can promote Renu as a 5star***** company from presentation, communication, and application. I am sure I will follow up this review with a 5 star review with performance as soon as the inspections are complete and I can power it up. Ken Kirk

Friendly Professionalism Every Step of the Way

The decision to go solar is not an easy one. It is a large investment, and the project involves equipment and technology with which few of us are familiar. What attracted my wife and me to Renu is the fact that they seem fully aware of just how daunting the decision to go solar can be for the average family. At every stage of the process, they supply copious, detailed information in a manner that is accessible and easily understood. During the initial quoting process, I asked for a month-by-month breakdown of how much power their proposed installation would supply, which made it easier for me to compute the financial benefits that the solar system would provide. Justin, our Energy Storage Specialist, quickly provided me with the information I requested and patiently answered some follow-up questions that I had. Once we decided to go with the proposal, Calli, our Solar Project Coordinator, stayed in touch with us every step of the way, providing information about next steps along with projected time frames. The installation crew that installed our system was friendly, professional and efficient. It gladdened my heart to see how excited they were about the array that they were installing. They clearly take tremendous pride in their work. We are now awaiting county inspection and the meter swap by our utility. While our solar system is not yet fully activated, I am absolutely confident that Renu will be there for us throughout the remaining steps and beyond.

Everyone I communicated with, from the sales, financing, design and install were flawless. Installers were all efficient and friendly; willing to answer any questions i had with a smile. (and that's hard when the high for the day was 90). I wish there were a 6 star rating because that is what I would have chosen.

Blown away

I honestly couldn't believe how quickly this installation was done and with such little effort on my part. Every team member was courteous, professional, and just a delight to work with. I wish that I could post pictures, because the installation is a work of art. The install team obviously takes pride in their work.

Great Solar Company!

John and Calli were a delight to work with on the sales/operations side, and the install crews headed by Will, Al, and Carlos did an outstanding job. They were courteous, answered all my questions, and were incredibly efficient getting our whole array installed in a single day. Amazing job!

Renu Energy is an outstanding company

I've had a great experience with Renu Energy. I had a substantial solar system (with full house battery back-up) installed and the team at Renu is exceptional. I found them to be very easy to work with, professional and the installation team was amazing. As an added bonus, they are based where I live, so they were able to make numerous site visits when designing my system.

Painless from start to finish

They said it was a turnkey solution, and true to their words they handled every step of the process for me. I just paid the bill. If they could find a way to cover that for me, too, I'd add a sixth star! XD

Excellent!!!!

My experience with Renu was great. All aspects of the company were top notch. I was referred by a friend and Jeremy did a great job explaining the products. It wasn’t sales call at all. After that point the financial part was super easy and then the rest of the team started to chime in on all of the next steps. Holly, Calli, and Thomas were in contact constantly with updates with approvals of financing, HOA and inspections. Wes, the electrician, and Matt, install lead, were great. The whole team upon arrival, introduced themselves, wore masks and were very respectful to my visiting family. There were easy to talk with and answered all of the questions I had on the spot. They cleaned up the yard off all trash that was created. And then explained all of the next steps I should expect. Wes went through all of the electrical connections and what next steps I should expect from my Co-op. I would definitely recommend Renu Energy Solutions to any and everyone looking to updated their home.

Renu was AWESOME!

I was very impressed!!!!!! Renu Energy is a company that I would recommend to anyone. I called Duke Energy and they referred me to two companies. My husband and I contacted both companies and Jeremy from Renu Energy was the first person that called us back. Jeremy was very accommodating, patient, and professional. He gave my husband and I a very detailed presentation. He took his time to explain how solar panels work as I did not understand the functionality of them, I just saw homes around us with them. After the presentation and answering our questions, he told us he can look at our energy bill to see if the panels would benefit us. I loved the fact that he was not just trying to sell us something to get a sale, but he wanted to make sure it would be beneficial. Jeremy was able to design the system that would save us money, receive money not only on our taxes but also through Duke Energy rebate. Whereas other companies would not submit paperwork for us to get the rebate from Duke Energy, Renu will do this on our behalf. He made the process easy and seamless and with no upfront out of pocket cost to do the install, it was a no brainer for us to proceed with the purchase. Renu employees are wonderful with great customer service skills. Callie and Hollie kept us abreast every step of the way on the installation process. Elijah the supervising installer, Dillon the electrician and several other awesome workers came and installed the panels and completed the electrical work in one day. They were very professional and neat with their work. They checked in with us when they completed their section. They made sure we knew how the equipment worked and to see if we had any additional questions. Everyone was and is SIMPLY AWESOME! My son and his wife heard a presentation from another company and after listening to the Renu’s presentation, they compared the two and undoubtable, Renu came on top. They are now in the process of getting their panels installed by Renu Energy. If you want a reputable company that won’t rip you off, that will be honest and upfront and who will give you the best product for your hard earned money not to mention the best customer service - Renu Energy is the company you need to call. They are the real deal for sure. You will not be sorry or disappointed.

These guys are super-human!

The pricing was super-competitive, they secured me great financing, installed quickly, helped me get every penny of every rebate possible, and THEN detected an issue with my system two years later without me knowing and scheduled the inverter replacement FREE OF CHARGE. If only my dentist could be this honest and customer service oriented!! 10 out of 10 would recommend

From start to finish I have enjoyed working with Renu. They’re not pushy sales people and will work with even the most difficult people (me). They have been professional and I enjoy that I have met many veterans that they employ. They have lived up to every review I read prior to choosing them for my project and would recommend them to anyone at this point. Keep up the good work!
