I first contacted Renu back in 2016 for a quote. I had found them through Google search and hadn't really done much research but knew I had no one who had credentials in my area. When Joe, my sales person, showed up, he reviewed my property, my options and presented pricing. I felt comfortable enough to give the deposit on that visit and scheduled installation. The installation took about 2 days due to the size of my system. Once finished, everything came online immediately and with no problems. One of the best parts about Renu is they took care of all the work with the local building inspections department as well as getting all the proper documents filed with my local Utility. In all, they did a great, clean job and I plan to engage them again for additional work down the road.

Joe and his team were great. Would use them again. I install was slow only because of issues with Union County. Renu had to teach the UC inspector about solar panel safety and installation.

We had a Sunpower 7.848 system installed in late 2015. We have been happy with the RenuEnergy Solutions service and have recommended them to several friends who have worked with them to install solar. We are now working with the company to install a plug to access power if the grid goes down.

nice new solar system!

The Renu Energy Solutions team did a fabulous job from soup to nuts, beginning to end, on building our new solar system for our farm, barn and house including coordinating a trench subcontractor to run power from the panels on the barn roof up the hill to the house. Their teamwork was well coordinated, friendly and knowledgeable. Very happy with the outcome. Now, I check my smartphone to see how much power we generate daily even though I don't need to as I know they are monitoring it. Feels nice to have cut our electric bill to pennies on the dollar, eliminated one of our two meters and know that we're not burning fossil fuels or creating any additional pollution. Free energy production is awesome!

True Professionals

I did a lot of research before purchasing my system and spoke to nearly a dozen different installers. I wanted to take my time and make an informed decision. Of all the companies I spoke to, no one was even close to, Renu's communication, support, and professionalism. Starting with the first phone call, the sales rep (Whitney) was patient, knowledgable, transparent, respectful, and articulate. Nothing like the pushy sales tactics I saw from other companies. During the initial site visit, the engineer (Joe) came prepared with polished presentations on multiple size and configuration options. He explained the technical differences between the panel types, impacts on reliability, production and warranty scenarios. Just like everyone else at Renu, Joe was a first class pro. The price negotiations that followed were amicable, and Renu even found ways to save me money using creative financing options. Again, nothing but professionalism. Once we kicked off the project, I had a dedicated project manager (Hannah) and a direct line to her via text any time of day. She walked me through the process that included a site survey, layout planning, installation, inspection, new meter installation and activation by the power company. Most communication and scheduling was done by text or phone, and she was always 100% responsive. It really felt like a concierge service. All in all, I would HIGHLY recommend Renu to anyone considering rooftop solar. Compared to some of the other companies I spoke with, they're in a league of their own.

Absolutely "Renue-d" Our Faith in Solar...

Renue came to our rescue. We had another (bad) company out of Georgia who totally messed up our first solar installation. Renue came out, showed us what was wrong, removed the poorly installed one, installed a better system for a better price! And that is only scratching the surface. We had tried for almost a year with the other company to right their mistakes. Renue helped us get our money back by pointing out the issues, worked with the inspectors from beginning to end, and we ended up with 30-panels happily making us energy every day :) Renue rocks! Only two days from start to finish. Your mileage may vary, but I give them five stars!

Home Investment with RETURN

ReNu installed November 2016 and energized December 1, 2026 my new SunPower 8.175 kW Equinox System. So far it has produced 100% of my usage. They handled everything very professionally from start to finish, including HOA questions and initial objections.....WITHOUT ANY PRESSURE!!!!

Beautiful System and Net Zero bills

Renu coordinated the installation with a roof replacement. The service was fantastic and the system is performing great. In the spring, the only thing I pay Duke is the monthly charge of ~$13. In the summer, with the air conditioning going all day, the bills are still under $40 ... used to be $250-$300.
