Renova Energy

Renova Solar @ our home in Indian Wells, CA

We purchased a contemporary style home in Indian Wells which came with a fully installed/operational Renova Solar PV system. We got tremendous service from Ken Waski of Renova who guided us through the entire technical and business foundations of the system. David Hering from Renova set up our wireless monitoring. Both are outstanding. Today, I met with Nate Lewis who is Chief Sales on some further projects. Renova is an example Solar technology company for all to admire in the US.

A great experience!

After talking with several companies, we chose Renova. Very professional & the install went perfectly. They were never pushy & performed exceptionally well at every turn.. Thank you to Ruben & Renova’s entire crew!

Another satisfied Renova Energy customer!

We chose Renova Energy because of their expertise and reputation. The investment in solar panels for our desert home was a no brainer. Matt McPherson, the engineering team and installers did an excellent job. They were able to get our system installed before the 2019 deadline, for the full 30% tax credit.

Wonderful experience from presentation to installation & beyond

After researching companies and then talking to other homeowners in our community, we chose Renova. Every single person has been professional. Our installers kept our property clean during the installation process and kept us informed along the way. Renova handled all the permitting, everything that was needed and we were very impressed.

Top notch company

I've known of Renova for many years but it took me a while to make the leap into solar. Glad I did! I'm replacing 100% of my power from the grid with power from my panels, and saving money while doing it. Renova from the top down is a class act, and the fact that employees are also owners shows that this company cares about it's employees, customers, and the community as whole.

New solar installation by Renova Energy

I chose Renova after talking with several other companies. Renova seemed to have its act together. In fact, they took care of the entire process, including contacting my HOA and the utility company. Matt McPherson and his staff were very professional. So far I'm very satisfied with the experience.

Professional and Curious

All of the installers were curious and professional in doing their work assignments and even answered all of my questions while they were working. They consulted me when they needed to make changes to the house and patched up all their work. They also arrived on time and cleaned up after the solar panels were installed and operating. Kudos to the team that worked on my installation.

Excellent Service and Follow-up

Mark, Corey, Julia and the entire Renova team were a pleasure to work with. From the start, they gave us accurate estimates of layout, timing, production, and costs and followed through with the project seamlessly. We love our solar panels, their work was flawless, and we are very happy with the production of our panels. Mark has proactively called us a couple times after our installation to check-in and make sure all our questions were answered and we were happy with our investment. We couldn’t be happier and have recommended Renova to many of our friends. Thank you!

Mt Solar Experience

I was very skeptical of solar panels. I had heard from friends that the cost vs. benefits never really paid out. My friend Stan suggested that I contact Renova and see for myself what they could do. I want to be very honest here. Renova is a first class operation. Their estimate of saving, the number of panels I would need, my costs, installation processes etc. were exactly on the money. It is not a sales pitch, it is a scientific analysis of energy costs based on many factors. I saved more than $3,000 this past year ! From my initial consultation, throughout the installation, to the follow up, and money back in pocket, I want to say thank you to Renova. You can publish my private e mail anytime and I would be happy to tell my story anytime !

Great experience but...

The crew who came to my home was incredible. I was a nervous wreck and asked 10,000 questions. They answered every one...they were always polite with a smile on their faces. Matt, who set up our install, was brilliant. He explained everything was friendly and a wealth of knowledge. The only problem I had was with the office staff. After telling them at least four times that they could not start at 7...because of HOA rules...and being told they would take care of it. The crew showed up at 7 a.m. It was very frustrating because I made a point several times telling several people and yet th message was not passed on. Also, the day they turned off my electricity I had a business thing I needed to do from the house. No one called and asked if that day would be good for me. When I called and told them they could not turn the electricity off on that day... I was told, "Well we just can't change the date like that. It's been arranged for weeks." And that's when I lost it. The office staff needs more training the field crews are perfection.

RENOVA ENERGY IS #1!!!

From Day One, Matthew McPherson was there for us. He patiently explained the benefits of solar and all that the process entailed. Whenever I had questions, Matthew was there with an answer be it by email or by phone. The process through Renova was seamless. I was informed every step of the way as to what would be happening and when it would happen. The young men on the installation crew were always very neat, clean and professional. They also took the time to explain to me what they would be doing onsite at my house. Renova stayed within their set timeframes and I was never inconvenienced. I am now "online" with Renova and SCE. My wife and I are looking forward to future savings from our SunPower system. If you are looking into solar, don't hesitate to call Renova and ask for Matt McPherson. He's honest and reliable. Excellent product and service

Our salesperson Daryl was very knowledgeable and not high pressure. He helped plan the right sized system.

Much easier than I expected

Compared a few solar companies over the years. Renova gave the best presentation explaining all the ins and outs in great detail.

So impressed with Renova!

Delighted we chose Renova for our solar installation! Big shout out to Ruben who guided us expertly through the whole process. Very clear communications and follow up and the installation went very smoothly. Just had our post-installation with Ruben who went over everything we need to know moving forward and gave us a cute goody bag!

Expert advice; friendly service; patience customer care

Matt McPherson is about the best, and most patient, sales person I've ever met (and I've been in PR / marketing for 35 years). Not only did he proactively provide all the info we needed to make an informed choice about our solar, but he patiently answered all our questions - even when I had an anxiety attack one day during installation. The crews onsite were all top-notch: efficient, courtesy and careful with our paint job and ceilings! My husband, Alfredo, and I heartily recommend Renova. Also, on another note, as someone who works with a number of charities and nonprofits, I see Renova around town - a lot - giving to good causes and giving back to the community -- David Perry

Simple process with detailed execution.

Completely satisfied with the process from start to finish. Renova and Quentin delivered as promised.

Matt was great from start to finish

Renova came highly recommended and did not disappoint

Fantastic!

I had gone through a few different solar companies and almost went with a competitor, But Reuben came out, sat with me and explained everything in detail, taught me how to read the energy bills and what all the kilowatts usages craziness meant, also saved me thousands of dollars in unneeded roof repairs the other company told me I needed, I ended up with a better system for less money, plus they are "Johnny on the spot" when it comes to taking care of things, I would and will use Reuben again , Thank you everyone that made this project so easy

Excellent job from beginning to end

The salesman was terrific. He helped me from beginning to end, explained things easily. The crew was efficient, professional and are real pros.

Renova Energy is awesome.

Ruben Gamez our representative went above and beyond during the venture process leading up to the installation. Ruben answered all our questions in a timely manner and constantly communicated with us. The final touch was the gift basket Ruben personally delivered to our residence.

Professional, quality installation

I chose them based on their reputation and experience from friends.

Excellent Installation and Follow Up - Batteries and Panels

We were thrilled with Renova. They installed solar panels in August and two Tesla batteries last month. Excellent service and follow up. Edwin Flores was great following up on the project and Jeff Flores was very helpful and patient with other issues. Sales staff was helpful and explained the process and were honest, straight forward with no surprises. We would not hesitate to recommend Renova and their out standing staff. Very pleased.

SAVING $ AND PROTECTING THE PLANET- A WIN WIN

We want to Thank Matt and his Renova Team Kelvin (installation leader) for a job more than well done! Their communication skills from the office to hands on in person was impeccable! We knew about each and every step of the way! If we had a question we were answered immediately They did all the paperwork pulling all the proper permits and HOA requirements . We can not wait to see our next SCE bill! Thank you Again Matt and crew you guys are awesome! John and Shirley Schrup
