PES Solar

Don't Hire PES Unless you want a mess and to lose money

If you want to go Solar stay away from PES SOLAR and PRS Roofing! We hired PES Solar to install solar panels and a back-up generator. We told our sales rep that prior to the installation we wanted our metal roof cleaned, coated and sealed. He said the owners of PES also own PRS, a roofing company and they could handle the entire project from start to finish. Long story short, PRS completely messed up the job they did on the roof and made a bigger mess in the process. The sealant looks uneven and VERY MESSY, they spilled a couple gallons in my gutters and got roof sealer on my freshly painted wall. The Solar panels were placed incorrectly on top of the messy sealant. It took a while to finally get the solar panels to pass county inspection. I wrote a few bad reviews and was made a promise by the owner that they would add 4 more panels to square everything off and help cover some of the crap job of the sealant if I removed the reviews. I took down the reviews about PES as a show of "good faith" Here I am 6+ weeks later and still in the same situation on a project that isn't complete. They told the financing company the job was complete. I'm still looking at a crappy sealant, uneven panels, no net meter with Duke. So I'm looking at a power bill AND a solar bill for a project that isn't done! Not to mention all the promises not fulfilled and missed appointments when we took time off work to be here. I could keep going about property damage and screw ups but I'll save the rest for court since PES doesn't want to make anything right.

AWESOME JOB, INSTALLATION TEAM AND RESULTS PES SOLAR IS DEFINITELY THE ONLY WAY TO GO...:-)

Happy customer

PES is an excellent company. They did everything they said they would do and more. From beginning to end our sales rep. Jerry was there to answer all of our questions. He explained everything to us in detail and the company delivered exactly like he said they would. We highly recommend PES to anyone looking to go solar!! 5 stars!

Great company

It was an extreme pleasure dealing with a company that is so professional, well trained, courteous and efficient. Everyone that I dealt with from Joe underwood, Jan in the office and the installers in the field were of the highest caliber.

Appreciate the customer service & support from Jean! He’s been very helpful throughout the entire process. The installation went well, too.

Jean was great and very helpful! The installation went amazingly as well. Thank you Jean & PES for all your hard work!

Go solar with PES!

The biggest motivation for me to go solar was to make my share of contribution to reduce CO2 emission. Plus the solar price has decreased over the years to a point where it makes economic sense as well (and don’t forget the 26% federal credit). After my thorough research on residential solar panels and comparing several reputable installers in Florida, I've decided to go with PES. I'm very happy so far with my choice. Reasons that I selected PES: - History and reputation. The solar panel industry is relatively new, and many solar panel installers that we found in our area are quite young (less than 3 or 5 years). PES is one of the few that has longer stance in the field (10+ years) with an even longer history in the electrical business. It was important to me to know the installer that I’m using will more likely to be in business for long time so my warranty will stay effective. Also, PES has many stellar customer reviews on Google and EnergySage, which gave me additional confidence. - Products. After researching several top brands (LG, Silfab, REC, Panasonic, SunPower, etc.), I decided to go with either LG or Silfab for their good balance of quality and price. PES happens to carry both with good model selections. I finally went with LG NeON2 Black which also offers an appealing aesthetics besides high performance. - Price. PES’s prices were very competitive among all installers that I researched. I was very happy with the price I got for my products. - Warranty. PES was one of the only few installers that offer a 25-year warranty on BOTH PRODUCTS and LABOR, and the warranty is basically “bumper to bumper” which gives me a great peace of mind. Many other installers only gives a 10-year warranty for labor, and/or charge a fee for each work order visit. PES’s warranty doesn’t charge any fee for necessary site visits. In addition, PES’s warranty is fully transferrable to the next house owner without additional fees, which is superior to many other installers’ warranty. Experience so far has been very positive: - Pre-sale information sessions. My rep (Chandler) was very transparent and honest, and helped me to better understand PES’s products, pricing and warranty. Unlike the reps from some other installers that I talked to, he didn’t push to the largest size - Contracting. Was straightforward, especially since I wasn’t using financing. - Permit. PES handled the city permit without much of my involvement. - Installation. The crew was very professional and proficient. The whole installation took about half day to complete. - Final meter setting. This step involved both PES and my utility company to work together to finish the project and turn on the system. My system is up running now, and it’s extremely satisfying for me to see that my house is completely powered by the sun! The overall experience with PES has been mostly positive, and I’d recommend them to anyone who looks to go to Solar in Florida!

Install went very well and the crew was very pleasant and worked hard

Solar

PES did a great job, everything went well and no issues

I carefully vetted several companies and I can honestly say PES So.ar was the most straightforward when it came to pricing, equipment and warranties. No bait and switch tactics and the install crew was very pleasant and worked hard, I highly recommend this company.

Pes solar

Lucas was great and the communication worked very well since the first contact.

The crew was very professional, I noticed everyone was working together. No bad talking, work lasted a little bit longer than was estimated but overall was a great experience.

Great experience getting home solar installed!

Definitely recommend PES Solar! They were very knowledgeable about the details of the installation, and were very flexible about adjusting the configuration of where my array was located on my house after I asked for a change. Everyone in the company has been easy to work with.

Great customer service very respectful and knowledgeable. Salesman was not pushy, very informative.

Solar System

The process has been great thus far. Lucas the sales rep was excellent in explaining the system system/terms, liked the idea that PES is also a roofing company wherein they will remove the solar panels and reinstall free if we need to replace the roof done by PES and the fact that the warranty is by PES and LG nationwide warranty. I am looking forward to how the system will work. We are very satisfied thus far.

Over promise, UNDER deliver

For the past month they have been telling me that my permit has been sent to the city of P Pines for approval. I call the city to get an update and to my surprise they have have NOT received anything from PES Solar. I call them and they told me that they had an issue with the company that they hire (but wait, they sales rep JP told me that they do everything themselves) so that means that for the past month they have been lying to me about the status of the solar panels.

Honest, straightforward, good price and great quality

The amount of companies offering solar installations is overwhelming today. I spent a long time looking into many companies and decided to go with PES Solar and am very happy with the choice I made. They offered both roof replacement and solar under a single contract - that was a big plus. I was happy with the quality of equipment that they used. Their communication was very good and the installation process went very smoothly. Alex was excellent. He knew what he was talking about, and did a great job laying out and designing the system. I was most impressed with how honest and straightforward he was about explaining the benefits and drawbacks of the various financing options. He was great to deal with and I would recommend him and PES Solar to anyone.
