From sales to install PES has been awesome, they are open and they communicate regularly. I would recommend PES to anyone that is interested in Solar.

Kind of impressed. From the initial phone call to the initial sales visit to the installation of the solar panels it's all been smooth and easy. Spoke with the sales rep several times to ensure the system I wanted was the system I needed. Coordinated with the engineers to ensure the placement of the panels would give me maximum energy. Worked with the installers, who did a very profession looking job.

Very professional company. Was on top from start to finish. Working with homeowner association, permits. And installation. Large crew up and done couple hours. Waiting for FPL to switch meter out so I can get rid of powe bill. Highly recommend company. Chip and Mike walked me thru whole process.

Good Company No Hassle

PES was great from consultation to installation. Did not hassle me along the way. I waited 6 months before I finally decided and they did not pressure me once. Satisfied so far. Just waiting for FPL to complete their part to turn on the system.

Great solar company

PES crew came out and did a very professional and efficient job. They were all very nice and pleasant. They answered all my questions and during installation. They cleaned up everything after they finished. I was very happy with there job. In addition the follow up person, was very helpful and informative and made things more understandable.

Stay away

Sales guy made promises and a year later still waiting and i have all his text messages to prove it ,there office don’t call customers back only when you say your going to BBB they call you back . To me it was all about getting a sale to them i’m having issues with a breaker keep tripping and still waiting also sent a email about other issues still waiting on response

Horrible Experience using PES Solar

We should have knows right away to NOT use this company. We were told (written and confirmed) we could have 12 circuits for our batteries. Ended up being 4! We decided to purchase an additional battery and still only ended up having 8 circuits. The entire installation process was a nightmare with incompetent people showing up, incomplete work, work done wrong, parts missing and/or installed incorrectly, BIG messes left behind and a year later it's still NOT WORKING properly! After the last storm we lost power and found that they split our 8 circuits and now we have only 5 circuits running off batteries. Not to mention they connected the wrong rooms for backup power. This made dinner very difficult to make but hey, the fireplace worked! No one talked to us about our options, showed us how to use the system or explained it to us. Enphase has been nice to work with and helpful but I would NOT USE or recommend PES Solar.

Installed Well but Unfortunately But Not A great Investment

They did a good job... BUT -- They said I should be more then covered and sold me on a hybrid water heater so would be a more efficient house as well and output should be covered entirely, But NEVER has the system made enough to cover 100% cost. Additionally, in Florida you are charged a fee for having electrical service so you also get charged a fee on top of your loan from electrical company plus the loan after rise if you dont give them all your tax refund increases. (it is not entirely clear if we got back the full amount we were supposed to anyways). Therefore we pay more about 50-150$ more/month then without solar. Not that there is significant tax incentive in florida anyways. Cheaper quotes from other companies have additionally come in which is always frustrating. But overall it may not the entirely be the companies fault but the political climate in Florida. They sell you on cost saving and money back but that doesn't happen in Florida so .... Instead probably better to have a solar roof installed with next roof repair or temporarily buy into the FPS solar deals not on your individual house. For now in Florida unlike other states despite the sun opportunity it just has been a bad investment overall. Perhaps when batteries are more affordable and you can pay for solar storage it could be more effective. Overall, feel good I am helping the environment but unlike my parents who made back their money and then some due to electricity return to the system expect to lose money in Florida. I have not found anyone who can say otherwise. (FYI - 50 gal hybrid water heater with 365w system, 25 year warranty, estimated to cover ~150$ electricity bill. My average bill ranged from 60-179 in peak months. So ...-- Currently working at 96% efficiency my bill ranges ~20-50$/month + 178$ month for loan -- even if I had given them the tax credits only given on year of purchase I'd still be paying them almost 150$) Honestly, if I could undo the purchase I would. Recommend against it. There are several better ways to go about this, dont get oversold by the company.

Defective inverters

I just installed this system and constantly have no service. Several times the inverters stop producing power. Total outage and they are slow to send a technician. 3 times techs came and it wasn’t repaired. Now I have to pay for the grid. Paying what I shouldn’t have to pay and won’t reimburse what I pay to fpl.
