NY State Solar

Geart experience!!!

Jack and the team are professional. He explained all the processes and kept you status updated. He answered all the questions I had. Finally we decided to go with 20 panels. Once you decided, the process is super simple and easy. All you need just to sign a few paperwork and wait. With the app on the phone, you can check the panels status easily. Geart experience!!!

We had a great experience!

We had a great experience with this company! Our sales rep Matt McAuliffe was very thorough and knowledgeable in explaining how the process worked and the benefits of going solar! We are very happy with the decision we made and are seeing more savings than we expected!

Amazing and professional team to work with!

Our solar panels are up and working and we couldn’t be happier! Jack Aranya was the project manager we worked with and he was there to answer any and all questions at every step of the way! Jack would even answer my questions on his days off and I would later find out he was not even working that day. Jack was committed to ensuring a smooth and successful process for us- he is an amazing person to work with! All of our experiences with the team at NYSS have been positive- everyone was flexible and worked around our schedules from beginning to end. Thank you, Jack and NYSS!

Amazing

My project manager, Joseph Hawes, was polite, well-informed, and understanding. Being completely new to solar installation, he explained the full process to me thoroughly, created estimates that were on point, explained and helped point me to the right direction for financing, helped connect us with local installers, and continued to support us even post-installation. Working with Joe and NYSS was a good experience and overall, we are very happy with our project!

We had a great experience from start to finish

NY Solar dud a great job in explaining the whole process - explaining tax benefits and cost, obtaining loan, setting us up with installer. The installer did a wonderful job - very quick. We are saving substantially on our electric power. Highly recommend.

Overall a good job

Great and easy process

Matteo Dibono was a great sales person walking us through the process step by step and explained Installation was painless and quick. the installer explained the whole system and how to monitor on app.

Very Pleased

We are very pleased with our panels and have no regrets with our decision to have them installed. We save a good deal of money on energy, and the environmental benefit is worth it regardless.

Great!

We had a great, seamless experience. We worked with Christopher Wen. He explained the entire process, helped us with the paperwork, called and emailed to let us know updates, arranged the installation (amazing installation crew - great work, professional, clean, hard working), answered any question I may have had in a timely fashion and just made it so easy to go solar. The program really worked. The incentives, the loan, everything worked out exactly as he said it would. We went from using a ton of energy to PRODUCING a ton of energy. Central air, a hot tub, a little above-ground pool - two summers ago our electric bill was killing us. Now, it's not a worry. I even put some back into the grid. We are SO HAPPY we went solar and we are SO HAPPY to have had Christopher Wen to help us, because he was really an excellent source of information!

A wonderful experience

Working with NYState Solar was a wonderful experience. Chris Wen is a friendly, knowledgeable sales representative who became a friend and the workers who installed the panels were very professional and neat. I would recommended NYState Solar and HyTech to anyone.

NY State Solar

Great company! Very easy to deal with. Chris Wen made the process painless. I was referred by my daughter and I was not disappointed. The system he designed not only looks great but functions great too. It works well with my geothermal heat.

Great Experience with NY State Solar

Recently I had Solar Panels installed on my house. From the first visit by Alex Lubin, my program manager from NY State Solar, nothing but a good experience. Always available to answer any questions I had along the way. This was one of the best investments I’ve made in my house. I wasn’t sure about getting the panels, but I met with Alex several times and he was able to explain every aspect of the layout, billing, rebates/tax credits, to the final installation (install was through SUNation). Alex was knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout the process. Thanks to Alex, and all at NY State Solar ! Thought it was to good to be true, I was wrong. Couldn’t be happier with the panels, NYSS, SUNation, and incredible savings so far with Spring and Summer still to come.

Excellent Experiance with NY State Solae

We are very happy with our solar energy system and highly recommend NY State Solar, especially our project manager Milan Milosevic. At the time of this writing, our electric bill for September 2019 (our first full month) was the connection charge of $13.83 which was $367 in 2018. We didn’t expect this all the time, but it was a great start. For the period from 9/1/2019 to 1/31/2020, there was a 77% decrease in usage and 69% savings in cost. This yielded of decrease of approximately $1,118 for this 5-month period over the same period 12 months ago ($1,663 to $544). It was proposed to us that the system would produce 52% of our total usage minimum over 12 months. We are at 77% of total usage for the past five months and we are heading towards the higher production days of spring and summer. Milan walk us through the entire process, explain all the details, and was always available for questions. We were told ahead of time what to expect and was never caught off guard. We were presented with all costs including the tax credits (both Federal and NY State) we would receive, what options we had, and the costs of those options. Milan made visits to our home when Hytech Solar (the installation contractor) replaced the roof and install all the equipment. He still checks on us regularly to this day and makes sure we are satisfied and on track with the tax credits and provided the required forms necessary. As a retired licensed professional engineer and construction project manager for 34 years, I think in my professional opinion that Hytech Solar performed top quality work. Not only was the work high quality, but all involved took my suggestions in the design so that the aesthetics of the house was not compromised. The contractor also efficiently cleaned-up and protected the site from damage. This also shows that NY State Solar expects high quality work from their contractors. The only downside is that all costs are paid up front and had to put our trust in NY State Solar that the right job would be done. However, it paid off. The right job was engineered and installed to get the most from the sunlight available. If your interested in solar energy, I highly recommend NY State Solar and ask for Milan Milosevic. You should also do it now as the tax credits have gone down in 2020.

My solar experience with NY State Solar

I recently signed up with NYSS for their solar program. The entire process has been a pleasure and my project manager Franklin Cusma is fantastic. He is knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I highly recommend this company and Franklin to any home owner. NYSS is miles above other solar companies that I have spoke to before. I’m extremely satisfied! Thank you NYSS and Franklin!

Solar installation is good

Solar installation is smooth and Chris Wen provided professional services prior and subquenr to the installation

Positive experience with availability & accessibility of informa

I found the NY State Solar representative Christopher Wen to be easy to deal with, reliable with the information he provided, and generally very accessible and helpful. I was approached by many individuals who tried to “sell me” on going solar. Chris Wen sought to inform me about the process and allowed me to make the decisions. Without this intelligent manner I doubt anyone else could have persuaded me to be interested, to trust and to accept the Solar experience.

Jim Ford at NY State solar was wonderful

My husband Joe and I just moved here two years ago. We looked into solar a few times but hadn't done anything yet. Jim Ford and NY State solar are wonderful. From beginning to end Jim walked us through our project. We got installed about a week ago and everything was exactly as promised. Jim stop by today just to see how everything went and make sure we were pleased. this is a company that goes the extra mile. I will refer them to all of my family and friends.
